Sadly this one seems to have gone but no evidence of burnt remains after last years bushfire. Unfortunately didn't bring a simple replacement after we'd just repair "Pups for Toys". Cheers P&F
What a great day of hiking

With a couple of days off and a let up in the storms we decided a walk in the forest would stretch the leg muscles, a enjoyable stroll and found after a short searchTFTC Team Jansons
Out with micaparamedic and The Drovers for another days caching in the great area we decided to try our luck at this series after we had completed the nearby Animal Facts run. This little walk turned out to be a bit harder than we thought but are happy to say we located all the hides and added our names as CDM to save room in the log books.
Apologies for the generic log but being out with a fun loving group competing for each find we did not take note of each cache.
Many thanks Team Jansons for placing this cache and bringing us to this area.

Out with Team Crackers and the Drovers today, we had a quite day with just three hours caching as a trip to Adelaide Airport was needed to collect another member of our group for the Yorke Peninsula assault. We had a relaxed and enjoyable day with plenty of laughter and frivolity being shared by all.
Thanks Team Jansons for placing this cache.
Thanks Team Jansons for placing this cache.
Today we ventured out with Team Crackers & Micaparamedic,
to do a section of a nearby power trail, and a few others on the way.
With nice weather, and lots of laughs, a fun day was had.
We signed as CDM, to save on time and log space.
Many thanks for placing this cache, Team Jansons, for us and others to find.

Yes we went down to the woods today
To find us a caching prize
Oh we went down to the woods today
And didn't go in disguise
For every cache that ever there was
was gathered there for certain because
Today's the day we had a caching picnic!
So Purrfect Di and Chloe the geopup joined me for a mini attack on a seemingly tiny corner of the Mt Crawford geo map.
A nice walk, which we must do again soon, but start earlier!
Geopup Chloe was pretty chuffed to find some caches for K9s, so we'll be back to find some more soon.
(Cats need minions/slaves/dogs to do their dirty work )
We all enjoyed the bushwalk.

Out with Debandy caching the Mt Crawford forest on a bitterly cold day made all the worse by the biting wind chill how ever once we started hiking the hills in search of the many fantastic cache all was good. Many cache were found with many more still to find on another day, one that's a bit warmer I think.
T hanks for the cache!

Found after a quick search. Took snake. Left a Dream works heroes card, spinning top and ladybug toy. TFTC.
It has been more than a decade since I last walked this track! Happy to report it hasn't changed a bit. Still a lovely walk in the bush [^]

No dogs seen today. Just skippys.
Our thanks to Team Jansons and clear skies from TeamAstro..
There are some gorgeous grass trees in this area, such amazing sizes. Cache was found fairly quickly but not without a start at the contents
Thanks for the hunt this afternoon.

As we approached GZ, ronso had to take a seat to remove a grass seed that had worked its way into her shoe. Whilst slipping her shoe back on, she looked across to admire an nearby xanthorrea... and cache was soon in hand ;c) Nice hide... and such an awesome day for a bushwalk :c) TFTC!!
Out and about with Ride The Tiger doing a nice wander through the area for caches and yep found some caches. We would love to take our dog to more caching areas but she gets so excited in the car she whines all the way and its very distracting so unfortunately unless it is a close to home walking track poor Sasha stays behind.
Woodleigh sounds like quiet the cacher, haha.
After a bit of a hunt we found the cache, signed the log and replaced safe and sound as found. TNLN

With all the Animal Facts, Weird and Cool Facts and K9 Gps caches in the Mt Crawford Forest park, I finally got to a point where I could no longer resist. Thanks for a great day out. TFTC
Another K9-GPS find for us on the trail, having missed out on two earlier ones. No DNFs logged for those though, as one had a find today and the other we could not spend enough time locating as it was right next to a scout checkpoint with lots of activity (the minders watching a movie projected onto the door of their 4WD and a group of kids approaching from below). Here however, there was peace and quiet, and eventually our persistence paid off. Turns out this was our last Team Jansons cache for the day, thanks very much for putting them out! TNLNSL TFTC
Darknstormy and i were heading to Mt Crawford for a nice walk with some good caches and we stopped at a few along the drive to our destination.
The sun was shining and was a bit bitey at times but the wind was cool so it made for a great walking day. Saw lots of Roo's along the way and one bug bunny or perhaps a Hare?
Loved the walk along the Heysen trail too
Thanks for bringing us here and apologies for a generic log

Furrangel and I decided we wanted to go for a hike so we set out a trail it was nice and quite here, no one around just the icy wind.. But the sun game out a bit later to warm us up We are slowing ticking of parts of the Heysen Trail on our bucket list.
We saw plenty of wildlife, lots of birds, kangaroo's and a few lizards... Few big hills that tested our endurance near the end of the walk. Other than that it was great to get out of the house and get the legs moving.
Sorry for the Generic log... after doing so many you can't remember all of them

Headed up to Mt Crawford to walk some of the Heysen Trail grabbing caches on the way there and back. TFTC.
A lovely 10km walk this morning to pick up some animal facts. Lots of mist, lots of roos, and lots of familiar sights along some trails we haven't walked for awhile. Mrs Frozen Feet did the hike in true frozen feet style wearing only sandals... and jumping in muddy puddles.
Got quite stumped with this one for awhile, and the clue made little sense to us, but eventually found the cache very nicely hidden!

Still leisurely touring South Australia after the Mega
Currently camped at Mt Crawford forest we awoke to being blanketed in fog.
So after a late start it was decided Mr Felix would complete the walk and pick up the walking half of this newly formed circuit including the k9 caches that we had wanted to tackle back in April, but ran out of time. With Mrs Felix being chauffeur and dropping him at one end and collecting him at the other
A great winter day, with the fog finally clearing into a sunny afternoon a nice forest walk, saw some huge Kangaroos and also some other cachers out on the trail.

An overcast day with the promise of rain and I decided to hike through Mt Crawford. Yay me. It was a constant drizzle for most of the day but I carried on and actually really enjoyed my hike up here. It's been a long time since my last visit so today was a welcome reminder of how beautiful nature up here on the Heysen trail really is. As I trek back to the geo mobile I am wet, muddy and bleeding. What an awesome day! C TFTC (Generic log for this part of my journey as there was quite a few caches)

TFTC some great veiws alot of bushbashing a great day had thanks for the cach team Jansons
Headed back to Crawford today to get these ones of our to do list, i swear we approached these from the wrong direction making it a 3.5 terrain rating, once we found the first one we stuck to the track and life became a lot easier, as we arrived it looked like it might rain so i packed the ponchos "just incase" which paid of as the rain did come ( more a constant drizzle) and the ponchos saved us from becoming very wet, we nearly managed all of them except one : ( it was a good walk through here and we spotted a few roos along the way. TFTC
Took the bike out for a spin thru Mount Crawford forest for a bit of caching. Beautiful day and a few tricky tracks. TFTC.
Thanks for the hide. This one had me walking in circles but got there in the end. Thanks for the series.
We have been camping at the nearby Rocky Paddock camping ground and spending our days finding the local geocaches before we set sail again for the SA Mega event. Today we decided to take a morning stroll in the hills with our own geo-K9 in tow. We really enjoyed finding this series of geocaches.
Thanks Team Jansons

Well the kids didn't find this one I did and lucky too the wife looked here and didn't see it tftc
Must have walked kilometres today and have a few more to walk but loving it anyway.
A great day for a walk in this part of Mt Crawford...21deg, sunshine and a slight breeze. Perfect! An easy find to-day. Thanks Team Jansons
The hint took a bit of imagination but we got the cache TNLNSL TFTC Team Jansons!
A sunny afternoon, the need for a walk and so off we went to do this great series. We hunted all over the place for this one and found it in the last place we looked. Took keyring left marble TFTC
Found on a lovely easter sunday out with a bunch of friends and the kids, all enjoying a great walk. TFTC and a great trail to enjoy.
A great little series of caches along the Heysen Trail. Terrific.
Needed the hint because MY GPS unit could stay still.
Thanks for the cache, Team Jansons

Found it during a beautiful afternoon walk we saw sheep, cows, calves,a fox, kangaroos, a wild goat and a deer- we also saw emu tracks and poo but no emus! Thanks for bringing us up here. TFTC
Looked for this one on our way out and couldn't find it. The hint was rather obscure so we decided to think on it while we went along to the rest of this series. On our way back we found this one easily enough. Clever hide - and I think we might've figured out the clue, too. TFTC
TFTC. Nicely hidden. This is the first in a series that is well worth doing, but do not start out as late as we did with rain closing in fast. Liked this hide, reminded GeoMary of a friend, and so, a special item was left in her honour.

Out for a nice walk with the geo-mutt to do the series. Beautiful day! Took toy, left stickers. Cheers & TFTC!
We found this one when spending a weekend camping in the Mt Crawford forest - one our favourite places to visit. We decded that we could ride our mountain bikes in search of a few caches - the K9-GPS series. We rode from our campsite and came in the back way (around the back of Fromms) and the Kettle boys enjoyed the challenge of seeing how far up that hill they could ride (some made it most of the way up, others of us, walked the bikes up the steepest section). Having made it to the top, it way a short but fun ride to the cache which was found easily. TFTC - we enjoyed it.
Glad we had run out of time (and daylight) the last time we were here doing the others in the series as it was a good excuse to come back again today. The geomutt especially loved the walk. We came up by way of pups, then continued on past this and past the next in the series, then back down through the middle of the pine forest to Fromms and the geomobile.

I was in Mt Crawford Forest for a Mountain Bike Oreinteering event and a short caching ride afterwards. I always enjoy the opportunity to visit this area of Mt Crawford, it's always pretty, and todays was no exception.
No more bushwalking for me, it was cycling back to Starkey's.
