While based in Tonopah and completing the epic ET trail with another couple from Australia (The Drovers) and our honorary team member from Hawaii (Skotlee) we still had time to find "just one more". What an experience the last 5 days have been. We enjoyed finding this cache and our thanks to Texas UFO Crew for its placement and adding to our enjoyment of this amazing location.

USA road trip 2015, traveling with Liz and Bruce. Week 2, day 5.

Our last day with Skotlee, before he makes his way back to Las Vegas to fly home to Hawaii.
What a pleasure it has been to have his company for the last 5 days.

The guys went out to pick up a few caches around town, while the girls did some computer work.
A good variety of cache hides, made for an enjoyable morning.

Many thanks for placing this cache, Texas UFO Crew, for us and others to find.

US14 ET Highway Trip with Sol de Lune and Mtrax. Day 16. The last day of E.T. series caching. The final area at the old town was an interesting place to explore. The final few caches were on some of the most rustic tracks we visited, but we made it in one piece. After the ET was over we took a bit of time doing other caches in the region. A few interesting spots out in the middle of nowhere. Thanks.

yes looks a bit like old boot hill but I guess thats the desert for you..
now we have done with the series we have time to gather a few up on yhe way back to Tonapah.

ET Day 6. starting from Tonapah and our final day on the power trail and probably the best part of the trail with a bit more diversity and through a old ghost town which was super cool.. phew

Logged as "SAM" which is a team of three Sol De Lune, Albida33 and Mtrax. Visiting the US as a team for the 2nd time, our mission to complete the ET series but before and after do some more exploring and geocaching along the way. Our tour starts around Barstow and a few days in Las Vegas before caching over to 29 Palms before hitting the ET Highway straying at Rachel and Tonapah.
Our second stage of our trip saw us doing a loop around Wyoming, Nebraska, South & Nth Dakota and Montana before finishing back in Los Angles, our finds for the trip totalled well over 4,000 geocaches.

Last day on the ET trail and after finding the last one on the trail we started heading back into Tenopah to find a few caches and have a bit more of a look around the town. Caches were all good.

Very interesting cemetery. Really enjoyed the visit here. Looks like they are doing some maintenance work on steps/wall so may want to check on it in a bit to make sure workers didn't stumble across it. On a 11 day cachadventure with Randy-Lewis and Haz-Matt24 from NJ. Flew into Las Vegas and picked up our geo mobile and off we went with our goal of ending up in San Francisco. We hit oldies, high favs, multis, puzzles, wherigos, earthcaches, events, challenges, virtuals, webcam, and a few traditionals along the way. Put somewhere around 3000 miles on our van, had only 2 run ins with the local authority (one of them being Reno911, who got a chuckle out of us). Saw some beautiful scenery especially with the picture perfect weather Mother Nature provided for us. We met a lot of great people Cachers and non-Cachers alike and most of all had enough laughs to make our sides split. Thanks for all the great caches and a major kudos to all the CO's for without their caching enthusiasm we would not have been able to make this trip so successful. Lastly thank you to our Team for the great planning and execution. Signed most logs as TEAM MUD or TM!

Out with Mudwhore and Haz-Matt24 for an 11-day, 2,500 mile plus trip through 4 states grabbing oldies, lonelys, virtuals, mysteries, events, challenges, wherigos, earthcaches, high-favorites, etc. Saw some amazing sights and extraordinary caches on this journey. Also grabbed some traditional caches to fill in the blanks. Many thanks to the all the CO's and finders for keeping these caches going for us all. Signed/stamped as Team Mud or TM. TFTC!

A real pleasure exploring the entire historic area! This one easily earns a favorite!

On a 11 day caching adventure with Randy-Lewis and mudwhore from NJ. Flew into Las Vegas and picked up our geo mobile (then switched our geo mobile) and off we went with our goal of ending up in San Francisco. We hit oldies, high favs, multis, puzzles, wherigos, earthcaches, events, challenges, virtuals, a webcam, and for good measure we even sprinkled in a few traditionals along the way. Lots of jumping out the side door and running for caches, giving my legs and lungs a good workout. Got a nice sinus infection day 2, but kept on plugging away. Saw some beautiful scenery especially with the picture perfect weather we encountered. Thank you to our Team for the great planning and execution, without you I would never have been able to do this. Thanks for all the memories and the side splitting laughs for 11 days. Signed most logs as TEAM MUD or TM! This one gets a favorite from me. TFTC.
