I'm currently interstate, so I'm unable to confirm if it is missing.
Will leave it as is until I return to Victoria.

No track and no cache anymore.
This quick stop at a rest area took me forty minutes!?!

Dnf only because it's a hot day and lots of bush bashing through a very overgrown area, and the 2 previous dnfs didn't offer much hope of finding it. Will keep an eye on this one for next time we are passing tftc
A very thick bush bash. Managed to find a few spots that match the hint, but couldn't locate the cache.
No luck for me today.
Not much of the track remaining.
Allocated break time completed.

I searched a couple of different options before reading the clue near gz. Found quite quickly after that. I need to get some bushman's or something, the mozzies were attacking me through my clothing. Tftc
This is our first chance to take off in our motorhome and test it out. It is so long since I have been caching, I am feeling very rusty, with very little caching over the last 18 months. Now we are semi retired, so we will no doubt get familar and catch up on some very late logs.
This had us searching but after reading Phetlerns log, put us right on the mark.
Thanks Poiter.h for placing the cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy the find.

Heading south today, from Tomakin, destination Bairnsdale and yes we had our Victorian border entry permits on board, but they were not needed.
Our second call here, we followed the suggestion of the experienced bush walker Derringer and had more success than last time.
Satellites today had our GZ 10 metres SE of where we found the cache, which has no actual ID as a cache.
Thanks Poiter.h for adding this cache to the gameboard.

Took a drive to Murrungowar and found this cache along the way. All good and yes a few mozzies and a little off the track with a few fallen trees. TFTC
Found at 3.30pm. The area has been burnt and the walking track cannot be followed. K walked directly to the cache from the dirt road. An open easy walk. Mosquito central at gz. Left a Tb. Thanks K&M
I had the chance today to check the cache
Obviously it has been burnt. I've now replaced it.
You need to be bring your own pen.
Happy Geocaching.

DNF for us today- trying in darkness and couldn’t find the trailhead or any suggestion of a trail- went for a scrub bash but GPS was more jumpy than I’ve ever seen- maybe best try again one day in the daylight! Lol!
We passt this little cache on our way from Melbourne to Sydney. Everything was quite except for that one truck. But after a short while I was able to log the cache.
Many thanks for this cache.

Found by Mary and David at 15:25. Thanks for the trail head coordinates. Mary sat this one out so that the leeches wouldn't drain her dry. David set off with many layers of clothing, an umbrella and an army of native bearers armed with machetes (well, not really). Happily his GPSr showed the old trail, which was quite easy to follow once a few metres away from the car park. Track was a bit slippery after the rain. Weather so different from our experience at "The Gong" Mega, which was sunny and warm. Quite a few places to check, and we had success after eliminating 3 or 4 contenders. Our thanks to Poiter.h.
Well that was a bit frustrating. Spent a half hour with historically reasonable geo eyes, searching every likely spot we could see, with no success. Even went through past logs looking for clues. Oh well, good luck to someone else. Thanks for placing it anyway.
Neither frmen1 and I had any luck. Lured by the unloved days, I pushed my knee past it's post-op limits. More frustrated with myself and now paying for my stupidity. Good luck to future hunters.
Too many mosies for Mrs. Gumby and well overgrown track. Plus a Compass which was sending us in the wrong direction.
Had the chance to go and check on the cache.
It is all good and dry.
The track has overgrown a bit, so I've added a trail-head (Phetlern).
I've also upped the difficulty to 2.5 as GZ is a bit overgrown as well. (Goldenwattle)
I checked the co-ords, but it was bouncing around a bit from 0.22 to 3.32 metres.
So I'm leaving it as is.
Happy Geocaching

When doing the CO maintenance, please also check the coordinates and give a true difficulty rating. This is NOT 1.5D. Otherwise, please place cache in a place it is 1.5D. Thank you.

With the last find on this one being in July 2018, this cache would seem to be due for an owner maintenance visits for a check please.
Perhaps the inclusion of a 'Trailhead' waypoint to start seekers on the journey down the unmaintained track would also be useful please.

Mosquito's, tic's and leeches!!!
We looked high, we looked low, we looked in, we looked out for as long as the mosquitos would allow - certainly longer than the expectation for a standard DR1.5, but today there was no way we could work this one out!
Maybe the mossies carried it off
SUGGESTED TRAIL HEAD FOR UNMAINTAINED TRACK -

No rocks, searched for 30mins, no sign of cache. Tojo065 Ghania and mossie heaven.
I couldn't find a clear entrance to the track here, and as last attempt I had three leeches on me, I didn't feel like bush bashing to look for it. So I drove on.

Heading to Philip Island for a conference from Canberra. Picked up a few caches on the way, before stopping around midnight to sleep in the back of the car for a few hours. I headed directly to GZ, not realising there was a path, then searched for a good half an hour without finding anything. Finally gave up and returned via the path. Next time, I'll visit in daylight!

Nice hide. Took a while to find the path and so many great hiding spots! Found by daughter on road trip around Victoria
#1414 So a break in our journey to give geo-pup a bit of a run around. Started on a track but then detoured when there was a bit of an odour. Then ended up going the hard way. Got to GZ and phone was bouncing around a bit. Looked a couple of places without success and then after checking the hint then spent another 10 mins looking around still without success. Eventually the phone bounced me to another location and this time success. TNLNSL. TFTC Poiter.h and greynomads, followed the track to get back out which made things somewhat easier!
TFTC We survived the cut-grass for this one! Visiting from Northern Wisconsin, USA, with Mocrin and Aix sponsa. Left Melbourne for Narooma today and grabbed a few on the way.
Caching with lostcheq and Mocrin. With many miles to drive today we were going for only a few easy one - park and grabs. I dressed for that, oops! Wearing shorts and strapless sandals, I hiked into this one. Mocrin was dressed similarly. Looked here and there. We found the cache and found a track to hike out one. TFTC
Heading into NSW on a relaxing few days away sightseeing and caching, not trying big note ourselves on what caches we get or don’t get while here, but to enjoy each others company.
Thanks to the CO for the placement here.
Thanks to the CO for the placement here.
I should have worn long pants and closed toe shoes for this one. Instead I had on shorts and sandals. My legs are all cut up from that nasty grass!! But, we found the cache! Thanks for the rest stop!
Continuing my journey through Victoria to pick up caches for the Victorian LGA Polygon Challenge & Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge. Managed to get the final 3 maps ticked off but no LGA's. TFTC.
The long weekend was here and it was time for fitzy_1965 and I to head down to Vic in the geo-unit for an epic geomission We had a great time camping, cruising around admiring the beautiful scenery and nabbing LOTS of caches! A great weekend of quality caching all round!
Pulled over then made the find soon after [^]

14703. Found during a long weekend caching run down through the Bombala / Genoa / Mallacoota / Cann River / Orbost / Lakes Entrance / Bairnsdale regions with specimenX.
A long weekend caching plan was hatched with specimenX to head down to Victoria for 4 days of caching and camping. Had a fantastic time driving around enjoying the scenery, camping at various locations, plus the huge number of caches to be found. Day Two dawned and we had survived the rain. Packed up and hit the road. Next find of the day. In typical geocaching fashion we only found the track just before GZ - lol. Quick find. Signed the log, replaced the cache, and headed off to the next one.
Thanks to all the COs for placing their caches !!

Greetings from the Czech Republic/Europe! I would like to invite all australian geocachers to Czechia, we have got many excellent caches on amazing places too!

Found as we wind our way from Melbourne to Canberra the long way around picking up some stray map zones for a challenge cache as we go. Being dedicated caches we never take the shortest direct route to anywhere, except the next cache of course. After bush bashing my way to gz for this one I found myself on a handy little track. (Note to self: read the cache description BEFORE heading off.) After a bit of a search the cache was located a few meters from my gz and after signing the log I headed back to the fourby ALONG THE TRACK. Much easier that. Thanks for bringing us here and thanks for the cache.
Just about to give up, when I was walking towards my ute, saw something that matched the hint, stamped my sign in log book, and replaced as found, Thanks for bringing me here, Poiter.h and maintaining by greynomads, this cache is in good condition,
The only thing I found here was my arse on the ground having slipped twice climbing over damp logs. Gave up before there was a third. Next time
On a trucking mission from Bega, back home to Dandenong dropped in here to grab this cache. Little bit of a walk and just 10m the cache was in hand
Get super lost could see the road, or anything familiar, and couldn't find GZ. Oh well try again another day
I dropped into Murrungowar today on me way east
A brand new rest area that seems to need a big petrol station in the middle of it,
was found
While the crowds of grey nomads,
and the occasional truckie ,
milled around,
I wandered off into the scenery to find the rather overgrown walking track
The walking track appears on me GPS mapping software,
which made finding the start a bit easier [^]
And at GZ I milled around for a while and couldn't find the cache [:o]
I widened me search
Which did the trick and a cache was found,
safe and sound,
about 10 metres from where me GPS was pointing
TFTC,
a great spot to go for a stroll in the forest.

From the highway there appears to be a lot of reconstruction/development work being undertaken at this site. At the moment it would seem as though the area is fenced off and access to the cache provented.
Perhaps this one should be disabled until the CO can check out what is happening?

I enjoyed the little walk. Spent ages looking. Jezza just about to give up when he spied the rocks.
We tried to visit this cache today as we had for the last few days but it has been taken over by the road maintenance crew and is off limits to travellers. Recommended it be disabled till they finish the work.
Found on our trip to Mallacoota. After arriving at the rest area, we walked down on the loop track towards GZ. Once we got there, it took a few minutes to spot the cache - we were about the give up, but luckily, we managed to spot it. Lovely area down here. TNLNSL. TFTC Poiter.h!
# 9846. At the end of our holiday and Robmc and I have made an extremely early start (6.20am) from Mallacoota to head back home. Fortunately we have a bit of time to stop for the occasional cache along the way. It turns into an 8 hour trip home to Melbourne.
When we pulled in here I realised I had been here a few years ago when I went driving up the road from here for a bit of a scenic drive. I thought it was going to be a quick find as the GPSr was saying about 60 metres but I didn't realise I had to walk a bit of a loop to get there. Down the hill we went and arrived at GZ. Mmmm, quite a few places to check out here but finally we spied the rocks and voila there was a cache. Signed and returned to its hiding place and back to the geo-chariot we go.
Thanks Poiter.h

Spent ages looking, couldn't see any rocks or anything remotely resembling some. Two leeches later and I called it quits. Won't give up though!
Stupid me went for the walk in the pouring rain. Lots of water at GZ and it was just too hard to go rummaging through things in the rain, so didn't find it. Did pick up 3 leeches though!
2 groups camped today (1 in a tent)

6:57pm Took snowman, left pack of cards & lanyard. The area was rather swampy this winter. The pathway near the cache was full of stagnant water. Beware of leeches! I got one here! Otherwise a great spot to take a break with Jac7 on the drive up towards Tura Beach.
Finally found it after reading the hints. Misplaced Rocks is the clue. But tricky otherwise.
Found early this morning whilst travelling between Orbost and Genoa. Enjoyed the short walk on the track. Good hide in an accessible spot. took the travel bug. tftc
A great spot for a break in driving.
Getting a bit hot today, but must find a cache to two.
Dropped of a trackable called 'Wooden Shoes # 7'
Thank you for the hide Poiter.h & greynomads.

I remember stopping here on a previous trip to Sale for a cache at the picnic area (which seems to have gone now) so when I noticed a new one here I had to stop at this great little area.
So and I headed to GZ but guessed at the wrong end of the trail to took the long way around. Whilst we were searching we fed many mozzies but found the nice sized cache, signed the log and were on our way - TFTC and another excuse to stop here.

During our journey Ohensler and myself stopped here and searched for this box. Quite a bit away from where we parked our car ...
Thanks for the cache, Spurenleserin.

We have returned from Canada to discover a few more Australian caches! What a great way to explore the Land Down Under" ...
Took a stroll on the soggy wet trail in the pouring rain. Found the cache right were it should be and finished the walk. Came back with rather wet feet but feeling glad we did it. It was a beautiful walk thru the lush vegitation .
Thanks for the fun Poiter.h!

We arrived here to find a party of little old ladies had set up camp for the night. Tents pitched in picnic shelter, that sort of thing. No problem to us we thought as we set off along the enjoyable loop walk through the bush. After a little searching, mostly on the wrong side of the track & in the wrong areas entirely, the cache was in our hands. Wouldn't you know it, at that very minute here come the little old ladies. We tried our best to look nonchalant, exchanging pleasantries on the lovely bush, but we felt like shags on a rock with our wings out to dry. No, we always like to stop at some random spot on a bush track & admire the vegetation just there. They soon passed (albeit with a strange look) & we could then return the goodies where they belonged. Then a slow stroll back to the car.
A great excuse for a short walk to find this cache. Thanks Poiter.h for the hide.
We read the description and the hint and the logs and were a little bit worried if we should take this challenge. We already were very successful today, so why spoil it with a DNF. Nevertheless, we took the chance and walked the trail, until the GPS claimed that we were on the GZ. A sharp eye was what need, and luckily, we had those with us today, despite the long trip already. We logged our name, put the cache back and hurried back..away from the mozzies as they seem to be called here. Never too old to learn some new words.

Nice to stop here for stretching my legs.

We enjoyed the walk to this one, this is a really beautiful spot. The mozzies attacked us at the GZ, we struggled to find the cache, and had to dance around while looking to try and stop them from landing on us. We moved our search to the other side of the track and there was the cache. Finally - now to run away from the hungry mozzies! A huge tree had come down on the track back to the parking area, so a little climbing was required to avoid backtracking. TNLNSL TFTC
Enjoyed the walk, but collected an unwanted hitchhiker which we found in the car an hour later. Luckily, he wasn't too friendly and we disposed of him quickly

When I found this cache it was dark, I had no torches and a tree had fallen over and blocked the path, but I still managed to get past.
Found this with my son on a road trip back home. Was getting dark so should've brought a torch, but never-the-less we found it! TFTC.
One of the great things about geo-caching is that there's always a cache nearby when it's time for a break...we pulled into the rest area and after a quick pitstop headed off for our 'walk'...located GZ relatively easily given the patchy GPS signal, but a short search was needed before geo-kid7 excitedly made the find The geokids delighted in swapping SWAG, and I decided to drop Mark the TB here to continue on his way...replaced the cache then continued on...just as we neared the end though we were stopped in our tracks - the roadside clearing of trees has blocked the track good and proper - but we decided to clambour over and around the fallen trees rather than return the way we had come...although this increased the terrain rating for us, it added to the adventure Thanks for the roadside rest-cache - it's like this track only exists here for it
On a road trip to Melbourne with Mumma-Kel and the geo-kids, collecting some Smiley's along the way. Thanks for this cache, it was a nice break for us ... Mumma-Kel's log says it all.
No luck today as there were too many mossie and leaches. Could not see anything that remotely fitted the hint. Took a leach for a ride in the car. We will have a go again when the logs indicate the cache is actually there.
