I wanted to get some caches and earthlight and x-trailers had agreed to come hunting wth me after work
This cache had us all over the place as neither the GPSr or the mobile phone would give us consistent distances: is it here or there or there? [?]
In fact, we ended up searching an area that was rather large.... it is interesting how the mind goes to certain objects first and is determined that the cache is there when, in fact, it is almost 50m away!
Thanks to previous logs and the hints contained within them... we finally managed to locus cache but I would have hated to have been FTF here without the assistance of other finders' logs!

Yet another fantastic Squeaky hide! Like others, the trees had my GPSr a good 10 metres off but after a thorough inspection of some trees, the logs provided a hint, sending me in the opposite direction of my original hunt. After that, it was a quick find and sign while enjoying the park! TFTC Squeaky!
The gps would not settle down for this one.(Trees and cloud cover.)
And I was not thinking straight as wel, l so this one took far too long but I got there in the end.

Large assault on the Sneaky Caches today.
This is one of seven successes today.
Just to annoy the people that DNF'ed this, I walked staright up to this. Second cache ever that I can claim that it was in the first place I looked.
My DNF several weeks ago was way off as my GPS had me in a completely different location.

Gotcha!
Failed on two previous visits. But after some reassurance that I was looking in the right place, and even looking for the right sort of cache, I returned today and walked straight up to it. How on earth did I not find that last time, or the time before that??
Thanks Sneaky
Fail!
Too sneaky for me this time.
And I came here with such confidence after finding another SneakySqueaky cache with more stars just minutes before!

It took Four inquisitive kids and their mums to get this one.. Good hide but sorry no log recorded as no pen on us... Maybe the next finder could write us up...
We had searched for this one before with no success but after having read the logs decided to have another look. The clues helped and VJ187 and I soon located the cache. This would have to be one of my favourites. TFTC
The ways of SS are well known to the Tiger now and this was found without to mch trouble, apart from the GPSr telling me it was 10m away. TFTC SS.

Needed a find today to fill in a hole in our caching calendar. Satloc was very flaky and the GPSr kept sending me 10m one way then 10m back the other way. Lots of little hidey holes but then I remembered some information I was given about Sneaky hides ages ago and the next thing I had a cache. Good hide.
This park is well known to me. Spent many an hour here as a child particularly at the pool.

Brucie had the opportunity to go our with Moneydork this evening and managed to find this cache not too far from where the caravan is currently parked. It proved to be a mild evening and relatively quiet on the roads, perfect to get caches closer to the city.

found while the kids ran off to play in the park . I use to spend time here many yrs ago as a child. fond memories, brillant cache.
Found by Mary & David at 1515. Missed it on the first pass as we were looking from the wrong angle. Second time around we spotted something different - ah there it is! Our indicated GZ was out on the grass, but not too far away. Our thanks to SneakySqueaky.

Found it - second time. Out this way without the kids this time and found the sneaky hiding place. Obviously a bit of effort has gone into this one. TFTC
Tried this in the dark a while ago, coupled with the GPS jumping all over the place we didn't have a hope. The hardest thing about this one was avoiding the attention of the nearby muggles. By the looks of it, this cache has been visited by people who came straight from Secret Garden #3. We went straight for that trick first also. TFTC
Perhaps it helps knowing a little about the devious mind that dreams up these hides. I decided to take a different route home from singing lessons tonight and it has opened up a whole block of unfound caches for me Kingsington-Portrush-Greenhill-Glynburn ... the only problem is its squeaky-territory, so it may take some time to fill it with smileys.
Just targeted one cache tonight.[:o] Picked "time after time" as I suspected that Thomas the Tank would be a world of pain - a needle in a haystack , and it was only a small deviation off the path home.
No muggles for me at 7pm and it was quickly located ... amazingly it was the smallest of details that I spotted very quickly... and I doubted myself for a moment when it did not come to hand quickly. Lovely job... I suspect a cupboard/cabinet somewhere is short 1 item , hope they do not notice it at the next stocktake!!! LOL

Searched around GZ but couldn't find it. Boys were tired after walking around the park - could have also been due to the slippery dips and flying fox too Gave up and will come back another day.
#988 Visiting from Melbourne and doing some caching while here. Yes, very sneaky squeaky! Had the light bulb moment while approaching GZ and reading the cache page and yes, that was it! Thanks squeaky72, well done.

Had to laugh at this one as, while I was in the car working out what was to be my final cache for today, the song "Time After Time" came on the radio. I took this as an omen and went of to find what seemed like a very popular cache. I now know why. Like everyone else, some sitting and thinking was required, and then I saw something that didn't look quite right. Lo and behold there was a very well hidden cache. Thanks for all the effort in this one - a definite favourite from me!
Even with the muggles around today, we were able to (stealthily) make our find (fortunately they were some distance away) [8)].
GPS had is somewhere else at first, but it didn't take long to find the right spot .

Thanks for one more Squeaky72.

Parked roadside and really enjoyed the walk through this beautiful park. Once at GZ, there were a few likely places the cache could have been, and after 5 mins of solid searching, the fantastically hidden cache was found. Whilst I've seen plenty of this type of hide before, I think this is the most well executed one I've seen. Very well disguised.

Found with Margie24 and Dinosaur Diva 632! This was an awesome cache and thankyou Squeaky72 for your help!
Took 3 visits here to find a time when GZ wasn't muggle central. Actually, the first two times when we did a quick look when there were muggles everywhere our GPS actually had us quite distance away and we were looking at the completely wrong spot. We went back there today and started looking there again then noticed that GZ was actually somewhere different. At the correct GZ the impressive hide was soon found. Was actually surprised that this one slipped through given its proximity to another cache.

Log is still soggy and still full. Needs new sheet of paper to replace current sludgy pieces.
Well today was much better than last attempt (which I may not have logged). A few recent logs helped quite a bit. There was a lot of activity from the local branch of DWIMA (dog walking interfering muggle association) as I approached the area, and I suspect I may have trodden in something that no-one wanted to own up to. Definitely suspicious smells in the area.
Very clever hide, possibly the thinnest I have come across yet.
Finding this one is giving me hope I'll round up some more of these sneaky squeaky hides.

Have just arrived home from our holiday to S.A. and an event up in Bundaberg, Qld, so sorry for the late log. What a beautiful park. Our granddaughter was on holiday down here with us and we brought her to the park. Someone had left bread on the grass and so we let her feed the ducks. (I know, they are probably best left to their own devices, but the bread was left on the grass anyway.) Found the cache and once again we were amazed at the ingenuity of you squeaky72. This was yet another great sneaky squeaky cache. Added our signature to the already discussed, and already replaced, wet log. Thanks for another great hide.
Beautiful park!
there was a family having a BBQ close by and the smell was teasing me at dusk while I searched up the hill a bit, poked my phone torch in a few holes but regretted it... again today! Ewwwww!!!!
Ok, read the logs and realized it was further back the way I had come a bit. Similar to another Squeaky, you'd think I'd learn by now that Squeaky doesn't DO holes in trees! Grrr. Found and signed. The kids LOVED the giant hollow tree nearby!

Cache is about 15 paces from gps coords (which were very shaky today) and log is drenched. Sneaky, this was sneaky!
In other news, i muggled badly, although not near the cache. Seeing a guy my age sitti ng on a kog with a phone in his hand, looking around, i drew the wrong conclusion. Oops! A few embarrasing moments kater, we might have a new cacher.

Visiting Australia from Chicago. Out caching with my new fun and slightly crazy Aussie caching friends, team honeysucker and team froghoppin. They were taking me to find some of Adelaide's finest caches. Great little hide. Loved the idea!! TFTC
A quick find for once. I'd visited this site once before but a combination of muggles and a dodgy GZ gven by the GPSr meant a quick, unsuccessful search of the wrong spot.
Today there were no muggles, but the GPSr still wanted me to search some distance away.
Thanks for an interesting hide squeaky.

This cache came up on the radar during my regular Monday night random cache hunt through the eastern suburbs.
When I read it was a ‘Squeaky’ I estimated my chances of finding it in pitch black conditions were pretty remote. Then again, I do like a challenge.
The first challenge was to get close as I was parked on the wrong side of the creek and with no bridge to be seen (at least not in the dark) I had no choice but too rock hop across.
At GZ luck must have been on my side as it took literally thirty seconds to find the cache (it helps to have found another 'Sneaky' before). The log was signed and purring like a Cheshire cat I drove off again in search of the next random cache.
PS log book is quite damp and now completely full – Time for a replacement

Muggle picnicers everywhere .... but i managed to retrieve and sign while supposedly having a conversation on the phone. Clever hide as my first thought had been towards the many holes in the things growing nearby. Thanks squeaky for a challenging hide in a busy spot!!
GPS had me a little way off, but really there were only a couple of places nearby that it could be, and hints from previous logs helped put me at the right one. Even then I had to inspect everything closely before finding the cache. Another truly amazing job on the camouflage Squeaky!

In the park for a 5y.o birthday party so took a wander. Sat and watched a Renaissance Fair with Knights duelling in front of a Baroness while the GPSr tried to get a good sat lock. Never got a good lock and I was getting bounced all over the place. A quick reread of the cache notes and GZ and the cache was quickly spotted - and there I was thinking I'd need to ring the Astro help line, but I guess he'd probably just tell me to look to the Heavens and search for stars.

We really enjoyed this part of the park, we stayed and enjoyed the shade while we watched the magpies playing in the sprinklers!
As mentioned in previous logs, our GZ was about 15m NE of where we found the cache.
It was a tricky hide, but we were soon on to it.

The GPS indicated a GZ between a number of features.
Like Mrs A (Allchin) I resorted to witchcraft, which feature do I select.
In the end the find was easy as I was expecting this type of hide.

Quick find at picnic lunch time. Another terrific hide which would have taken longer if not for the recently found end of the road.
Possibly the cleverest hide we've done in a long while. TFTC! Incidentally, our coordinates were pretty close to accurate.
No luck a few days ago but after a couple of sleeps I thought I had an idea where it would be. 15 minutes the first time, 15 seconds this time. I even have the same stuff to make a cache of my own! What was I thinking?
I was in exactly the same spot for GZ as previously, so I ignored the co-ords today. I think the co-ords are out by roughly 10m NE of the real GZ, which didn't help the first time either. The trees make the GPS jump around a bit too. TNLNSL. TFTC and the sleepless nights, squeaky72.

On a really hot morning we headed down to the park to find the new cache. ( I was working yesterday when SXC got a joint FTF with the Frog) On approach to GZ we saw a muggle near GZ.... oh no..... oh yes it was a cacher!! We met Astro who had just found the cache. I was left to find the cache, after reading the cache description I had a fair idea where it would be near. But the hide was much different to what I thought. Clever hiding spot!!

Silver to Allchin at 15:30!
The elderly are advised to stay indoors in hot weather. Good advice but there are exceptions, for example, when a new cache comes up close to home base!
Arrived at GZ to see a couple of familiar faces returning to their vehicle after logging their joint FTF.
After some hunting we grabbed and signed the well-concealed log.
Thanks squeaky72 for the cache.
Through a bit of luck and Mrs. A’s incredible powers of deduction (some would say witchcraft), we later met with the enthusiastic owner of the cache and had an enjoyable discussion on the joys of caching.
Hope to see more from you soon squeaky!

It's always fun when you arrive at GZ to see someone acting suspiciously, and wonder if you have a chance to play pesky muggle and make them nervous. No chance for that today, the Tardis Trio pegged us for cachers the minute they spotted us and even figured out who we were!
And so began an extended search. We knew we were looking for something clever, and from previous "unknown" cache sizes we even had some ideas about what sort of hide it would be, one of which turned out to be correct, but we were completely ignoring that! GZ had us about 10m away, and then the GPS just went crazy, updating every few seconds - 10m away, 120m away, 80m away, 10m away. Well we were never going to get anywhere with that. So we called upon the frog who managed to lead us up the garden path a bit, before helping us out. In the meantime Ms Wibble and Ms Tardis and mini Tardis checked out a nearby Koala that some dog walker alerted us to - in a very non-koala tree!
Sneaky hide, we've seen ones like this before but this one just blends in so well.
Nice to meet the time travellers and have some company while we were searching in the heat. Lucky we found it when we did, as we were supposed to be on our way to pick up some stuff from a friend who is moving house near to us, so we didn't keep her waiting TOO long.... and headed out this evening looking for a cache, and came home with a rabbit, a possum, and a salamander in our car. They weren't swaps though!
