Found the replacement cache left by the green team 2. However i have noticed the cache has been archived. We retrieved the cache left by the green team but will still log a find.
The green team suggested we collect there cache.
Thanks

It looks like our little car has been well and truly abandoned so we will be putting this one to bed
8:58:00 AM. We were camped here the night so while having a beer we had a search over the burnt ground. We were camped next to the water tank so didn't have far to walk. Next morning with boots on, back out again but no luck. We ended up replacing the cache with a white vitamin container with log and a couple of domino's. Hope the CO is OK with this. If not let me know and I will delete the log and get a friend to remove the cache as he travels through in a couple of weeks. Thanks TiedyeSmileys for placing this cache.
I couldn't find the cache and by the time I write this log it's already archived .
Thanks for showing me this location and the cache!

Sorry for logging late...
This cache was visited by me either during the one month (February 2015) of hiking/tramping in NZ together with Bärgegumperli or in March/April 2015 while on a bicycle trip across NZ and AUS.
We/I enjoyed geocaching a lot.
Hiking
Hikes:
- Abel Tasman NP: Motueka, Kaiteriteri, Marahau, Inland Track, Separation Point, Coastal Track, Marahau.
- Nelson Lakes NP: St. Arnaud, Hopeless Hut, Travers Saddle, Blue Lake, Waiau Pass, Thompson Pass, D'Urville Valley, Lake Angelus, St. Arnaud.
- Arthur's Pass NP: Mt Brown Hut, Styx Valley, Browning Pass, Whitehorn Pass, Waimakariri Valley, Jordan Saddle, Hut Spur, Arthur's Pass, Mt Aicken
- Bridle Path
The weather conditions were great for tramping almost every single day. We enjoyed the beautiful landscape, the peace in some very remote areas and the many friendly people we met on our way or in the different huts.
Cycling from Dunedin to Auckland
It is not my first tour with this bicycle (map with long loading time).
Places along the route: Dunedin, Otago Central Rail Trail, East Manuherikia track, Tekapo, Fairlie, Geraldine, Oxford, Waipara, Hanmer Springs, Jacks Pass, Island Saddle, Picton, Wellington, Homedale, Hutt River Trail, Masterton, Pongaroa, road near Taumatawhakatangihangakoauauotamateapokaiwhenuakitanatahu, Waipukurau, Fernhill, Taupo, Whakamaru, Tirau, Hauraki Rail Trail, Kawakawa Bay, Aukland.
After one month of perfect weather (see above) I finally got what I had to expect: Some rain... And sometimes stron headwinds. That the route was not flat at all meant usually that the landscape is great .
*
Cycling from Melbourne to Darwin
Places along the route: Melbourne, Great Ocean Road, Penshurst, Edenhope, Jervois Ferry, Sedan, Tanunda, Crystal Brook, Port Augusta, Coober Pedy, Uluru/Ayers Rock, The Olgas/Kata Tjuta, Mereenie Loop, Alice Springs, Karlu Karlu/Devil's Marbles, Litchfield NP, Mandorah, Darwin.
Along the coast the weather was often wet and cold. The small roads in Victoria and South Australia were very pleasant to ride despite a lot of headwind. This changed as soon as I reached the Stuart Hwy to sometimes strong tailwinds. That's why I had some "spare" time to ride a loop in the Red Centre. Further north
As in NZ i met some awesome people.
*
Guess what I did while waiting for a connecting plane in Perth?
Greetings from Switzerland / Gruess us dr Schwiiz
*There are a lot(!) of caches which I did not search while on the bicycle trip. The reasons are mainly:
1. Stopping slows if one wants to get somewhere, especially on bridges where no one wants to slow down a fully loaded touring bike. Yes, there were quite a few days with >200 km on the pushbike...
2. Riding or resting next to a loaded (recumbent) bike attracts in some areas so much attention that stealth mode is not possible.
3. On rare occasions I rode during the night. If I had to do that there was no time to search for caches anyway [:-(]
4. Some places I did really not consider worth stopping for a cache... Sorry.
Thanks for showing me this location and the cache!

Searched with and without GPS....no where to be found.....Will have to add to the list for on the way back.
felt a bit silly not being able to find this one before my brother came. guess I was looking at the GPS too much. TFTC
Fun find, did not really have to use the tap, just used the location on the GPS.
When I caught up to my brother he was standing around looking for it and as soon as I stood where he was standing I could see it.

With TDS having sadly left the Territory, it was only appropriate to find their most southerly NT cache.
And another classic piece of TDS handy-work!

Clever cache. Lots of interesting bits and pieces left behind too! Had to wait a while for campers to leave the area
Had had a roll over and was in sight. Did some repairs and put it in a bit more of a secure Parking Bay. All ok. Took a coin. TFTC
It was a quick find on our way from Daly Waters to Devils Marbles. Greetings from Germany
[Pink]As we head from town to town as part of our "Purposeful Meander around Oz" the Rats and the Mini Rats found this cache. Dad did most of the hard work here, the detail of the find can be found in the Rats log. Sorry for the duplicate log but it takes nothing away from the find.
Thanks for being part of our great adventure.

This stop was full of muggles getting ready to camp for the night. I was going to give up, but knowing it was a TDS cache I couldn't resist. With muggle husband's help we were as quick and sneaky as possible! Another great cache container from TDS, a fav point from me. TFTC

Fairly quiet mid morning between check out and check in. Tidy roadside spot they even provide firewood. Thx TiedyeSmileys.
This was my first of the day. Found this one on my roadtrip through Australia on my way to Darwin. Attempted the day before but high muggle activity forced a retreat. More luck today in the morning everybody was quite busy with leaving. What a great little spot to spend the night.

Hardly any muggles around at the moment and good quick finds along the road.
Although there was muggles at the tank, they had no idea what I was doing.

Found on our Northward trek to the top end TFTC loved this one because of the TLC that goes into the cache containers. Fav point.
This was a welcome stop after a long drive. Some shade, picnic tables, a clean loo with paper and even some water to wash your hands. On top of this the was a cache.
No abandoned cars today, although we came close to seeing one as we waited for the lads to fire up the engine in their bongo van. Took a while, but they lived to drive another day!

After more than 4 weeks, we are now in Katherine and have our first internet connection for a few days.
It is time to log what we have found and get ready for the next stage of our 7 week Outback adventure that has included following the Riley's Through the Red Centre.
We had to wait for a family to stop playing with an Axe at GZ and leave before we could complete this cache.
Visited a group of trackables sharing the experience.

Found on our way north. TFTC I must say you don't see as many abandoned cars these days as before.
2680 Found by baby&Mrs gopher at 1500. Every now and then you can be issued a challenge with caching. Once we had worked out gz we fond a generator sitting on top of the find. As we had pulled up we had watched the owner of the generator pull the start cord. Well what now, the Mrs walked over to the campers and asked could we shift the machine to have a look under it. After a quick lesson on geocaching they said no worries and wanted to help. As it turned out they had found a cache accidentally in Queensland and were only too happy to find out more. SL Tnx TiedyeSmileys.
Made this our camp spot for the night, as we are heading north towards Darwin.
As it was a warm night, happy hour went to well after midnight.
After muggles had finally gone to bed, we grabbed our torches to find this cache.
We stumbled around in the dark for a short time before finally finding it.
Thanks for the cache, TiedyeSmileys.

WanderingAus wandered by on day 79 of our annual Climatic Refugee trip, finally heading south after 9 weeks in Darwin and 3 days in Katherine.
As happens most years we decided to pull in here for morning tea. As we approached TomTom alerted me to the presence of a cache, and as I slowed I could see the icon on the screen. The two shady spots were taken, so I parked to the right of the unoccupied last picnic shelter. While I headed up to the facilities, a cup of tea and fruit cake with butter on was prepared, and when I got back we carried it all over to the picnic shelter. By then both shady spots were free, but it wasn't very hot so we left the rig basking in the morning sun.
I had removed the gpsr from the dash and stuffed it in my pocket, so while drinking my tea I pulled it out and woke it up, so that I could check the size of the cache I'd seen on TomTom. I've been trying to avoid micros, so it was nice to see it was a small. After deploying a Munzee nearby I went for a look, and made a fairly quick and easy GAFF 0 find at the third 'obvious' spot I looked. Of course if I'd read the cache description or hint it would have been quicker, saving me perhaps 2 minutes. If I'd noticed the cache owner I also wouldn't have been so surprised at another nicely constructed hide.
My Groundspeak find No 2,937, fourth find for the '31 days of geocaching', TNLNSL.

What are the odds??? On the way south this spot was full of travellers, putting up for the night, so we thought we'd get it on the way home.
Midday... and it was full of travellers - AND pouring with rain... in May??? Humph!
We'll get it one day, TDS's!

On way through after overnight stay in Alice heading to our Cousins Wedding in Darwin, so why not cache on the way and take our time to pick up afew road side ones. Second cache in my great Southern migration, Katherine to Melbourne. TFTC TNL PT.
Thanks for the Cache which I found on the way down to Adelaide. A nice place for a short stop.
Was too cautious to reach in past the cobwebs and whatever else might be lurking here. Sent pic to CO of cache to verify the find. Thanks for the cache and rest stop. No abandoned cars nearby, though.
Abandoned cars! Yes when we drove across the Nullarbor, up the west coast and down through here in the early seventies you could take your pick of vehicles if you needed an emergency hose or wheel providing that they hadn't been torched to simplify insurance matters particularly if the engine had cooked itself. I recall the most common vehicle was always the poor old combivan of a beetle I guess that the folks back in Germany hadn't taken into consideration the temperatures out here. Nice job on the cache
Easy find not a muggle in sight but then it is above 40 deg. Great little cache, very similar to one up in Darwin except that one is a dog. Thanks TiedyeSmileys Really liked the old car photos
Nice easy cache. Good overnight stay place. TCTF Left marble game and took bug in box.
It wasnt hard to find this one with all the help that we got from the nearby campers. Even whilst trying to be inconspicuous, the "locals" couldnt help themselves. "It's over there", "near the tree", "a little to the left"... How could we not find it? Treasure soon in hand with log signed. TFTC
Got to love those TiedyeSmileys and their creativeness. Cache is good. TFTC Another favourite for this one.

Took: Nothing
Left: Parachute Man
We grabbed the trackable from the cache

**NOTE** This cache may be missing. Have not had a response from queries to the last DNFers.
The cache was placed as the hint says. From the large water tank a tap is poking out. The tap almost points towards the cache. Go to the edge of the slope down where the tap is pointing. About a couple of meters or so to the left are some largish rocks just over the edge (about 1m down the slope?). The cache was placed under some rocks under the largish one. The outer container concealing the Regular cache was painted dark brown.
We would appreciate the next people passing through following these instructions to see if it really is missing.
Thanks.

We are not sure if we were looking in the correct place, according to the hint I feel we were. If so, I really feel that this one may be MIA.
YAY!!! FTF for us It was really fluke with this one because before we left the caravan park at Tennant Creek, I asked Mr Bushies2 to check the google map for the caches route towards North where we were heading then he noticed that one cache hasn't been found so he opened the list and told me that this new cache was published the day before, WOW!!! We drove around 275km, hoping no one has found this cache...arrived the rest area, no one around which was great...took a while before it was found by Mr Bushies2, YAY!! We are FTF!!! We have met TiedyseSmileys twice at the previous caches past Alice Springs recently. This rest area is 100% ideal area to hide a cache, it has everything. picnic tables, water, information boards and toilet facilities...we also loved your cache...you get a favourite point from us Took nothing but dropped a geocoin. Thanks TiedyeSmileys for bringing us to this lovely rest area and of course cache
