We spent some time here today. without success. As previous logs have said, the area around GZ is now a featureless bare patch of dirt.
This cache hasn't been found for quite some time and the CO hasn't accessed the Groundspeak site since Monday, April 08, 2013 so we figure they aren't active any longer.
Could a reviewer please temporarily disable the cache pending a response from the cache owner?

GZ is now a bare patch of dirt. I suspect the nearby construction site might have cleaned it up...
With a little daylight after work rounded up a couple of caches, nicely hidden TFTC
We had been to drop something to get fixed and this was the ideal time to grab a few caches while in town. While we were here we meet up with Honeysucker and had a great chinwag and went on to more caches together. Thanx for the easy cache missyhere.
Quick pick up while having an overnight stay in Port Augusta on the way home from Coober Pedy. TFTC
This was our one big day of caching in the region.
We have visited many great spots, seaside locations, town high lights & back country roads.
This was one of the many caches we found.

After spending the weekend 4WDing at the Argadells, it was time to head home sort of . The temperature was around 41C and there were strong winds but I had airconditioning and plenty of water so lets go caching. Spent the day caching Pt Augusta and Pt Pirie but had to give up once the thunderstorms hit.
A quick find and sign - good to see it here this time. TFTC.

Found this cache at 11:35am while in Port Augusta for a vintage car rally and doing some caching as we get some free time. Love the smell of pepercorn trees. Nice hide.

We had a TB that wanted to go West so we were looking for somewhere to drop it off before we headed North. This was one of the few caches listed as a regular so we choofed off to it. Doh!! didn't realise that this was now a small small container and our TB didn't fit.

A nice and warm day to do caching around Port Augusta today...took us ages before Mr Bushies2 finally found it...well hidden...took 2 trackables, the other 2 trackables weren't in the cache. Thanks missyhere.
This one definately took longer than expected. Had been told about this one previously so thought we'd have alook. Fluff had dug around a bit and must have moved it before Melon jumped in and found the little bugger.
Sorry but no cache for me today. For a 1.5 difficulty it didn't seem like it. I didn't find this one the last time I was here either so this is becoming one of those Nemesis caches.
Cheers from the Posspet Boys

We had prepared the cache information for our trip many months ago. Since then the coordinates for this cache had been changed. So, when we went to what we thought was GZ we "struck out". A quick check, the updated coordinates and a quick find was then made. TFTC missyhere
These trees must have been bred by a cacher. So many spots for a hide.
Thanks missyhere

Football or caching??? Caching won but would have been great to stay and watch the local game. A quick find under the scrutiny of the gateman. Left Beetles peg. TN. Thanks.
I went out for fuel and came home smelling of pepper. The location has changed since my last visit.
I was surprised how many possible hidey-holes there were at GZ – most of which I checked before finding the cache!
Thanks missyhere.
Thanks missyhere.
Nice quick find. Took the TB. Cheers and happy caching.

Found with two of the littlest Frankos4 on a school holiday energy busting mission! Cheers! Found TB inside but will leave this one there for now.
What can you say but nice park and quick find. Nice big caches are great. Clear skies.
We travel past this spot twice a week for the kids to footy training and karate. This is a good sporting hub for the Port Augusta kids and adults alike. T=Cars TB, L= Jeep TB TFTC SL.
Great hide, was an easy find but plenty of muggles driving past made extration a little difficult, luckily no one was playing tennis this morning. TNLS ( The-B-Team! playing card)TFTC
sorry thought we had logged this but we had not GREAT HIDE TFTH SL WHILE OLD LADY STAYED IN THE 4X4
Yep, it's still there all right. Such a great spot for a cache. Reading the previous comments I was worried it would be gone but there it was whispering to come find me... Happy to have found your first cache Missy, to add to your second.
Another day in the Port, another hour or two to spend caching. It took just a few minutes to discover your great little cache. Thanks Missyhere
We pulled up here today to find the car park empty, we did notice quite a few ladies entering the area and heading out the back some where, some sporting event we presume. This wasn't a problem at gz and the cache was found in the first place we looked. It did seem quite obvious but as it has been here for quite awhile people mustn't frequent this area often.
Thanks missyhere for the cache

Great cache, found it with Bowz2. Good way to finish my first day in the world of geocaching. TFTC.
Decided that this afternoon was to be an introduction to caching for Mags2 as her own Geocacher identity. [^]
So we went looking for a few local caches as a gentle intro. (This was # 4).
Was just on dark and we didn’t have a torch
So by the light of our Phone screens we managed to find easily, Good intro to caching and nice way to end the day with a happy “new” Cacher on board
However I hope the council doesn’t trim the tree as it might be a bit obvious!
Somewhere in This area Bowz2 was considering a Bowz2 "Alone or Lonely" cache as the nearby Braddock park oval was originally a cemetery!!
The cemetery out near the horse stables lists the names of those buried here...

Think about that the next time ya kicking the footy around!! [xx(]

Found this fairly quickly today as there was no sport being played today so not too many muggles around.
