Here again, still nothing, after contacting previous findersand getting an exact location!
There has been 5-6 other dnfs since my last visit also!
And the cache owner hasn't logged into gc.com since November last year either.
Unless a previous finder wants to head out here and physically confirm it is in fact here, then I
think it should be archived to stop wasting cachers time, and free up the area for someone
else to place a cache here, since it is a great spot for one!

Staying down at Strathalbyn with Goldrush Ballooning for a couple days over Easter + geocaching of course! A DNF for us today which adds us to a list of other recent DNF's. Nice area for a cache thou
[?] Can the owner please check the cache to ensure it's still there?
Looks like they haven;t been online for a couple of months, so may need archiving, which would be a shame as this part of the cemetery is almost hidden....

No luck for us today on our wander around Strathalbyn. It was still a lovely spot to visit though
We spent way too much time looking for this. Trees, were examined, rocks were checked, hands were put in dark places hands shouldn't go. But alas, no cache was found, and no smilie was earned.
Another DNF in Strath.
Being 4th DNF in a row, I think a check is in order?
If in fact it is there, then the coords may need tweaking as it was giving me a GZ on bare earth....

We looked for about 45 minutes and phoned Astro who confirmed that where we looking is right but still no cache. Recommend wearing gloves before tackling those tussocks as we are now covered in scratches and itchy pokes!
Interesting places cemetaries. We love doing cemetary caches. We looked at the grave, pondered the cache name then stumbled on the cache. Co-ords were spot on, the cache was a bit exposed. We signed the log and tucked it back safely for the next finder.

Found on the trip home after spending the weekend in Port Elloit with my Schatzy.
We decided to come home via Strath and pick up a few along the way. Our last before heading into town for a yummy pizza from the cafe in High Street. Definatly worth stopping if your around these parts. We'll be back

Spent an hour yesterday looking. Went back again today for another look and walked straight up to it.
Search for a while but no luck. Seemed to be out on the open ground. Have to go back again soon.
Actually, going on the fact the log book is full and that the owner hasn't logged on for a couple of months perhaps it's time for this one to go as well?
It is highly unlikely to be maintained.

After failing to find it yesterday on our way south we elected to go with the phone a friend option. Even with detailed directions it still took us half an hour to find.

Another one on our list of previous Strathalbyn DNFs and, unfortunately, it remains on that list with no joy for us, again!
Another one that we couldn't find today.....spent lots of time looking but no luck!
Found the grave but not the cache. Looked around for quite some time but could not locate. Another time
Wow......If you don't have your eyes open, you will miss this one!! I must of looked at it at least 3 times before I found it!!
Creepy location. "She is not dead, she is only Sleepth"

GPS put me in the middle of trees, fallen branches, and rocks. It was dusk and getting dark, which is probably not the best time to spot a well hidden cache, and I scoured the area, turning over every rock and piece of wood, but with no idea what I was meant to be looking for I failed to find it.
Finally found after a ccouple of visits, victory this time, happy to finally cross this one of the list TFTC
Searched & searched both high and low, geoD used the iPad to pinpoint GZ, we searched some more but didn't have any luck.
Maybe the witch has cast a spell and made it disappear. One for another day.

Very strange that the impressive grave is so far away from the rest of the cemetery. The cache was carefully hidden, thankfully found to the nearest metre! Thanks imhidingsa.
Found by B3, not sure how though.
GZ seemed to be out in a pretty clear piece of ground, no hiding spots near by, but there was!
Thankyou imhidingsa, done a few of yours today, and like 'em all!

On a previous occasion was about 200 metres out, the magnitude of which doesn't really tally with the previous logs. This time found the cache, after a while, out in the open. Carefully placed it where I thought it should be and replaced its cover. Thanks imhidingsa.

Using the owner’s coords posted in his note of 15 January 2011, and helped by the hints from Freddo and Astro, we had no trouble this time in locating the cache.
However in fairness to future seekers I agree with others that you should update the coords as recommended by the UMP.

Thanks for bringing us to this interesting spot which, as they say, ‘We would never have visited but for Geocaching!’

Thought I'd give it a shot but with dodgy co-ords and the heat my heart wasn't really in it.
Will be back.
Will be back.
Please either correct the coords (using the link you'll find in the "edit listing" page) or, if it's too far away, email me the details (GC code and new coords, to save me having to search for them) and I'll update it.

I like how the cemetery is almost in three sections, but can't work out why, if there are graves of all ages in each one it is not a chronological zoning. Anyway, I found it! TFTC
No luck with this one but, with the new coords and a call to the helpline, we hope to have better luck next time.
Thanks imhidingsa for bringing us to another cemetery and initiating into some witchcraft lore!

Thankfully we had to wait out a muggle who was in the cemetery, so it gave us a chance to look up the correct co-ords, otherwise we would have wasted a lot of time.
It's dissapointing that the co-ords haven't been updated, as this was a great location. We really enjoyed the large cemetery and how everyone had been spread out across different sections.
Not sure that there is really a need for such a small cache, that is difficult to find, in an area that could well have a good large container, and more people would be interested in looking around a bit more, rather than scratching around in the dirt.
A great place, that we enjoyed exploring though.

Sadly I had the old coords - although I didn't go as far as astro before realising
As theUMP has said you should update the coords to the right ones to avoid any more confusion

There were no red flags flying at the archery range as that was a good thing- yep, we snuck in the back. Dangerous but you cache a cache these days. After 5 minutes, we were stuffed so luckily Telstra and Optus were within range.
Move a few 100 metres.
Check out the shots of this grave.
You know they are burying people standing up these days. Saves a stack of space. So what would they do if we had a stack of witches. Would they burn them, or put them on scales with ducks? Rack 'em, pack 'em and stack 'em!
Down to business: Another hint could contain the letters ?ussoc?. I reckon it needs one here. Otherwise we will be getting a lot of phone calls Clear skies and love the now new location. (pics) Great to meet Cooper and Co here too [^]
PS, for the record, this cache is lighter than a duck, and it would burn.

Met Astro and Freddo at the site. With their many years of caching experience .. plus ours of several weeks .. we were still all scratching our heads.
Interesting grave... not dead, just resting!

We had the original coords in our GPSrs. No caches there. Don't go there. Scary place.
Searched the interweb and found some new numbers. We were searching at GZ and a local family arrived to visit the witch. They explained the details of the grave, and which bits meant she was a witch. Scary.
Then we looked some more for the cache. I had been told to trust my GPSr. That's depressing because there is not much at GZ. Scary.
Another group of geocachers arrived. More searching with 4 sets of eyes. Damn this is scary.
Eventually I paffed and got a nudge the put the cache in my hand in 5 seconds.
To be honest I think this hide needs a hint. A 7 letter word starting with T and ends with K. GZ was 3m from your new numbers, and it does not get much better than that.
Think about that hint word.
Scary cache on a full moon night.

Hmmm.... I obviously had the old coordinates as I found myself in the midst of an archery range

What an interesting cemetery. Just rely on your gps. Sneaky hide. Thanks imhidingssa for the cache and hunt. All done before the TDU.
WOOT! FTF!!!
I started this adventure with the following thought in mind:
Which grave's the 'Witches Grave', near which we might find the 'Witch Grave' Cache.......
I had half an idea, and at first, the Archery Range wasn't it. We explored where we thought the Witches grave was (which was confirmed by the second revision of co-ordinates) still with no luck.
Today I saw Imhidingsa's new revision and my immidiate thought was this might be the last chance at a FTF.
So, little miss Pheonix was loaded into her backpack, and we marched over to the Cemetary for another go. The new Co-ords are good, and this clever little cache was in hand a short time later.

Silver .... with the new co-ordinates this didnt take long. Unsure how this cache will stand the test of time as its position could easily, accidentally be disturbed by night cachers or other folks just short cutting to the nearby walking track. "%$#@&*#" micro caches...... don't you have a nice big ammo box(or perhaps a 44 gallon drum cache) to put out ............. all these little critters are bad for the eyes!!!
BRONZE.... I can't believe it - it was right there, and so were we, and we still didn't spot it!! We've got it now though..... had to post the pic as the geowoof was behaving...

Well Ive had lots of luck with your other hides imhidingsa but this one beat me! Arrived at the GZ at six this morning and spent the better part of an hour searching, and searching and searching..................... no luck!!! Headed off to do another nearby cache(Left...) and then returned for another go at this.... still no good!
Will return soon with a D9 Dozer, a squad of Royal Engineers, and a large quantity of explosives!!! Or perhaps ill just watch the logs closely on this one!!

well........... 5 visits and roped in friends also - still no luck. ho hum. will keep it in my GPS for a later date i think. maybe tomorrow!!! i think my hobby is becoming an obsession - i wonder when it becomes a mental illness?!? ha ha
went for a walk today in this cemetery that i didn't know was there! sadly DNF as my GPS had the cache 65m into the archery zone!! i wasn't going in there alone, so will try again later and will take hubby to sort me out - you never know we may still be FTF?!?
