Though I wanted to bring this one back I've decided to archive it. I hope to put a new one in the same area, but it's really not the same cache - replacing the same cache again is just asking for it to get wet and gross. Time to archive my first cache :/

07-Jan-13
Hello there,
I plan on replacing this cache though will have to move it about 20m to do so as this location has had major water problems even with a camping store assured waterproof container. I intend on doing so within the 30 days you mentioned. I am not quite decided on whether or not to archive it and create a new listing.

04-Oct-12
Cache presumed muggled. Will either replace or put a new one nearby soon

03-Oct-12
Grrrr if you remove the cache please temp disable it! I found the GZ but no cache…

10-Sep-12
Augh! Wet again >.< so much for the water resistant paper and more waterproof container. I'll look into scuba diving paper. Or replacement. Or something.

Greetings from Tasmania

Found this cache while on a caching trip to Adelaide. Found some great caches while there including a 5 difficulty traditional (I'm a Bastard 2), a 4 terrain traditional (Tapleys Bird) and many great hides in great locations through out Adelaide. Thank you Adelaide cachers for planting so many good caches. My wife did ask me to pick a favourite, and I think Besser Block Mail Box would have to be it, by Tamam Shud, Zen and the Art of Geocache Maintenance and the two above would be up there as well.

I did manage to find 250+ caches in the 5 days I had caching in Adelaide, and would like to thank Astro and Freddo for taking me on a night cache on the first day and Astro for giving me a couple of hints on some that I was stuck with.

Let me apologies for the generic log, especially if I have found more than one of your caches.

Cache was wet through. I replaced the log with a new one, but some maintenance is required.

Hi confusedcious!!

Been meaning to get this for some time! Dropped in tonight and was a quick find (thanks to the hint - just a matter of feeling around). Still damp in there. Double bagged the log and left a pathtag. TFTC

16-Jul-12
Easy find TFTC log is a bit damp

28-Jun-12
Great cache Very Happy

28-Jun-12
Everything was wet. The container and paper need to be replaced =(

03-Jun-12
Very wet cache, half full of water. Emptied water but didn't have anything to dry out contents. Great hiding spot

03-Jun-12
The McGeachie Family's first geocache find. Yeah!

02-Jun-12
Waterproof log roll does get damp... but also dries out quickly. All seems to be in order.

21-May-12
Re-enabling on advice from previous cachers. Thanks guys!

21-May-12
Monday morning all quiet. A quick find. Thanks confusedcious.

20-May-12
SXP and I found it and wrote on the paper with ease, just shake it out and give a wipe. The water proof paper won't stop it getting wet but will dry off quite quickly.TFTC, TMJ

20-May-12
Still there, as per TMJ comments

22-Apr-12
Obviously the waterproof paper I ordered wasn't as waterproof as I thought :/

Time to go seeking an alternate supplier for waterproof log paper

21-Apr-12
Needs new log! Tftf'

15-Apr-12
Easy find. Took deer and left nickel medallion! TFTC.

12-Apr-12

12-Apr-12
Found it

09-Apr-12
First time I have been here for 20 years or so.
Too early for tennis today at 0645.
Been meaning to stop since I saw this cache, as it is at a place named after a forebear of mine!
Unfortunately the cache has a common mis-spelling of the name, not sure if this is deliberate or not?
Log is very wet inside the baggy, although there is no water in the cache container, and was only just able to sign the logsheet.
TNLNSL
Thanks

Found OK but logbook very wet.

TFTC

05-Apr-12
GPS batteries failed near GZ. By the time I had that sorted the cache had been found and logged. TFTC

05-Apr-12
Quick find during our afternoon visit. Cheers Gav [10647]

31-Mar-12
Nice easy find. There was no trackable in side but is listed to have one. Was pretty wet inside container but every thing was still ok. Tftc

26-Mar-12
Found today in the company of muggle friends. Fairly quick find, but didn't attempt to open the container. It kind of resembled a specimen jar with all the water in it. Took photo as evidence. TFTC.

20-Mar-12
Quick easy find today

TFTC Very Happy

15-Mar-12
Found with 2011*turtle as another geocacher was retrieving it. TFTC

15-Mar-12
Met up with another group searching for this cache. It was lucky for vj187 and me as we were too vertically challenged to reach it. TFTC

14-Mar-12
Good quick find

04-Mar-12
Found half full of water but the log was dry, all quiet here on a Sunday morming TFTC

26-Feb-12
found this one in the dark of night with the geo-dog on a night caching run

25-Feb-12
No one around the GZ when we arrived mid morning on Saturday. A quick find. TNLNSL.

15-Feb-12
Yes.... height an advantage!

09-Feb-12
We went for this one in the afternoon, not a hope of getting anywhere with it, not people on the courts but the locals and their children all standing at GZ chatting. Back in the dead of night with the right tool and the cache was in hand, without which this would have been a no show for us. T 1 x TB LN TFTC

09-Feb-12
Visited in late afternoon and found it a meeting place for the neighborhood. Returned at night with the right tool and had the cache in hand. Thanks confusedcious

04-Feb-12
Cache replaced, nobody at the courts on a damp afternoon - new container should be more waterproof. Although I managed to save the old log (at least, most of it) I decided to replace it with one made of waterproof paper.

02-Feb-12
Muggled by tennis players Sad
I waited around for a while but with 15km to cycle home I had to give up. I left the cache with my parents who live nearby. If they are unable to place it tomorrow I'll have another go on sunday.
Dagnabbit.

02-Feb-12
Putting in a travel bug. I'm off to replace the cache right now. Will be an hour or so to get there on the deadly treadley.

22-Jan-12
Hi there,
I've had the replacement cache ready for a while now so hope to get down next weekend to fix it... ^.^;;

I'll be putting an emergency waterproof log in with the original just in case.

15-Nov-11
Came through this morning to be the last finder of this cache in its current state.
Quite a challenge for me to retrieve and good to see it off for a maintenance check.
Thanks confusedcious

15-Nov-11
I went through tonight as I was nearby - I've removed the cache and hope to replace it on the weekend. For whatever reason the seal on the cache has failed and the zip lock has disappeared. I'll replace it with what should be a more waterproof container.

15-Nov-11
Found the cache easily, but as it was soooo wet (probably should have read the logs), was unable to sign. Can give details if required...

TFTC confusedcious.

12-Nov-11
I'll make another maintenance attempt when I'm in the area tomorrow - depends on the muggle factor. Repeatedly muggle-blocked while trying to fix my own cache x.x

11-Nov-11
Reperio at 1850.

Certainly a great place for a hit, and for a cache, but unfortunately the log book was beyond signing due to being completely saturated. Due to the location of the cache, the next container will need to have a very good seal to stop the moisture building up from it's surroundings.

Gratias confusedcious.

11-Nov-11
Serious water damage.
My caching partner "rescued" the travel bug, but left nothing. (it's his first travel bug, go him!)

02-Nov-11
Found it full of water and the notebook was saturated.
Emptied water of course.

05-Oct-11
Quite a stretch for us shorties. Coords spot on.
The contents of the cache are damp but still manageable.
Thanks confusedcious for the cache.

01-Oct-11
After reading the previous logs, I thought our luck was in when it appeared no-one was about this morning. However, after retrieving the container, a gentleman dressed for tennis emerged from the nearby building to enquire what it was that I'd lost. Given we weren't going to be able to replace the cache without being closely observed, I opted for openness and provided an explanation on geocaching. He didn't seemed too bothered and went along with the game. Hopefully the cache is safe. Thanks confusedcious for the cache.

01-Oct-11
Found with e.gregory1. Quick find after speaking with a muggle. TFTC

25-Sep-11
Found as part of an afternoon caching with my BF sneekypeak.
Had to wait for muggles to disperse and nosey neighbour muggles to leave.
Thank goodness for sneekypeak's stool in the car, as we wouldn't have been able to reach cache otherwise.
Easy find, just need height.....
Log book was wet but we were still able to sign. TFTC Smile

25-Sep-11
Caching on a wonderful sunday arvy with me BF Snoopy_Lou. This was an easy find but we sat around for a while while we waited for muggle neighbours across the court and mugglers just walking the area, to be gone. Book was wet but still able to sign log. Great little hidey spot, Lucky i had a stool in the car to help me get up there! TFTC

20-Sep-11
As we were staying nearby this was a great cache to do. With thanks to confusedcious

18-Sep-11
Clever little hide

11-Sep-11
Find 1313
Found BFE style without the GPS in the only place I needed to look while the tennis players were elsewhere.
Thanks to Confusedcious for the cache

03-Sep-11
Easy find thanks.

27-Aug-11
Another quiet place this morning.
We think the terrain rating should get another ½ to 1 star on this one Surprised (luckly Mr DISK is tall).
Took TB. Left bulldog clip. SL.
Thanks Confusedcious.

25-Aug-11
After being muggled by 9pm tennis players, we went to a nearby cache, returned and outwaited the last few stragglers and made a quick find. Left shotflames' trackable Smile tftc

25-Aug-11
Yay. This was going to be our first cache find for the night until we were muggled out by tennis players. Who plays tennis at 10PM? Anyway we went to find another cache and sure enough by the time we got to the Cachemobile the tennis players were gone and we were able to grab the cache. Cache you later. TFTC

21-Aug-11
No-one having a hit today, despite the clear skies - nearly convinced ourselves it must have gone missing with the recent tree-felling, but happily proved ourselves wrong.

TNLNSL

07-Aug-11
Found after a bit of searching! Was soaked though!!

06-Aug-11
Thankfully there were no muggles around this afternoon, and Cal and I made a quick retrieval (good teamwork made it easySmile). I guess on Tennis days this cache would become impossible.
The contents were quite wet so we emptied out the water and managed to find a dry spot for our log.
TNLN, TFTC confusedcious

06-Aug-11
Found yesterday & even ran into David of the Tardus trio who had some great caching tales. Introduced a mate who found his 1st cache....still fairly damp & dried it out. TFTC

06-Aug-11
Arrived to see two muggles nearby. After a while, realised they were looking at a GPS, so introduced myself. Good to meet timber06 and his muggle friend while otu caching. I either encouraged them or put them off completley only time will tell Surprised

Cache log was wet but signable.

Day 368 of non-stop caching.

25-Jul-11
Sorry for the late logging of this cache, we were slack and took a year off caching, only grabbing caches with the McKee Clan between jobs. Only now just thinking about logging them as we remember, TFTC

25-Jul-11
On our adventure we passed by and grabbed this one in between jobs today. Tftcsl a bit wet we drained mr piggy and put the logbook out of bag to dryout.

25-Jul-11
Found in the company of ParisLaura while on a Girls day out caching.
This probably isn't the best place for a cache as tree hollows typically get full of water as many logs have suggested and the cache is suffering for it. If you really want this to stay here, consider investing in some waterproof paper with a no swaps cache.
Just another smilie.

25-Jul-11
Lucky I am tall because I reached in and fished out the cache from the lake it was swimming in, removed the piggy toy because it would just keep the log damp. Was able to sign log even though it was wet. TFTC

24-Jul-11
Had actually been here before but decided that i'd need a tool so had left it to another day. Brought a tool today which made for an easy find, although i did think i was about to be muggled when someone pulled off down the street and wound down the window - luckily she was just after the rugby club! TFTC log is damp, although could have been worse considering the amount of water in its spot!

24-Jul-11
Needed some assistance to get there but did.
The logs are completely soaked, nee replacement.
I think the "tennis ball bucket" gets full of water

22-Jul-11
Nice quick find on a quick visit to Adelaide. Thanks. Mind you the log is 110% soaked! - If it wasn't for my spacepen, I would not have been able to leave a log.

20-Jul-11
A great hiding location for a cache but obviously systema containers arent that waterproof. We were able to sort of sign the very damp log. Thanks confusedcious for the hide!!

20-Jul-11
Good hide but the container seems to get full of water it was wet in side making the log a bit hard to sign TFTC

17-Jul-11
Too wet for logging. TFTC.

15-Jul-11
Found with Master T on a day off while the little Miss E's at basketball an choir. Nice place for a swim as well, very waterlogged. TFTC.

30-Jun-11
I think it needs some TLC. Cache full of water and logbook soaked through.

30-Jun-11
Big day of caching (on foot) while the car is in for major service. This is my old junior tennis club. Haven't been here for over 20 years. Thanks for bringing back some memories. 500 finds here we come. TFTC confusedcious.

30-Jun-11
Thanks for letting me know, (and congrats on the 500 at my other cache, that's awesome!) I'm looking into a new cache container, the sistema's clearly not up to the job here.

28-May-11
Tried but no luck

18-May-11
Found it, but was a bit wet and smelly! We left an ikea pencil Smile

14-May-11
Nice place for a cache.

Wet inside but log dry.

Tftc

14-May-11
Thanks for the various heads up about the cache. If it gets worse I'll see to it right away, otherwise I'll go tend to it when it doesn't look like it'll rain again straight away.

10-May-11
Out in the rain with the 2 step. Contents wet but log ok.

10-May-11
It appears the cache location is the perfect water collector Smile as it was brimming this evening & unfortunately the cache isn't waterproof!
Emptied the full container out and thankfully found that the plastic bag had done its job fairly well & I was able to sign the log.
Cheers & TFTH.

08-May-11
HerDd found on early morning walk with jnr geodaoughter letting Mum sleep in on mothers day. Very quiet around here at this time! TNLN TFTC - needs to have pencil added to cache - unfortunaltly we were not prepared enough to add one.

All quite today so a quick easy find, but I was sprung by the neighbours behind the club house retrieving the cache. Oops

Found at 14:00 by Olga
A quick trip out to find confusedcious' two caches, not far from Olga's place. I was surprised nobody was using the courts, but it did make it easier to retrieve the cache.

10-Apr-11
The place was deserted today, so it proved to be a quick, uninterupted find. Thanks for the cache confusedcious!

09-Apr-11
My mother's sister lived around the corner in Bideford. I played here many times with my cousins in the 60's and 70's. The local streets still do my head in.
