Travelling with iluvtrekking on a SA caching foray. Staying a couple of days in Clare to grab some finds. Chilly but a good morning to be caching. Brad when he was kind. Thanks for the hide.
Found it! All good here, enjoying travelling the back roads finding caches along the way. TFTC!
The three of us were heading home from a trip up north, and stopped here to find this one.So sad that these rural railways are no longer operating.Signed the log. Thanks for the cache Big Bad Brad.
Another cache found on our 2022 South Australian Adventure.
We are enjoying our time travelling SA, fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Our thanks to all the COs for taking us on this geo-guided tour.

Today was my second day of caching around Clare. After the JAMMs team headed out to play the game I got myself organized for the journey home.
I collected some more caches on the way but also had 5 annoying dnfs and was cross with myself for forgetting the new caches published yesterday. Never mind will never clear the map .
Another 10km walked and more smiley faces ticked off the map.
My thanks to all the hiders for your contributions.

The usual Wednesday Wander for members of Befuddled Puzzle solving group had us heading once again in search of solved puzzles and anything else we might be passing. Today it was myself, SA Sewer Rats and Astro. [:o)] Today we were meeting at the Rat's Nest before heading northwards towards our ultimate goal of reaching the new caches at Clement's Gap. There were the usual laughs[^], bad jokes, a couple of FTF's and some more DNF's to add to a list that should be shrinking and not increasing. [:(!] A big day out with me not getting home until 1.00 a.m. the next day and Astro even later.
Cache found right where I expected it to be.
Only one of the three goals from last year achieved. So once again I will trying to get the other two this year. [^] Should be easy as I only have to get two multi caches in July from the lockdown and couldn't get out. [:o)] The other was DNF's that came down from over 50 to the low teens before blowing out again but I really want to see only single a single digit this year.
***Thanks Tk2 for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. ***
Logs prepared and published through GSAK.

Visiting Auburn to catch up with SpudBex. Today we headed off for Mr Felix to ride his bike along the Mid North Channel caches.Of course we had to stop before and after, [:o)] all in all we ended up with 52 smilies and 1 bee sting from a cache we ended up not attempting.
More spots that we would not have visited without Geocaching taking us along for the explore.

Heading home from a holiday on the Yorke Peninsula, Eagle needed to spend time at the Balaklava airfield. Owl reached out to JJ52 and they met up for a day of caching and fun. Not as many caches as originally hoped, due to some slightly soggy roads to be avoided, but a good day out. This was one of the soggy areas, so a longer walk than usual to a quick find.
Met up with Doctor Owl in Balaklava and we headed off for a fun day of caching around Blyth and Clare. We started off here and tried a few back roads that were very soggy. In the end we gave up on that idea and stuck to the better dirt roads and the bitumen. [^]
Wasn't comfortable going down the soggy road in my 2WD so parked on firmer ground and went for a little walk. Cache quickly found.
Thanks for the cache Big Bad Brad.

Real easy find as it was out in the open with only a couple of pencils left, could see where the cache was hidden, restored cache to hidey spot with a new log book and plastic bag

A detour along the back roads to this one, a short walk in and made a quick find here. Cache and contents are all good
Today I headed from Adelaide up north caching my way along from cache to cache and found myself in Peterborough for the evening. Stopped at Clare and Burra along the way as well as doing a few lab caches. Roughly 80 finds for the day.

Out and about squeezing in pre xmas caching with Purrfect Di.
At first I expected a creek under the road... but soon found the small container.

After a long day out with a Rat seeking some number building with nearby series, this was the last one for the day. Assessing the approach we played ringy ringy roses going around in circles searching for a suitable entrance to GZ. Deciding to park here the short trek was made to make the find and sign the log. As is always the case, our exit revealed the fence was down, hmm why did we not see that access before. Oh well another Smiley on the map. TFTC.
**# 17745** Found on the SA outback leg of our 2017 escape trip.
A cool fine Spring day for a drive around Auburn with Tassie Trekkers.
Not many muggles around today, and mostly good quick finds.
Was not sure if the fence was new but it looked like private property.
This one has been unloved for a long time, until now.
Thanks for the cache Tk2,

Today we explored Penwortham and surrounds using Geocaching as a guide and picking up a few caches on the way with Roostaman and this was one of them. We enjoyed the trip around the back roads. An easy find at GZ.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found on a New Year's trip up North with The White Dog Gang, Team Waldron, Uni & Medusa and shonkylogic. We had a fantastic time finding a lot of great caches along the way. While the weather was hot the company was great and we had fun times. All in all 150 finds and six DNFs for me over the two days.

Cheers and Happy Hunting

I could win an award for most caches found but not logged online. Please forgive this very generic log. If I admired your cache you'll get a favourite point from me and I'll likely come back and edit this log once I've caught up. If this generic log makes you unhappy - delete it. Life's too short to worry over it, I had fun finding your cache either way. Cheers!
I found this cache as part of a weekend in Clare.
The main events of the weekend were two cycling sessions, one for the Riesling trail and one for the Rattler trai, as part of a large group of cachers who descended on Clare for the Big Clare Bike Bash (BCBB).
I then went on to cache some of the local caches that I hadn't previously found with SEMIK.
Thanks for your cache.

A nice little corner, no wonder it's a summer track, lots of mud today! SL TFTC
Howard's Corner? Or Howard's roundabout? Went round and round a few times working out the best plan of attack. A willy wagtail came to check me out when I parked and considering the heat of the day he might have been looking for water. The tree is a real child's tree, I remember one just the same in my primary school playground. Great fun to climb and shelter under, and where I first discovered peppercorns. TFTC TN but left some swag.
Pretty easy find still travelling the backroads. Never seen this type of container but it's great for the job. TFTC Tk2.
Locus cache, RideTheGeoWalrus, Muggle partner & I continued our journey around the Clare region.
We enjoyed our geocaching week-end, including walking & riding on parts of the Riesling trail,
finding some pretty isolated cemeteries, driving up some great tracks & coming across an interesting bunch chilling out at the Stock men's cottage near the Heysen trail [8)]
But we completed our objective by finding Locus cache's 5,000 find [^]
I slowed my rush to find the cache as I didn't want to a) get caught in the fence and b) get caught by the low tree branches which as a tall person is sometime tricky
Thanks for the cache Tk2

Clare007, muggle partner and I headed out for the weekend to try and get me to my 5,000th locus cache smiley and on Sunday, we were joined by RideTheGeoWalrus, just to add to the fun
All up, at weekend's end, I had 67 smileys and only 2 DNFs and somewhere along the way, the magic 5,000th find happened
Drove some fun roads, found some great caches and just generally had a fantastic time geocaching, as usual!
With a hint like that, how could we resist!
A quick easy find after finding our way in
Such a shame that so many railways have disappeared over the years but they do leave some interestiung places to hide caches

Found on a day trip away with clare007, locus cache and muggle partner, around the Clare district with the aim of reaching a few milestones. My count was 39 for the day, with an awesome bike ride through part of the RT to break up the day.
Another one I charged on ahead with while locus and clare007 stayed around the edges. TFTC Big Bad Brad!

Was heading up to Melrose with the 4WD Club for the weekend but managed a few grabs on the way.

Indeed it is a strange bit of land.
Thanks to Tk2 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

What a funny bit of land! Much cursing from Mr Wibble as he had to go "in" (being the one without the bung ankle), muffled cursing was heard before "aha!" and then he bushbashed his way out.
Sent the geokid in to find this one, she had it fairly quickly and was pleased with herself.
After reading the hint there was nothing left to do but go in, so I did, and came up with the cache...
Thanks Tk2 for the cache

Complicated crossing. Who owns the land were the cache lives? I wonder if you could build a house there.
First for the day as I do a loop north to collect some caches and travel a road I've never been on before. Thanks
An interesting set of road junctions [?].
Quickly found. TNLNSL.
Not sure how well this will last when the wet weather sets in [?].
Thanks for one more Big Bad Brad.
