Dry weather has returned - so time to check these fire zone caches on the dry weather tracks.
Happy to report that this one is still there, in excellent condition, safe and sound.
Luckily something caught my eye and saved Jack and I a massive search

This cache has been temporarily disabled due to a recent fire in the area. An extensive area of farmland has been burnt out and poses a potential risk to public safety. For safety reasons, visitors should keep clear of all areas that have been affected. See updates at http://www.cfs.sa.gov.au/site/warnings_and_incidents/pinery_fire_information.jsp
Found with mkmc while rubber necking through where the recent firestorm was. It survived! We was exhausted after finding it though!
Weekend off work and some much needed sun was time to do a few caches that been wanting to do, just let the gps take me where ever today.
Today we travelled to Greenock, after setting up in the showgrounds we headed out to find a few caches. We went to Kapunda & back via Freeling.
A good varieties of caches found.

Today Snap Happy was our chauffeur as we travelled around this neck of the woods with earthlight collecting unfound caches, interesting how someone drops a needs maintenance without waiting for the DNFs, cache is safe and sound and clearing the cactus has not affected this one. TFTC
Another quick find & sign here, thankfully it was in the very first place I looked [^]

We found this while enjoying an afternoon caching around beautiful Greenock. We LOOOVE the camo...that's one we have never seen before
We have just returned from six weeks of hiking in the Grampians in Victoria where we used up all our stocks of favourite points but this one has joined our list of 'waiting for a favourite' and will receive one as soon as we have earned it.
Many thanks for a great hide RedLeggies[^][^][^]

Our 'found it' screams were a little muffled here.

At first, I thought I knew what I was heading for however my first thoughts were wrong!
Now that is a different type of hide for this plant type

A very cute hide and certainly easier, and less harmful, hide than we expected on pulling up!! Thanks redLeggies for the hide!
I felt like an idiot when I finally found this one. I had been getting poked in all sorts of ways for no good reason! My GPS was bang on too, I just wasn't paying attention. TFTC.

First of four for the day on a bike road out the back of Freeling. First one I'd seen hidden like that, thanks!
The cache name put us off a little, but we had it in hand quickly. One of my favorite for the day, and only because I almost bogged the lowered urban assault geo-vehicle on the way out. Fun fun fun. TFTC.
Not a great cache to be going to after the car had been washed but a fun cache none the less. I am very grateful though that it did not live up to its name. TFTC
Was out doing some cache maintenance on the Prime Ministers Series, but managed to get some finds in as well.
Could have been a lot worse. TFTC.

We were thankful that it had been dry out here long enough for the roads to be easily passible. Had it been wet, we wouldn’t have been able to get half of the ones that we DID do today.
Auzee made a cup of tea while I went searching for a bit of wire . Found it straight away and returned to the car for tea and bickkies [^]. Cheers.
