Visited and had a quick look but noted it had not been found in a long time so moved on to next one on the list
Spend quite a while here but no luck .....very disappointing ...Have done this lovely walk several times with Nordic Walking friends ...Anyone know if it is still there ?
Had an idea from the hint of what we might be looking for but couldn't find anything
Doing a little caching today while visiting family in the area. We were challenged to find this one by afterdarknz, can't resist a good challenge! We had a good idea what we were looking for, but we all searched for a long while (between muggles) with no joy. Is it still there?
Found in a gap between muggles. Nice hide. log full, had to squeeze my name above the geocaching symbol

On the way to the Bombay Hills for a family reunion. Had time to divert to this reserve to find an old cache to fill a placed month cell in the month placed chart. Stopped at this cache on the way back. Quickly found. A favourite. TFTC.

In the area today finding a few caches and this one wasn't too far from where i was. Headed over here again after a DNF back in January this year. This time, the cache was quickly found and wasn't at all what i was expecting which probably could have been the reason why i never found it last time.
Interesting piece of camo here! Ive not seen one like this before so appreciate the extra effort put into the hide! TFTC!

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were out and about for a Sunday drive today, and a spot of caching out East. After a short search, this nicely camo'd cache was soon found. TFTC!

very hard, was not an easy cache, failed to find it the first time, but found it once returned from locating the three in the walk
the magnet is not strong enough to keep it up anymore

This was day 3 of a fantastic week in New Zealand as part of the upcoming NZ Mega weekend, and when I pulled up here earlier, there were a couple of muggles getting ready to walk down along the trail...so I had to leave it and hope the coast was clear when I got back from my walk...which it was. After a quick scout around the area, I soon came upon the nicely hidden cache. Glad it wasn't under the toilet!!!
Gratias mattandjax.

Great camo! Needed help from HowickSteph to find this one as it was not in the right place and we had to climb the fence to get it. Have put it back in the correct spot

Awesome cammo found with cassanj with help from howicksteph as was not in the right place magnet seems like has lost it's strength about may need checking on. Tftc
Wow this took some looking for. We gave up, then went on to do some others. We returned with a positive attitude and hey presto. Not sure if it was our GPS or that it had been moved slightly. Maybe it moved by itself
Took the kids on a forced family walk on a Auckland Stormy day - this was cache # 5. Thanks for making the walk more interesting. We did this one on the way back. Miss P found it and was very excited as we had been looking for a little bit. Love it very much.
Our first ever geocache!! Reasonably easy to find in about 15mins. Found by ms 7. Need tweezers to remove log
finally found it, was sure I looked here on the first visit but not the second.. this was the third visit and finally nailed it.. great camo , am so pleased I finally found it. Found with wendythebean TFTC
A few muggles about today, but was still able to get the find without them noticing me. TFTC.
Very good camo indeed - even detaching it from its resting place still felt 'real'. Good stuff! T4TC, M@
Family group around when we turned up. Thought they had headed of down the path - so there we were with hubby's head down searching when they suddenly appeared behind us.
Thankfully they were sort of facing away, heading for their car. We tried to look we were up to nothing as they got in and pulled away, but who knows what they though of us, hanging about where we were.
Anyway now that they were gone it was back to the search for a quick find. Great camo, and hiding place, I'd missed it on first feel around. TFTC

Crafty hide! Took us a while to find. First of the day, hopefully find 14 more to hit 500!!!
Very good co ords and a delightful container. Found the convenience most convenient too. NINO TFTC
After the previous logs I was surprised to discover it so readily. Grat cammo job totally in keping with all the possibilities, as per a previous finder I feel for thise that have needed to make repeat visits.

A great evening out caching with Waiiti20 who turned this one up quite quickly. Nice, and gets a fav from us. TFTC
Last find for the evening, found on a beautiful balmy evening while caching in the area. Fortunate to be able to say it was a quick find, and I feel for those who have had to make return visits. TFTC, a definite favourite.
Found on second attempt. Think it was dislodged before.
Very unique cache. Loved it.

Finally found this one! Been back several times but with a few tips from RetroKiwi it was success at last. Though it sounds like it was almost impossible to find after reading that mattandjax couldn't see it, makes me feel a little better!
Thanks retrokiwi. Over the weekend we went out and try to find the cache ourselves and we couldn't!! I was literally coming on to disable and possibly archive the cache when I saw your log! Sounds like it is all good to go.
Please can everyone try and put it back in the same place and ensure it is securely fastened before leaving the area.

out for a run at the reserve this evening & checked on this one while I was catching my breath afterwards - not quite where I had found it last time (I did have to climb the fence that time, so did again tonight & scraped my leg on a pipe while looking), found it on the ground, have returned it slightly further up, but still no need to climb any fences!
Haha! after about the 4th visit. I'm sure the cache has been moving around, but not that quickly.great camo. T4TC
Looked and looked and looked...just couldn't find it..even wendythebean was no help...gps said i was on top of it but no success...
This one has us stumped...read past logs but still no luck, sounds like its obvious! Will have to try again
7.15am. Not early enough to dodge the runners and walkers! Managed to get a break between and soon found the nice wee hide.
Thank you. David.
Thank you. David.
this one has.Been nagging us for ages and so we gave it a fourth go. after reading the new hints we spent 5 min looking. so obvious and sure we have searched this spot before so glad to finally find this one. great camo. haven't seen that before. TFTC
Wow what excellent camouflage so impressed. Must admit 2nd time was the charm after help from a fellow caching friend (thanks Uncle Sam). Great cache!! Thanks.
We were determined to find this one but after a member of the crew suffering a back twinge we gave up and will come back for take two when everyone is well again.
Well...all I can say is "WOW". What an awesome cache. I did see that when I had my first visit, but didn't think much of it. I knew I should have had a closer look!
Well done!

Checked on this at 7am this morning. Cache is firmly in place and is actually visible to the naked eye.
It is not on the toilet which was placed there well after the cache was orginally located here. You do not need to jump any fences as the cache should be reachable from the car park.
If you do find this cache please ensure it is carefully hidden back in the same location.

Couldn't find it, looked everywhere possible - we think?! Could someone check it's still there. It might have been muggled. Looks like that has happened in the past. We weren't keen on sticking hand down portaloo either.
Not a great time for us here unfortunately, was quite busy when we showed up and also when we left. Did attempt a look but nothing clicked - great spot out here though so will be back another time.
As per previous DNF, coords had me all over the portaloo. Had a quick look but flagged it. Will add to the bookmark list and come back another day.
Coords had us a bit too close to a place that no one in their right mind would put a hand, so left this one for now.
We are so happy to finally have claimed a smiley face on this cache!!! We have visited this area 5 times to try and find it, and actually had to swallow our pride and asked the CO for help. What a cool cache!!! Thank you so much mattandjax!
Been to check on the cache and all is good. Was a bit of cache creep. Replaced back towards where it should be. Tweaked clue slightly for new position.
Fail, but i did managed to lock my bike to the railing before going on the walk to come back and discover the key was at home - not a great thing to do in the rain.
Too many muggles around to have a decent look for this one. Maybe next time.
Checked out this cache on the way home and everything is as it should be. The hiding spot isn't quite as good as it can be so it was quite exposed but this one seems to be surviving well
3/4 caches found today. Unfortunately, this one has us totally stumped. Hoping to crack the puzzle one day though!!
watching the youtube videos seems to have paid off for this one with a bit of help from the hint )

On this wet afternoon, we decided to do a few Park-n-Grabs to push us over the 50 mark. We had 1YO and 4YO with us, while 8YO enjoyed the last of his holiday in Australia.
Dad and 4YO decided to tackle this one (4YO was FINALLY allowed to get out of the car); it wasn't long before Mum joined in; while 1YO guarded the car (its OK - we were standing right by it!)
We were all wandering around the area, jackets firmly in place. A couple of muggles came and went while we were there, but no one paid us much attention.
We pondered the clues, and saw a log about thinking like a 6-year old, this had us prodding cow pooh and pulling at things we probably shouldn't!
Eventually Dad cracked the hint, and told Mum his reasoning - she didn't think he had cracked it, but said it was plausible (i.e she 'pooh-poohed' it). We kept searching, and must have searched for half an hour... and just as Mum said "lets come back another day"; Dad came up with the cache.
Unfortunately the cache was in 2 pieces (the camo had been separated from the cache) - because it was separated, the log was quite wet. We managed to get our name on it, and put it back together; though not sure if it will stay in one piece for long.
Great cache - we are so pleased we (Dad!) found it.

Found while in Auckland for the weekend, staying with friends who live close by and walking the reserve near by. LOL..... great cache....had us fooled initially but everything starts to look suspicious once you become a cacher......TFTC fav from me
#425, Cool little hide. Daughter was very excited to find this one, We had almost given up and then those magic words...I think I've found it.....yes its here mum. We must have looked like we have serious problems hanging around outside the loo. Kids can make good cover thou. LOL
Took a few minutes to find this one. It was a lovely day and there were heaps of muggles turning up to head off on the walking paths. We tried not to look too dodgy which was a bit tricky as the portaloo is very near to GZ and we were "loitering" around it. Had a bit of a scrabble around and found the cache - it had become dislodged so i think we were lucky to find it. Placed it back where it didn't look too obvious. Very cool container. TFTC.
Fantastic to find one like this. Congratulations. I had a terrible time unwinding the log as it seemed to be glued together. All is well and its back in place for the next find. Favorite from us. TFTC
stopped by to check on the container. Its perfectly ok. exactly as it was meant to be. log dry!
This one was quite hard to find and there it was under my nose all the time.
Noticed the container is damaged.
Cheers for the cache.

XC and TK out caching on the bike.. Stopped here for a quick find.. It was luck more than anything but TK spotted it in an unlikely spot... It looks like the container has been damaged..? or it could just be the type of container used... log was exposed.

good to go again with new replacement in the correct place. please always put it back exactly where you found it, then cache-creep will never be an issue and the cache should stay undamaged
Cache is indeed damaged and very water logged and also quite a way from where it was meant to be!!
We will replace as soon as we can.

Out and about with Bjarni1 for the first time in 3 months in the hopes of getting back into the caching game. Very cool cache! The trail hint took a while to spark the light bulb. TFTC
