Chillibutts, It was ANZAC evening an I thought that I would try to do your Eclipse are better cache but alas it has been archived. I had seen it in the flesh previously but wasn't in a position to retrieve. I was impressed with the cache and concept but left it too late. Ah well that is me all over, i procrastinate too much. I need to get your caches when i have the opportunity. Oh well there are plenty more eclipses in the sea/city. Thanks for the fun you provide in our fair city.
Sad to to see this one go ... Had searched this one for the larger portion of a lunch break no joy. Came back a week later with 1/2 of Team Tojo .... and Bam! saw it in minutes ... but alas both suited up ... we couldn't make the official find.
Even if I couldn't log it ... great hide!
Thanks chillibutts for getting me out of the office! and providing us some smiles!

Well, here is a free spot in the CBD. Ready, set, go!
Thanks all for the funny logs and stories.

After getting a few strange looks from people, as I tried my very best to reach it and failed, trusty other half used his height expertise to get it. Definitely one of our favorites! (+1 favorite point)
We didn't read the clue so after searching through them all, in order, it head to be the last -_-
Fantastic cache! Thank you!

BEST CACHE SO FAR!! This one really takes the cak(ch)e ... We looked in the complete wrong area at first but soon found the bounty. No ladder needed - just a good push up onto a near by level goooood luck
Yet another DNF for me today but I didn't really give it too much of a try. I had a quick look while passing using the phone which kept wandering all over the place and I didn't manage to even spot it. 5:30 on a week day probably wasn't the best of times either. Looking as sat photos when I got home I must have been way too far down the lane. I'll have to come back for a proper attempt.
I spotted where this one must be but did not have the arms to reach it. The nearby muggles prevented me from attempting a more aggressive retrieval. Thanks anyway!
Well, we looked for this a year or so ago. Spotted but could not reach even with the small one on my shoulders.
Muutze comes along, spots it and points out that I was looking in the wrong place and could not see it at all.
With his help we now have it logged.
Thanks for the challenge.

Exciting and interesting cache, were able to attend with someone who had the right tool. This one gets a fav.
Nice work thanks to chillibutts.

Had bought a new geotoy - a telescopic ladder and was keen to try it out. Made a driveby to the Central market and picked up Freddo, Bruce, Honeysucker and RVgeos and off we went.
Pulled into the street and parked about 30 metres down the lane. The time was 9:15 on Friday night and Rundle Street was packed.
Like clockwork, the ladder was out of its bag, extended, Bruce shot up, grabbed the right one and was down for us all to log.
Bruce was back up and down the ladder retracted and we were back in the car and trying to drive out when the plain clothes arrived looking around.
One of them looked at the dash lights and roof lights on my car and decided it wasnt us and we were away.
A great adventure and a favourite point for us. TFTC.

I thought easy cache before heading home, I said eclipses are easy, I said they won't take long, I said I could do it alone. *facepalm* Suppose I'll come back with the trusty help of the vertically gifted boyfriend -_-
Omg thats a hard one had to climb up high. Found this one b4 but couldn't get it.
Found during our big night-to-dawn caching marathon with Team Pedal Pushers, Sparkey25 and Whites on Windsor.
What a brilliant idea! Imagination plus!! Second go, we did it, amazing. Well done to sparkey25. Very nervous as people and taxis go by, no police thank goodness.

Another nite time cache with teams sparky 25 jeffeddy and pedal pushers tftc great job
Currently out on a dusk to dawn caching expedition through the more muggle central areas, with jeffeddy, team pedal pushers and whites on Windsor. Thanks for your cache
After 10.5hrs of driving from Warrnambool to Adelaide yesterday, I had 2 whole days to go caching in Adelaide so I had to choose where I hit very wisely. I decided that one day I would hit some target caches within the general confines on Adelaide, and the next day I would attempt to knock off a decent portion of the Wandering Heroes series. Today was the day to hit the Adelaide CBD and various other areas with specific caches that I wanted to find. A great day all up finding some of the best caches Adelaide has to offer. Unfortunately, we were unable to find this one today. This was the 2nd DNF of 4 for the day.
This is kinda a DNF, but not really. In saying that, it certainly isn't a find!
We spent about 15mins looking a bit further up the alley for an Eclipse tin hidden in a clever way, all to no avail. After admitting defeat, we began to walk back to the car when we noticed it. This has to be one of the boldest, most clever and most brilliant hides I have ever seen in my whole caching career. Not in a position to log it today with so many muggles about but I can still appreciate how amazing this cache this. Well done Chillibutts, this was well above my expectations.
Some day I will find it. Before then, I guess I will just have to log a DNF!

Logged from Nullarbor Roadhouse. This is our cache for the day so that we can claim another cache requiring us to have a cache on Christmas day. I was in Adelaide with him when we checked this one out, the nice man in a nearby store offered us a ladder but it came up a little short. Hubby went into the city on his own to grab some caches while town is quite. Then he is heading to Honeysuckers event for orphans. SL TFTC
Found at 04:30 on Dec. 16, this is the first half of my (hopefully) personal best record for distance cached in one day. I should be 14,000km away in Calgary, Alberta, Canada by 3:00pm Dec 16, 2012. No tools required as there are convenient aids within quite easy reach. Thanks for one of the best urban hides I've come across. Sad my 7 week trip down under is over. TFTC!
Was out wondering and stumbled across this one, am going to have a return effort on this to complete the challenge
Very clever cache though
Goes in the book of must tell other caches about

Found at 11:00 with Olga (Medusa)
We have waited a long time for the right opportunity to get in to this one. Tonight, we made an extra effort, as it is our 3500th find, and Olga is heading overseas in a couple of days. So, with ladder loaded onto the car we headed into town, expecting to be confronted, but nobody seemed to even notice us. Students walking up the alley, and other pedestrians on Rundle did not even pause even though we were under a bright light. I wonder if the anyone monitors that camera.
I didn't read the clue, but happened to pick the right one first try.
Thanks for a fun cache.

I LOVE THIS CACHE. It looked like I took the same approach as many other cachers judging by the damage to the 'elevator'. TFTC
Read all the logs for this one a while back and put on the must find list, when in more company. Tonight was that night and we made a quick grab. TFTC
A nice cache to find with friends. Found with Bek-theraccoon, Alex-thesquirrel and Lord Stompy. Straightened up the letters nicely .
Searching the city for a nearby cache, we found one in an unusual place. Another Chillibutts challenge is afoot!
Way up high and in plain sight, this one will have to wait until night. A leap of faith is what this one took!
Most impressed with this Chillibutts cache! In plain sight, very creative, even a bit cheeky :p This is our kind of cache!

I'd like to say that I was stealthy with this one, especially since it was a Saturday night, but this is not the case. Out to dinner with friends, I started talking to an old acquaintance I had not seen in a while about geocaching. Pretty soon the inevitable question of the nearest came up and I mentioned this one, just across the road, but was unreachable for me.
My friend, being well over 6'6" took matters into his own hands, crossed the street, climbed onto a structure with many 'Danger' markings on it and quickly grabbed the cache while smiling straight at the security camera! Fortunately there were only a few muggles around at that exact moment, and they clearly weren't interested in him. Quick sign and this extremely creative cache was back in place. Exceptional work as usual, TFTC chillibutts!

I finally had the opportunity to go through town on the weekend. Was still quite busy, so it was more muggle minimisation, than avoidance. One girl gave a peculiar look. The green thing helped. Tftc
this cache is very near to our hotel. we decided to look for it the evening we arrived but we did not have any success then. we returned this morning (after reading all the logs and have seen the pics) and it was prety clear now what we had to do! mr. foolish5 was doing the exercise while mrs foolish5 had to take some pictures. it was fun! many thanks and greetings from switzerland!
Well ,what an adventure we had this morning retrieving this cache.
Can't say anything better than Mogni and KittyKat who were with me in previous logs.
We had a ball!!!!!!
took TB's and GC to visit.

My 20th cache for the night: by night's end I had done the locus cache at 27 different caches while out with mogni, earthlight and ~*KittyKat*~
After stopping at The Pancake Kitchen for an early morning breakfast we just HAD to come and get this cache!!
However even my new caching tool was not quite enough to allow ~*KittyKat*~ to make the retrieval, so we had to locate another caching tool
A very nice young man named Peter laughed at us with our ladder as he walked past. That was until he ended up up it retrieving Eclipse tins for us while we all crowded around and held the ladder (that was our excuse, in reality, it was a nice view from where we stood)
Peter even climbed back up again to create words from the tins, so he must have enjoyed the moment and the experience
I think his words were: 'I can believe that you are in town at 3am, I can even believe that you are trying to get something but I cannot believe that you have a ladder with you! Do you just walk around town carrying your ladder?'
Hopefully Peter and his video taking friend will become geocachers after we told them all about it.
This was one very memorable cahe, if only for the amount of laughter emanating from all 6 of us as the cache was retrieved, logged and replaced into Hello Smiley.

Wow we had a ball getting this cache at about 3 in the morning. We were making the assault when a couple of lads walked by, wondering what we were doing and how did we get a ladder here....
So one of them climbed up, and we quickly had cache in hand, and may have completely shocked a couple of locals. Many laughs had by all. Police just drove by and let us do our thing, wish all of them would do that..... but that is in another log.

We came. We saw. We needed caches.
We went left.
We changed out minds.
We went right.
We did a U- turn. And another 20 U- turns
We went backwards down a one- way street.
We went around and around and around and around and and around and around a round about.
We replaced a cache.
We dropped a cache.
We needed coffee.
We lost our sh!t. Literally.
We found it.
We needed more coffee.
We went In One End, Out The Other End.
We had coffee.
We got Lost In Space.
We got found by SAPOL.
We went up the ladder.
We chatted up some phone boxes.
We found a nano in a permapine post.
We found more nanos in permapine posts.
We saw a ***** doing his *** ON a car.
We gagged.
We are not men.
We carry ladders in our back pockets.
We (i) SMELL HOLEY and sign the log, and now eclipse says HELLO SMILEY once more [8)]
Muggle deception technique #84:
- If you can't refuse them, just confuse them, that will allow you to use them to choose them!

Found as part of Freddo's 10/10 Cito Event cache to clean up Adelaide.
Was with Stanleys, Hurrtle, and SA Mystery inc.
I had brought all the gear with me to grab this one but was beaten to the punch by Mt Lioness so joined in all the fravolity at GZ.
My there were a lot of geocachers wandering the city.

Wonderful new instalment of climbable green box meant the Lioness served the caching community well today by climbing up to get it for a great handful of people!
Then I broke my retractable magnet thingy... Not happy Jan!

Had not included this one in our plan for the day but our caching buddies had an implement and a backpack full of tools so we followed along. In the end no tools were required as when we arrived a large group was assembled at gz and the cache was in someone's hands. Signed the log and handed it on to the next person.
We all stood and watched the replacement of the cache and had a chuckle at the signage.
Thanks chillibutts

Since WD had come prepared with a tool just for this cache we thought it good to join in and get another cache off of the CBD map.
In the end it was Mr Wibble who made the climb, and then came down on a banana peel. At the end of it all he didn't even get a smiley as they have already done the cache!
Cache returned only moments before the constabulary went past.

Well a big group of cachers went on a city assault today aiming for 10/10, luckily we were walking along with an agile Lioness and a Hippy Chick all too eager to do a spiderman up the wall. Signed log and passed on to the next big group that arrived just after us. Glad to get this one finally off of my 'must do' list!
I've had a special tool prepared for this cache for a couple of months now. Just never seemed to get into town to try it out. But today was the day.
We gathered at GZand read the rearranged tins with some amusement. But when it came time to perform, I found that my tool was too short. I seem to get that a lot. I should have responded to those emails that offer geocaching tool enhancement products. But thankfully the SA government have provided a performance booster at GZ, so Mr Wibble leapt onto it, tool in hand, to retrieve the cache for us!

We visited with a large number of others.
Fortunately there's now a stepping stool in place, to make life easier.
Even then, it took a Mountain Lioness to find it (and she got a knock on the head as a reward).

well I cant beleive that the cache is where it is. Its going to take some work to retreive. I,ll be turning to the head of Team Canyonero for help ingetting this one.
After being muggled out of two caches and a no find on another, upon arriving at this one it was about to continue. But you never get if you do not ask - couple of tradies down the street with a ladder on the roof were very obliging making it a quick find. Thanks boys.
Found but not retrieved, so I guess it doesn't count yet! Think we have to wait til we grow up a bit to sign the log. Nice idea, we liked it a lot. Mrs CZ can now enjoy watching others try to get this one from her work window.
This was simply one of the best caches ever! We looked and looked and couldn't work out how to get the booty. TK2 and GumAko with GumNut were as perplexed as we were. Eventually, Mr Gordon Patrick Samuel turned into spiderman and we had the prize in hand. We could not help but wonder just what the people at the other end of the camera think about these antics! The people across the road at the cafe certainly were entertained. Thanks for this great cache!
Found after the SA Geocaching Event, searching for those who received accoloades. Must say that I liked this one. In fact more than that I loved it! I really loved it. Everything about it - (including that Jim got it down spiderman like while I and others waited below to sign the log.)

Sneaky Squeaky Cartel Boss on a Rampage to hunt the spice of Chilli
When the Chilli gets tough the tough gets BLOODY GREAT......
I the Sneaky cartel boss could never have got this stash if i hadn't came up with a concoction like i did.... with the invisible cloak and flashing light in the afternoon you would never have known there was a deal going down. i would have been there for about 15 min and not one person asked me what i was doing...
now back to the Chilli cartel? i still haven't found out the secret of your spice but I'm getting close

Went for a walk in my lunch break and wanted to check this one out even though I knew some type of tool was needed.......hmmm I could see it, but not sure how I will ever get away with trying to get that one in the busy lunch time rush! Would love to know what images the camera catches in the retrieval of this one. Ill be back, but will need a strategy first.

Just happened to have the right equipment in the Lost Wandering mobile and just happened to have an orange safety vest too so Mr. Lost Wanderer made the find. No-one looked twice as he went about his business. I mean, who really needs to be up there at 10pm on a Tuesday night? Thanks for the cache chilli's.
Out with HGL for the night grabbing a few more challenging caches.
Pulled up to this one not knowing what we were in for, so after a quick look and finding the cache, it was time for the workers to get to work. HGL looked good as a supervisor while the worker used a ladder to do some work overhead.
All this late at night and know body took any notice, we could have been terrorist.
Great cache, loved it

Wow, impressed is an under statement. Waterlogged and I were about town tonight tackling some of the more technical cases. Looking around Waterlogged spotted the prize and the mission was on, I'm not sure what two work-men were doing off Rundle Street late at night, however it looked very official! We signed the log and did not try to be more creative - Yello lives on! Thanks for a memorable find!
One WEIRD cache. Retrieved in 2 secs flat. Terrain? Ha, not for me. Yellow smhile - ha ha ha. Replaced even quicker. Great cache, I love it.
Found on a quiet Sunday morning with Lava 12, Team Waldron and White dog gang. We were a little worried when the inspectors turned up but they ignored us long enough for Team Waldron to grab the cache. Nice hide.
Quick check up and someone has tried to be creative and re arrtanged the pieces... also some bits are MIA, but the cache is still there!!! PHEW. "Hello smiley"
WOOOOO HOOOOOO! I finally found a time when this cache was not swarming with muggles! Well, actually, I found a time when the cache was swarming with construction workers AND council workers, but more on that in a sec.
I got up at 6 am. Chillibutts, you got me out of bed at 6 am. This doesn't happen. I work night shifts, so mornings just don't exist for me. Anywho, my last attempts at 3 am hadn't worked becuase of the local club, so I approached the night from a different angle.
I got there (coffee in hand) and set up the ladder. There were a few construction workers all the way down the road; it looked like they were having a smoko. With no one else in sight, I dashed up the ladder and retrieved cache. Dropped down, signed, sealed, and got ready to replace. As I was about to head back up the ladder, an entire team of street sweepers roared past, giving me strange looks. I realised that there was I in a camo jumper, with a ladder leaning up against the wall. Ooops! They passed, and I dashed up, replaced cache, and got back down to find one of the construction workers looking at me from the bonnet of my car, 5 meters away. !!!
He asked whether the cache was 'street art or sumfin.' At that point, I was kinda busted, so I gave him the spiel - 'using a multi-billion dollar satellite array to find tupperwares in the bush.' As it turns out, he had noticed a LOT of people coming and climbing ladders in the last few days, and was VERY curious. Hopefully he will pass the word, and the rest of the tradeys will stay away.
He DID mention, however, that APPLE bar is only open Wed,thur and saturday nights. So if you are going for a late night run, any other night will be better.
Thanks Chillibutts for a VERY frustrating cache!

early morning raid with Team Waldron, Trail06 & Lava12. Was raining just enough to be annoying, but nice & quiet at 7.30am on a Sunday.
TFTC chillibutts, love ya work!!

With Team Waldron, Trail06 and The Whitedoggang. Good thing is it raining today as it meant we got the lane to ourselves. It made us smile when we saw your cache.
Thanks chillibutts for the cache.
Thanks chillibutts for the cache.
With Lava12, Trail06, and WhiteDogGang.
Somehow I ended up the ladder and we needed one of Lava12's tools to make the retrieval.
Getting it back was a little bit harder.

This cache is fast becoming my nemesis. I have been there 3 times now, the first time without any way of getting to cache, and the 2nd and third times late at night. Did you know that 'apple bar' is open until very late? Even on a rainy thursday night, there were people coming and going. Also, the taxis queue right up across Synagogue place - impossible to drive in there with my climbing equipment.
My next trick will be to get there before 7am. I might try to do that tomorrow, but hey, it is 2am now - I might just have to get a flash-mob style group together. Anyone interested in some hi-vis action? DD

The hint had me on the wrong side of the street peering at the roof. Then some retail muggles came out and sat right next to where i parked my bike, meaning that i looked very stupid peering around. So i sat down with my phone to read logs while they smoked and instead looked stupid for laighing out loud. Fibally located the cache, but my long-reach tool is not conducive to bike-caching. Will be back!

Hmm, am going to have to come back to this one with gear! Very funny though. I guess I can't "find" it until I've signed the log, can I? I'll favorite it once I've worked out how to sign the log.
