I found this cache as I headed back to Adelaide after a trip to the Northern Territory with Freddo for a few weeks. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks Homer&Lisa for the cache.
Bridge has been removed and is currently being replaced. Might need to replace cache at a later date.
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor, picking up caches as we go. We had just the tool for the job, but it still wasn't easy. Thanks for the cache Homer & Lisa.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. Basing ourselves in Peterborough for a few days to grab finds in the surrounds. Love these back country hides - our type of cachng. Thanks for the hide.
A delightful day caching around and towards Stone Hut and Laura from our current digs in Jamestown.
We happened to have the required TOTT in the geomobile so soon had the cache signed. Boiled the hilly for morning tea while we were here.
Many thanks for the hide Homer&Lisa

Stopped and descended then ascended with device of elevation.
The location was pretty obvious.
The surroundings were messy, empty bottles and rubbish suggested a local meeting spot!
Barely remains remained, found plastic baggy, pencil even, some broken polastic,,, not sure if that was it , and large lump of wood. Searched all surroundings but mosyly rubbish and wasps.
Luckily had a spare container in the vehicle, so thought we'd donate to keep this interesting location going... it's incredible how this bridge is held together really
With the company and help of Sebastbat and Jack today.

Take care out there, it's a dangerous world filled with rusty mint tins
...... a cache a day keeps the boredom away
--------
Most of our caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids.
No apples or other fruit needed An apple a day doesn't keep the doctor away, we've tried that
----------
Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on (Covid cancels caching!)
Keep a safe distance - cache the countryside
Awesome of all those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
We do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now...
until next time!

Arrived and knew where the cache was going to be so took my ladder. Up I went and as I was signed the cache the ladder fell from under me oops. I quickly jumped down and fixed it up and went again.
Today I started off in Peterborough and caches my way around the back roads in the northern area before finishing of the day with a bit of caching with Davidwazza near Wilmington and his event before making the drive home. A total of 89 caches for the day.
Thanks for the cache

8593 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1020. Time for a wander towards the north for a look see. Several caches found and unless mentioned are in good order and condition. We had our TOTT with us and they came in handy here. SL Tnx Homer&Lisa
Check the easy spots first! Not sure what it was doing there but it was. Cache replaced to it's terrain rating. TFTC
Got to this one at last. We had been circling the target for ages.
* attempt 1 - go up and try and retrieve the cache by tight rope walking
* attempt 2. Go back to car and get ladder. Carry ladder up
* attempt 3. Arrrg moment. When you have the ladder and look down to place it and see the cache on the ground.
* replace cache. Easy.
Thanks to Homer&Lisa and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
We made this trip up north to pick up some of the caches we keep driving past as we head to/from the outback .
The engineering holding this old bridge together was rather interesting [xx(][B)][?].
Found the cache on the ground [B)]. TNLNSL.
Replaced where we thought it belonged .
Thanks again Homer&Lisa.

Found while spending the afternoon caching in the area after being at the Folk Fair with family. Tftc
Found while on a country side caching expedition after the Laura Folk Fair. Some of our group were a little put off by the potential of the location but once traversed found the cache at ground level. Signed and replaced it to where we thought it should go. TFTC

Away for a weekend of caching with WhiteDog, Shonky, Uni, and Southern Cross
We started around Bowmans and finished the second day at Booleroo Centre.
We had no-one who is really tall, we had no children, and we had no ladder. We still signed the log book though.

Found on a New Year's trip up North with The White Dog Gang, Team Waldron, Uni & Medusa and shonkylogic. We had a fantastic time finding a lot of great caches along the way. While the weather was hot the company was great and we had fun times. All in all 150 finds and six DNFs for me over the two days.
TFTC and sorry about the generic log,
Cheers and Happy Hunting

Made a short detour as we head south to grab this cache. It was a quick find by Mr Beetle who only just reached it. Guess the creek name didn't come from this area, no pine trees to be seen anywhere around here. Got some suspicious looks from 2 car loads of passing muggles. Guess it was a strange place to be. Not like we were looking at the water or anything because there wasn't any there! Thanks,
In the area visiting family for Christmas, having arrived yesterday from Brisbane. Hubby retrieved this one, though I spotted it.TFTC
We parked on the side off the road and took off for a little walk. Pure luck we had the right angle and spotted the cache from a long distance. Retrieving the cache was more difficult than getting to it but geohubby managed to get it. TFTC Homer&Lisa.
Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia after having attended Oz Mega.
Today we had a very late start to the day but finally at lunchtime we made a move of the caravan to Laura. On arrival camp was set and Mr Felix then set out ot explore whilst Mrs Felix stayed home to cook soup! [B)]
This was one of the caches he found whilst out alone. Thank goodness Mrs Felix wasnt left to do this one on her own. Mr Felix made it unscathed.

Day 3 of our trip over to the Oz Mega event in Murray Bridge. Was exhausted last night after the all the traveling to get here, then the West Meets South event, but woke up this morning refreshed and ready to go again, anticipating lots of caches yet to be found. Cached all day and now starting to cache into the night too. Will have to return another day to see what this area really looks like. Thanks for the cache Homer&Lisa
Finally back this way to locate this one. Its good to have tall family members with you!!! TFTC
Catching up on some logs, found on a Sunday drive with my bestie SL Thnaks from PG
On the way to Wirrabara and stopped here.
Happened to have a sectional elevation device in the caching kit in the ute, so was an easy retrieval.
I think the terrain/difficulty stars maybe around the wrong way?
A nice little out of the way spot to ponder life.
TNLNSL
Thanks

Easy find, not so easy to get. Managed to reach it using a lenght of 3X2 as a ladder. TNLNSL
Sort of knew what to expect so had planned to put the step ladder in BUT someone forgot that so next best thing was to improvise... done that extremely well and soon had the cache in hand with the aid of a special tool out of the car.. Glad it hadn't been raining as it could get very slippery and with my record lately I may have finished up in the creek..
Thanks Homer&Lisa for the cache

We forgot to put the step ladder in the car today so we nearly drove past this one but we decided to give it a shot and glad we did as we managed to retrieve it with a few tools form the car and a few near by objects.

Freddo and Jame the newt were the perfect team to find the cache. The dead fox nearby was particularly smelly.

Coordinates good, cache nice and dry. Nice! I think the Terrain should be bumped up at least ½ a star tho!

Found and retrieved easily, using a hiking pole with a curved handle.
(Replaced using the "toss it" method.)
Took: Nothing
Left: Eraser

The Pine Creek area is very significant for us this weekend. We have come up to place a memorial on the grave of Mr matmob's great, great grandfather who is buried in the Pine Creek Cemetery. For some reason his grave was never marked, although his wife's was. Will post a photo in the next few days. Resorted to geograndfather's walking stick to retrieve this one! TFTC
