Very clever concealment, no longer hanging, but safe in its hiding place. I am watching the clock, as the gates close at 7 pm, and I really don't want to be trapped on the wrong side. Love these trees, and the hide
Making room for all the new caches that get published during work hours when I can't go out for them.
Part of my "Wauckland" caching sojourn.
I ended up in this area today without a vehicle by chance and so have to make my way back to central city by foot or other means of transport.
What better excuse do I need to cache my way back...
Nice and fast. Just the way I like them

Found it with Team FIN [janahola, kapeka, laalaa & temyllyl]
We had fun with caching few weeks here in New Zealand. Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was pretty good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and really scenary country!
Greetings from Finland

First day in New Zealand, and caching our way to motel. Logged using our group nickname FIN with janahola, laalaa and kapeka.
On a geoholiday road tripping to Christchurch MEGA and around beautiful New Zealand. Our four people group (temyllyl, laalaa, kapeka and myself) from Finland used group tag FIN to log the caches.
Welcome to MEGA Finland in 5-7 august 2016!
We had some time before heading to our event so we desided to find few of these trail caches. TFTC!

#16 on our blustery biking best cache day ever. Grabbed these last few on our loop back to the car park. TFTC.
We were following the path and then I realised I'd need to run to the other side of the road for this find. There was a car parked next to the tree with someone sleeping inside. Quietly I started my search on the other side of the thankfully large tree. There it is! Now to sign and to run back to my family.
Another nice quick find. Pleased to be back in Auckland picking up a few more of this series.

In town for a few days for a concert and a weekend away so decided to get some caching in as well. Thought that a power trail was worth a go so decided on this on seeing as it was close to where I was staying! Great and enjoyable trail! TFTC
Out for an afternoon Geocaching with the aim to break our daily record of 15. Find No. 14.
2 CP batteries drained. 1 to go.

A quick park and grab on the first day of my NZ cache tour. Visiting form Sydney. TFTC
I had business meetings up in Devenport for the last several days and now it's time to go home. I planned an extra day to get in some additional geocaching in before hoping back on the plane to the US (Philadelphia)... I want to boost my NZ numbers (at the moment, it is the foreign country in which I have the most finds. This was a great little trail to increase my numbers. Found this one easily. Thanks for the fun! Time to head back to the hotel. Maybe more tomorrow.
Today it´s our last day in New Zealand. We had a wonderful time in this wonderful country! Three weeks are much to short to see everything, but what we have seen was very very nice !!! Our last hotel is near the airport, so we can start for a afternoonwalk to catch some caches nearby! Together with silto we found twenty caches and made a nice trip round the small lake.
Just flew in from Perth Western Australia and landed to early to check in to our accommodation so we decided to grab a few caches to kill time . We manage to find 31 and all were found quite easily.

Tomorrow we will fligh back to Germany and we booked a hotel nearby the airport. From there we made a walk to this powertrail where Athosandros and I found several caches.
I'd found some of this series on a previous visit so was in the area and stopped to pick up a couple more. The log books was full but I managed to squeeze my name in there.
We took on the MWTP series today. Due to the number and similarities of the caches I will split into 2 logs to cover the lot. Island Rd caches. Liked the first one (#5) on this road – spotted from some distance away as soon as we got out of the car. The caches got progressively stinkier as we made our way along the road. It was a warm and humid day and the smell seemed to hang around. It started spitting & we thought that might lessen the smell. We were wrong. OK need to get through these quickly then. Lots of midgies around today. All good until we got to the final one & Mrs beconaze was trapped in the car due to an aggressive and populous swarm of midgies (see pic). We pulled up next to the cache and spotted it from the car so Mr beconaze could make a dash and retrieve, sign and replace. Almost finished the series, we just had to dash back and grab #7
After distracting my father with a different cache I ran off to find this one while he got his shoes on
Took quite some time to find a nearby cache. Once I know what to look for this one was easy. TFTC
Had our eye on this trail for a while, and having not cache much around this area decided to give it a go. After headed up Mangere Mountain, we managed to get all but 3 of this series. Thanks fmz
Fortunately no-one around on this summer evening, so made a quick find, and moved on. First in the series for me, TFTS
After returning our camper van, we went for a walk to collect a few caches...

Thanks to all the cache hiders.

Okay, came back out checking thing out and got a string using the geomobile. TFTC!
Had to drop Middle Junior off at the airport at some unearthly hour so had an hour or two to kill before having to be back in town. Just enough time to pick up a few caches (some MWTP ones and a half dozen stinky jobs too).
We decided to bring up our numbers today. We looked at the map, we took our bikes and out we went. We picked up all from 1 to 20 except for 16 which we had to sign off on the way back when the "honey mooners" had left. Thanks for the power track.
Found as part of the family - "find 28 caches in one day and get to 400". This part was done in car, though when the kids are older certainly need to do some cycling around here.
What a convenient series starting just outside our hotel. How could we refuse such a series? Our finds were limited only by the need to get back to the hotel for the event. TFTC, SL, TNLN
Very few muggles about today whilst out and about with MisterAnthony made for some very easy retrievals on this lovely walk. Plenty of birdlife about though, enjoying the peace and quiet even if it was a little drizzely. TFTC
This obviously marks the really popular bit of the trail as many of the logs from here are getting really full, need to be replaced very soon.

Quickly found and retrieved, few muggle workers about so loitered on the phone while Dean signed tftc
While searching in the dark for the all these cache, not one vehicle drove past, so I had the whole area to myself. (log continued in #10)
This was our 1st day of caching in Auckland. This series was just around the corner from where we picked up our motor home. So what better place to start our caching tour. Well to think about it , there are so many more scenic & sweet smelling places.
All the caches we found were in good condition .
Thanks for placing this cache funkymunkyzone

Despite the slight ordure in the air Dottie and I enjoyed the drive and the walk we did to grab this series.
Many of the logs are full, some of the caches have additional bits of paper being used as spare logs but these are crowding the cache somewhat and causing the logs additional damage.
Took binoculars and watched some of the local avian residents.
Thanks for setting the series.

With a few hours to spare before my flight back to Christchurch, this series was the obvious way to fill in the time. This one took a bit of time to find in the fading light, but got there in the end. TFTC.
