This one is definitely gone. We searched high and low, in and out and it is no where to be found. Needs a maintenance check by the CO.
Although we searched everywhere all we found was trash in the hidey hole so we removed all that but it is definitely not here.
Nice quick find once I found a spot to park the car without the risk of getting bogged in the soft edges. Not a part of the town I usually pass through so once again a cache has me in new territory.TFTC
out for a day with Brisal5 and Aussie M&M
Being this was not the original container the hide was easily found

This was definitely not here last time I checked, ahh, a replacement cache from Locus Cache, much easier than whatever wasn't here last time.
Day 36 in a row for 31 days of caching in August. Today was out with Aussie M&M., Honeysucker and his faithfull hound Max. Back to this DNF again because of all the recent finds. Started examining the likely hides when Mrs. M pulls out a standard micro cache container. That wasn't there before. Oh a replacement cache! A find is a find - so logging it. Thanks imhingsa and locus for replacement.
Quick find today once there was a break in the muggle traffic, nothing around until you need to find a cache must be a new law of Murphy's TFTC
Had a good look for the old hide but does seem to be missing! Very sad
Found replacement cache and signed log.

Today was the last of our short trip over from Vic, so bogonghazy and I were keen to clean up round Victor Harbor as much as possible before heading off for the journey home to Ballarat. This one was found, logged and returned in quick time, which was exactly what we were hoping for today. Thanks to imhidingsa for the cache.
Found with Sully1 on our last day in Victor Harbour enroute to Ballarat today.
This was a terrific trip with great weather and friendly welcoming cachers to meet and greet.
A huge variety of hides had us on our toes, and a huge thanks to all the local cachers who provided the fun for us. Thanks imhidingsa

This was only about 3 minutes walk from our motel on the corner. The Strathalbyn Motel allows dogs in their two pet friendly rooms. A quick find and thanx for the replacement.
Was here in 2011, but couldn't find the cache for the life of me, though I was going crazy.
Because the cache has now been replaced it took no time at all, just the walk from the car to gz.
Cheers lotus cache for the replacement and imhidingsa for the hide.

Have been here several times without success so with Locus cache have put a replacement cache.
Too good a spot not to have here.
Took trackables to visit.

Someone at the Farewell tea for mogni brought up about doing the TDF series and tentative plans were made to do it today..... however due to the high temperatures (44degrees yesterday) earthlight suggested going down south and so here we ended up.
Although we didn't get very far south LOL as we only made it to Macclesfield for lunch at 2pm (and the edge of Strathalbyn about 8pm and definitely not Victor Harbor) but by the end of the day, we had managed to successfully locus cache on 39 caches and I also placed a new one
We even managed to get a 4star terrain cache which surprised us but luckily it didn't beat us as we had the magic geotool
Considering that this had not been found sinmce May 2012 and the last half a dozen or so geocachers were all DNF's, we decided to do some cache maintenance to assist other people to obtain the smiley here
New log and micro container left at GZ.... well, nearby and where we, and most other geocachers, started looking anyway !

Three of us had a good look and going by the previous logs from nearly the last year, I'd say its gone.
Locus & Earthlight performed maintenance!
This cache has been unloved for far too long and another cacher has not heard anything from cache owner in over six months, so we've helped out cache owner by replacing the cache. !
The cache is now a small white pill bottle.
Same coordinates!
Happy caching!

Had a thorough 3 adult 4 kid search - not found. Perhaps this is a three star cache.
My first attempt at this one, thought I had looked in every possible place but kept on being interupted by a car driving past. I think saturdays are not a good idea for this one. Cheers imhindingsa.
A Team attack on the clever hides of imhingsa and others at Strath. Not a good start with a DNF after a good twenty minutes. Thought we'd do some others before taking on this one again.
Spent at least half an hour here with earthlight......dont like giving up....BUT...!!!!!! its a DNF for us ...will be back... clever one imhidingsa
Not sure what I was looking for here, however I did eventually worked it out! Vice nice hide, well done.
Thanks
Thanks
Had us tricked until we visited another cache by the same owner. Clever hide TFTC
Clever hide, have done a few that were allmost the same but this had me scratching my head untill geowife spotted the difference. must give a fav.
We'd visited this spot a total of three times in the last week. We'd tried every ____ knowing what the cache was but none were. Mrs C noticed a _ _ _ _ was town the hole but our adult arms wouldn't fit. Mrs C's Mum has had both of her knees replaced and has a handy reachy claw thing which we took with us and sure enough the fallen thing was the cache! We were so excited but its log book was missing so we replaced it in its proper spot and put in a new log. TFTC.
easy find on my way home from watching the Melb cup with friends,i love these ones. tftc.
Enjoy.....
Enjoy.....
Whoops to me. Dropped the log down a very big hole. My bad. Replaced log. Cheers!
Looked all over in every nook and granny but missed this one.
Couldn't sleep so went back in the morning with a fresh head. Got It!

Yay! An easy , well quick anyway, find to geoD. Sometimes you have your eyes on, sometimes you don't.

Another clever cache which had me looking for a while. Log is a bit awkward to replace but very clever.
At this stage I had no idea that theses types of hides had been giving Astro grief. I knew all about it by the end of this trip though. Meanwhile I completed multiple laps of the said roundabout, growing steadily dizzier.

Found while feathertop safely looped the round about. Tomtom may have been going crazy. I think my heart missed a beat! Clear skies.
Easy find this time around as we found similar one yesterday. TFTC

Spotted straight away, primed with the success on a previous similar hide. Thanks for the cache imhidingsa!
10/10
Found by D, eventually!
Removed and replaced container while looking for it. Only realised after several minutes and B1 noticing spilled contents.
(That comment will make sense after you have found it.)
Again, well done imhidingsa!

Out for the afternoon on a quest to make 5000 finds by next Saturday. Started at Kanantoo and headed through to Strathalbyn. Found 27 for the day - only 9 to go now.
Have seen another one of these nearby. TFTC.

These hiding spots are just getting better each time. Good work! Just a tad tricky to keep secretive as muggles drive by regularly.
Great hide! Should have persisted with original idea.... after a short time looking nearby, returned to first spot to find the cache! TFTC!
Sussed the hide fairly quickly, but have you checked out the footpath around here [?].
Talk about going around the world to get to the other side !
TNLNSL (log is totally full).
Thanks I'mHidingSA.

Should have just trusted my instinct and persisted. Played with the container three times before getting to discovering it. Never seen this container with this configuration before thanks.
Wandered by this one a little while back only to find the GZ covered in scouts on bikes. Today it was a very different matter with no one near the GZ. A quick find as i was sure what i needed to look for having done a similar cache just out of Strath!! Thanks imhidingsa for another great one!!
Surprisingly many vehicles passing this spot. Previous log gave me the clue for locating the cache. TFTC.
Very Clever Hide TFTC SL .....Log is rather small though running out of room...but i liked it...
From the name of the cache we thought we had a fair idea of where the cache would be. Not too much traffic which allowed us to inspect likely spots. Mr S soon had it in his hand.
Thanks for an afternoon of caching imhidingsa. Think we are tuning into your hides.

Very clever hide. There is a similar hide the other side of Strathalbyn. Not much traffic so felt pretty safe. Thanks imhidingssa for the cache.

As we approached GZ we spotted a young couple approaching from another direction and looking at something in their hand!
It turned out to be The Rat and Llama team and it was great to join them in the hunt, and be able to congratulate them on their first FTF at 15:00.
SL
Thanks imhidingsa for another challenging cache.
(PS. Didn't spot the owner 'just checking!)
