Boxing day caching with TheMexikiwi after a festive evening with friends out this way the night before. Decided to made the most of being out here to grab some caches on the way back for good measure.

Another suitably themed cache for us today and after initially parking too far away, made the short walk to GZ where the cache was quickly found.

Nice spot - TFTC

An impromptu visit to Auckland had Team BOP heading for a bit of night caching.
It was the middle of the night, or later, and everyone was well asleep by now, as it was more like 3 am when we visited this cache. We were getting tired, but it didnt slow our caching senses down.
Thanks for bringing me here.

With a break in the weather this was the perfect weekend for geocaching. I had no plans so with the help of TNXPro and Squirrelnutcase we sought out a worthy adventure heading West to help Squirrel clear his map. What no one knew at the time was this adventure would morph to span 21 hours, cover 3 regions and we'd have Davidson clan join us at the half way point just in time for the Auckland leg of our journey. A crazy day with Team BOP but there's no denying - it's a lot more fun with friends!

With the sun well and truly gone we had the place to ourselves which was good as I imagine this place gets pretty busy during the day. The cache was found quickly and in good condition thanks to accurate coords and a straight forward placement. Cheers avoyager, TFTC Smile

Out for a nights caching with Team BOP which consisted of Philip.Pery, Tnxpro,Squirrel nutcase amd myself didnt really have a plan as such just headed for Auckland and followed the caches.
Cache found in good condition

10-Jun-18
With (Mr) Davidson clan, Philip.Perry, and TNXPro...

Our caching adventure quickly morphed into an all night mission in East Auckland. We were looking for an area with a good spread of caches that didn't require a lot of driving from point to point. Botany Town seemed perfect... As with most nighttime missions, cache finds quickly become a blur as there is not much to focus on other than making the find. My lasting memory of tonight will be enjoying the company of our group, mixed with very cold, wet feet from walking across boggy ground.

A quick find as our energies began to fade. TFTC.

30-May-18
Cleaned container out & replaced log book.

27-May-18
Nice find. Log book was soaking wet

Started off with ok weather so we managed to grab a few caches, as the day progressed the weather got worse, managed a few finds, had some lunch, found a few more before the weather set in.
Thanks to the CO's who placed these caches

14-May-18

21-Oct-17
Easy find, cache is in good condition. We came on a day where there wasn't football going on, so no muggles. Tftc Smile

26-Sep-17
Stopped here on the way to work, just a few morning football players practising, car park mostly deserted. Tree identified, even though not flowering at the moment, and a quick crash about the bush revealed the hide. Effective camo, and nice and dry, all signed and returned. TFTC

05-May-17
Got ya, closing in on first 50 - antznz

02-May-17
I was here a long time ago and didn't spot the cache. Considering where I found it today, I am assuming it was missing and was replaced. I know there are no logs to indicate this, but I still stand firm on the 'missing and replaced' theory.
By now there are some of you yelling at the screen that it was really there and that I am just blind, but I am sticking with it. TFTC.

Agazo:
I dont see any DNF log from you, so I dont know how long ago you last looked for this cache.

The cache was moved about 30m in January 2012 because the tree it was in broke in a storm, smothering the cache. The coordinates for the new 2012 location were updated in April 2014 as cachers were having difficulty getting an accurate GZ due to the tree cover.

A spoiler photo of the current GZ has been on the cache page since Sept 2012.

All the Owner Maintenance logs including updated coordinates (twice) are shown on the cache page.

09-Dec-15
I'm currently attempting a 50 day streak for the GIO Licence I am working on and as an added challenge a few of the SEAC crew are joining in.

Decided this was going to be the cache for the day so made my way over here. Parked easily nearby and walked up to the first 'christmas' tree and hey presto there it was - nice easy find for today.

Thanks for the cache. Streak day #18

13-Nov-15
Yay. Second find ☺

04-Nov-15
The second cache for this evening. The name of the cache sounded so promising, because we in Finland know Christmas so well because of our Santa Clause. Big Grin So, I came nearer GZ and noticed one good place to hide the cache. But the cache wasn't there. Then I remembered something important and immediately had the container in my hands after that. Thanks for the cache and very best regards from Finland. Big Grin

16-Oct-15
We were out with lisadrysdale who walked straight to the tree and immediately had the cache in hand. Carpark was nice and empty and we could duck in and out without anyone noticing

16-Oct-15
Was out with my Geocaching mentors - so always happy when I find one faster than they do! This one was partially uncovered, so have hopefully rehidden it well enough for the next people, & so muggles don't spot it...

27-Sep-15
Found on the way to the breakfast event at Denny's. Always good to cache in a new area. Thanks for the caches.

27-Sep-15
