Just read that this cache has been archived, however we found it exactly at the spot indicated by our GPS. It appeared to be OK although wet.

West New South Wales trip 2020. Day 6. I was joined by MinnieK and Fitzy_1965 for a trip planned to go from Goulburn to Forbes, Nyngen, Cobar, Broken Hill, Wentworth and Balranald. Having spent two great days in Broken Hill, it was time to move on. We headed to Wentworth, but went via Menindee. It was a bit odd seeing Lake Menindee completely empty, and Lake Pammeroo over full, BOM says 116% ! The country is showing a bit of green, but it feels very dry.
At least it was not on the tractor, but another form of tractor as knocked the lid off your hole.
Thanks for the cache Stewbies_6

Day 6 - A day drive from Broken Hill down to Wentworth. What we didn't know was the extremely dry Broken Hill we left behind would have flooding rains 2 days later - Wow ! Finding some sad remains nearby we put a temporary cache with log in the hidey hole. Should be for a while until the CO can make other arrangements.
Thanks Stewbies_6 !!

I was in town and went for a walk after dinner to locate this one, hoping there would be less chance of being spotted. A few minutes wandering about the area the cache was located, about 5 metres from the coordonates.
Sadly, the cache is in desperate need of some TLC. The lid is missing so phillip wasn't needed. Unfortunately the log is also gone - so not actually sure this counts as a find....?
This town loves the old Fergie Tractors with the monument nearby. Also, an original tractor is pride of place in one of the pubs, with plenty to period photos adorning the walls showing the tractors at work.

We found this in quite a state of disrepair. Sorry that we were unable to give it some TLC. Thanks for the cache.

Continuing my first caching adventure with OzHockeyChick, Papi4506 & GeoTurtle37 and a mega adventure it is! A much quieter day today as we casually visit town and nab a few NSW caches before we get booted out. Cache has seen better days and needs a replacement lid
Thanks Stewbies_6 for placing the hide!

Beadling around all day and mostly out around Wentworth. Love this landscape as reminds me of my roots. Spotted a blue tongue lizard on the other side and took pics of Sturt’s Desert Peas earlier in the day, had a nice chat with a lady over hot ️ and a scone, visited the Perry Sandhills and Murray/Darling rivers confluence A fab day and purrfect weather here
Cover is loose so no need to rustle up Philip for help. Creative but as falls outside the geocaching Guidelines can’t give it a point.

Found fantastic cache , first one in Wentworth - definitely worth a stop - Have a fav
Off for a drive to Wentworth and couldn’t help but stop at the little Fergie tractor(old farmers) tftc
A quick find as the lid was off the top at gz. In between an Icecream and the trip back to dusty Mildura. tftc
Nice day to find a cache or two with Purrfect Di and Jack.
An impressive little Fergie, and a cache nearby.
Cache has seen better days. Mown too much perhaps!

This geocacher reported that the container is damaged. The cover is damaged and needs some attention.
Off on a road trip to the Silo Art tour Vic, Mildura, Goolwa SA, Maitland SA and then home via Murray Bridge, Naracoorte, and the Grampians, picking up some caches along the way as we see the sights. We have arrived at the next stop on our trip, Mildura. Today we headed over to Wentworth and the Perry Sandhills and we decided to check out this cache due to the large number of favourites. The GPS initially had us all over the place but it was Mrs Pooky who eventually made the find which was made easier by the broken lid. We also got a bonus with a TB which we picked up to help him on his journey. TFTC.
What a cute little Fergie statue. Have spent many good days with geo cousins in Geelong, motor bikes around the orchard, whilst my uncle fixed Fergies in the shed up to presentable again. Very happy memories. Thank you.
An easy find and Phillip wasn’t needed, due to a broken cover. Pretty sure it wasn’t meant to be this easy. Suggest it needs a visit.

Was off by about 5 meters so spent time in the wrong place but that could be power lines looked over and thought I’d give it a go and there it was. Dropped a trackable. Favourite point t too

Turned out an easy find on this one. Used the family for cover 'while i retied my shoelaces wink wink' Then went over and checked out the monument, thx Stewbies-6 for a clever hide. Didnt need the TOTTs today.
On a short break and drive heading for Mildura with a view of grabbing a few caches to fill in some missing New South Wales and Victorian LGAs along the way. Driving around some of the back roads we stopped off for this cache. With the cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache container and log are in good condition. Thanks for the cache Stewbies_6.

TFTC Easy to find, no need of Phillip’s help. Repair/replacement needed. I left new paper in snap lock bag due to the other being wet..... not from the rain!!!!!
Took nothing, left key ring. We have enjoyed a few days in the area. Visited the Gaol, museum, junction island, and garden near tower.....amazing garden design if you stand on the footprints and look to work it out. Well thought out!!! Big V museum and Woodies gems in Mildura. All worth the look.

Quick find with my wonderful long suffering muggle husband. Log is saturated but had nothing to replace it with. Garden has been beautifully done up. As we are apple growers my husband was pleased with the Fergy tractor as that was one of their first tractors. TFTC TNLNSL
Warning this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise.
A short stop off, easy find although cache is very wet.
A trip away with the grandfather (freddo) to the Riverland and Mildura, for the weekend to attend the 3X3 events for the events held in New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.
Thanks for the cache.

An awesome little find here, the Ferguson tractor is a great little creation, and a proud part of the Wentworth history.
It’s wonderful to read the history another Ferguson, and the important part it played in saving the town during the 1956 floods.
Thanks for sharing this interesting spot in town.

#2116 Taking the long way from Melbourne to Adelaide via Mildura and stopping here and there to pick up some caches. Thanks to Stewbies_6 for this one. Log too wet to sign so I left a piece of paper.
Trust the GPS. The cache was swimming in water so we couldn’t sign it. But we took photos.
Found whilst doing a trip around NSW following the Murray and Darling Rivers, visiting the following places, Young, Mulwala, Barham, Wentworth, Mungo National Park, Copi Hollow, Wilcannia, Louth, Brewarrina, Warrumbungles and Tamworth, crossing over the border to visit some adjacent town on the way. Now on the way toPooncarie from Fort Courage stopped here to find a group of workers digging around the area and watering. So came back later and found the cache undisturbed but water logged. And Phillip is no longer needed. TFTC Stewbies_6

A bit of a trick this one. A council worker went by and checked out what I was doing. Trust your gps. Thanks
Day 3 of the trek to the Queensland Outback Geocaching Muster. Todays leg from Mildura to Broken Hill, of course grabbing caches along the way. TFTC.
My, this was rather a challenging cache to retrieve and replace due to where it is placed. The cache certainly was well planned and was excellent in it implementation.
Pity the logbook is wet but it was writable. Not really the spot where we could replace it by a new dry one as it was rather busy at times. Perhaps muggles thought we were getting worms for fishing?? We will give you a well deserved fav from us as it sure was an ingenious cache in what it was and where it was situated.

TFTC. Very clever cache. Log book needs a new plastic bag - it is quite soggy.
Had a couple of good looks last year with CacheClosed1847 and we're sure we had looked in all the possible locations. But, he soon had it hand in the first place we looked this time around, despite it being submerged in water. The house I grew up in is about 100 metres from here, and is up for sale again. We drove past it last night to be greeted by a roo hopping up the street. Gotta love country towns. TFTC #401.
Ridiculously quick find with CachingTheJoint. After a long hunt last year, which resulted in a DNF, we weren't feeling confident about this one. I parked up the car, approached GZ and said "This was a point of interest last time we loo..." only to be interrupted by the container in my hand. TFTC, #431
Checking out some areas we stopped for the Georgie monument. Love the history in these places. Made the easy find while no one was about. Thanks for the cache
Found while holidaying in this great little town .. didn’t have a pen so could sign log book( was damp).. clever hide RFTC left a little Serenity

Second visit have a clear go lots of cars going to event but we signed and replaced many thanks.
Found in one of a few likely spots. The cache lid is split so the contents are damp. Thanks Stewbies_6.
Houseboating around with UncleTom3 - found the cache and realised we didn't have Philip with us - but an alternative was devised and we were able to log the cache without too much trouble - was a little hard to open initially though.
Spending a week exploring the Murray on a houseboat, and came downstream as far as Wentworth so that we could say we also been on the Darling. Had a wander around town and did a little shopping. Went looking for this cache specifically because of the significance of the 'fergy'. We didn't have Phillip with us, but found a workable alternative in our pocket. TNLN TFTC.
A quick find on the second visit. First time around too many people about but today the coast was clear. TFTC

This must be at least the 3rd time we have looked for this and finally with the assistance of the rest of the family. Thankfully I can now get a smiley for this.
This had me looking wear I should not be looking. Let's think about this and look at GPS. Ahhhh I know where it is:-)
Found at 1230. Having grown up in a rural area I remember the Furgy Tractor fondly. I was nice to see a memorial dedicated to the humble but popular tractor. BTW you no longer need Phillips help except as a hint. TFTC.
