Grabbed this one to replace the log, and forgot to return it before I left Canberra, so rather than leaving it disabled until I can get back to Canberra and replace it, I'm archiving it and hoping that someone else else finds a creative spot for a cache in the vicinity.

19-Jun-11
Log is full and needs replacing. I didn't have any paper on me today, so my log entry is squeezed into a small empty spot halfway down the page.

19-Jun-11
Disabled until I can do some maintenance and replace the log - hopefully only for a few days.

This one had me stumped for a while. I was convinced it was hiding in one of the more obvious spots.

Thanks for bringing us to this unusual structure. I loved the acoustic effects under the steel dome.

#1688 Found on our Canberra caching weekend - Day 4. We parked near the new Parliament and strolled through the old Parliament House Gardens (we wondered how many "secret" conversations took place here) - pity it wasn't spring time but they were lovely nevertheless. Thankfully didn't have to look for too long before the nicely placed cache was located. Thanks for a great hide JustinCBR - we enjoyed all aspects of this cache [^]

Love the hint. I figured it out but failed to find the cache. Luckily Mc Kenna has sharper eyes than me.

05-Jun-11
I read the hint for this one and looked where I thought it should be and was getting rather frustrated. I saw that a friend of mind had found it recently and I called and left a message for some help. The puddle wife eventually found the cache to which I replied "That's not what the clue said. What rubbish!". My friend called back and then said what the clue actually mean't and I went "Doh of course the clue was correct".

So all good in the end! TFTC

Had a hole in the caching calendar today to fill, so dropped by this morning with visiting octogenarian geomum in tow to see a cache. Saw where it was hidden pretty quicky and got geomum to gently remove the camo and she was very impressed when the shiny container was revealed. Then showed her the acoustics at the namesakes monument.

Thanks JustinCBR.

Working back in Barton again so a nice lunchtime stroll and the iPhone did well. By my standards a quick find and not a bottom to be sniffed anywhere! (and a GC Visit)

26-Apr-11
Quick find once the GPS settled down. Luckily, we had the satellite map avaliable so we had no problem locating the right area to search. Clue was very handy as we may have been there for sometime without knowing what to look for. Great views of the gardens. Thanks for taking us here. TFTC Smile

26-Apr-11
The coordinates put me equidistant from about three possible hiding spots - The first one I tried wasn't very promising, but the second offered lots of possibilities. Seems like someone has been busy placing lots of red herrings there, as I checked a few of them before finding the real hide.

Thanks JustinCBR!

26-Apr-11
Looked once, then went after another nearby cache, came back, but still nothing. I think I know what dogs do, but alas, no joy in finding the cache.

Will come back with another set of eyes another day. Thanks anyway.

24-Apr-11
There I was, heading to the other spot nearby where the previous Magna Carta cache used to be, whoops, passed it - huh - back I go and spotted something odd immediately - Nice hide, Thanks.

Found @ 12:46pm

Second of three finds I made today on my way to Narrabundah to watch the ACT play Country NSW at the women's baseball Nationals (Fore! and Shadow! were playing).

A quick find despite the camo. This is the second time I've been in this area to find a cache, thanks JustinCBR!

Found by H and The Empire
My tour guide was showing me the sights of Canberra, which were all very beautiful and I was gaining a lot of knowledge from The Empire about our nation's capital. We made this find after breakfast and a lovely walk.

Been caching here before. After the nab took some time to take in the structure and read the 6 plaques. Loved the history and significance.

Thanks for the cache, tricky little sucker.

Not doing a good job of looking casual while a group of us searched it didn't take too long to find with all those eyes -- shinydragon being the one to spot it.

Found after a bit of a scour w STORMCATCHERS & D&N.

02-Apr-11
Reperio at 1610. Remember being here not so long ago completing one of SS's caches, so the area was familiar to me, as was the structure nearby. Got to GZ, and with a huge wedding going on in the gardens, I was paranoid about someone spotting me aimlessly wandering around. Pin pointed GZ and started to search, and having to look over my shoulder every 5 secs for people walking around. I figured I may have to let this one go. Rang a previous finder to make sure I was indeed looking in the right spot, and no sooner had he told me I was in the right spot, my eyes caught sight of the camo...Very nasty!

Gratias JustinCBR.

Took about 5 minutes, but with very careful systemetic observation, the find was made. Thanks JustinCBR.

02-Apr-11
Now you see it, now you don't!? Most of the time we did not see it so took longer than it should! Spotted in the end, sweet! Thanks JustinCBR for a cleave hide!

02-Apr-11
Very tricky hide. Took us a while to locate it even though I looked straight at it several times.

01-Apr-11
Found with shinydragon and the_proton and muggle friends. Great camo. TFTC

01-Apr-11
This one is very good - it had me scratching my fleas until I finally understood the clue!
Well done. Thanks for the outing on such a fine autumn's day.
Many thanks!

4087. [font=Century Gothic][green]Decided that I should do a quick cache on the way home - yeah right. Originally thought that it was over by the fence (near the end of a SS cache but once the GPS settled it was at the obvious right spot. Tiede a yellow ribbon and danced around the maypole a number of times before spotting the hide. Done many of these sort and always struggle.

After around 15 minutes of searching finally noticed something just a little out of place and found the cache. Nice hide. TFTC!

Found at 8am today. Almost gave up trying to find this one and ask for a phone a friend. Spotted it after I sent them the text. Love the nearby structure it echos! TFTC

30-Mar-11
I received the notification of this one on the way home so a quick left hand turn onto Northbourne was called for and a slow trip to GZ through the city and then to find a convenient park nearby. I spotted Norkmeister making his way towards GZ and teamed up for a search of the nearby structures. After searching the same spot 4 times to the amusement of the local wildlife, I spied something that was not quite right and soon had the cache in hand for a joint *FTF*.

Thanks for the cache and the hunt JustinCBR

30-Mar-11
I was just leaving work and got down to my car to find that I had forgot my headphones. Left the phone and popped back upstairs. When I got back I noticed a new email publishing this cache. As soon as I saw the name I new exactly where it was. I wanted to hide a cache here before but got knocked back due to SS-BJC's puzzle. Solved and found that and fully intended to hide my own puzzle here once it was archived, but never got around to it. My hide was going to be in the same place, but with different cammo.

Anyway back to the story. I didn't have my REAL GPS and with 60m accuracy on the phone I relied on an incorrect interpretation of the hint, thinking more along the lines of obedience. Mine do that, not THAT. Anyway BB arrive an we were speculating on the hint and he came up with the right approach. Kept coming back to the same spot and I was doing a systematic rising circular search when BB made the find. I just came along for the ride, didn't really put in but hey, I'll take the joint *FTF*.

Thanks JustinCBR and Black Bunny.
