A caching day with the JAMS team suddenly turned into a caching weekend over to Yorke Peninsula with sir_spectre and mogni primarily to attend an event near Maitland gathering some random caches along the way, then heading home for a CITO in Prospect. After stopping in Port Wakefield it was then on to Kulpara for the start of the caching, grabbing all those caches that we never have time to get. Ended up over at Port Victoria before going to the event. After the event it was on to Ardrossan to our overnight accommodation again picking up some more out of the way caches. In the morning we started early as you do and made it back to the CITO at 2:00pm. The weather was great on Saturday and a bit overcast on Sunday but we didn't get rained on. All in all a fun weekend driving along lots of dusty roads, great company and lots of caches found.Up early this morning with a rough plan to keep finding caches in random places.A quick find here. Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe.
Today out and about on 223 of 274 days to get my daily cacher Emerald Using my Garmin Etrex 22X and MacBook Air!Thanks for the cacheTFTC

Found while travelling with COM084. Not much room to pull off so watch the geokids with this one. All is well at GZ. Log signed and replaced as found. TFTC.
Quick find on the way home. Glad we had our torches cause it was quite late and dark. TFTC
After a day caching with sixpak69 whilst KBKL was at work, we went back to Balaklava to pick up KBKL after her shift and head out caching again. I really wanted to do a cache in Gawler which has won a number of awards and has heaps of fav points, so we cached our way in.
A nice quick find after reading the plaque on this one, no issues locating the cache, soon had it signed and replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache placement OzFiresafe and thanks for the company sixpak69 and KBKL.

Tftc found it in pieces on the ground. Fixed it and put it back in one whole piece and where it was found with franson69
Thanks OzFiresafe for this placement and ongoing maintenance. Thanks for bringing me here. I loved the memorial. Cache in good condition, book ok.
Today I had a number in mind, a required number of caches for 2021 and for many reasons, I was a little behind as December rolled through. Today was the last day to bolster some numbers for 2021 but the weather was not on the same page. So I rose early and hit the trail by 6.30am to avoid some of the heat. With a few of the OTD’s missing from the set, and several others that didn’t want to play ball, I ended up at 2.30pm with 9 more to get. Balaklava was not forthcoming so went south to Owen to complete the haul. A great day out, with the temperature ranging between 40 and 45 degrees from 11am onwards. Thanks to all the CO’s for their placement and ongoing maintenance.

I’ve had a great day finishing the “60” Geoart and collecting Aussie PMs, but this was my favourite of the day. I’d never been to the raceway before, and I didn’t know any of this back history, even though my dad was in the RAF at Edinburgh in the late 50’s, and that we came back to Australia as migrants in the late 60’s. Thanks for the history lesson OzFiresafe, FP from me.
After reading your detailed Description above we were intrigued and came to have a look. Cache was an easy find. All good.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Quick find whilst here on a Ride Day, cache has a little bit of water damage but still able to write. TNLNSL TFTC
Trying to complete my goal of a cache on every day of the year. This week is Mallala area to help to do this. Nice easy find. Signed log as GT to save space. TFTC.
Watch out for the ants on the tree. Nice hide and thanks for bringing us here. Found with superman_22 and Giselle_12
Today, with the Adelaide COVID-19 lockdown lifted, I decided to head north and target the *Australian Prime Ministers* (APM) Trail, and the *It's a Small World* 60 series. I swung by St Kilda initially, reminiscing about the playground and mangroves I once visited as a child, and then continued to snake my way north following the Prime Ministers, and visiting Mallala in doing so. It drizzled on/off for most of the day, and as the rain started to set in as the sun set, I decided to take that opportunity to head home.
Good spot for a cache here, as it was an interesting piece of history at this monument/plaques. This was quickly found with thanks to the hint, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks OzFiresafe/Firesafe for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

Found on a trip from home in the Adelaide Hills to Wool Bay on Yorke Peninsula, via the scenic route through the Hills to Gawler, out to Mallala and taking the back-roads to Balaklava, up to Snowtown, across to Bute and Paskeville and down the peninsula through Maitland and Minlaton, finding 32 caches for the day and clearing up a good portion on the map. Thanks for the cache OzFiresafe!
Last cache in town for me now until someone places another, a quick find here.
Today I decided to go for a nice drive along the back country roads just cleaning up the caches along the way, todays travels I needed up from two wells to Owen, balaclava and back via port Wakefield, all in all 48 finds for the morning complete.
Thanks for the cache

Day 182 (Thursday 27th) of our trip. Caching along the way. In Tailem bend today. A total of 18 for the day and 3498 for the trip. TFTC.
Interesting information on the plaque near the hiding spot. Thank you for the find, FireSafe
I spent the first few years of my life on the RAAF base when my father was based here. Still have photos of the Nissan hut that was our home. Have visited Mallala a few times over the years just for nostalgia sake.
This arvo I headed out after work to try and find enough caches to get to 8000.
Mission accomplished.
What a fab afternoon it was, love country caching and today was perfect for it. Not too hot. Enjoyed the scenery and finding lots of regular sized caches. Even better didn’t encounter any snakes or other scary wildlife.
Unfortunately had to stay back at work for an hour so didn’t manage to get to all the caches on my list but that didn’t spoil the afternoon.
Now hoping my Pies can win this last quarter then this will have been a real good day.
Quick find and sign here. TFTC

It was time to pick up a couple more caches in the Mallala district before heading out through Gawler and on to our next camping destination, with ilook4geo. The caches on the list were all quite quickly found and paperwork duties were soon done at each site, before we moved on.
Thank you to OzFiresafe for adding to our caching fun while we travel around SA.

While still in the Mallala area, did some more caching along with goingplaces2. Also picked up some around Gawler and further on. Caching is a great way to tour the country. Found this one easily. TFTC.
found with allister w on route to the unicorn series. All logs stamped mystery randoms for today. quick find

Found during a track day! I had just left the race track and I could not for the life of me, find a pen in my car.. Can provide photo to CO if need be.
Found with Ismartis while out chasing hidden creatures, well, the souvenirs anyway. There's more to Mallala, like hoon in souped up tin cans racing around a track going hell for leather [;-)]

Yet another puzzled puzzler's Tuesday caching expedition. Today's crew of brisal5, Mrs. SA Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl set sail north again to where we were caching DNF's recently. Whilst doing that two weeks ago we rectified three DNF'S but added another three to the list. Although we made a lot of finds I managed to add another four to my DNF list! No matter we had a lot of laughs and I added a few unloved caches to my list along the way. [:o)]
I didn't know any of this. Thanks for sharing. Oh yeah, found the cache too.
**Thanks OzFiresafe for this cache. **

Owl was out on her usual Tuesday geocaching frolic with SA Sewer rats and Brisal5, this time with some northern exposure in mind. lots of dry weather roads were traversed, mainly because it was still dry, even though it was winter! Owl was a bit nervous about this cache because it was only a little down the road that her windscreen had been smashed on the last visit here. Today all was well and the cache was found by the Starfish while she was reading the history.
Nice quick roadside grab, my last for the day (as the next one was to be DNF).

Making my way out to the stretch of dirt road north of Port Wakefield, to collect a heap of Letterboxes, and on my way I opted to pick up a few older caches that I have been wanting to clean off the map.
I wasn't going to grab this one today, but after DNF'ing the much older cousin, I opted to go after this one to avenge that blue frown. Some fascinating history, much of which I knew, but it's nice to actually visit the site of the old RAAF base.
This is my 2nd of 31 finds for the day, TFTC OzFiresafe!

Was out for a motorsport event and a new container in place - a micro now hanging nearby to the memorial
Looks like there has been some cleaning up around the track now that it has changed hands. I will get up there and see if I can find a more suitable spot nearby.
Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
Today our journey continued from Adelaide to Port Augusta. Some trail caches and others logged on the way.
Greetings from Finland!
No luck with this one.

No luck. Found the monument and the pile of rocks which it could've been under has been disturbed. Could also be suffering cache blindness but no less I will be back some day
Took a little while but soon had it in hand. Took toy left toy. Geo travelling with Pegasus46 while holidaying from the NT. TFTC SL
Needed a cache for International Geocaching day and this was the closest one to where I am this weekend. Just happen to be on fire Duty at the race track. TFTC
We decided to head up Port Wakefield way this weekend, so stopped in for caches along the way. Great relaxing weekend with a very poor geocaching success rate. Luckily we managed to find this one and really had to laugh hard at whoever left a chocolate as a swap. Thankyou for the cache.
