Very quick find after reading the recent activity. Log very wet, so could not extract or sign.

Had hoped to do this trail this afternoon but spent about 20 minutes here not making any progress. Suspect it may well still be there, but couldn't find for looking today, will try again another time.
Headed for a walk in this reserve with Merlot before it gets closed due to kauri dieback. Whilst Merlot parked the car Mrs Jag searched for this one - took a while as there were so many items matching the hint. Very sneaky hide G2
Good caching experience finding the ones on this trail! this one hadn't been found for long enough for roots to grow on it! log was wet and hard to get so only online logging for this one. tftc
They should add a sign next to the Kauri Dieback one that says, "Warning: G--2 Caches are hidden along this path. Enter at your own risk. I'd turn back if I was you!"
This cache was beyond nasty and qualifies for an outright dastardly hide. At first, I looked around GZ and there were literally dozens of places that fit the hint. After checking all of these, none had the cache. I gave up for a while and went to find the others in the park. On the way back, I tried once more and somehow stumbled on the cache. I hadn't even considered this location the first time. TFTC.

#96 Ooh this one got me good! GPS was bouncing all over the place so got to work on the hint. Up and down the hill I trudged, exploring every option and coming up empty handed. Then I saw something and I just knew the cache was there! Put my hand in and was signing the log, TFTC!
Just as I was about to give up, I found it! I got lost, didn't slip, but ñearly tripped over it. Tftc
Out for first caching adventure with vistra around Taylors Reserve. Walked past it on the way in, collected it on the way out. TFTC
First smiley on a new to us track. Nice that this one was so close to the track. NINO TFTC
Out for an afternoon bush walk to escape the heat. We attempted to visit Kerr-Taylor Reserve 8 days ago but were thwarted by the traffic going to a nearby Hot Rod show. Today no issues, nice and quiet. Quick find following the hint.
Our 1st visit here. We had no idea this bush reserve existed. Now heading further to see what we may find

This piece of bush was a delight to visit despite the series of DNFs we had on our way today. Fortunately this wasn't one of them. tftc
I never knew this bush existed until Pazza said she wanted to come and get the caches here. Her eagle eyes spotted this one so we were off to a good start
Didn't even know this reserve existed but thought I would use it to learn about my new GPSr. Missed this one on the first pass but searched again on the way out. Kicked myself when I saw it. Nice hide.TFTC
Hate to think how many times I walked past this one!!!! Took a good 10 minutes of going up and down, in and out! TFTC
Had to expand our search a bit to find this one. There were several spots that fitted the hint. Cleverly camo'd.
Looked high and low but no luck on this one. Our GPS seemed to place is quite some distance from the clue bit nothing in either locations. Maybe next time.
out on a nice easy walk with alligatorsnz and almost converted teen son. this was the first cache of the day. A funny thing just occured to me, when we started looking for this cache, teen son slipped on his backside in the mud how ironic haha...didnt get that until now. I looked for a wee while for this one..really wasnt necessary but caching brain clearly was stuck in neutral still at that stage, thankfully it kicked into gear! thanks
Spend a while traveling up and down the path with flakey signal, until eventually our eyes dropped low enough!
Who needs a personal trainer when you can have a bouncing GPS? Up, down, into the bush, out of the bush, back where we started. Then as I looked down for a bit of inspiration, there it was! Most excellent and it was nice and dry inside. Thanks for bringing us to this awesome place!
Sometimes your title of the cache is as clever as the cache itself Glyn! But not this one... hah hah hah, just joking, it's not bad, not bad.
Decided do take my new tyres out for a spin during the late afternoon. It wouldn’t be a good trip without collecting some geocaches on the way. First stop with a longer break was at the Kerr-Taylor Reserve to collect the five geocaches which call this reserve home. TFTC
Lost GPS in the area but happened to be looking in the right spot at the right time while walking past.
My first time in this Reserve and was delighted. Have been past many times.
Well done F & B. Had looked at hint but trusted GPS too much.
Took ages , easy find as about to give up !!!!! TFTC.

Man ....took ages on this ! My phone GPS led me to another punga grove ....Finally Ric widened search and there it was ! Soooooo cute ! Lovely wee possie !
The Future Finder and I decided to save this cache for last so we good track our progress back to the entrance/exit. Looking at the logs now I see this us the recommended action. Looked in a couple of likely spots before finding it in the third. Cheers for brining us to this lovely area!
As with every one else, it foxed us on the way in.. with the signal and position floating all over the place but mostly to far away, on the way out out it sprung with the position being way more accurate.. typically good work by the CO, where less is always more:-)

A nice walkway that we never would have heard of unless there were caches inside.
Missed on the way in, but eventually found it.

Had my I on these little piggies for a while now as they are fairly close to my daughters school in Huapai, I was already wet from doing the MWPT trail and the rain had now stopped so i thought I would give them ago before picking up Imogen from school. #1 This one had me stumped looking all over for the short Punga then it popped into vision took a lot more searching than it should have.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Was searching the area with urbangypsynz, wanting to explore a reserve that we had not visited before. In the end found them all, but someone has not hidden a new one! I guess we have to come back. Thanks again for the hide.

1.00pm. Looked for this one on both the way in and the way out but to no avail. Couldn't actually see the configuration referred to in the hint. Not destined to be a find for us today. Thanks anyway.

10202… Mrs YuGeo was keen for a bush walk, but changed her mind when she saw all the protruding roots, she didn’t want to get lost and slip over… Once is enough, she reckons… Anyway, thanks for bringing us back… and for the cache of course.
Quick find that started us off on a beautiful walk through the reserve

Quick and easy find with Krackup. No GPS but guessed where it was from the map, found the ponga trees and there it was.
Thanks for bringing me to this lovely area of native bush. Nice camo. Quite muddy so am glad I wore my tramping boots. TFTC.
Out and about with the Kiwiz@gz today. Only had the iPhone but the hint was useful.
No rain at this point however I just didn't have the right footwear.... That didn't help my cause as others in the group was only too keen to find this cache.
Even though I complained of my ill fate footwear I had to bite the bullet and get in there.... Only too find we had to start up a small up rise! With the mud and wet ground this just made it harder for myself but on I went.
Manned with the Iphone I thought this to be a waste of time as going bush the signal just wouldn't be. To my surprise it worked well and even got within a reasonable distance to GZ then of course the hint just made all the difference

I got almost lost, slipped and needed a better pair of shoes - slippery here with the recent rain so care needed on the tracks here!

After running around the forest for 90 minutes orienteering, Ryan still had energy to burn so ran around the 3 caches that we hadn't completed in this area and got them all in under 15 minutes. Thanks for bringing us back here.
Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Headed out this morning to locate some of the 101 Dalmatian caches that we failed to find when we did the power trail last year. Having more time this trip, we decided to locate some of the other nearby caches also.
Didn't know about this reserve before, and had a really pleasant walk around here today.

Got his on my exit from this delightful reserve. After gaining the other caches my familiarality with cache owner's style was complete and I spotted the cache instantly without even reading the description or the hint.
Being on a roll we thought we would try to find these before the sun set. Track very wet but caches all good. t4tc
Always like this piece of bush. Couldn't see the cahce the first time I looked, so went on to the find the other little piggies. Gave it a good look on the way back, and there it was, right where it said it was going to be. TFTC.
Returning from the forest collecting a few pine cones, detoured to this one. Late afternoon, so decided to just do this one and come back another day earlier to do the others. A lovely piece of bush. Good hide. SL. TFTC.
This is our second visit to this great little park. Parked at the designated parking spot and we were greeted by a very young foal/filly rolling around on the grass. Thoroughly cleaned our shoes before the brief walk to GZ and once the GPS finally settled down and with the help of the hint we soon had the cache in hand. Thanks for bringing us back here TFTC.

This is a very nice piece of bush with some nice size kauris in it.
Cheers for the cache.

Quick find without GPS (phone reckoned it ran out of battery on the way there) - went straight to it . Must have just missed Kiwicouple - their car was there but no sign of them so they must have gone for the other caches on the walk. TFTC!!!
Didn't get the notification for this one, but had just sat down at the computer with a coffee not too longer after publishing. Finished our coffee and headed for Kerr-Taylor Reserve. The entrance to the Reserve isn't obvious but we were watching out for it, and found the parking spot. GPS led us a little bit astray at first but we were armed with the hint and eventually spotted the obvious. Nice wee hide, thanks. Continued on along the track to the other three caches in the Reserve.
