Well, turns out this was one of the very first puzzles I ever solved, all the way back in 2020 I recall giving a quick look at the cache page and using a trusty tool I've used a number of times before, but getting exact final coordinates was a lot of drama. Without spoiling the puzzle, the variations of the medical emergency are UNREAL! I'd go through the process and get some coords for Sylvan Park, Lake Pupuke and the next time get coordinates in the middle of my school XD.
As I deemed this one impossible to get exact final coords, I reached out to see if anyone else had the same problem and turns out all 3 people did. Eventually I was just handed the final coords (Hope the CO doesn't mind). Think this one may need a bit of redoing as the google algorithm has most likely changed since 2011. This is possibly the reason why this one hasn't been found for over a year. I hate getting help with puzzles but there was seriously no other way to do this anymore
This afternoon/evening I had Auckland School Tennis Finals out in Mt Wellington against back to back to back to back to back to back to back to back defending champions - St Kentigerns. I've had the luxury of making this final throughout each year of my high school career so far but we always lose to bloody St Kents in the final who offer scholarships to top players, to come play at their school. This year they got the #1 and #2 17 year olds in NEW ZEALAND to play, and despite my best efforts, I lost 4-2 4-2 to my extremely good opponent. Not too bad against the 2nd best player in NZ for my age though! Our team lost 4-2 overall, but we put up a good fight.
Anyway, by the time I arrived back at school, it was 7:00pm and pitch black outside -__- Luckily I've saved this one for a busy day as it's on the way home, and I can drop in if need be. This place is such a lovely spot for a cache and I vividly remember eel-hunting with my friends here after school some days when I was a lot younger. Arrived at GZ and I knew this would be such a tough find with the pitch black conditions, but I STUMPled (Pun intended ) upon the right location instantly and managed to make a nice, quick find. Signed myself in, before replacing as found. TFTC & P Ledge End!

Fair bit of bush crashing with a jumpy gps. Spent a long time looking through but came emptyhanded
Heading to the shore to have lunch with Merlot58 and Supernanny MrsJAG had some time to fill in, so stopped by to collect this cache. We had previously not been able to find this one, but today it was soon spotted. Nice to turn our frown upside down here.
I needed a couple of nudges with this one, both to solve and to find, and came up successful today, TFTP
I went out today to try to get my numbers up over last year. I had some help solving the puzzle, but was on my own for the find. I spent quite some time on several places that I thought fit the hint, but eventually moved around and found the cache. TFTC.

We have solved this one a long time ago, but never been in the area to collect it. Today we set out to find it and despite a thorough search we came up empty-handed.
After much Internet surfing for the correct diagram to relate to, we found the GZ about 3 minutes drive from us. Found the cache quite quickly, though is not the 2 litre container mentioned. One of my boys was keen to do a swap with the original cache. Previous log entries correspond to this cache so this must have been the replacement. TFTC
Got some help with the puzzle - it was tricky - made the find today, no problem at all. TFTC
Managed to solve this one a while ago after finally finding the right resource. The cache was missing at that stage so it has been on the list for a while.
Today while in the area took a slight detour which allowed me to grab this one. I initially went to a place that the GPS seemed to be pointing that also looked good with plenty of places to hide. After failing to find it there I looked at the GPS again to find it was now showing about 15m away. It took a little while for the GPS to settle down and give me a good position but once I seemed to be in the right spot another smaller hint item appeared and this time a very minty smelling cache was found. All good here and thanks for replacing. TFTC.

This was an easy solve as I was quite familiar with the images from my training as a paramedic. Have had this solved for a long time, but finally made the effort today to find this as I was nearby. Initially tried approaching GZ from the wrong direction and not willing to bush bash the last 45m, I tried a different approach. This time got to within 11m and a quick walk through the wandering dew I had the cache in hand.
Solved this one well over a year ago and took a look without success. Looking for a puzzle cache to get today and noticed that this one had been replaced so decided to come and get it while it is still around.
Bit different looking here in December than August though still plenty undergrowth to look through. Plenty of places a cache could be and poked about here and there. Definitely no sign of the original cache which I guess is long gone, but after a while managed to find the replacement so pleased to turn the frown upside down.
An interesting puzzle so pleased to be able to claim a find on this one. Cache there to be found, thanks for the cache.

Met up with Jard1037 at another nearby puzzle final so we decided to have a look for this one. Checked all hint items but no luck. I had previously asked the CO if he minded a replacement, although I did not get a reply a replacement was left, looks like quite a bit of pest control going on here. What a very beautiful reserve, I did not know it existed.
Having solved this cache with the help of my charge nurse daughter and then failing to find this cache on the previous visit, it was nice to come back with urbangypsynz and smilie up this reserve. TFTC
With the help of my daughter, I was pleased to solve this puzzle but today, I had no luck at the GZ. Lots of good possibilities but nothing found.
Gave it a good half hour today but no sign of the cache revealed itself to us sadly.
This was a relatively easy solve for me as I got to use one of my favorite tools for image based puzzles. Getting the key made the coordinates just pop into place. Stopping by to sign the log today, I followed the path in, and soon found the container. Enjoyed seeing the contents, very amusing! Cache contents and logbook - everything is looking pretty healthy. Thanks for the puzzle and hide!
I've had this puzzle on my solved list for quite some time but just haven't had a chance to get out and find it. After a short walk to gz we quickly made the find. Some really cool trees around here, the geodogs really enjoyed exploring one in particular
I really do love a puzzle that rewards you with a visit to a special place. This one didn't disappoint me! Good stuff ledge end!
This cache has been in my solved pile for years (literally). I solved it about four years ago and have never done the final job of coming up to get it. Today was the day though as I was up in the North Shore with some time to spare so I stopped by for the quick find. Thanks for the enjoyable puzzle and TFTC!
Found myself over the Shore, looking for a Puzzle cache to solve. This one came together fairly quickly, then was not sure about the approach to GZ.
Thankfully not much of a bush bash required, and I went straight to the hint item. Found the hidden cache, and the log was found. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide

When with my sister in hospital while she was undergoing chemo close to 18 months ago we solved this one. Luckily sje knew what she was looking at because I had yet to locate the way to solve this. Today we went caching on the shore after dropping GAR off at a course for the day and I dedcidedmwe really needed to go find the actual cache. Thank goodness for the hint because the GPSr didn't have me all that close to where we found the cache in the end. Like the themed contents but had nothing appriopriate to add to it. Thanks heaps for the puzzle ledge end. Haven't relooked at the second medical emergency but know we couldn't get the right coords out when we gave it a few goes at the same time we solved this one. Came out with our dad, merlot47, who joined us for a caching day but hasn't solved this one himseld and just rode on our coat tails for this one.
Wow time has flown by, garball and I did solve this one in July/Aug 2014, I recognised the picture and immediately knew what to look for, I have no idea what previous finders have "found on the computer" unless they are being cryptic I have missed something! It was about time we searched for this one, such a disappointment when you solve a puzzle and then they are gone by the time you get to go look for it. So out for my sister's birthday caching trip (garball) and our father merlot47 in tow, this was our first stop. a little toing and froing but managed to locate the considerable sized cache. Thanks for a puzzle I was actually able to do ledge end.

#10769. Troodles is always keen to find solved puzzles, so stopped by to look for this one. We followed a track for a time, then had to go off track. It took us a while to locate the cache at GZ, but eventually I had a proper look under a hint object. TFTC.
Today we wanted to target one of oldest caches in Auckland "North Shore City - Kendalls Bay" as it fills a gap (one of several we both have missing) in our finds by month grid, but our journey there took us via a few other caches as well.
A bit of bush bashing, which was probably unnecessary, had us at a location with lots of hint objects and a wavering needle on the GPSr. It turned out the cache was hiding where I first searched, but I hadn't followed instructions properly and didn't find it. It took a look from StreetWalker to sniff it out.
Thanks for the puzzle and the cache, have now completed a 24 day puzzle streak.

Kiwiscot19 - 700th Find
Kiwiscot & Kiwi (supposedly) solved this puzzle a few weeks back and it seemed like the ideal cache to bring up our 700th find. Got to gz and all seemed good. Plenty of hint items around to check out. After a lengthy search all we had to show was a discarded (most likely stolen) wallet with some credit cards expiring in 2013. Kiwi then piped up that he had found the cache. Kiwiscot retrieved the small Sistema container only to find it contained a homemade smoking utensil. All items were disposed off and we headed home to try and figure where we went wrong.
Revisited the puzzle and found we had made 1 mistake with co-ordinate M. Unfortunately Scotty had to head off to work but Kiwiscot & Kiwi returned and made a quick find approximately 100 metres from where we were looking earlier. All in good shape. TFTC

I thought given I worked here I would best be solving atleast one of these caches. So myself and the anaesthetist sat in theatre figuring this out and then I went off and figured it out properly on my own.
Managed to try a new system on google I'd just read about ! Yay ! It worked !
Then off to get the cache ! Cool items inside ! Thanks ledge end !

Had three doctors in the house at the time, all too busy to come up with the needed key word. We managed to learn a new technique on the computer and there it was. Very lucky at GZ as had left coordinates at home and only had vague idea of exact location. A short hunt resulted in a find. TFTC.
Managed to solve the puzzle quickly - in this case little medical knowledge was not a dangerous thing but it took 2 visits to finally locate the cache. TFTH
Loved the puzzle - pleased to see med school finally benefitting my caching! Stepped in a large pile of dog poo on my way to GZ, but aside from that, an easy find. Thanks!
A nice quick find in the most obvious location. Solved at the pub with slieschke some time ago now. Great to finally sign these puzzle caches off. A lovely area to visit. TFTPC!
A few of us were looking and pondering over this during a 31 days of caching event in August last year. I realised, wait, I work for a health IT software company and shot off an email to a doctor friend to find the key piece of information to solve this. The reply with answer made a bunch of puzzled geocachers very happy!
I'd solved this ages ago and finally visited to make a night time find. A bit of an interesting walk and search about to find the cache but it was soon found after focusing on what was hinted.
Thanks!

Managed to make the solve a while back after finding a very helpful image to assist with everything. Was in the area grabbing a cache for the day and decided to carry on walking to try my luck with this one before the rain really started to come down. Pretty damp out but the cache was in good condition when it was found. Nice puzzle and a nice spot for the final - TFTC
Third time lucky coordinates. Nice ingredients. Easy location and super nice place.
Solved this one a while ago after a bit of googling to find a suitable diagram. At GZ today it was pouring down but I was determined to find it. GPSr was a bit flakey due to tree cover and low cloud (and heavy rain!). But found the container in the second hint object I checked. Cache in good condition and still has some interesting swag there. Thanks for the puzzle and the hide.
Finally found this cache . I had visited the same spot over a year ago but did not manage to put my hand on the cache at the time. I was also a bit nervous about going over the fence even though it was laying on the ground and I started doubting my solution. Quickly found today once the woman and her 2 dogs moved away, TFTC
I had been puzzling over this one for ages, and so just on a whim I asked my youngest who just happens to have several degrees in Bio-Science. Now I am puzzling why I never asked him before, as the solution (to him) was very simple. So it was a simple matter of following the hint and finding the cache. TFTC.
Not being a medical professional, I managed to get pointed in the right direction by a very helpful member of the North Shore Hospital medical team when I went to visit a patient there yesterday. Armed with this new medical insight, I was able to research this particular area of physiology on Google to come up with the correct solution. The cache was located after a short search despite the GPS being a bit flakey around GZ. I really enjoyed the challenge. TFTC.
Out and about with the Future Finder for a few hours of caching this afternoon. Nice walk to GZ. Spotted the cache some distance away as it was pretty exposed. Rehid the cache with some abundant natural camo.
I quickly worked out what I needed to do solve the puzzle and quickly produced some likely, but clearly, not exactly right numbers. Checked my working and I soon realised I had confused "I" with "L"! Decided I was on the money this time and entered the solution into my overburdened puzzle book.
Cheers for the puzzle cache!

I looked at this cache, and could not ever seem to figure out what to do. Didn't bother too much with it though, and decided that one day I would get my mate in med to take a look at it.
Then, I decided to take another look at it, and after an at the time recent injury, I clicked as to what to do! It all fell into place, so I quickly looked over some things, and soon had some reasonable seeming coords. With no geochecker though, I really feared showing up, and being in the wrong place. But I checked, and nothing for 160m around, so I went for it eventually.
Nice sunny deserted afternoon, and I had to go for using the phone, as the GPS was refusing to work... but ofcourse, the phone still thought it was in some ridiculous location, so I had to wait for GPS reception forever!
Eventually got it though, and then, much to my surprise, place that matched the hint! And even more surprising! Cache!!!
On my way out though, walking along the grass, and then I sunk into some mud... and got my shoes that I needed for work the next day caked in mud! Argh! Oh well... got the cache!!!!
TFTC!!

A break through, when you combine heads to figure this one out. YAY YAY YAY solved. Nipped out at lunchtime with fellow cacher - could we get there, find it and be back within 30 mins. Yep, plotted a course to avoid busy intersections. A real magic spot, even though we couldn't linger to admire the surroundings. Thanks for the puzzle. This really made our 29th day special. And has also helped to complete Feb on our calendar. YAY YAY. SL. TFTC.
After trying to figure this out for a bit, in comes Mr Alligator and says 'thats that' & after googling soon had new co-ords in hand. So out again in lunch break with fellow work cacher, soon had cache to hand, had a wee giggle at the items inside. What a neat spot. TFTC
I finally worked it out with a little help from my friends! ?? Now I will try "Medical Emergency 2" which I also might need help with! The cache is in good condition although a little exposed. I have put it back so it's a little less obvious. Thanks for the great puzzle.
Initial diagnosis wasn't correct, and guessing possiblt mistakes didn't help. A different reference reference identified the problem, and the visit cured it ! The cache was sitting out in the open, so tucked it away with a bit a camoflage material on it so it is not obvious unless you're looking. TFT puzzling C.
I think I can remember being in this part of the park a few years back searching for another cache.
This is a great puzzle and had me going to get a good research document that gave me what I wanted.
Swapped a Jeep TB for an Impala TB.
Cheers for the cache.

I must have come the wettest way possible to the cache. The "pound-hound" looked liked the creature from the mud lagoon, so I had to ask a friendly neighbour if I could use their hose to clean her off a bit before I put her back in the car. Of course after I found it I saw the easy, non muddy way to the cache. Thanks.
After a long consultation with a doctor friend we finally managed to sort this one out. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache.
Needed to brush up on my medical journals from my Uni days at med school. Soon worked out.

Don't know about a medical emergency, but just about needed the coastguard to reach the cache, don't wonder they haven't mown the grass!
Always nice to find a big box at the end.

4192 What do normal geocachers do when they have had a long day, managed two FTF's and two 2TF's - if you answered ... crawl into a nice warm bed, you are probably right but then we aren't normal and couldn't resist knocking off a puzzle we had solved ages ago whilst near the area. Thanks for a fun puzzle! Now we are off to bed (No. 2 will need to wait until morning!)
Having just performed a successful FTF extraction with Dr Joel Higgs (Medical Emergency II) we had this other Medical Emergency to deal with. A quick shift of operating theatres, instruments in hand, we performed late-night exploratory surgery on the patient. Pleased to report the operation was a success. Another Medical Emergency averted.
Thanks for the fun. We liked the final location and the hide.

6663 Many years of watching Chicago Hope and Grey's Anatomy finally paid off. Left the House and headed to the ER, at the General Hospital along Shortland Street. After a quick Scrubs... a Nip/Tuck... it was all sorted. Was heading back to the Private Practice when I was spotted by Doc Martin or was it Doogie Howser? Sorry Mike... didn't recognise you without your stethoscope otherwise would have stayed and chatted about medical procedures. Many thanks for the cool puzzle and cache.
With no previous knowledge on this subject, it took a couple of minutes of internet research - some self-educating, before we could get down to operating . Having figured it out, we enlisted Surgeon Rosmar to assist with the delicate extraction procedure. We can report it was a total success, and a first in the world and the patient can expect a complete recovery. Joint FTF with rosmar . Dropped 2 TBs. TFTC!!!
With both of us searching it didn't take long to discover something that was of great assistance. Joined forces with FMZ for the operation which was a total sucess, thanks for the late night fun T4TC.
