Hi there Vulturistic.
This is the 3rd of 3 caches we didn't find today. [:(!]
We spent quite some time here but we just couldn't locate your cache, so here's a DNF from us.

Hi there Vulturistic,
RE: Your cache **"Cast A Line"**
We are really sorry to report that the cache seems to be missing. It really needs some owner TLC.
We would have liked to replace/maintain the cache but we were really unprepared today and had nothing to replace it with.
Regards
Ian & Penny

The grass is too long and thick plus after the rain it's wet so only a quick look with no luck

Found the catch but next person to try and find this cache might advise to bring some paper out and a pen so you can start a new log page

A great view out over the lake today
Lots and lots of birdlife out there to view [^]
I'm guessing they had a wet winter in the South East this year
But it wasn't such a McHappy spot for me
I couldn't find any trace of a cache
And how ironic that there is so much McTrash left here !!

I was taking the long way to Adelaide today so decided to grab a few of the caches that are off the road...
I quickly located geocache but logbook was full and damp so have replaced.
Thanks for bringing me here.

Have seen this fisherman many times driving past but not today. Oh no! The fisherman's gone home, perhaps now there is some water in the lake he actually caught something to take home!? Log has a few spots but is mostly full. Thanks for the cache.
Over from SA for the Surf Coast Mega and had an awesome time teaming up with friends to cache for the weekend and enjoy the Mega Event. On our way home now to the Barossa and after catching up with Family at Nora Creina, we made our way home today. A quick find today, what a beautiful spot. If the weather wasn't so dreary this morning, we would have sat for a while...TFTC
Two Norwegian travellers on vacation/geocaching in Australia. Travelling by car from Brisbane to Adelaide with stops in interesting and not so interesting places.
Until now: Coolum Beach - Kilcoy, Stanthorpe, Byron Bay, Port Macquire, Nelson Bay, Hunter Valley, Wagga Wagga, Beechworth and Melbourne.
After Melbourne we are moving slowly westward and will stop at the villages and small towns along the coast.
Today we left Naracoorte and hope to reach Meningie this afternoon after logging some caches on the way.
Our first this morning. Nice view over the lake.

Having washed the vehicle, I needed a quick drive to blow the water off, and what did I find? A cache of course!. Reading back through the logs it's apparent Lake Ormerod isn't always full. Well, it is now!!! No bullfrogs to be heard, but lots of water birds to be seen, and the sound of a speed boat in the distance lol! Of course I did a circuit in the wrong place, but then widened my search, through the 3 foot high grasses, and there it was! Glad everything is still nice and green, I was more confident of not meeting any slitheryns today. TFTC TNLNSL
Found it...just love the sound of bull frogs peaceful spot....put it in a plastic zip bag log damp.
After spending the weekend doing the Border Track, I had an extra day to grab some caches in the area. TFTC.
No casting a line here on the day visited, but there were some curious cows nearby. Found an eclipse tin without a log book, then realized the tin was way too new to be a cache haha. What a great spot for a bus stop too, nice views out across the paddocks.
Thanks Vulturistic for the cache. TNLNSL

Came to Naracoorte today to drop off in laws so they could pick up their new car from the dealer. Long way from home but the dealer is a relation so I come here often! That done, time to cache my way back home. As you do. [^] But since I have done most along the highway I better take a few detours and grab some out of the way ones.
Who fishes for reptiles? Found the cache instead. Thanks for the cache Vulturistic.

This cache was found as part of a 28 hour caching odyssey around the Wimmera and Upper South East with TT016. A total of 670 km was covered in the trusty old GQ Patrol on the way to 93 cache finds. Caches collected included the Rusty Rail Series and This is SA puzzles, which were all found at night!
Not much fishing to be done here today... but the light of the sunset on the rain clouds was quite speccy!

A lovely evening to be out and about in Naracoorte with TT016...this was our last cache for the day & the night was getting long. This one was the last one on our list & up until now we had found every cache today so we spent some time by torchlight trying to locate this cache. It was a bit of a challenge but one we were up for. Yes...cache found now to head for home...TFTC Vulturistic
our last cache for the day and no DNFs.

Taking the geo kids caching during the school holidays, while towing a 24 foot caravan. We'll grab every opportunity to grab a cache. A great spot to pull over and ready the info and enjoy the area while finding this easy little cache.
Thanks Vulturistic for placing & maintaining the cache for us to find.

In the fading light we were a bit miffed by this one. The GPS'r had us in the middle of nowhere. It was not until we re-read the cache notes that we gained some insight and adjusted our search area. Yes a neat little container waiting for our log in. This was one of the many stops we made on the drive from Goolwa to Naracoorte.
Our thanks to Vulturistic for bringing us here.

We fully understand why your mate when home there is no water here hence no fish. We wonder if he will return when there is water in the lake again. SL TFTC
745th Cache Find Happy Easter Monday We have a full day out caching planned for today. We have 1 more on our list as its time to head back home for our Brother-in-law's birthday dinner. Not sure that much casting a line would happen here but when there was water we are sure a lot of casting of lines happened. TFTC
Found with chooknchunk while based in Naracoorte for the BLE. Sorry we didn't get to meet the fisherman, but we did find the cache. Great to read about the conservation area. TFTC
Found with Misschief18, while in Naracoorte for the Big Little Event. Headed out west today. Enjoyed reading about the skinks, but didn't see any today, despite it being a perfect warm spring day. TFTC.
Found after a short search and casting a line in the wrong direction
In Naracoorte for the BLE this weekend and taking the opportunity to snag a few caches along the way
Taken TB to move along

Labchick was quick to put her hands on this one. Very picturesque spot. Cache #1,973.
3680 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 0900. A pity the fisherman has gone home as that would add a great effect to the location. SL left traveller Tnx vulurisitc
Camped at Naracoorte this was to be our last day here so headed out to gather a few more smilies before moving tomorrow. Enjoyed a great walk around inside Struan House.
Magnificent weather today the best we have had here this week
We were actually trying to visit the local chinese restaurant but we were too early so made a little detour to find this cache to kill some time. No fish today. lol..

Finally, 4th time searching and we had the elusive little cache in our hands within seconds of getting out the car. Happy happy
Found at 4:24 PM GAFF2. We found the cache exactly at GZ - has someone shifted it as we saw that it was 16 metres away at one time. Long way to cast a line from here that is for sure!
Thanks Vulturistic.
Thanks Vulturistic.
We had to receive help on this one, so returned today and located cache 16 m from GZ
Had no luck today, searched with Tassie Trekkers for quite a while. I think Nessie from down the road should move here as more water!
Found by Mary & David at 1400. Mosquito Plains sounds such a miserable name. We always enjoy interesting and informative cache notes, and these were excellent. Rather a tongue twister to say Striped Legless Lizard and Glossy Grass Skink quickly. Good news all round. Cache container seems to have changed somewhere along the way. Our thanks to Vulturistic.
# 7992 Found on the SA leg of our S.K.I.D.R.O. adventure,
while staying in Naracoorte for a few days.
Not many muggles around and a reasonably quick find on most of them.
Had to have a laugh at the last log, good clue to have.
Thanks for the cache Vulturistic,
Roostaman.

Found it, the original was missing and has been replaced by the owner. Thanks for the cache. Woo hoo
Took the hint option from a previous finder and finally located this little blighter TFTC finally this one is OFF the dnf list.
Not sure what we are missing here, extended search area still came up with nothing but did find an old oil filter.....
Went it determined for a find, hoping for third time luck to come our way but nope still not found. This one keeps eluding us
Coordinates for this one were terrible!!! Needed serious help. Either it's been moved or gps coords are close to 20m out. Shame so many are missing this. Anyway finally got it. Thank god. Tftc
Revisited. The fisherman is back but all we found at coordinates was long grass and rubbish..... Spent a good 20 minutes rooting through the grass at the fence line but to no avail........
