There was an incredible turn-out for this well-organised Event. Very obvious that a lot of effort had gone into the planning. We particularly enjoyed the social aspect of the night caching with new CSI recruits. Our thanks to FMZ and the others who helped out on the night.

Our first event, very friendly people, thanks to the organisers for a fun time. Good to meet up with other local cachets.
Thank you for wonderful event. I could see you spent a lot of time and energy getting it ready. A job well done.
Had a great time meeting cachers and learning about Wherigos, Chirps and UV clues, etc. Thoroughly enjoyed the 'car rally' part of the event. Thanks funkymunkyzone for a very fun event.
First worldwide multi-event. Came 3rd in the GeoHunt: which was unexpected.
Logged last nite, but changed it so I'd get in on 11.11.11. logging sequence.
From last nite: "Met nice people, and I've just arrived. Amazing how many new caters there are. Am I an old-timer now? Nah, I saw some old timers out on the hunt! THanks for organizing this event."

One word - Brilliant! I was there for the 10.10.10. Here for the 11.11.11! Even better, just like you said! Thanks for all the work you and your team put into it... Amazing! Manage to take some of those coins off the table for ya too! Thanks again for a great event and able to meet and greet fellow cachers.... Brilliant!
Our first event, not quite sure what to expect, but we had a grand time. Thanks to the people who showed us the WhereIgo, chirps and the UV torch nightcaching. Big thanks to the organisers of it all. What a way to commemorate a special date.
My first event and the culmination of an epic days caching for me. Including the caches published at the event, I managed 33 non-powertrail finds today within West Auckland. Thanks heaps FMZ and co for organising and running this event - you've set the standard by which future events will be measured.
Learned heaps tonight: Peoples faces and real names, chiprs, wherigos and UV night caching. Even came away with a magneting nano with which I intend to unleash misery and frustration on the GC world.

Wow that was like the most awesomest of awesome ways to spend my evening! So much fun! Seriously, thanks SO much for the organisation! Can't even imagine all the effort needed to go into all the planning and everything!
Loved all the games and everything. Great way to meet everyone. So many cachers around! And wow, kudos to all those who came from like miles away! That is dedication and determination ae.
(Way better than an evening studying and sleeping! )
Awesome as event!!

Surprisingly enough this was a gap date in our caching calendar so what better way to fill it, than to attend this event. Huge amount of effort by FMZ to set this up and fantastic to see so many cachers there. Nice to catch up with family and friends and to meet some faces for those oh so familiar names seen in log books. Can't wait for 12.12.12! Thanks Chris and Vera for the incredible organisation and to your many helpers on the night.
What a great night! Thanks to everyone for making my first event a memorable one.
Thanks for the huge effort & work put into this event- the biggest I've been to! So big I didn't get around to meeting everyone I was hoping to; Nice to meet lots of new cachers & finally put some faces to familiar names. The interesting new caches tempted me in to staying longer than originally planned & driving home was quite a challenge. LOL, not a hardened all-night cacher like some ...
We don't believe this event was made for us this time. It started with coming a day too early....blunt:). We had problems to get the wherego on our phone. So we started with the Geo-Hunt, but our knowledge of English let us down when we needed to find the cooked eggs. Ok back to base and starting with the 2 night caches. Unfortunately we didn't had a UV-light and no other team at the scene. So what we tought of doing is just another traditional. Went over to "daffodils in kawa glade" to find out that it was for us a bit too dark to go into these woods. Ok ok do a simple one and went to "Bring the boys back home". But this we needed to close off with a DNF.
We like those UV-caches, so we know that we need to buy one. We definetely will come back to do these 2 caches.
Tough it wasn't our cachingnight, we enjoyed the event very much. Have met some new, interesting people and say hello to others. It is amazing how much work FMZ has put in this event and compliments to setting up such an event. I love TB's so I am very lucky to get some leftovers from the table.

Left a lovely TB with another little cacher. She can definitely find a good place for this TB
Came all the way down from Whangarei for this. Had to get time off work and everything. Well worth while. Got to the event and saw a few faces I recognize from profiles. Signed in and went looking for the stickers, which was fairly easy until we had to find a multi.
Next the far North cachers went and did the Chirp thanks to Satly. Next out for the Wherigo. With me in the lead we found it. Back for the Geo hunt... Well that didn't go well. A few missed turns and we just headed back. Fortunately we got to find the final fairly easy.
Back for the night caches, equipped with my UV we head out to no.5 nice and short, made the grab before anyone in our small group found it, I signed us all and headed on our way.
Got to no.6 and led the way to the next few clues, then off to the final of which we gathered the group to sign the log. Then off back to event for the prize giving. Congratulations to everyone who won, and thank you for the torch.
What a wonderful event. Loved it. Had a great time meeting all who I met. Great to get clues and get to see who everyone was. TFTEvent. You went above and beyond. Thanks for the geocoin.

[ Great event! Great company, Great location. Special thanks to Chris, Vera and support team, must have been a big effort putting all this together. Thank you !!!!....It was also a good opportunity to put 'personalities' to 'names'. Additionally, for us, a good introduction to some 'different' search techniques. Over all a good evening. Thanks to all. ]
Wow what a fantastic event, so glad we dusted ourselves off and made the effort. Congratulations Chris & Vera and no doubt a great team of helpers, excellent organisation, really interesting caches and nice to be introduced some night caches which we don't usually have a go at. Great to add more faces to familiar names and catchup with old friends. Grabbed some TB's to take to Aussie next week. A thoroughly good evening. TFTE.
What a great event!!! Well done guys, you certainly deserve a break after the marathon effort of organizing. You have certainly set the bar for geo-events pretty high and I dont see how you can possibly top that for 12.12.12... always assuming that you have recovered in time for next year! BIG thanks again for the time a trouble you went to. Us cachers out here in geocacherland do appreciate your efforts. Thanks.
A most excellently organized event! I very much enjoyed every part of this. Thank you FMZ! I feel so lucky to have been able to take part and hope to do more of these wherever in the world I happen to be.
My first event! It was great to meet so many people that I've only seen in logbooks and on cache listings. Thanks to the organizers for all the hard work it must have taken to get this show up and running. I'll definitely be out for the next one if at all possible!
Wow! What a great night! Thanks team FMZ for organising such an awesome event! We thouroughly enjoyed the games and the night caching. Also great to put a few more names to faces. Looking forward to 12-12-12 already. TFTE!!
What more could you want from an event?
This was a fun filled night that was expertly organised, great to see so many enthusiastic cachers doing caching things.
Thanks Chris and Vera (and all the others who helped out).
You deserve a holiday in Samoa!

Thanks for the neat event! Clearly, no small amount of organising went into it. Much appreciated. Good to to do some team caching. Caching is more fun in a group. Great to catch up with some familar faces and meet some of those cachers that one had only communicated with electronically thus far. Cheers for the event and all the bonus caches/activities!
7873 Many thanks to Chris and Vera for the huge effort in organising this awesome event, great to see so many cachers out to celebrate this unique date. Nice to meet lots of newbie cachers, many whom travelled from out of town, and catch up with the usual suspects. Congrats to all the winners… see you all at the 12.12.12, cheers YuGeo4
Thanks for FMZ organising this great 11-11-11 event. Loved meeting the new geocachers and visiting with the seasoned geo-hunters. Also, liked the slide show show, Geo-bingo and Geo-snap games. A sprained ankle meant I couldn't participate with the Geo-hunt, but really enjoyed the socialising!
Add me to the list of happy cachers who attended. Thought last year's event was awesome, that had nothing on this one. Precision planning and great caches to find, not to mention getting to show a few newer cachers a thing or two - such as your GPS is most likely to fail you when you're trying to show people how to use it... Great event and if anyone picked up my badgegen coin from the trackable table could you get in touch please? I'd like it back
Thanks FMZ for the hours of hard work you put in to this. TFTE

Only decided to come to this at the last minute, and glad I did. Had a great time, and enjoyed meeting new people. Great to see kids getting involved as well. Awesome organizing by FMZ, great effort! Looking forward to next year!!
fab night. enjoyed our first night time caches. thanks for the massive effort FMZ!
all our TB's visited. thought we hadnt brought them- but found them in bottom of bag when we got back home- so they had a nice trip out to the 11-11-11- event!
What a enjoyable and well organised event (yet again). Thanks for all the effort that was put into organising this event. Really enjoyable catching up with some cachers I have not seen in a while and meeting a few new cachers. Enjoyed all the new caches and given all the types of caches I was able to complete the 7 a day challenge requirements too (Bonus). TFTE
Well, Chris & Vera, what can be said that hasn't already been said. You two put on a fantastic evening for the rest of us. To run as smoothly as it did I know that there was a great amount of preparation that went into it beforehand (and you still had time to get some FTFs as well). I'm sure it was appreciated by all that attended. Well done and thanks.
All the previous logs reflect our sentiments entirely. This was a fantastic event with so many cachers attending. It is always good to catch up with everyone & to meet new players. The many hours that both Chris & Vera have put into this event was really appreciated. Well done to team FMZ.
A superb event, very clear how much effort went into this. Great to work with others on a variety of caches I haven't tried before. Thanks heaps, M@
Enjoyable event, great to put faces to the names. Loved the 'car rally' part of the event, had many a giggle & u-turn
Thanks for such a great event, my first of this kind and a great experience. enjoyed the different caches and really appreciate the hard work and effort put in by FMZ. will be back next time ? . TFTE
Thanks heaps for organising this. Was neat meeting some new cachers and catching up with others not seen for a while.
Fun activities, thanks
Fun activities, thanks
Planning for this event started a few months ago and included quite a few sleepless nights, after-work shifts working on all sorts of event-related matters and a lot of last-minute stress, while making sure everything was ready in time.
A couple of months ago, halfway through planning what would happen at the event, we had a moment of sheer panic when we realised we had tickets booked to go to Samoa and the tickets said we would arrive there early in the afternoon of the 11/11/11. So now we were organising an event we weren't going to be able to attend? About half an hour of panic later (we're a little bit embarrassed to admit that, yes, it did take us about half an hour to think about it rationally), we remembered that Samoa is still on the other side of the dateline and, because of that, we would not only be able to make it to the Auckland event but we'd also be able to have an event in Samoa. Score!
After the great outcome of our 10/10/10 event last year, we knew that would be hard to beat. The 10/10/10 event was in a central location and on a sunny Sunday morning. The 11/11/11 was out West (out of the way for many cachers) and on a Friday night (which we understand is a tough time to be social when you have young kids). Knowing this, we were still determined to work as hard as possible to put on the best event we possibly could.
But no matter how many hours of work you put into it, no event can be successful without its attendees. And we're quite proud to be part of the community that made the Auckland 11/11/11 such a success. We counted up off the registration sheets and there were 69 teams made up of 105 individual people but we know that there were some people who weren't on there and we estimate about 120 people in total.
Now that we've had the chance to catch up on sleep, and without wanting to make this sound too much like an Oscar acceptance speech, we just wanted to thank every single person who took the time to come along to our event at Ceramco Park. We had people from as far as Christchurch, Nelson, Taupo and Whangarei, new cachers, old cachers... an amazing group of individuals who helped make that night so special. We really appreciate each of you taking the time to come along, most of you after a hard day's (week's!) work. Whether you live next door to Ceramco Park or had to drive for hours to get there, your presence was much appreciated.
We also need to thank all the people that brought food to share. We were hoping to have a few things available and had coordinated with a couple of geocachers to have some homebaking, took some ourselves and got friends to donate stuff as well, thinking that it should at least be enough for each of us to have a bite or two. Then we got to the event and we had an amazing spread of food, sweet and savoury, drinks and everything anyone needs to have a good night among friends.
Thank you to all the people that helped us organise this event, both before and on the day (in particular Rosmar and Yugeo4 who helped greatly during the event), and thank you, of course, to the sponsors that made it even more special.
Finally, congratulations to all winners and all those who competed on the night - you all did an amazing job!
Sorry we couldn't socialise more. We look forward to meeting you all for the 12/12/12. By then we'll hope that someone has created an affordable robot programmed to make the scoring of games like the Geo-Hunt and the Geo-Bingo slightly quicker so that we can at least try a cupcake and have a chat with you all!

Thanks for a fantastic event and all the hard work that must have gone into it. The geo-bingo and geo-snap was a great idea to get us all mingling and meeting the other people there. My two teenage kids who think they have grown out of geocaching even had a great time! We didn't manage to do the two night caches so will have to come back one night to try those.
Many thanks for the fun.
Many thanks for the fun.
For the last few days I have been searching for more clues to a predicted spatio-temporal upheaval in the aether somewhere in the vicinity of Glen Eden, Auckland, on this day, 11-11-11. Such a massive convergence of timelines in a single rift of the time-space continuum must have been related to the auspicious alignment of today's date. I have traced and located the confluence point, which appears to be at a repurposed refuse tip in Glen Eden. Lady Winsome and I were both present at the event horizon.
Such a convergence attracted the attention of many other Temporal Anomaly Hunters, and it was great to meet so many others, particularly those who have so much more experience than myself at tracking anomalies. The confluence also dredged up a great amount of flotsam (video), and I spent quite some time documenting it all. I have never seen quite so much inter-dimensional flotsam in one place before. Extraordinary! Together with the assembled Anomaly Hunters, we were able to secure the spatio-temporal upheaval without the general populace even becoming aware of the danger they were in. There was evidence of all manner of Gravimetric / Plasmo-aetheric Sensor (G/PS) devices in use by my fellow Anomaly Hunters. It was interesting to see what equipment is being used in the field these days and to share experiences with others. The nature of our work is such that there is not often opportunity to exchange notes and ideas. I clearly still have a lot to learn about hunting for temporal anomalies, and more "tools of the trade" to acquire to equip the Airship Halberg with.
Having so many Anomaly Hunters in one place necessitated some careful planning and logistical support services, and we were grateful to Team FMZ for their efforts in this regard.

Activating our 11-11-11 Geocoin for it's travels. No better place to start than where it was picked up.
Had a great time, Tired near the end but got there. Thank you for the effort. Lovely to meet you all.
We had a great time this evening - fun, new cachers, new experiences and only a few mozzie bites at the night hunt. Thanks team FMZ and all helper for organising such an awesome event. 12.12.12??? We hope so
WOW - this was so much fun!!
Before the event was published we had decided to take the day off and find 11 caches on 11-11-11 - so had left caches in Russell to be our treat. Then event got published so being 'flexible' our plans changed...
We cached on way down from Whangarei - attempting the 7+ a day challenge as well - and think this was just amazing. Many many thanks to FMZ - Chris and Vera you did an awesome job, you were incredibly generous with your time and skills - and it was terrific to share this event with you -TFTE
Loved our 'new caches' - not so in love with the geo-hunt - our first and we stuffed it up about 1/4 of the way into it!!! ha ha - but we loved the other games and could have done with bit more time to chat and pick brains of more techno-savy types and those with more experience.
Great to put faces to log signatures too and to see and hear how much others enjoy caching. Also great to meet up with our new Whg Cache-buddies.
Already got 12-12-12 booked in diary.
PS - we got the 7+ a day on the day so did the final on the 12th then cached a bit on way home - awesome over-nighter

I happened to be sort of close by so thought I should pop in. ( Not a hard decision actually!) So due to other committments I arrived after the start time to find people running in all directions in the dark. I did manage to match some names and faces. Thanks for the obviously huge amount of organisation that went into hosting this event. TFTC #2748
This was a nice way to spend a Friday night. We were a wee bit nervous going into it as we were so new to Geocaching. However, we learned heaps from the fellow cachers we met on the night, so much so we have a Xmas wish list of gadgets we simply must have, including a UV torch and a GPS that can do these new fangled Whereigo and CHIRP caches.
Enjoyed putting names to faces and really respect the work of FMZ in putting this event together. The Geo Hunt was so much fun as we tried hard to count stuff, follow directions and drive - luckily we read the instructions as we were about to head out on foot to attempt the 22km Hunt.
Can't wait to attend some more of these events.

What a fun night , new concepts on caches , don't know if I will remember how to do the newer types . Local knowledge helped on the ? cache . Met cachers we had not seen for a time . Thanks to Chris and Vera and their helpers for the great event.
A great night of caching. Great to see such a large turnout of cachers enjoying this event and caches.. Thanks for your amazing effort in organising this event.
Great event. Thanks to Chris and Vera and the other helpers for another massive effort. We arrived a little late and missed some of the early activities, but still managed the Geohunt (Almost got lost in the big smoke) and some of the "odd" caches around home base. Loved the night caches. TFTEC
What a great event!! Thanks Chris and Vera. Nice to meet you all and put some faces to names. Looking forward to the 12.12.12 Event.
Great to get a Wherigo, a Chirp Cache and some UV night caches. Picked up some TBs and Coins.

Awesome night out there with my fellow cachers. The organisation was very well done, big applause goes to FMZ for all the hard work he did. Great to see all the age groups enjoying themselves with the various activities.

Had a fantastic time, big thanks for all the organising. Lasted longer than I thought I would, all be it on pain killers.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay long, but great to see so many attending, especially those from out of town. managed a little group caching before we had to depart. Great to catch up with those who we managed to catch up with. Thanks for the effort that went into organising and running this great event.
I'll be there though a little late. I'm looking forward to putting some names to faces!

The venue is wheelchair accessible - terrain rating and attributes updated.
Thanks for getting us to hurry up and decide what we were doing. YES we will be there. If we are not too late, yes please add us to the list for a coin (we will understand if we are too late if not possible) Thanks again for organising we are sure it will be a great time. Also note to other attendees we are off to Melbourne & Tasmania the next Friday if anyone wants TB's dropped overseas, we are happy to take them with us.
We've allocated coins to everyone who has mentioned they want one. There are still plenty of coins available, and event attendees are first in the queue, so if you want one, just let us know.
Those not attending can still get one of the coins, just let us know privately and we'll add you to the post-event sales list, which will be on a first come first served basis.
Cheers.

The FuzzyNZ Team plan on being there with an extra junior or two in tow. (Won't make the Samoa 11/11/11 event though as much as we'd like to!)
Change to the registration pack - sorry we don't have enough pencils for everyone, so please being along a pen if you can.
Also, One more prize added, donated by Darby & Joan - thanks guys.
See you all there!

We may be there, but will be later in the evening. Would require us to drive up from Taupo after work.
Sounds like a lot of fun but is way past the Junior Pastamakers bedtime so sadly we will most likely not be there.
Hope everyone has a great time, we really enjoyed 10/10/10

I've been tossing up coming or not for a while, as this is the night before an exam, but I will be there! It sounds too tempting to not show!
EVENT UPDATE!
With the event just a few days away, we have just done some fine tuning the the event page, including:
- Some minor timing changes to fit things into the programme a bit better.
- There will now be FIVE new caches published for the event: The Geo-Hunt multi cache, a Chirp cache, a Wherigo cache, and two CSI-themed night multi-caches (involving torch and UV clues).
- A few fine tunes to game descriptions, etc.
PRIZE ANNOUNCEMENTS!
We have added a whole bunch of new prizes to the event page. Too many items to individually list here, but basically we have added:
- A third prize pack for the Geo-Hunt
- A third prize pack for the Geo-Bingo
- 14 additional spot prize packs for the Geo-Snap, plus 4 UV torches to be given away
- Two prize packs for the youngest and second youngest geocachers at the event
- A prize pack for the oldest & wisest geocacher at the event
- For one lucky purchaser of the Auckland event geocoin, a bonus Dunedin event geocoin to make a set
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the event!

Stairman1 and I are from Australia and will try really hard to attend. Last year would have been a good event to attend because it was my son's birthday. He was born 10.10.91.
This will give us a chance to grab some tbs and coins and take them back to Australia.

After much deliberation as to whether or not we would be able to attend, the youngest member of the team thinks we would be crazy not to go. Therefore the team of 4 will be attending.
thanks for the nudge and can you put us down for 1 event coin, thanks.2 will be comeing .
Due to health reasons, I am not able to attend the event. I wish all
cachers a nice event.
Many greetings from Hamburg
