This CITO at the conclusion of the Pre-Easter event surely reminded me of all the times I've been out camping as a Scout and doing the classic emu bob to clean up the campsite to leave it the way we'd found in on our arrival, or in even better condition than we had found it.
Everytime I turned around with my hands full there was someone with a black garbage bag. Thanks sully1 (Lisa) and bogonghazy (Phil) for being the organisers of this end of event activity, it's important to show that while some cachers may tear through the mud to get to caches hidden in the bush, we still do care for the way we leave the environment.
On the Monday morning, myself Princess Amy and Stick Kid also undertook our own CITO.

Thanks Lisa and Phil, grabbed a large plastic bag, checked the camp around the geo caches, no rubbish as one would expect, a clean bunch. So headed out the back of camp towards the bush. In no tome at all filled the bag, and also found an old roll of carpet. Great idea to end a great weekend. Hope to catcup again soon.

Attended by Roma and Max.
Thanks Lisa & Phil for organising this CITO, although from our observations the geocachers at this event were a very tidy group leaving little evidence of their presence.
Nice to catch up with you both as well.
Cheers,
from Romax.

We came, we cleaned, we left. Whata wonderful conclusion to another great weekend. We had to loo hard to find any mess, but did our bit. TFTH....SL
What a fantasic wrap up to a most fantastic event. (The PRE - Easter with the Central Victorian GeoCachers event, organised by tigersden.) Pathfinder 24 and I grabbed our rubbish bag and headed off to find some rubbish. Like a few others, we were concerned that the bags were going to take up more room that the rubbish, as there were so many hunters out there. To this end we emptied out rubbish in to a smaller bag we had in the car and I will save the big bag for a clean up at home. We managed to collect a small bag of rubbish together and I am sure the owners of the park appreciated everyone's effort to 'clean up before they cleared out'. Thanks for hosting this CITO event sully1
Well there was not much rubbish after the Pre easter Event so we walked around the caravan park and picked up what rubbish we could find.
This was great idea to close a very successful weekend and clean up any rubbish that was around. Could not find much near where the event was held but Yullaba and I widened our search and filled our bag before returning. Thanks sully1 for organizing the closing part of the weekend but a very important part and I am sure the park owners and patrons were impressed to see so many people running around with black rubbish bags. Thanks.
Last bit of business for the weekend, but with surprisingly little to do, it was a chance to have a few more chats to the other particiapnts while filling the bags..
Thanks sully1 for organising this event, I'm sure we'd all be welcome back to the park, unless of course we'd forgotten our pin for the boomgate............
Who was that again????

Thanks Lisa and Phil, we grabbed a bagya and joined in the Emu Parade. We were hard pressed to fill a quarter of a bag. The owners must be very happy.
Cheers and thanks for putting on the CITO [^]

After a well organized event which had to come to a end (sadly), it was now time to clean up and put some stuff away, which we did before the trip home.
Thanks to sully 1 and bogonghazy for organizing this clean up event.

We all assisted with the CITO following a weekend filled with fun and activities for all.
Didn't take long at all. Many hands make light work - but mostly because we were a very neat and tidy crew

Great to see so many teams doing their bit and working together to clean up the event site.

Attended today after a great day's caching around the country side with Bushfire. It was a goal of ours to collect as many different types of caches as possible today and this CITO event will make number 8. The weather was great and the location was ideal. Many thanks to all involved in helping out with the CITO event, thanks sully1.
Proud to be there along with so many other cachers who chipped in to do their bit after the terrific Pre Easter Event. A BIG Thankyou to all those who helped
out. Yes, our bags were maybe a little oversized, but better to be prepared. Special Thanks to yullaba and bushfire who even wandered down by the water and came back with their bag overflowing and a roll of carpet under their arms, which had been dumped. As some of the logs have already stated, the rubbish pretty well seemed to be "old" rubbish, not leftover from our group/event, so all in all the park had a great clean up, and I'm sure the owners are most grateful. Thanks again to everyone who attended, it's great to be involved with a group of people who are keen to do their bit for the environment. Cheers, Lisa

A great way to end a great event, although not much rubbish around the geo campsites, we had to extend our boundaries to fill our rubbish bags.
Great idea for the end of an event.. well done everyone.. My second CITO, and #1145th cache
Collected bag, and walked around the camp site and down to the boat ramp. Collected 3/4 of a bag. Filthy people.
Thanks for organising the CITO.

Saturday night at LouiseAnn's place we made a very last minute decision to come up to the PRE - Easter with the Central Victorian GeoCachers Event today. LousieAnn and I were both very, very, glad we did. We both had a fantastic afternoon, finding caches all around the area. We both thoroughly enjoyed spending the day wondering around the box ironbark bushland. Geocaching out in the bush is such a nice change to city caching, a lot less stress, no muggle, traffic, or GPS signal issues (well a lot less of all three anyway). This CITO cache was our twenty second cache find for the day, (first being the event itself). After the very impressive amount of awards had been all given out LouiseAnn and I grabbed a big black bag and headed off to clean the camp ground. However, with this many people chasing down rubbish everywhere it became a bit hard to fill up our huge bag. We ended up swapping to a smaller ‘safeway’ bag and saved the big bag for better duties. This CITO cache was our twenty second cache find for the day, (first being the event itself). Thanks for the CITO cache and the awesome event tigersden.

The least we could do for our hosts who were terrific. Tremendous hot showers every time!

I am sure we left the place cleaner than we found it - the park must be happy. TFTE.
Marty & David joined in. Geocachers are usually very tidy people, so there was very little rubbish to collect. Picked up some Xmas paper and we were almost rushing for that tiny piece of rubbish - is that a stone or a butt? Needless to say, with so many cachers darting about filling bags, the camp ground looked spick and span in no time. Thanks to sully1 & bogonghazy for making the necessary arrangements.
I bet the people who own the camp has never seen it this clean before. Lolz
thanks sully1
thanks sully1
Wahoooo! What a great event and was on hand to clean up afterwards. Picked up some chairs and did a small emu walk around where we camped. A new icon for me. TFTC sully1
A fitting end to a great weekend! There was hardly any rubbish to pick up, anywhere.
We'd done a little as we went on our caching way, of course, but it was great to see very little rubbish of any sort around the camping area.

Was pleased to assist in this event. Was also pleased to note that there wasn't a lot to be done which is a credit to all who stayed and took part in the event. Did find loads of lolly-pop sticks in the playground though- come on kids, find a bin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for organising an important part to any event. Well Done!
Grabbed the black bag off Sully and moved around the circumference of the registration area and playground and also the parking areas.
The teams were pretty clean anyway, but our team managed to add our bag to the large bin.Signed the book after we finished.

Us cachers are a pretty tidy bunch!! Rob did most of the cleaning up while I did a quick car pack before we had to hand the cabin key in. And Tilly of course was on the playground
Did my part to help, though the place was already quite clean!
Nice to see so many other teams again for a catchup.

Thanks to all the various teams that were involved in the organisation of the weekend. We had a great time. I have to say we were a tidy bunch, there wasn't much to pick up. Earthbound Max helped by emptying the cake container so it could be disposed of! Oops, forgot to sign his name and he was too busy eating cake...We had to remove Earthbound Nano from the playground so we could hit the road and yep, we did cache on the way home! Thanks again everyone.
With garbage bag in hand we scoured the ground and gathered the trash.
Thanks to all the teams that made a contribution to my collection.
See you all next time.

Would just like it known that it WASN'T me who forgot their Park Entrance Pin!!!!!! ...... LOL
Fairly last minute notice I know, but we only decided to come along today. See you in the afternoon
All being well we should be there, this will be our first CITO event, we are looking forward to it.
Thanks Sully1 for the event.
Thanks Sully1 for the event.
If all goes to plan count us in to build up an appetite before we head off to either Bendigo or Castlemaine for a meal at a pub.
What a great idea. We will be there to pitch in and clean up. Thanks for organising this important aspect.
Would love to attend my first chance at a CITO.
Thanks so much Sully1 for organising this important event,
I guess it's something we don't always endeavour to do while actually caching, so it's a great reminder.
