Makeing my way back to the border, slowly getting caches on the way. This one was quickly found but took a while to get it down. TFTC
TFTC easy-ish drive by cache, a slight height issue for myself :/ Luckily, my partner in caches has no such issue Log damp and mildewy, could do with a new log. Unfortunately, we didn't come prepared for caches and have no replacement logs with us.
Time to leave Stawell and head to St Arnaud which was suggested to us by the CO's a while back. This one was quickly spotted but we did have to wait for a few passing muggles to leave before we could return it.The log sheet for this one was a bit sad. Thanks The Morris.
I was heading up to Dimboola for a CITO today and did not realise it had been cancelled Friday evening until I was checking what time it was planning on starting. It was cancelled due to the heat and the total fire ban as well.It was going to be hot picking up rubbish so it was for the best.I was in Stawell at the time and as I was in no hurry to get there now I decided to do a couple around there first before heading to Dimboola to do the newish trads up there and any others on this side of the road.Arrived at Dimboola and then opened the Geocruisers door and the heat hit me.I have found what I needed to do in Dimboola and now its time to start heading back east and find somewhere to stay for the night. After finding out that all of the accomodation is booked out between Stawell and Ballarat for the night so I checked the map and picked Avoca to stay the night and take a different way home.I saw this one on the map and I remember finding similar caches along these lines.Im heading the right way so there was enough parking for the Geocruiser to pull into. Thanks The Morris TFTC.
Was driving past and saw the 37th sign and thought there has to be a cache here. A quick stop and check and yes,of course! Thanks The Morris a quick find. Log nice and dry...................The **Ballarat GeoTour** ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches, and earn the souvenir, before the tour is archived. Join us for the [Farewell Ballarat GeoTour Event - GCAFQ8B](https://coord.info/GCAFQ8B) on 18 February 2024.Are you ready to nominate in the **2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards**? Check out the 2023 geocaching lists [available here](https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists/) to get a head start and find some of the great new caches. Nominations will open early 2024.
Travelling from Halls Gap to Colac, I could not resist stopping for this cache. Its all about the coordinates, of course. The cache was found quickly and easily.
Due to unforeseen circumstances Mr Smokey Bear will no longer be a part of Team Smokey Bear and will continue his adventures as "SmokeyBearOG".
So I'm relogging all previous finds under my new account.
Unfortunately this log will not show the original logging date.
**Thanks to The Morris for this adventure, looking forward to many more.**

Down in Victoria for the long awaited (and necessarily postponed) Wangaratta MEGA, and a little holiday chasing the usual (oldies, counties and windmills). Just for something different we are adding AL's to the hit list and the graves of the regionally buried dead premiers. Lol the things we will do for a cache! Great to add this one to the list. Thanks for the cache.
Found on a trip to country Victoria after the Wangaratta Mega. The focus for this trip was to find oldies, dead premiers and windmills while visiting new LGAs. This was one of the caches we targetted. A quick find at GZ.
Found with FUF009.
My 1st chance to get out of the City and I took some leave. It was also my birthday on the Friday.
We had initially planned to go camping but the weather wasn't so hot so day trips it is! And actually this was a great day trip. I love the countryside and the open road.
This weekend felt "normal" again after so long apart and in various lockdowns.
After a huge day 2 days ago, we'd had a day of rest and are back at it again today.
I was so close to 12000 finds we just decided to knock it off.
After a jaunt around Hall's Gap we were making our way back to St Arnaud.
Cache 11,999!

It was interesting, actually, to be standing on the 37th parallel considering we use it so much in pursuit of plastic boxes.

Another 37th Parallel cache off our list.
Thanks The Morris for the placement.

The first day of our trip around Victoria and we started in Avoca as we needed to pick our spare mattress up for A’Tuin, our Geomobile, and home on wheels. As we made our way to Hall's Gap, we wanted to pick some caches up on the way. We enjoy caches that denote significant geographical positions, and although longitude and latitude are arbitrary lines drawn by man, they are interesting nonetheless. There were a couple of dead kangaroos nearby, and we were pleased it was cold, and they were not putrid. The cache is in excellent condition, although the log is pretty full. Thank you for this cache, The Morris.
After a crazy year, it’s time to get away for a bit of R&R, and of course a cache or two.
How could you not have a cache here? Great location!
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache, The Morris

With a bright and early start from home we headed towards the Southern Wimmera, to collect a few more scattered caches. Our route took more twists and turns than we had expected, luckily we were rewarded with a good number of those addictive little yellow smilie tokens.
Our thanks to 'The Morris' for adding this cache to the geo-gameboard.

Enjoying the countryside, nice and quiet! Thx The Morris' for placing.

Pulled up at GZ, all of a sudden I heard crunch. What was that, somehow I had run over the cache, why was it there?
The cache was very broken, I had a mint tin in the car so replaced for the CO with the original log book

Day 10 of our epic trek to the St Arnaud Mega via Geelong and return via wherever the caches are.
The constant was my travel companion for the entire trip, - Anymules but we were joined by other cachers in our travels.
With the Mega event finished we continued caching around Bendigo where we were based for a few days. The GPS died and was trying to learn this app as we cached.
Today we started on the journey home following unfound caches on the map. Where will we finish tonight?
A quick drive by even though we were on the other side of the road. Spotted as we crossed the road.
Thanks for putting out this cache for our enjoyment.

Heading to my next destination, Stawell, after leaving St Arnaud following the Mega event...
There was a lot of detours along the way so it took all day to get there...
This was a major detour in a round about way...
Last one for the day...

After a great MEGA event uin St. Arnaud we went on to Halls Gap in the Greampiens NP. On the way we searched and found some caches. In the NP we went on some hikes, saw some good waterfalls and spent great days at the Free Camp. Again and again we searched and found geocaches. Thank you to the owners.
After staying with Jacko in Stawell it was up early on Sunday morning and back to the St Arnaud Mega.
Most muggles don't understand our interest in latitudes, longitudes and confluences. But cachers just can't resist those 000s. Of course I stopped at this GZ !
Thanks The Morris.

Suscoe's second day on this trip.
We were up early and our goal was to get to Horsham picking up caches as we went.
It was going to be another delightful Winter's day.
Clear skies again and almost no breeze.
Thanks to The Morris for this hide.
This is our third 37th Parallel cache in 24 hours.
Thanks.

Out for a drive around the district on a glorious Election Day to collect a few caches. This cache was on the ground in the open. I put it back in what seemed like the logical location. SL TFTC The Morris!
TFTC Thank you for hiding this cache. You have shown us a new place and have helped make geocaching an enjoyable activity.
On a detour through Stay-well today,
I stopped by the Victorian's version of the 37th parallel.
Hang on a second !!
This ain't the right spot [:o]
Sure it was the right spot to find a geocache,
but these damn Mexicans have got it wrong again !!
Bad enough that they couldn't survey the 141st line of longitude and have stolen a lot of land off of South Australia !!
But here we go again !! [:o]
The 37th parallel is about 160 metres south of this site
TFTC anyway

A quick find early this morning as I headed to Horsham for work. With time to spare I did a rather large detour at Stawell to nab a few caches. Nice to find this original one which inspired another series. Many thanks for the cache.
Quick and easy find thanks for the cache The Morris

On our way to St. Arnaud for the long weekend, the Snap Happy way... AKA the looong way! As it turns out, Snap had been this way before. He was nice enough to stop whilst I jumped out and made the finds along this stretch of the highway. My thanks the The Morris for the cache.

Making a slow journey to the Mega. Today travelling from Halls Gap to St Arnaud. Here for a couple of days before heading further east. TFTC.
Very fun to find. Lucky we found it as it had fallen off where it was meant to be but we placed it back where we think it was originally placed
Great spot for a cache! I drove past it, but soon backed up and made the find!
