I had noticed that this one had a few DNF's in recent months and tonight on a walk I was able to have an uninterrupted 10 minute search of the area. Unfortunately I have to say this one is definitely MIA. High tides marks are quite close to where I found it nearly two years ago, also there has been a new playground installed and a bit of work done to the boardwalk. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
I think this is the second time I've looked for this one. Another DNF to the list. The cache doesn't seem to be here!

There was a steel gate barrier surrounding the playground and adjacent walkway. We had a look but the closest we could get was the beach side of the walkway and gps said 6m towards playground.
Couldn't see anything from that position.
Will come back another day. Cheers

End of a cold day. Not many muggles. Hot chips in hand. Great excuse to sit a while TFTC
Morning
I just ran a pocket query on the attributes
* Night cache
* available 27-7
Obviously this doesn't make sense and given this is a traditional cache, it can't be a nightcache
Thanks and cheers

Only a couple of muggles around this afternoon and the low tide allowed me to approach from side with plenty of cover to avoid been seen. Lots of little swaps in here. Took clip and left mondo figurine. No sight of either of the two TB's supposedly in here. SL. Replaced log plastic bag with new one as the old one was all torn. TFTC in a lovely little spot.
Just a heads up, Tooradin has had an abnormally high tide tonight, while I was down the foreshore taking pictures I had a look for the cache and it wasn't in the spot where I found it last year- possibly been washed away
just as well the cache was well hidden and protected or the wind would have blown it to Hastings. nice hide tftc
Found this one well the genomics played at the beach we polled for soldier crabs and played on the park, then enjoyed a wonderful BBQ dinner this protect day finished with georo showing me where this cache was I'm lucky to be able to get my caching tips from a 5yo

Out with WeRAmused. Lots of people around but no-one was looking at us so quite easy to snaffle the cache. TFTC
Nice cache mugles are every where but we Found a mugle dry spot and quickly found and signed the log

Lots of muggles in the park but the cache wasn't visible from the muggle area. Found it easily enough. TB seems to be missing from here though.
With the 'help' of Earthed Devines geokid no. 1 this was easily found and retrieved. Swapped TB and a couple of smaller ones for the kids to borrow. Lovely playground and shady picnic tables make this spot worthy of remembering for future breaks between home and the city, etc.
Mrs was going on a fishing charter and arrived early enough to search for this one with assistance from RogDel (who have misdated!). TFTC (and for adopting it) TNLNSL, sorry, didn't give enough attention to the T B.
Nice hide, thank you.
Took TB, left one that's just left the UK bound for Lanzarote, a little off route!

TFTC! My 100th find, yay! Hard to get while muggles are around but managed to do it unnoticed. Took TB car and left TB angry bird.
Nice and easy cache. Very quiet at about 6:30 in evening. Have come here quite a bit over the years. Thanks
Came down to waters edge tide gong out walked strait down and there it was thanks
We had been caching in the general area all day and came here to use the loo. Of course we checked for nearby caches after that and happily didn't have to go far. Geodaughter guessed where it would be and spotted it quickly but had to wait for a few muggles going back to their cars after playing on the beach before she could grab it. A couple of the toddlers weren't happy about leaving and stood wailing in the carpark for a while before their mums finally got them moving and out of sight.
TFTC I'm hoping we can come back next week for some more caching and have a walk on the beach too

This is indeed a busy area. I was glad to have an extra body serving as lookout, a previous finder at that, which is still a pretty new experience for me. The cache was pretty much right on the coords though, so it wasn't too taxing otherwise, beyond selecting the most appropriate access point. Thanks KTCvic!

Found with GeoRo11 and Eartheddivine. We love going to this park. There was lots of great treasures to look at in this cache. After we found the cache we went across to the jetty cafe. I love their scones and hot chocolates. I was also able to find lots of feathers when picking up rubbish
Found with eartheddivine and GeoJulz. I loved looking at all the treasures in this big cache.
After a bit of a search and trying to stay away from muggle eyes we finally found this cache. TFTC
Dropped in to do this geocache on my down to attend the Melbourne MEGA Event.

We called in to Tooradin this evening to pick up a couple of caches we haven't bothered with until now. This ended up being a super easy cache to find, so thanks for the placement.

Easy find as lots of cachers around tonight didn't have to worry about muggles! Tftc
Was at the Melbbourne event and teamed up with fellow NZer Alpenmilch80 for the weekend, gathering some of the local caches.
We were attending the BBQ and fireworks and as this was so close it was the perfect one to grab, got to site and another that made us wish we had brought a big stick, these are not a problem in NZ as we dont have the fear of spiders or snakes, we did find it though. TFTC

On the way to the Mega with 6hinemoa2. A great two days of caching and catching up with friends. A great event that was very well organised and so much effort put in by the organisers. A great variety of caches and placements. Apologies for the generic logs as I couldn't remember each and every one.

Out with sorceysal for the weekend attending our first Mega Event at Casey Fields. We were waiting now for the fireworks display and decided to tackle a few on this side of the road. Did wander around here for a while. Finally heard found it and of course we were happy to sign the log.

We were visiting the area to attend the nearby BBQ event related with The Melbourne Event, and thought why not make the effort to stop in and find a cache while in the area. Wandered along down and spotted a couple of others leaving the area, and soon we were in taking a look when another cacher appeared. Soon had it found although it was a little tough to spot for some reason, cannot understand why with this size container. Log signed and all returned.

Out caching during the Melbourne MEGA with Cheeky Winks and Bondibabe. This cache was particularly popular during the weekend mainly due to the fact we were all congregating here for the fireworks. Thanks KTCvic it was great to meet you whilst out caching. Might see you on the farm one day?
Plans were made with the FurfacesLL ladies some time ago to attend the Melbourne Event before it became a Mega. We had a fly in fly out weekend arriving Friday lunchtime and heading home Sunday afternoon. Within that time, we managed to squeeze in quite a bit of caching and we were all pretty exhausted by the time we got home.
Day 2 of the Melbourne weekend, after a little sleep, and being woken to the locals having domestics in the room next to us at the motel, we jumped in the car and went caching again. Today we were targeting to get 11 different types in the 1 day. We had targeted the following: Mega, Event, CITO, Multi, Puzzle, Letterbox, Earthcache, Traditional, Wherigo, Virtual and a Lab cache. We were successful in getting them all (although I made the error of not logging the Lab cache on the day and they all show the date of 16/11/2015 when they were found on 14/11/2015)
Nice quick pick up while in the area.
Cache located, log book signed and cache returned. Thanks for placing this cache for us to find KTCvic

Here from SA for the Melbourne Mega Event grabbing caches around Casey Fields for a couple of days. TFTC.
We planned to attend the Melbourne Event when it was first published, and so a whirlwind weekend trip was organised. A lunchtime flight from Canberra got us into Melbourne in time to collect a few smileys on the way to our hotel in Beaconsfield.
Our weekend was filled with collecting lots of caches and meeting new people. Swapping lots of pathtags and seeing the sights around this lovely area.
Our departure time was late enough to collect another series before leaving the area. Thanks to all the cache owners for placing the caches and the organisers for the event. We look forward to returning at another time.

I was in Tooradin for a BBQ and some fireworks and had a little time before the festivities began, so as a group we decided to tackle this cache. On arrival at GZ we were to discover the cache was already in someones hands, so it was just a matter of signing the log. After a short discussion of where the cache was found, a unanimous decision was made and the cache was replaced. TFTC!

We were in the area attending an event and decided a break was needed do we strolled off down the road to grab this little sucker.
When we arrived there were a couple of other people there who were pleased to see some more cachers turn up because they couldn't find the cache.
As we were searching a few more arrived and bodies were going everywhere lol
The sun was going down so light was becoming an issue but alas there it was hiding safely tucked away.
We all did our signing duties then POOF we were all gone
Thanks for the fun KTCvic!

Here for the Mega and out caching with Lgoody & roostaman.
So much variety in the caches and in the weather!
Very happy that we did not experience any rain to speak of.
Great to cache in a new environment.

Catching up on some late, very late and extremely late logs (400 in all)
I would like to thank KTCvic for placing this cache. I always enjoy getting out and about to view this great country of ours and caching allows me to do that. Once at GZ, I sometimes find the cache quickly but sometimes it takes awhile to sus out the well camouflaged hide. Once found, log is signed and the cache is rehidden as found.
Once again thanks KTCvic.

Found with Mtrax and a whole bunch of other cachers. Last cache for the day.
Found this one and another, whilst at the BBQ and fireworks event!
We came down from Canberra to attend the Melbourne mega Event! And of course, find a few extra caches while we were down here! It was a nice drive, with plenty of caches found along the way. The only issue was - I had loaded 6000 caches into my GPS (just to cover me for the trip ) using a ggz file, but it seems the GPS wasn't happy about that! Luckily Mtrax had a smaller ggz file, so I copied that one, and all was good. We found 162 caches all up over the long weekend, can't complain about that.
Thanks for the cache KTC

Visiting Tooradin after the Mega this morning. Today is about compromise as I wanted to cache but geoson wanted to fish. So after picking up a few caches around Tooradin and getting our wrist bands we settled on the bank to do some fishing . We met a lot of new faces and had great conversations with fellow geocaches.
We picked up ice creams and walked down to this cache. The kids played on the playground while mum and dad searched. It took a while and geodad was a trooper getting low and dirty in the process. He wasn't all that impressed to see I had found it. After brushing off the sticks we had the log signed. Thanks for the hide.
