I had to drive to Royal Park to pick something up and so, since I was outside of my usual area and had nothing desperately urgent to do.... I figured a cache or two was a possibility
That possibility turned into 5 successful locus cache events and 1 unsuccessful locus cache event
I even found myself unexpectedly being 220m from MtnLioness' and so delivered her a small gift since she apparently likes them so much
Yes, I saw that there were about three previous DNF's but I figured it was worth a shot, although I know how good earthlight and The X-trailers are at searching!
I crawled into the yard (only way in today) and had a good search complete with gloves. Dug through the leaf litter all the way to the fence line and all around the tree at GZ but to no avail
I rang CO and was informed that even they can't find it when many others do, so this cache must really be eveil!
I gave up, conceeded that it just might really be gone and then crawled away fromn the site of my defeat with head held low (Again, if you saw how I had to get into the yard, you would understand!)

What are we missing.?
After searching on our knees and looking high and low was unable to locate anything but a couple of pairs of smelly undies and a nappy.
Will be back.
Caching today with earthlight we entered through an opening in fence as gates shut.

The area has recently been mown and tidied up...
Like the other DNFS
Found the undies etc but no cache...
Hmm... Three Cachers looking in two days with no success
perhaps its gone in the mower catcher or raked up with the weeds????

YAY... we got it, was great to rock up to this one with the gates open... I didn't want to have to use the bolt cutters as I have tried this one a few times and no one has been around..

Greetings from Tasmania
Found this cache while on a caching trip to Adelaide. Found some great caches while there including a 5 difficulty traditional (I'm a Bastard 2), a 4 terrain traditional (Tapleys Bird) and many great hides in great locations through out Adelaide. Thank you Adelaide cachers for planting so many good caches. My wife did ask me to pick a favourite, and I think Besser Block Mail Box would have to be it, by Tamam Shud, Zen and the Art of Geocache Maintenance and the two above would be up there as well.
I did manage to find 250+ caches in the 5 days I had caching in Adelaide, and would like to thank Astro and Freddo for taking me on a night cache on the first day and Astro for giving me a couple of hints on some that I was stuck with.
Let me apologies for the generic log, especially if I have found more than one of your caches.

Came over this way to check on one of our hides. Since we had the whole geo-family here, we decided to do a few caches while we were in the area.
The last time we cached in this area the place was closed. I think it was a public holiday or something. All good this time. Made a quick find and left a calling card. TFTC

Found ourselves nearby to this cache so what else to do but find it! Thanks MtnLioness
on the 4th try I finally went past when the gate wad open... tn left a city bowl award pin.
was there during the nominated hours but it was all locked up... perhaps the cache would be better on the outside of the property to give early morning and late night cachers a chance...
Found It!
Well what do ya know, this place does open sometimes!
About the 3rd or 4th go at this one and a wasn't going to let a few sports goers stop me from finding it now that I was inside!

On our rush to 2000 it was great to see the gates open for this one. Tftcsl 40 to go
I am always relieved when the nearby establishment knows about the cache.
Then I can go about my searching and logging thing with no stress.
Only a distant forklift driver about today.
Thanks MtnLioness

the gates arnt open during the day but the neighbouring business is so the cache was found with out any problem.
I didn't realise there are access times on this cache, till I was standing on wrong side of fence to gz! No matter, the neighbouring business'gates were open at 0720, so an easy find and sign,
TNLNSL Thanks

Arrived within timeframe but gates locked. Found GZ and spotted the cache but could not reach it! Dropped by the next day and walked in between arrival of game players to sign log and hid cache with a bit more cover. TFTC
Found it with vj187. It was a quiet day. The gates were open but noone was around despite it being school holidays. We were able to get it without any distractions. TFTC
The gates were open and there was a hive of activity at the local venue. Managed to park directly in front, remaining obscured from onlookers for a sneaky search. Thanks for the cache MtnLioness!
#995 Closing in on our 1,000th cache, picking up some while here in Adel from Melb (and filling in time while geowife goes shopping!!). Spent more time here than I thought what with arriving/leaving/passing muggles and me just not finding the cache for a while! Went back to the car to do the business there and keep out of sight. Thanks MtnLioness. TNLN
Great find for the geonephews! Took GCs to move on hopefully tonight or tomorrow! TFTC
ADE11-12. The venue was closed, but the neighboring business had a gate open so we could still access it. A fun place to find a cache. Thanks.

Hahaha, what's even funnier is that I was on the phone to her seconds before and after she questioned you, heehee, I told her to freak you out a little, heehee. You're the first cacher she's caught! Hahaha
After a short wait for the people in the car park to go inside, a quick find.

The idea of getting this cache has been bouncing around in my head for a while, tonight was ideal as this mornings weather kept me off my bike.
There was a lot of thwacking and boinging going on at GZ but nobody in the car park to trouble my caching efforts.
Thanks for the cache MtnLioness.

Sad little area, just needed a cache to cheer it up so I left some swaps! Nice to find another of yours MtnLioness. TN.
Silly me thinking a cache could be hidden somewhere near the foot path, instead after a quick call to a certain lioness realised I needed to broaden my search - TFTC, glad I could finally get up your end of town to at least do one of your caches - Ill be back for the rest sometime soon
Quick find. Always worrying about being seen by the sports people but quiet afternoon. TFTC
Have driven past a few times on the daily work route, but the evenings were always busy.
Finally tried early and with the next door business opening their gates, found I had a very quiet park and spot to search with no one around
Just used the clue and after checking a few spots finally found the cache.
Grabbed TB to move along, otherwise TNLN, TFTC MtnLioness
Cheers

We were early for this today, but one of the other business' had the gate open, so we drove on in [8]. According to the log book, we weren't the first today !

Called in early to have a look and the gate was open for the adjacent business, with no one else around made for a easy find, no bounces but hopped on our way TFTC
found it but will sign when i bring geo daughter back to try and find. super stealth and timing will be needed tftc.
I was in the area again, and cruised past for a look. This time there were only a handful of cars in the carpark, and no sounds of bouncing, thwacking or boinking from inside, just the gentle doof, doof of music. Good time to make a find I reckon!
TNLN - Thanks MtnLioness!

I didn't play any of the sports listed on the wall, but I did have my track pants on and had been to the physio. Does that count? No, didn't think so. Anyway found and signed. Thanks.
What a surprise to hear the TomTom bing as i drove past the street I grew up in! and to find a cache at the place I wasted many teenage hours - usually 5 nights a week from 4pm-11pm! Its also the place where England Test bowler Phil DeFreitas almost took my head off with a cricket ball off a 4 step run up!!!!!! Thanks for the cache and the memories!
Rolled up just as the sun was setting. Bus"R"us (backwards R) was full of kids but seems like one kid was missing. Wait Wait Wait.......Of course it was parked with in 10m of the cache. However I had cover and all was sweet.
I snapped a pic of that lovely old house there. Imagine this surrounded by fields in the old days. No thwacks then.
Clear skies.

Was out at the Training College for a meeting so grabbed a few caches on the way back into the city.
Didnt appear to be to much going on here today due to a lack of cars although one was on blocks. TFTC.

Found on the way to Football Park to see the Crows with Moses on the Move. A nice hide in an interesting spot! TFTC.
No cricket-playing muggles around in the early arvo. In fact, the place was deserted and closed up. A quick find by Mr O. TFTC MtnLioness.
Good hide spot - Lava12 found it before me. Signed the log. Thanks MtnLioness.
Found it nice and easy with Everlasting. No muggles to be seen. Phew!

Seven o'clock at night, and now that daylight savings is over, it's dark already. Probably a good time to try for this cache I thought, so I drove in and parked by the cache. Unfortunately, there was a steady stream of people coming and going, and when I got out to check the fenceline, it was clear that I stood out. So I sat in the car for ten minutes, waiting for a gap where I could zip out for an uninterrupted look. But as I was waiting, a ute pulled up a couple of spaces down, and a couple of cool dudes got out. I could tell they were cool because they wore caps while driving, and had a 500W subwoofer. They seemed popular among some of the locals, who wandered over to say hi, do fist bumps, and buy bags of leaves from the back of the ute. I think they must've been bay leaves, so they're obviously into cooking... into it a lot judging by the size of the bags. I briefly wondered if I should wander over and see how much their leaves were, but remembered I already had a pack of bay leaves at home, and didn't really need any more. I decided that sometimes it's just not worth it for the smiley, and got the hell out. I'd like to say I'll be back, but I think I'd be lying...

Found while on a night ride with the owner. Yes, muggles certainly around at all hours. Thanks for the fun night ride.
Woo Hoo FTF!
The message of a new cache bounced in just before knock off time and I decided to Thwack the small detour on the way home fully expecting to be pipped for FTF. The lid was boinged open with anticipation but the first page of the book was already signed....Turns out this was already signed before publishing by 'a person in the know'. TFTC MtnLioness.
Oh yes, I left a Garfield toy and took a beautiful coin. It looks like a geocoin but there is no tracking code on it!?

Muggles were a challenge when I arrived this afternoon. Not so much the visitors coming and going, but the guy unloading his van. It took me almost 1/2 hour to get an opportunity to access the cache and then replace it, but found quickly once I got the chance. A pleasant diversion on the way home from work. Thanks MtnLioness for the cache.
