This cache has been frequently muggled.
I new completely different cache nearby will be established very soon.

Recovering from shoulder surgery is taking months. I have a new location for the cache that should be less tempting to muggles. It requires me getting in an awkward position to install the cache. I should be able to put the plan into action within 2 weeks.
Checked for the cache a few days ago. It has vanished again. Amazing, since it was so well concealed. I hoped to replace it on 27/11/12, but my computer crashed and I had shoulder surgery the next day, It will be a few weeks before I can regaine mobility and establish a new cache.
Searched for about 20 mins, but couldn't seem to find... Maybe I was searching too high up though? I'll give it another go at some point...
Had to time it carefully here as just as I had the goods in hand, several muggles of all ages came right past me so a little diversion was necessary. Once gone, log quickly signed and onto the next - loved the hide!
MTFTC and for the visit to this lovely harbour view!
MTFTC and for the visit to this lovely harbour view!
quick find, but a great job on the camo - agree it should make it difficult for it to get muggled! TFTC
ROS had time to fill in due to the VERY late arrive of MAR's plane. As it was late at light we knew there would not be a muggle problem but were not coinfident of finding this in the dark. However after a little search and with the help of the hint the cache was soon found. Great effort on the cano which earns a favourite point from us. Well done. TFTC
last two visits it had been muggled, but this time success. You will have to be strong muggle to steal it again !
A real nice hide. I initaily moved the cache out of the way whilst searching the area. Fortunately, I returned to the spot and did a more thorough search second time around.

I had trouble getting the lid back on after finding this cute hide. I hope it is OK.
Had a really good look around and around went and had a sit down and was just about to give up but tried again and yes, really great hide.
Although I have lived in Auckland for the majority of my life, this was the first time I have ever been to this beach. The camo was pretty cool and must have been hard to make. TFTC.
Good camo. It must have taked a bit of time to make. I had to wait out a couple of benchwarmers prior to replacing the hide.
Looked around for a bit, clambered around the rocks. Was a couple sitting close by so didn't loiter around.

Cache has been muggled for the 2nd time. Local small children must have enjoyed playing under the steps. Cache has been replaced and re positioned, now right on the high tide line and disguised.

Quick find, but I had to wait until the two women on the bench head off. TFTC and a nice view (low tide, sunny, blue sky) ! Greetings from Germany

nobody at this beautiful spot on Good Friday! All sitting on the motorway, maybe. NINO TFTC
200 find completed within a year of starting geocaching. Lovely little beach. Dropped off travel bug. TFTC
11.05am. No problem writing on the wet log, used my normal 'Parker' and it worked just fine.
The cache itself might need some TLC as the lid had been broken and I found the cache laying on the ground with the lid still attached to it's holder.
Clipped them back together and replaced but I'm not sure how long the lid can hold the weight.

I have been away on holiday for three weeks. Will attend to the cache in a few days, dry the paper and install a new container. A pencil or Mitsubishi Power tank pen will still write on the wet paper.
Tricky to find in the dark, but got it eventually. Logbook was very wet, but the waterproof paper was holding out well. Dried the log, the inside of the plastic bag, and the inside of the tin as best I could. also added a little raincoat to the cache to hopefully keep it a little drier. Needs a good sunbathe on a sunny day.
A beautiful spot early in the morning to enjoy the harbour with the tide in. TFTC
Quick find here. Nicely done! Cache was very wet inside and so was the logbook! Managed to sign the log ok though. TFTC!
Replaced rusty cache with a new container. Not much room for any swappable items.
We Revisited the Rocky Retreat this evening, having taken two attempts to find Tramper Ted's version. We pretty quickly decided where the hide was likely to be, but could not spot it. We retreated to the car for another read of the cache page, and decided to have one last look. This time the cache was spotted pretty quickly. The tin is getting pretty rusty, and is staining the plastic bag and paper, but the waterproof log is fine. A nice peaceful spot here this evening, with the tide full in. TFTC.

One of my first finds. Loved it! Nice location and hidden in a good place. Thanks for the Cache!
Couldn't resist while in the area as had found Tramper Ted's original. A family was having lunch nearby when we arrived, so we sat on other side and ate ours. Unfortunaltey they hadn't moved by the time we had finished, but with Mrs UGTME trying to be a decoy, I had a look while they were looking the other way. Noticed a piece of paper on ground, then saw the cache. It was open. Managed to grab the log book bag, but not the cache. At this point the nearby Mum And Dad rolled over and were looking our way, there was no way I could replace everything. In the end there was nothing for it, as we were looking very conspicuous, but to leave and come back later. Made sure cache was closed tightly. TFTC
Was out for an evening stroll... Wandered around the coast line from the "Orpheus" cache as the tide was out and the evening was quite pleasant due to the rain stopping!
Found GZ easy enough... Nicely deserted... But due to the fast approaching darkness had some trouble finding the cache itself.
Got slightly mislead by the magnetic description, had thought it would be an easy "find by feel"... it wasn't until I got down nice and low and got my cellphone out to use as a torch that I easily spotted the cache (note: if it hadn't been dark, I would have seen it straight away! [:p])
Also, the cache was a little water logged, but thankfully, the log was still nice and dry!

Story time! Haha, third time ipiphi and I have been past this spot, fortunately it's just around the corner. The first was a decent search in all the obvious spots which reaped no reward, we did however note that GZ was on top of a man hole, the cache was magnetic, the hint was dirty knees and the entrance to the storm water drain running under the man hole was easily accessible ( if you were willing to get dirty knees ). We thought this was a bit of a long shot with the low 1.5/1.5 but felt like exploring anyway so we came past a second time on the way back from another caching trip with slightly older clothing, a sense of adventure and the thought that as slim as the chances were and as cruel as it would be, it might just be an absolutely epic hide. It didn't happen, surprise surprise, so with these failings it was chucked on the watch list as a wait and see. And well, you can guess the rest, having been replaced it ended up being an easy find on a one-cache-trip this evening.
Thanks for the cache, and all the entailed adventure Gotta love it. Cheers!

This is a great wee park, we envision coming back with a book and a picnic basket. Even though the day was windy, (we almost lost a cap to the sea) there we are few sunbathing muggles near GZ. We pretended to do the same even though the location of the cache is not the logical sunbathing spot...once again "cache whisperer" proves he doesn't need me.

Out caching with the FF this afternoon in the light rain. Stopped by here on the way home to turn the frown into a smile. Easy find, even without the GPS as the cache was exactly where I thought it should have been last time. Caches are a lot easier to find when they are actually there. Cheers for the maintenance effort on this cache!
It is not a difficult cache. I am away in USA cycle touring the whle Atlantic Coast until Labour Weekend, so will temporarily disable this cach until I return.
No joy today. Thought I found a pretty likely spot to attach a jar but it was nix cache. Maybe I am missing something or maybe it needs a check.
The earlier version of this gave me heaps of trouble... maybe 3 or 4 visits before I found it. Not this one, found on my first attempt. Thanks.
Nice hide. Enjoyed sitting on the seat taking in the vista while I signed the log.

Last cache of the day, after a Sunday outing with Team Welsh. A nicely hidden cache, thanks for this one. TB out.
Remember talking to the owner of this cache at the Queens Birthday Orienteering Carnival so has been on our to do list for a while. Nicely placed cache. Thanks
I seem to recall that I had to have a coupled of goes at finding the original cache near here. I almost thought the same would happen to this one until I reread the cache description more carefully and changed my angle of attack. TFTC, Biggles.

Thanks Mapper Ted, nice hide, had me on all fours looking in the obvious spots first, 5 mins later it was in hand.

Same place as I looked last week, only they owner had removed it about an hour before.
Thanks for putting it back.
Nice spot.

Cache container has been replaced and a more waterproof attaching system devised. Cache information modified accordingly.
Cache has been temporarily removed for drying out and re-establishing in a more watertight arrangement. Should be back in place by late Tuesday 24th May.
I'm surprised that it has got wet. I thought the location was waterproof. The log paper is thoroughly waterproof and will survive. Will check in a few days and see if it can be waterproofed.
13:00 Found the first Rocky Retreat about 18 months ago. Took longer than it should here. Another cacher 'DazndKy' turned up and after I asked him whether he was looking for a cache (The GPSr in hand was a dead giveaway) we went about serching for the cache. After a short search, I found the cache we signed the log. Had a chin wag about all things caching and then we went our separate ways.
Cache is wet and log is very damp.
Nice to meet you Darren and TFTC Mapper Ted.

Pulled up nearby and blast there was a person near GZ. Wondered at first if it was a fellow cacher but when they went to leave I followed the GPS to a likely spot. Then the person came back, sprung. Turns out it was Paul. A joint hunt ensued and the cache was found. T'was great to meet a bluedahlia. TFTC Mapper Ted.
Out with EatOrBeEaten doing a few caches and found ourselves in the area. Having done the previous version of this one I found it much easier like some of the previous finders have mentioned. Starting to collect some water but the logs are indeed waterproof enough for writing on at the moment. TFTC
Much simpler to find than the old one, and without the frustration one gets to enjoy the spot as well.

Only a very short detour on my way home so just had to pick this one up. Even without a GPS I just went off the map and the clue. I liked the old cache nearby as it was one my my earlie finds and took several goes.
Saw this one show up last night and I had the urge to pop by as it is less than 1km from my house. Wife said no hang out and watch a movie with me. So that makes me second to find! I knew exactly where to look when I arrived but there was a muggle hanging out on a bench nearby so I had to look busy for a few minutes before I could make the grab. TFTC in a nice clever spot!
A while after dinner, and having bored our guests to sleep, I took a look at this one. Had mistakenly thought, when it was published, that it was somewhere else with tidal access. Hadn't seen 10cc for a while so arranged to go find it together. Arrived and made a quick find of the nicely hidden and well secured container, and surprised by a blank logbook hours after publication. Completed the formalities, replaced the cache and then hung around for a bit of a chin wag about various things caching. Joint FTF , TFTC!!!
I was in Viaduct Basin at the Snapdragon bar when FMZ suggested we go for drive to find this one. Arrived at GZ for an easy find and joint FTF. No disrespect to the previous cache owners but this placement is significantly improved on the least one. TFTC
