Well hidden. Almost got muggled. But managed to sign and rehide without being seen. Beware of the millions of bugs who have made this hide their home

A dry and cloudy day in Mildura - perfect for seeking out a variety of caches, within easy reach of town.
We are usually a bit wary of this type of multi, however with a party in full swing in one corner and kids swarming over the equipment, our pointing, counting and note taking went without causing concern. A walk through the wet grass helped clean the "Wizards Chess" mud off our shoes and we were soon adding our name to the log.
Thanks doheng for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

This was my last full day in Mildura and I dragged my brother and his kids out to find a few of the nearest geocaches.
This one didn't take us long to find as we had previously solved but GZ was empty. Today we spotted it exactly where we had previously looked.
Thanks

I had never been to Mildura mainly because it is anlong way from home. But I wanted a holiday with my kids and we decided to fly from Melbourne which was great fun. This cache was my last cache for the trip and despite 1 clue throwing me I made the find quickly. Thanks to doheng for placing this cache.
In Mildura to catch up with honeysucker for the weekend. A hot day peaking at 46C but still managed some caches. TFTC.
Find #1233 for me. This was a quick find with jtnsilo - our sixth find on a NW Victoria caching road-trip from Bendigo. We needed this one to cover Map #2 of the UBD Victorian Road Atlas - another step closer to completing the challenge (GCY98X). I'm also hoping to complete the multicache monthly challenge so this cache nicely fulfilled the requirements for that one also! After arriving at GZ we gathered the necessary information and made a quick find at GZ a short distance away. The container and log-book were both in good condition. Thanks for placing a cache here for us to find today doheng!
We first attempted this on our first night in Mildura , coming up with numbers that had us in the middle of nowhere with no sign of a hidden cache to be spied. Hmm what did we do wrong ? Went back and counted again but still came up with the same answer.Due to the lateness of the night we called it quits and put it on the back burner. Now today with some inside knowledge from the CO, we headed back to the area we now knew was GZ, using the hint. Within seconds we were looking at the cache. Literally, we found it in the open! After adding our names to the log we rehid the container as best we could.
**Thanks doheng for the multi.**

After a huge day yesterday, we were at it again. Unfortunately the weather wasn't as kind to us today. The planned 4wd tour was cut short after I got bogged, 3 times !! With a change of plans, we stuck to more solid ground. Once again we found a great variety of hides and cache types. Thanks again to the CO's. We went over the sums quite a few times and always got the same answer. Unfortunately we couldn;t find the hide. Aftera bit of insider knowledge, we used a slightly different method. BINGO, there you are!! TFTC doheng
I found this while in Mildura for a speedway meeting. It was a most enjoyable weekend. tftc.
Crusty.
Crusty.
This was a fantastic multicache. We left the kids to work out the puzzle and followed the coordinates. Great camo but be careful of all sorts of critters. TFTC and the great day out for the family doheng!
A school was playing on the play ground while we were there so we were a little reluctant to go in. we managed to answer most of the questions from the car and then quickly popped into the play ground to confirm our answers. we decided a non subtle approach would work best while near the adults watching over the kids, clearly reading out the questions and answering them. one parent even joined in answering the questions.
Soon we were off to GZ and after a little bit of looking we were about to give up when I finally spotted it. then came the mini heart attack I had when I went to open it and a bunch of cockroaches fell out from under the ammo cans locking system. log book signed and replaced.
I really enjoyed this Multi, minus the bugs

Took a little while to find it. Good Hide! well camouflaged! be careful when touching the lid as crock rochers and other bugs were chilling on it.... gross! also be careful of magpies up in the trees.
Got the right coordinates and it was a short bike ride to find the final cache.

Pulled up at WP1 and there were a few big and little muggles in the playground. Think we must have looked a bit suss as they all packed up and left when we got out of the van! Can fully understand why single male geocachers are always reluctant to tackle playground caches.
Went for a cruise around and gathered the required information. Than Mr Beetle stayed with the van while I wandered over to GZ.
Two golfing muggles were just teeing off near by so I hid behind a bushy tree until they had hit their balls, got in their golf buggy and driven off. Can't see the point of playing golf if you drive around the course in a buggy. And these 2 were only young!
Back to the cache though. It was quickly located and was my very favourite container type. This one was doubly protected though. Thanks, a favourite point from us.

Day nineteen of the short holiday with Bettyboo3747.
The last day of our holiday. Toured around Mildura and surrounds and picked up a couple of multi's that were unavailable the last time we were here.
I reckon, if you put out a playground cache, you should have to specify where you can hire a couple of small children to take in!
We worked most of the numbers out from the car, and a short tour confirmed them.
A nice stroll to GZ, and a great sized cache with lots of swaps.
Thanks, Robmc.

# 9527. A full day in the Buronga/Mildura area before heading back to Melbourne tomorrow. The aim was to gather a few multis and any traditionals that appeared along the way. We started with a re-visit to the Inland Botanic Gardens as we ran out of time yesterday.
When we were here almost 2 years ago the cache was missing unfortunately. Today we pulled up and tried to re-do all the calculations from the car as there were quite a few families in the park. We sauntered through for quick confirmation of a couple of points and then headed off to GZ. There it was, just waiting for us. A good cache in great condition and with a lot of goodies. Added a couple more bits of SWAG and off we go.
Thanks doheng

Luckily there were no mini muggles around early this morning or we would of had to give this a miss. Coords in hand and soon we were at GZ. Luckily only a quick search before the tell tale kerplunk was heard.

It certainly was a place to play today, a few kids and families here today. We grabbed the numbers quick smart, and thankfully GZ was far enough away for us not to look suspicious. Thanks for bringing us here, and for the cache.
With limited time and noon sun, believe we located the right tree. But ground looks untouched so gave up digging around randomly. Try again next time we're in Mildura.
rainy weather AND the playground closed made it really easy to get the coordinates unseen after i had made my way to gz, i had to search for a while and also read the previous logs before i could unveil the well hidden cache. TFTC!
in: TB that i can't log because it's in the hand of its owner, from where i can't grab it and the owner hasn't replied to my request about a month ago...

Came to the park just as it was getting dark. Good hint or we'd have sworn we'd got the numbers wrong! Then we were racing against daylight as no one had brought a torch, read previous finds and had a bit of a dig lol. Great size, took a toy car and left a play necklace. Tftc!
Found at 3:13 PM GAFF4/1. Quite extensive playgrounds here that is for sure. Must be really busy on sports days.
Cache took bit longer to locate than expected as it was well covered and quite invisible.
Thanks doheng.

Out for the day geocaching with geocarterx4. We left a blue haired troll and took a little teddy bear TFTC
Found with Bogonghazy after having a day off caching yesterday. We netted in excess of 50 finds for the day, ate lunch on the go in the car, but found some fantastic hides during the day. With the necessary numbers in hand we proceeded to GZ where we were delighted to find an Ammo Can. Reminds me of the good ol' days of caching. Thanks to doheng yet again for another of your hides.
Sully and I did the quick numbers here and were pleased our distance agreed with the CO's. A nice quick multi and a short walk to GZ, thanks again doheng for showing us another interesting part of your town
The first one attempted today but Robmc and I had no luck here. We didn't really expect to find it with 2 DNF's logged already but we always hope we will be the ones to find it. Think it is time for a CO check-up.
BettyBoo3747 and I toured a few of the caches in Mildura, had a big lunch, did a few more and then went swimming. Good day in all!
We started here - not such a good start. Did our calculations (the blue sail has been replaced) and walked to GZ.
No body home at GZ, particularly not an ammo can.
Thanks, Robmc.

Got accosted by some lady who called the Police because there was a male outside the playground taking notes on a phone!
And what's more, then when I looked for the cache I couldn't find it. Was the right location and found a depression in the ground where a cache may have been.
***un favourite***

I had the pleasure of the company of CPwanderer and DennisC52 for a caching trip to Mildura.
We saw lots of rain on our first day but then dry sunshine for the last two days.
We locus cache'd a few caches (121 finds and 13 DNFs) and all in all had a great time, especially on some of the state forest dirt roads!
Yes, there were police involved (twice) but luckily no fines!
I think the boys were tired of playing by now as I am sure I heard groans from them when I suggested doing this cache!
However they allowed me to Stop and Play and we all left with a smiley

Out geocaching with family traceandrob team, had a great afternoon hunting down geocaches, it was great to stand back and watch them going off in all directions but eventually someone found the cache.
nice multi went and had a look inside and wish we knew this was here ten years ago when the kids were small . helps to put the right numbers in to find the cache. tookTB dropped two TB

Managed to get the info we needed for the multi from sitting in the car. Nice big cache at GZ. TFTC.
1st cache for the day, was a quick multi with a traditional just up the patch. TFTC
Aware of how popular this playground can be, I had planned to attempt this one at the crack of dawn. But I had nothing better to do this afternoon so I decided to drive past and check it out. In the end, I managed to gather the required information without having to enter the playground and arouse too much suspicion. Found the cache without too much fuss. GZ is teeming with bees at the moment - proceed with caution.
Thanks Doheng.
Thanks Doheng.
There has never been a good time for me to do this one on my previous trips. After meandering along the river tracks it was approaching dusk and it seemed like a good time - surely all the mugglets would be home by now. No but managed to collect the info between carloads and then wandered passed the tennis players to GZ. After a string of micros today it was nice to find a large container. Took the TB to take to the NZ mega. TFTC doheng
Sorry for the late lost log. Found while on family holiday in Mildura. Found on an early morning run with Happy pants. Thanks doheng.
After bringing my young geokids here on a early cache run, we soon counted up the required numbers and then headed off to the GZ. Fans of larger cache containers or kids will love this one, SL @7:50 am TFTC
Completed the sums yesterday, but due to needing to cook the BBQ, time ran out. Returned today and collected whilst the kids played.
Another fine day in Mildura so we ventured future afield and managed to get some great caches. This was one we targetted and found. Fabulous playground we enjoyed having a look around as we collected the data then it was a short drive to find the cache.
Thanks to doheng.
Thanks to doheng.
Awesome Cache i stood on it and Shortii found it like 10 secs later TFTC!!! found with shortii
Both Rambojoz and I thought this was a great hide. Surprising how something like that can be so hard to find. TFTC
This was one multi-cache that I decided to tackle while here. Unfortunately muggles in the playground stymied my searching but I soon had a likely set of coords and was rewarded at GZ. TFTC
Tried not to look suspicious wandering outside the playground with my notebook! Good thing the playing fields were muggle free today although they must have all been inside clubrooms or the like with the number of cars about! tftc
3782nd total find at around 12:50
What a great place to play: Kiddies playground, tennis, cricket, golf, geocaching . . .
Took: Nothing
Left: Smiley Badge
Thanks doheng for the cache

Hee Hee. Pleanty of goodies inside. Nothing taken, nothing added. Nice Cache. Thx.
Lots of muggles today, we sat in car and did what we could then went in and got the answers for the rest of the clues. Inputed the numbers took a drive and found the cache, took crocodile left chook. TFTC
