This one has had its time. Thanks for you all for getting to the end of the line.
This is a lovely little park with river running through it. Unfortunately we didn't find the cache either. Had a good look at a couple of ends but nothing. Wonder if it needs checking by the co after a few dnfs now.
We had popped out this way with Mr HeMaLuDy to collect something and stopped in Tuakau for some lunch. After rolling out of the pub (really good food but the longest lunch we have had in a long time) we just had to stop for the couple of local caches before heading home.
Parked up close by and made the short walk across the reserve. Had a look around but nothing seemed to quite fit the hint. Used the PAF option and they confirmed we were in the right spot so we looked some more but came up empty handed. Oh well its just another excuse to get us back to have another look!
Thanks for bringing us here anyway.

We scrabbled around looking in various ends, but had no luck. I had a wooden train whistle to leave here too!
This one has been my nemisis. It was tucked away good! Today i FINALLY found it!
Another grand adventure with Gap (of Fap and Gap). We hope to rack up as many caches as we can, and put them toward our current GIO License Challenge. Today, we head to North-West Waikato to tackle some of the most isolated, far-flung caches I've ever seen. A big drive that will take us from Port Waikato to Raglan Harbour, and everywhere in between... And the weather is going to make this ride interesting.
A third cache we hadn't planned on finding... But we did. I found that the coordinates were a bit out, but a good hint and Gap (who has previously found this), made this short work. TFTC.

I enjoyed this . the park , the bridges the train that sped past with 30+ carriages . It was wet and miserable and folks should be made to pick up the dog poo. I still loved the cache area and the hint was right on . TYFC
i'm wondering if this cache is still here or if i'm just looking in the wrong place! 2nd time looking for this one with no success!
In the area for work today and as luck would have it i finished about lunch time so passing the little reserve i stopped and checked if any caches were nearby and quickly took a walk through rain showers to grab this one. A bit wet underfoot but happy to have my first Tuakau cache! No trains passing this time but TFTC!
Out and about with mitsimandman today for a hike and some caching in the rain. MMM swears it was in a different spot when he found it. I'm not so sure! Cheers for the hide!
Quick stop on our attempt to do 50 in a day and at least 1km apart for the Geocaching Licence. 27 down, 23 to go. Name of cache is a good clue. TFTC
I had to circle around because there was park maintenance working in the area. They finally went into their truck and I had a clear shot. Two trains came by while I was there: a westbound freight and an eastbound passenger.
Afterwards, I crossed the footbridge and noticed that it is quite new, just being dedicated on May 18, 2014.

A nice hunt! Description reads true as we had 3 trains thunder past during the retrieve! TFTC from The Fraser Family.
What a lovely wee spot. From where I parked I had to use the stepping stones to get across the stream. The scramble down the bank wasn't as easy as getting to cache.
Thanks for bringing me here.

New Zealand 2103 trip for the Auckland Mega at Albany. Day 12, Waingaro to Auckland, Western Park. The steep slope seemed to be closer to my GZ than where I eventually found it, but I was happy and it was time for a snack. Thanks.

Decided to pick this one up on our way home from a day of geocaching with Vamber and alpenmilch80.
A relatively quick find in a beautiful and restful park.

Had trouble logging this on my phone so had to wait until I got home. Happy travels.
Took some scrabbling but came up with the cache after a short search. Lovely reserve. Tftc.
Heading back home in a roundabout way and we came past this nice little spot. After a bit of a wander to find the best (driest) way to GZ we scrambled up to the where we needed to be. No trains around today, so able to sign the log in peace. Nice spot, TFTC
Slowly headed back towards home but had time for a few more before we lost sunlight so made a small detour and swung past here. Really nice little park and after a short search (including a diversion to see the doves) we had the cache in hand. Great spot - TFTC
I had to do it the hard way and park on the wrong side of the creek lol but an easy find here, i removed the chewing gum that had turned to mush, TFTC.
Quick find once we read the description better! Took the hard way up to GZ, not recommended! Haha. TFTC!
This one took me much longer than it should have, do to over-thinking it lol! Lovely little park, thanks for bringing me here TFTC!
Out with Z-masterNZ, trying to make our way through Pukekohe and Tuakau.
Too many muggles out so only a few today.
#3 for this trip.

Cache appears to be low on goodies (only a sticker left). Not at the place I would class as end of the line, but left as found. I only signed the log. Lovely park!
A very pleasant little park to wander around. Like the rail overbridge with the big arch.
Many thanks
Many thanks
Had a nice day geocaching my way from Hamiton to Auckland. Found this cache easily in a nice area. SL TFTC
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
We were down this way completing the nearby Solar System Trail and headed back to Auckland picking up a few more caches along the way. We stopped in Tuakau to grab this cache after a pleasant walk across the reserve and through an interesting mix of Yuccas and Kauris.
Thanks for the cache!

Was heading south to do a few caches in a couple of different series and couldn't resist stopping for this one. TFTC
Was at the nearby Tuakau Salesyards competing in a Pukekohe Car Club Motorkhana, so popped over and nabbed this one in the lunch break. Luckily the path took me most of the way there, because the grass is very boggy at the moment. Thanks for the cache.
Quick stop and find of this one with mike-miss on our way down to do the solar system series. TFTC!!!
It was another trip for me down South of the Big Smoke to finish off what I started last week.
I certainly came to the end of the line to locate this one.
In: Geocoin.
Cheers for the cache.

I'm a local and have never really stopped at this park before. It's a really nice little place to stop and a really neat little cache. Added a dinosaur and butterfly; took nothing. Found with Lellums.

Wow! What a lovely little reserve! Parked and made the short walk towards GZ. We walked past a group of white doves roosting in a tree. Took the long way round as we didnt want to get wet feet. We made a quick find on arrival to GZ. Thanks for bringing us here and TFTC!!
Pff after the pressure of the 100/100 ready for a funcache. This is really a nice park. Our doggies could run. We have tought a moment of taking the short cut and crossing over the water....but my mind was more setup to keep my feet dry and it was pretty slippery so walked around.
Need to say that the last bit for a 1.5 is a bit steeper than expected.
The cache was not hidden at the piece holding the end of the line. I have replaced as I found it, but had the feeling it should be somewhere else.
Thanks for showing us such a beautiful reserve.

Thanks to a little help from thejaybees we found it today!
Spent a good time with young nieces & nephew in the park looking for this one, great activity that we were all excited about =)

Stopped for a quick s-t-r-e-t-c-h for Josie and found it in the obvious place. Thanks.
It can be thirsty work, so before this one we had a quick pitstop at the Tuakau Hotel (excellent Guiness and chips). At first I thought this was in Central Park, but Centenial Park was a good place for a quick cache find with not a train in sight.
6340 What a lovely little reserve, a beautiful day to be out and about. Thank you for a great place to stop for a brief moment to grab the cache.
Found on our 24hr cache-a-tron mission from Auckland to the Waikato. Kinda took the wrong way to the cahce, crossed the stream (not required) but once there cache was quickly in hand then off to the car to continue our journey! TFTC

We didn't really take the most straightforward route to this one - but hey it was fun crossing the stream and climbing the bank. Cache itself (once we got there) was a quick find, and we took the quicker route back the the cachemobile.

Some good bush bashing for this one and face planting into bushes. Yay, that's what Geocaching is all about. TFTC.

Found on our 24hr caching mission, Cache-A-Tron - Auckland to Hamilton and back again. We took the more adventurous route to this one, across the river and a bit of rock climbing close to GZ... Finding the cache was the easy bit!
