Had a good look around, then read the previous log and decided to not waste any more time on one that probably wasn't available.

Trying to keep out of trouble and its certainly quiet out this way. Staying at a bush camp north of Naracoorte and later at a camp south of Penola. This was a cache we found fun finding. Our thanks to mogni for placing this cache and adding to our enjoyment of the area.
Today was the final day of my trip down the south-east, and I was on my way back towards Adelaide from Mount Gambier. I had done a cave dive at Engelbrecht Cave, and once I had a snack, I decided to head back by some back roads east of Naracoorte. That is, a few *Rusty Rails* caches found and visited the towns of Kybybolite, Binnum, and Frances, before just managing to attend my planned Bordertown event. I then visited Mundulla and its surrounds. The state was in a total fire ban day today, and there were areas that I drove through with a smoky haze, evident of various fires in the region. A hot, hot day indeed.
As others have mentioned, there wasn't a safe place to pull over driving from Naracoorte due to the road barrier in place. So had to do a U-turn and park on the other side, and thankfully there was a break in the traffic. I walked towards GZ, and I guess there is no sign anymore here that fits this geocache's theme? However, perhaps ironically enough, something smelt meaty in the air. The cache was quickly found, and all in good shape. Thanks mogni for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Suscoe had a big day out from Mt Gambier to Naracoorte and back again.
The day was cool to mild with plenty of cloud.
Just perfect for caching in pleasant conditions.
We appreciated the countryside as we went from pines to grazing country then to vines and grazing again.
Thanks to mogni for this hide, they were mooing big time while we were there.

It was not possible to get a safe park as we headed east from Naracoorte so we turned around and parked on the other side of the road. Accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks mogni for the cache.
This day it drive day und at the road we „pick“ geocaching. TFTC

A quick find by the roadside today
With the northerly wind blowing,
I couldn't smell the sausages being made
With the cache found,
I headed west to Naracoorte.
*That was when I got the full effect of the smell !!*
Reminded me of growing up in Adelaide and driving up the Main North Road through Pooraka [XX(]

Had been in Naracoorte with the family before parting ways to go home...
We went through Hynam on the way to Nararcoorte...
TT016 had found it before the armco barrier went in and before the grass and soursobs grew so it was a challenge to locate the cache for us both...
We were almost ready to give up when I thought I'd call the CO...just as I was hanging up a call came from across the road where we had been looking...
Found...thank goodness...

Plodding long the side of the road in wet conditions.....and wondering in the end if new roadside 'furniture' means the cache site has gone. If not far too soggy to explore the trees and fence.
No luck, plenty of big orb spiders though, so didn't spend as much time looking as I normally would.
Nice drive past cache. Did have to go across and park on the opposite side of road but no dramas with that! Busy road and wind blowing the right way today thanks for the cache!
Last couple of times there was some roadworks in the area, it was good to find the cache this time; SL; TFTC
Found It!
Parking was a bit dodgy here but still a quick find. Smells like beef.

After spending the weekend doing the Border Track, I had an extra day to grab some caches in the area. TFTC.
Finally we have managed to get this one. This one was MIA the first time we tried it and we returned a few times and then we heard awhile back that the cache had been replaced. Today I was with Dr. Owl and Sushilord so it was time to turn this green box into a yellow smile. SL TFTC
Owl and Sushilord decided on a weekend adventure and went to visit the Muffs. Owl had never visited the Little Desert before and this was the perfect excuse. The Muffmobile was hijacked and Mrs Muff taken as a hostage to ensure easy finds, though she proved recalcitrant in that regard. Lovely weather and good companionship added to the enjoyment. No BBQs were harmed in the finding of this cache, even though it took a couple of looks to find.
Stopped right beside this one making for a very speedy find, but no time to fire up the BBQ TFTC mogni
Caching around the Wimmera and Upper South East with Beaker.
We totalled 94 caches over 670 km in 28 hours.
Quick easy find on the side of the road

I went out to hunt for the old caches.... but no luck so a new one has been put in place. I am hoping it stays longer than the last.
Good luck
Good luck
Did Not Find looked for a while but no luck think the owner should check up on this cache
Realised after an extensive search with a previous finder this one was MIA. I hope it's ok I replaced it with a new key holder and signed the new logbook. A few local kids around so we wondered if they know the hidey spot. Thanks mogni
Spent a considerable amount of time at this cache and no luck
After the previous DNF's I wasn't hopeful, but it has happened before..
This def needs CO check

Sadly our first DNF today but considering the amount of DNFs on this cache, its not surprising we didnt find it

Steak, yes. Ribs, probably. Mince maybe.
Cache? No. Searched high and low, but wasn't able to see this one at all. Given the number of DNFs I definitely don't think it's a case of cache blindness. Think it's gone.
Donnazev logged a NM on this one, so I think the CO might need to pop out for a looksie.

Nope no luck for us finding a cache.
However we did see steak, ribs, mince and a BBQ!

A call to the owner did not help us find a cache here. Not sure if it is missing or hidden to well for us.
No luck I'm afraid, I didn't give it much more than a 5 minute look in the obvious places. There's a bit of fresh growth that might have impeded the search. Perhaps another time.
Plenty of meat waiting to be processed but we didn't find the cache today a case of cacher blindness or just poor sat lock next time we travel through TFTC
Found with Tassie Trekkers on our way to the Oz Mega. Certainly a lot of steak watching us today. TFTC
Found on our "Making Memories" Tour of Mainland Australia.
Heading to the OZ Mega with whitewebbs picking up caches on the way. With geovans in tow we managed to park nearby. TFTC

# 7988 Found on the SA leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure,
while staying in Naracoorte for a few days.
Not many muggles around and a reasonably quick find on most of them.
Thanks for the cache mogni,
Roostaman.

We've passed this one in the opposite direction several times - today was unusual in that we were going the other way so we can finally cross this one off. TFTC.

A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
