Day 5 of our trip saw us visiting Lincoln National Park starting down at the cape before meandering our way back till we ran out of daylight exploring the tracks. Wasn't hopeful on this one with the string of DNF'fs but had a look anyway but still left without a find, cache blindness perhaps but think this one may be gone

Looked at GZ and within a 10 metre radius. No sign of it today. Such a shame after nice walk along the beach.
Vanuit Port Lincoln National Park Lincoln gaan bezoeken en hierbij deze cache gezocht, maar niet gevonden.
Found It!
Thankfully there was no one in the nearby campsite so this was a quick and easy find!

Nomads travelling in their caravan around Australia. We have been on the road since July 2011 and discovered caching in August 2013. We travel with a bunch of travel bugs belonging to our sons and grand children. Where ever possible, we will maintain your cache as we travel.
Camped up on the hill behind Port Lincoln, today, it was time to explore the Lincoln National Park.
We singled out 14 caches, and found all fourteen of them. all in good order, except for one - details on that page.
Rewarded at the end of the day by a pod of dolphins playing out in the water. Fitting end of the day for this cache Thanks Wheres wolly

Day 3.
finally made it to Port Lincoln. Stopped in there for one cache then headed to the information center to book my national park pass and over night stay in this park. Spent all that day and some of the next getting all the caches in the national park before heading off to memory cove for the next day. It was windy but nice weather for my stay in the park. quick find at gz.
someone was in the nearby camp site, they may have wondered what i was doing

Quick find, super new container. What a lovely beach...very peaceful today. TFTC
Thanks for this cache. Found it on our trip around Oz. The container was rusted out and home to a little gecko. We changed the container to try and preserve the log book.
In Port Lincoln for a week and today was National Park caching day. Found with Csaba! and SupaTurtle. Tra La Laaa
In Port Lincoln for a week. CACHES MUST BE FOUND in the National Park. Found with Csaba! and SupaOrange. Turtle Out
Walking the beach with SupaOrange and SupaTurtle. Staying nearby and made a few more finds. Thanks
Today was my one full day in Port Lincoln, so I headed to the Lincoln National Park. I've been caching here before (in 2007) and enjoyed the scenery so it was a good chance to revisit and pickup a whole lot of new caches. Found after a few minutes of searching. The lid of the tin has completely rusted all round the edge and now just sits on top of the contents.
My thanks to wheres wolly for the cache.

Container is far from water tight but a good hide container. Might need to put a container inside this container for water ingress reasons.

Camping nearby at Fisherman's Point..Excellent weather, time to collect some smileys..tftc
Reasonably quick find. Unfortunately the cache has come to the end of its life expectancy, as the bottom fell out while retrieving. As this was an unplanned trip, I had no replacements with us. TFTC.
Your cache was visited by Team Mattycat, including Purrfect Di, Sebastbat, Jack, and young muggle Alex.
Continued a walk down from Donny, and found a nice big tin full of animals.
Signed and moved on fro the next !

Unfortunately I hadn't an animal with me..I should have taken the crocodile from another cache in the Flinders..bagga. But thanks for this lovely idea
TFTC Thank you for going to the effort of hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
Hi there wheres wolly.
We found your cache **"Animal Cache"** at 12:16:00 PM today. (This makes our find count 15745).
We enjoyed our trip around the Lincoln National Park today. (We came prepared with some cache maintenance gear, but it wasn't needed very often).
On our journey we found a wide variety of container types. We ended up finding 16 caches with 0 DNF's today. Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Camping just near here. Great spot. Went for a mtb ride and picked up a few caches on the way.
Day Eleven of the WA road trip with BettyBoo3747. Today we wandered around the Lincoln National Park, checking out all the little camping spots, beaches, and of course, caches.
We parked at the end of the road and walked down to this and the next cache.
BB had her hands on it before I even got to GZ!
Thanks, Robmc.

# 7802. Robmc and I are spending the day in the National Park today and we intend to find some caches, go for a bike ride and a return walk to Spalding Cove.
Wow, this was one amazing log book. The extremely large container was very well-camouflaged in its simple hiding place. Discovered it very quickly whilst Rob was taking photos nearby. The tin itself is starting to deteriorate but the contents are fine.
Thanks wheres wolly

I was enjoying a stroll around the area and found a good lookout platform to view the seascape from
I couldn't see the cache from there !!
And after 20 minutes of looking and a full can of 'fizzy cola' drunk, I finally found the well concealed tin

Thanks for placing caches in Lincoln national park god us to find. Careful of the squid jig in the cache.
Good one for the kids, took a few animals and replaced with some different ones, thanks for the cache
This took a while but just as we had given up I saw a gleam on metal and finally found it. Cache in good order. Tft
Wonderful location. Nearly gave up on this cache but eventually found it on the ground under a large bush. It is in a dark painted tin and very tricky to find. Great spot.
6477. [green]We had to skip the sunny cache as there was a car right there. We kept going and came to this one. Where we parked we had to walk through a camp but didn't disturb anyone. So tempted to hit the beach - but there's cache to find. [/green]
[blue]Thanks for the cache wheres wolly and the crackers. [/blue]

The only live animals we have seen in this area today are lizards and an emu - but plenty of animals in the cache. We left a kangaroo and a klem bear and took a horse. Lovely quiet and scenic area. Thanks for bringing us to this spot wheres wolly.
#2010 Found on Day 5 of our Eyre Escape with DazzPete. Another great spot to be brought to on our visit in the area. This took a little bit to locate but thankfully the keen eyes of GeoP spotted the cache. Our thanks to where's Wolly, we didn't have time to utilize the nearby seat as we were off on a short walk to Sit & Listen.
A short search on Day Five of our Eyre Escape 2011 a short search before geoP made the find. If that's knee high then I wouldn't want to meet the owner of the knee.

Found at 1.45am GAFF1 in the company of the owner. What a great beach - for the first time we saw some surf in SA!!! We were told that this was a great fishing beach for salmon and also for kangaroos that flatten wolly cachers!
Thanks wheres wolly.
Thanks wheres wolly.
Found it safely nestled in it's spot, found it while camping in the national park for the Easter weekend TFTC
Yep definately an 'Animal Cache', there was one lovely, lonely Kanga guarding the cache (the only one seen today)
Took a few minutes to find this one safely nestled away in the bushes, signed log and left a pathtag.
