I was out for a duck trying to find a cache here !!
There were a lot of ducks hanging around waiting to be fed !!
Why doesn't someone turn up with a loaf of bread ?
This isn't doing my Anatidaephobia any good [:o]
Run away !!

I'm not putting this as a DNF, as it was a cold and stormy night, having rained on and off through the day, and as I approached GZ the sprinklers came on to water the already soaked lawn. What is the use of a lake with signs banning swimming, fishing, diving and boating? Thanks for bringing me to this park though.
Found during another fun caching/4WDing weekend with TWDG and the Parrots near Peterborough. Track exploration done for the day, it was time to explore the town instead. TFTC
A nice little park that I hadn't come across before.
Nice quick and easy find, and we replaced the log sheet as well.

With Are We There Yet! strolling around Peterborough whilst taking a break from 4WDing nearby. Thanks matmob.
A nice recreational park. Found with geopal "How Do They Know?" while in Peterborough for a 4WD weekend. Thanks matmob.
Thanks Mattmob. Great hide. Look up look down no can't find. Step back look where have you not checked. It's tricky so enjoy the hunt
We'd previously thought this was the town cemetery as we'd driven past the front fenceline . How wrong we were [B)]!
Excellent park with lots of scavenging ducks . Must stop here for lunch next time we're up this way (and remember to bring some bread) .
TNLNSL.
Thanks again Matmob.

Walked from information center. What lovely old homes. All the locals were feeding the ducks in there PJ,s 3pm. Also after getting the sticky pad out if the cache I collected the $5 in the bottom. TFTC. Easer than the train ones around town.
Easy find, got accosted by the ducks but we had no bread with us.... The logs are jammed in the container so was hard to get one out to sign. The container needs emptying of all the paper & a new log added. TFTC
I have no idea which bit of greenery we needed to search for this as my gps was pointing "in there". Too much green and not enough accuracy for me to pinpoint the cache unfortunatley. But we enjoyed the park and puzzled over the pond's edges which had a regular zig-zag bank ?? interesting
South Australia 2013 with Sol de Lune. We headed off on 12/4 and arrived home on 28/4. The trip was to visit the SA series so more time could be spent at the Mega itself next year. We did a huge variety of caching around Murray Bridge, the Mid North, Yorke Peninsula and Whyalla Region. Apart from one wet night and two wet days we were able to spend heaps of time caching.
This is the beginning of the journey home, we really only had half a day caching before the driving began to take over. We drove from Whyalla to Peterborough doing what caches we could as we went. Everyone has done a great job of placing a great variety of caches and we had a great day. I am not sure what we could have missed here ! Oh well.
Thanks.

28.3.13 Sujuhajetichedana found it. Lovely park, very friendly geese. Pulled the white rabbit out of the hat and left a string of sapphires. Thanks for the cache!
The ducks must have been hungry as they went everywhere we went. There certainly a large variety of them here. SL TFTC
Nice spot, never had visited without that cache.

Late log for cache found yesterday 30/10/12, Hey Matmob thanks heaps FTF! Can't explain how much fun my husband & I had at this beautiful park & if it wasn't for your cache, we wouldn't have known this place existed nor would we have had the fun with the ducks or the fat waddling white geese. As we were on the last leg of our road trip & had bread in the car, a great time was had by all...even hubby Lewis who enjoyed the cache find when his wife was preoccupied with geese, ducklings & our now favourite bird-apostle birds. I geocached your caches matmob & must say I'm impressed by the amount you have placed & hope we can find more in our travels. Tftc
Easy find in a beautiful green spot in an arid area. Big white goose was a keen muggle. TFTC.
Almost missed out on this one but after a last look came up with the goods. This is a wonderful park off the main drag to take a break, let the kids run around, have a picnic or to just watch the ducks.
A quick find while my daughters played on the nearby playground. The pictures show the duck egg I thought was initially the cache.
Found and logged at 11:50,
7 finds for the day on my trip from Wilmington to Oola Wirra, On my home from Darwin via the west coast and Broken Hill

Nice park.
No muggles in rain this morning!
Removed tallyho papers, alas log is saturated and hard to get out.
Wont be long before it is mash.
Thanks

At 10.00h, this was the 33rd find of our Broken Hill holiday. TN Left - Slimy snakes SL TFTC - Unka Dave
Was making a long leg from Glendambo to Loxton grabbing caches along the way.
There was a local feeding the ducks at dusk today. TFTC.

Found without too much fuss. Cache log is a bit damp and may need a 'tighter' container.
The ducks were really happy to see us until they realised we didn't have any bread for them

Found it, Muggle free day, swarmed by the Ducks again, Wow they have got bigger since our last visit, TFTHSL cheers from diggers09.
Great park for a family outing. Bring some bread etc for the ducks and tweezers are helpful in getting log sheet out of cache container. Thanks matmob for the cache.
Found it No. 5079 ... Mrs TR feed the ducks while I found the cache ... TNLN ... TFTC matmob
A top spot. GPS not settling very well but there was lots of evidence of people searching so after a short while the cache was found. The ducks came to visit en masse but soon left when we had nothing to give them. Thanks.
found it while geo grandkids were feeding the ducks.easy find as it was wet and no muggles. TFTC.

Found the container found previously by "Froghoppin". Very neatly tucked away. No muggles today only the ducks came looking for a feed.

Nice Little Park, Swarmed by Ducks, looking for a feed, discovered apostle birds, did not expect to see them here, spotted lots of them down the Riverland, maybe a clue would help next time. May return for a find, one day.

Too many mugglers out and about.
Have to come back another time

A previous resident of two years, was fun to revisit the area, found after a short search, did not see the replacement container but found the original with all the logs safely tucked away, found between showers of rain leaving the place empty of muggles TNLN TFTC
Once again a HUGE thank you to chrispy89 for placing the replacement. If this disappears again we may have to reconsider placement location.
searched high and low, didnt find the cache but i found the geocaching rules that i believe was in the box. you may need to check this cache because i dont believe it is there.
i did call a friend who has found the cache before, but it wasnt where she explained it was.

Thought we'd have a quick look even tho the geocachers we've been following in Peterborough said it was missing. Had to wrap it up when Muggles arrived.
Seriously, this took me WAY too long to find. Sure, it is a camo'd cache, but it isn't really that hard! I looked in ALL the wrong spots, and I swear I looked in the right spot at least 2ce.
I had an awkward moment when a muggle family walked past while I was crouching in the bushes. I beat a hasty retreat and returned shortly after.
Thanks matmob!

quick find... very surprised to see no water in the pond wonder what they r doing whether they r trying to fix the ponds up. Never in my life have i seen it empty bit sad really hoping when i come back the water is there and all the ducks are back home as there was only a few there today ... tftc !!! left tb
Found in the last place I looked. Not the first though. It took a while. Some days your mojo deserts you at the wrong moment. Nice park. I have not been up here before.
After retrieving the cache we found ourselves surrounded by a family of muggles so we had to take the cache with us and dropped it off later. Quite a bit of work being done here. TFTC
Not a sole around when I worked my way over to GZ. Make sure you dodge the duck and geese doings while following the arrow. The cache was safe and well tucked up. Our thanx to matmob and clear skies over this park.
Spent a lot of time looking but did not discover it at all. Pity the park seems to be now "left to its own divices" and little or no maintenance is being carried out.
What a grand old looking park, with a grand old sounding name! Seems a bit out of place in 'modern' Peterborough. A quick find in the dark for silver. Thanks matbob for the cache.
