As a past Finder thought we'd try our luck but after a good search came up the same as so many of the past DNFs.
Think this one needs a visit by the CO.
Cheers

This was a DNF and I was just notified by the team I was with I had logged it wrong... My bad.... But this one was so not found... Pity... Cos we looked for ages
This has become my nemesis!!!!!! Even with the dense vegetation how does a group of cachers not find a large!!! I returned to this today and searched and searched with clare007 and Skuzzybear!! I shall return …………………………. again...……………!!
Wow, don't think I've seen an area like this with so many Yakka.
Having found many caches in this particular plant,
we were all confident that we would find this cache...
After half an hour our confidence had evaporated.
Darn it! Another DNF, it seems we had picked some tricky caches today.
An appropriately named cache for our unfound cache.
We'll be back SA_ParrotHead...

A very serious DNF... GZ did not want to give up it's contents even with CP Wanderer and Clare007 looking... Is it even there? Stay tuned... Another look another day!!
It feels environmentally unfriendly to trample through the vegetation to get this one so we won't be back for it. But thank you for your other caches though SA_ParrotHead.

We're all bleeding [xx(]
And we're sure it's there, it just defeated us. This time We are currently making vows to come back.

Frustration!!!!!!! Arrived here with AussieM&M, GizmosGang and Cracked Chelle and searched ................ and searched ...................... and searched!!! No joy!! I think after half an hour we were all bleeding and frustrated. We read some log entries and phoned a previous finder and searched on for another 20 minutes .............. still without any luck. How do you not find a LARGE !!! Shall return ................. perhaps with a D9 bulldozer and some explosives!! (joking!!)
Technically not a DNF for me as I was physically challenged and couldn't gain entry to the area. The only contribution I made to the fruitless search was an extra GPS to try and narrow down GZ, encouragement from the sidelines and assistance with PAF.
We have all vowed to return (for me when I'm more physically able). I think this will be a nemesis cache for us all. The yacca will not beat us!

4 sets of eyes and a PAF still made this DNF and the vote for needs a check. Not a 1.5 anymore. Took one previous finder 3 visits to find this one. Will be back.
We count ourselves in the category of people with way too many drink bottles at home. Shame we only had our good one with us and didn't want to part with it. Isn't that always the way though, the annoying to use ones never make it out of the cupboard in the first place. Thanks parrothead for the cache (our last for the evening)
This cache sucks. But that's the idea of drink bottles. This cache isn't so fun to find in the wet and cold and in the dark but it was great to see a huge bucket in the bush. TFTC
Sunday morning and the sun was out. Great day for a spot of country caching. TFTC
Found It!
One of the most difficult to find 'large' caches I have ever come across. After a lot of wondering around I spotted it and it is indeed large! I also now greatly dislike yacka bushes...

We found the cap and mug versions back in our early days of geocaching, so have been wanting to get out this way again and log the trifecta! Today was the day, and we made a nice quick find on another large ParrotHead cache with a generous sized logbook to go with it.
We happen to have an identical container all painted up and ready to place. We already have it stocked with a variety of stubbie holders, just have to come up with a name for the cache. 'Crack a Coldie'?
Thanks SA_ParrotHead.

Just love large caches, had plenty of bottles to drink from but signed log and off to next one.
Out and about on the 2016 Geocaching Day, will travel some Travel Bugs today.
Out with Magic[8] today, chasing up a few outstanding caches from previous adventures.
This one was one that we managed to get a little Yellow Smiley face, a great day has been had by us today.

After trekking through Para Wirra park today I attempted this cache. Being regulars I expected it to be a quick find but sadly I have to register a DNF.
Out with Mattycat for a caching day hike through the southern end of the park, with a little time on our hands we headed north for a couple more, quick find on a nice sized container no bottles to suck on but we did have our own supply just in case TFTC SA_ParrotHead
#1872 Out for a drive while visiting here from Melbourne and picking up a couple of caches along the way. After a fair bit of bush bashing the cache was finally found. It wasn't til I read some prior logs and saw a couple had mentioned the co-ords were 11m out by their GPSr that we widened the search and made the find (11m out by mine too). One of the largest caches we've found - we like something different! Thanks SA Parrothead.
Having found the rest of this little series years, and not sure why I hadn't found this one, perhaps I forgot to log it, it was an easy find in the bush.
Didn't bring any suckers to drop in, and didn't take any as we have more than enough also!
Thanks

Always nice to find a PH hide, out exploring tonight and grabbed this one. We didn't suck on anything! SL TFTC

After going here there and everywhere we eventually found it 11 metres from GZ, now that is a cache lol, had no bottles to swap but have plenty at home i could have dropped in there : ) TFTC
Took a bit to find 11Meters out. Grass seeds and spikes to contend with

Come up this way after school tonight and decided to stop by and grab this extra large cache. I was 10 metres from it, but had to conquer my fear of the snake kind and search for the cache. Mind you I had 4 boys with me so the noise coming from them would have had every animal, bird and insect running for cover. No swaps today TFTC
Quick and easy find.
Found the spot where people have cut the fence to drive and ride into the forest.

Somewhere along this road we spotted a stolen? wrecked vehicle, fortunately it was not a lost cacher. Pity the containers were empty so could not suck on this but managed a few fronds in the mouth and nose, SL TFTC

Found during the 2013 Labour Day Tagalong Tour of Para Wirra Recreation Park area with *Cache_or_Check*, FeatherWaite and Tiger_Muffin.
Took Nothing Left all my swaps at home, anyway the bucket is not big enough.
Thanks to SA_ParrotHead for the fun cache.

Found with the intrepid team of Cache or Check, Tiger Muffin and Bob from Elsewhere after a triumphant visit to Nonagon Nemesis. Meandered around the abundance of geotrails before finally spotting the container. Thanks for the cache SA Parrothead!
After completing Nonagon Nemesis a little earlier we all had empty water bottles in our bags. A quick visit to Malcolm Douglas emptied a few more. So we could have easily made some swaps here.
However instead all we did was sign the log before returning into Para Wirra with what little water we still had.

This container is considerably larger and on much flatter ground than that of Nonagon Nemesis. Don't see too many large containers, particularly those filled with more containers. TFTC SA Parrothead.
out for the afternoon with LOCUS CACHE, when she turned up an 1.5 hours late, and picked up 3LG later, out once again with this crew 8{P
nice big cache and easy to find when the gpsr decides it want so to play fair. and only got prickled a few times, which is less then a BBB cache.
the fence was down so we drove in. not long after we start to look all i hear is "OHHHH S**T!!!" from locus as she fell down. i checked to see if she was ok which she was, and then had a chuckle at her
this cache gets a favourite point for the momeroy it created

I cachernapped chrispy89 and we headed out to find some caches.
All up, we found 5 on our own prior to meeting up with 3LG and then we managed to locus cache 6 more with only 1 DNF all afternoon.
We took Harry to some cool places where he could climb hills and got some very nice 'drive by' caches
Saw lots of kangaroos and even found a few puddles too
Yep, guess whose sandals slipped and so they landed flat on their bum[?] Me!
Such a small incline too but I was busy watching that I didn't tread on a snake or get stabbed by spikey grass plants that I fell instead.
Still, all made better by the large container with some cute contents

Woah! No need for camo on this one. Well, it'd take a bucketload of camo paint to do it! Ha ha. No bottles swapped though. Hey ours are exy super tough aluminium jobs with insulated sleeves; you're not getting your hands on them. Besides, they've done several thousand k's of hard bushwalking with us over the years & are firm friends.
found at 6pm in the rain no torch over half an hour searching, nicely hidden
What a beautiful day to geocache and what lovely bush it is around here.
Making the indirect way from Kalbeeba to Victor Harbor.
I was pretty sure I had a drink bottle in the car so stopped at the appropriate parking spot. Sure enough!
Wow! You have to watch your eyes on this pointy stuff.
Did my usual trick of going around on circles before finding the prize. Love these ones.
In went my CPS Community Australia bottle and out came a plain green one. I liked the shade of green.

TFTC. Lovely spot and fantastic bottles. Pity I didn't have one to swap. Oh well, can always come back. TNLN. ??
Found in the dying light of a very wet day; left a small blue man water bottle. The golden wattle smells wonderful and looks simply beautiful this time of year - even on a cloudy day which just seems to add to the contrast between the yellow blooms and the drab background (on a wet day). Love this place - tool nothing, signed log. TFTC
Lots of options at GZ but eventually claimed the prize. Unfortunately all the bottles were empty so my thirst stayed on. Thanks SA Parrothead. (apologies for the late log)
Didn't know I was going to be out this way so did not come prepared for swaps of this size! Cold day walking in Parra Wirra Cons Park - sunny spots made it more bearable but wow the air is colder than we get at the beachside! Love these big buckets. TFTC
We knew what we were looking for and made our way to GZ the cheat's way as there was a hole in the fence on the roadside. Picked up M&M TB. LN TFTC
Looks like we've done this series in reverse, starting with the latest hide. TNLNSL TFTC
Stop three on our day of swimming, kayaking, hiking and coffee drinking all in the name of sport.
As is the usual way of things, we took the hardest way in and the easiest way out. We do like these big containers. No bottle swaps, we did a clean out recently (and most of ours are covered in bicycle grease!)

My very first Geocaching adventure and I found it!! Took a bit of getting used to using the GPS app i had, pitty I didnt research earlier and see there were a few more in the area. TFTC
I don't take too kindly to these types of plants around here and try to avoid them at all times. But sometimes it can't be helped. By the third cache of this theme, I kinda figured where to look and wasn't too long before I spied the hide. Whether I was a mug, needed capping or just sucked, I had a fun time.
Thanks for the caches, SA Parrothead.

GPS was playing up in the area but after quite some time managed to find the well hidden cache!
A great hide, you have to be right on top of it before you can spot it.
Word of advice, wear gloves! The surrounding vegetation is sharp! Oh well, that's why the iodine is in the geobag
Took bottle and Left a bottle.
Thanks for the great hide!

Located the area without any problems but stopped before thrashing through the sword grass. There is no way through without stepping on,and crushing the vegetation.
