This area is now caravan park land will replace elsewhere further down the track
It appears that this cache is gone the gates have been removed an sent back to port Pirie and the land has been given to the council for the caravan park so the caretaker told us and the general public will no longer be able to access it
Looked for a while and couldn't find anything, then someone from the caravan park came and said the council moved the fence about a month ago so the cache is no longer there, but I've never been before so I might have been in the wrong place. Might need to be replaced or else archived.
We are staying in Crystal Brook for a few
days and this is our first find here..

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Today we moved camp from Laura to a 'Free Camp' just out of Crystal Brook. After lunch we headed into town to find as many caches as we could.
Just love the history here and the fact that the local caches seem to highlight so much of it.
We mistakenly parked in the visitor parking bays of the caravan park. Big mistake the caravan park owner/manager was not amused. Suggest you park in the carpark accessible from the main road BUT NOT the caravan park.
Cache found okay.

Nice quick find on our last day in Port Pirie. Was a little hard to extract the cache from its hiding spot, but managed to get there in the end with the help of a stick.

An interesting spot with the history involved here. Aussie Mark grabbed this cache with a bit of help from Mary. TFTC nic.hil.kel
Heading up to meet Aussie M & M in Chrystal Brook with mogni. Of course getting there would always provide a few stops. . Then it was a great meal at the diner with the Ms before heading out to grab some more caches.
I was hardly out the car before Aussie Mark had the cache in hand. His mojo was working overtime. Thanks nic.hil.kel.

Caching with my Brother-in-Law, who is not a cacher ... yet. While the rest of the family enjoy the Laura Festival that's on today.
I did try this early in my caching career, and could not find. Today almost a year on, quite easy, if tricky to retrieve.

Six DNF's should be enough to suggest this one has gone missing, I looked really well and must suggest maintenance is required.
I just went for a drive and this cache is still here. I replaced it in December unsure where my log went about this but it is definatley still there.
Didn't find think it has gone missing needs to be checked to see if it is still there we have looked a couple of times
We stayed at Crystal Brook last night and then meandered north admiring the wonderful crops.
I went for a walk this morning but couldn't find it so I went back for the phone to check details, but still no find nor sign.
Pretty sure I was in the correct spot.

Found cache on the ground and placed back in original position (we think). Nice area.
A quick drive by, you always feel good when you get a few of those in a busy caching day. Thanks.
Many thanks from Peter for this cache on the 13. Australia Trip (2012/2013).
Cheers Peter

After having a great nights bush camp at White cliffs and a few drinks around the fire we got off to a leisurely start still heading north towards Whyalla to attend the Munaryoo 4wd event tomorrow picking up some caches as we went. We pulled up near gz and couldn't help noticing how full the nearby caravan park was but there didn't seem to be any one moving around, perhaps they were at the nearby agricultural show. This one took us a little while and we resorted to the hint and then the well hidden cache was found not long after.
Damn that lush spring growth.
Thanks for the cache.

The campers were setting up. Some were in for the night. It was going to be a cold one. You could tell. The cache was already very cool to the touch.

Found while heading to Clare. When arrived a bunch of people were 30m away from cache. We looked as discreetly as possible. When all hope was lost Homer said "Could it be there?" And what do you know there it was. SL TFTC nic.hil.kel
Camping at the Crystal Brook camping grounds, I convinced three others to come for a hunt for this cache. In the end it was not me who found the cache, but Catriana. My first mini cache.
Lovely spot. Thanks for the cache.

Found on the way home from the Laura Folk Fair. I remember many smelters picnics in here as a young boy growing up in Port Pirie. The running track is still there, and the hut where you got free milk! Many good memories. TFTC
Found this cache at 3:10pm while staying in Port Pirie for a Vintage car Rally over Easter. They have been taking us out on some beautiful day trips and Crystal Brook was one of them. Have been past this park before (Had Lunch Then) It was getting very full with Caravan people. Lovely park.
Found cache reasonably easy.

After settling down at Crystal Brook caravan park...I decided to go and hunt a few caches around the town...parked near our caravan, Ms Bushies2 came over and she found it easily...last find for the day. Thanks nic.hil.kel. Merry Christmas
A sneaky hide, had us poking our fingers into holes that probably homed spiders and other creatures. HAd to avoid some muggles who were walking up the trail towards the cache, but after that, an easier find than expected. TFTC
After finding the 3 caches we headed up here to get time to grab a few on the way home. Took the wrong road in and ended up in the Caravan park. Clue helped narrow it down for us. TFTC
Sneaked in here as it was before 7am only to find we were in the caravan park... Ooops.. Road through was blocked due to the flooding but we walked to GZ.. Soon had cache after a bit of coaxing.. Signed and replaced no quite so far in...
