Having found this little container at both its original niche and then again when it was relocated we have had an interest in reading the logs of both frustrated and happy geo searchers ever since then!
We did take a photo of the container when we replaced it in its new niche some 4 years ago.and while passing by yesterday we called in and found that GZ was significantly changed obviously due to some serious search activities since we were here last.
We searched again but this time unsuccessfully and also noticed that some folk, with time on their hands, had collected most of the still intact pottery items from the piles and built some mini walls with them nearby.
Very artistic, but considering we left the container in a similar intact item, and if we were to make an educated guess it would be that it may have been used within these constructions, minus the camo container that to inexperienced eyes would be just another piece of.....?
Our photo is attached and anyone who has searched for "Where's Wally" may see it clearly exposed in the image
Hopefully our guesstimation is not so!`

Looked for ages with 3 friends couldnt find it!!

So, after spending more time surrounded by bricks it's another Dnf for me! May be confirmation from CO that it is still there would be good to know .

21-Oct-15
First visit here , will be back again soon.

06-Jun-15
Looked for about 10-15 minutes but couldn't find it. Thought I'd return home to view all the logbook entries (looking for a hint) since my gps only stores the last 5. Looks like this is a challenging one and may take a lot of perseverance!

13-May-15

13-May-15

Too much of a maze of rubble for B to find today. All part of the fun and challenges on our AroundOz bicycle tour.

15-Nov-14
DNF after good search.
Will come back with plenty of time to search.
Wish me luck
thanks

Finally found after our 4th or so try but only found because it wasn't in place and Geohubby kicked it by accident. We have put it where we thought it might be hiding but not sure so you may want to check it. So happy to finally have a smiley on this one!

01-Oct-14
Friend gave me the challenge but her daughter snatched it up too quickly. Good hide! !!

01-Oct-14
Definitely a needle in a haystack!
3rd time searching and still haven't came up with the goods.
Hoping the GPS is right or we will feel silly searching in the wrong spot, or at least that could be an excuse to have not found it Wink
This one is doing my head in that's for sure!

31-Aug-14
Hard find... Due to clever camo

31-Aug-14
Could not believe it when I found it

24-Aug-14
Don't know if it's still there, but been here a while and could not locate

25-Apr-14
Found by Geo husband. I think rather too quickly considering the surrounds. TFTC

12-Apr-14
out for a drive with tamzy tftc what a great hide

23-Feb-14
First came with my dogs but just on dark and started to rain so returned with an extra pair of eyes, and of course the dogs too. Taking note of previous logs and found the right spot to stand, the other set of eyes spotted it as the sun was setting. Thanks for the very clever hide!

03-Jan-14
I hate bricks. . . Our gpsr is a 2004 garmin gecko, accurate to 5m!!! upon giving up and starting to walk back after a fruitless search 6yr old, eagle eyes geoson spotted the goods. Nice camo. What a spot to hide it in!!! Nothing but a fluke that it was found. Forgot pen so didn't sign log.

31-Dec-13
Staying with a couple of very keen geocaching friends for a few days they could not help but take us out to this one....ummm what can I say A wee little hint on what to stand on I must say did help. Without this clue I would still be there lol.
Thanks for the hunt.

24-Oct-13
Posting old finds from my caching diary. Found it with Tyron51. TFTC

19-Oct-13
This was our second visit to the site. The first time we came it was raining and we spent nearly two hours looking at sticks and bricks. But no luck. After a strong hint, today we had better luck. Casper and Miss Mary were right, if you stand in just the right spot, and repeat the title of the cache, you will spot it. I think rocking helped me too!

Clever camo and a very tricky hide. But why a micro in the bush?

08-Oct-13
OK I positively despise these hides. Hours spent searching for a needle in a haystack but the need to find outweighs the desire to walk away. Having said this - WOOHOO! Found in a couple of minutes. Unbelievable. Still hate them though. Nasty camo in a brick pile. TFTC.

This Cache should be called insane. Miss Mary and I were have never been sure if we loved it or hated it.
We visited sticks & bricks so many times , we have intimate knowledge of each brick & stick that dwells there. This time we took a different approach. I said to Miss Mary Just stand in one spot & meditate on it, which is what we both did.
Miss Mary was on level ground, I a little higher. We were both being very still, then Miss Mary spoke, I Have it she said almost calmly. We signed log & replaced it.
LeochOOks1 I am not sure If I thank you for almost sending both of to the funny farm, with sheer frustration or the fact I cut up on the bricks a $100 pair of new Purnell boots.
But Now there is almost a feeling of loss as we wont have sticks & bricks haunting us.
Thank you so much for the challenge.

09-Jul-13
Spent 1 hour here. Very tricky cache. Will come back to this one.

29-Jun-13
Sitting here mind boggled on our 3rd attempt to find this tricky cache almost defeated when the caching gods (Roma+Max) smiled down upon us! Enlightened we divided and conquered!!!

Thanks to leoch00ks1 for the headache! Big Grin

Have checked on cache. Still in original spot. So keep hunting ! Very Happy

07-Jun-13
4 DNF's. Perhaps time for owner to check up on cache in case it's been muggled?

09-May-13
Our 3rd DNF today.
[red]We spent quite some time here at around 1:50:00 PM, but couldn't locate the cache.
How stupid is this hide, a micro here when a nice kid friendly container would be more appropriate.

Well this is the 3rd visit and still the cache remains hidden. Miss Mary was all over the site like a proverbial Blood hound, and was refusing to give up, but after an hour she had to admit defeat.

Please wont someone put us out of our misery second time back to this one and no wiser , but I will go back Miss Mary Dale wont be happy though.

http://www.geocaching.com/images/icons/icon_smile_angry.gif
This is very difficult I suspect I will making further attempts at this one with the good Mary Dale in tow lol. We are averaging 8 ks a day so we will be very fit

02-Dec-12
Went for a stroll with my dog and thought I would have a look. Found it in 5 minutes. Didnt have a pen though so I will have to walk back and write on it. Clever hide Smile

17-Oct-12
2nd attempt at this one couldnt believe how easy it was when given a a hint from Tamzy, on my first visit i was actually staring at the spot but didnt think anything of it lol when returning with Tamzy who had given me a hint i put my hand straight on the cache immediately and couldnt believe my luck very clever hide so simple yet so tricky TFTC favorite point for this one Smile

16-Oct-12
With the help of MrandMrsF Tamzy and I found this after many many many visits! Very good hide! Very Very annoying hide! Well done! TFTC

16-Oct-12
So glad that I never have to return to this place lol! Finally after the third visit and many hours spent here the container was found, but I must say it was with hints from fellow cachers! Very clever and a very interesting location! Thanks

15-Oct-12
Looked hard, to many hiding placing for one set of eyes, will return with the troop.

11-Oct-12
# 344 - phewf, we finally found it! If we're honest, we'll say we've been looking for this one since Feb... visited the old site and new one many, many times and tonight we finally came up with the goods - thanks to a c.he from Romax! Thanks for a very creative hide, leoch00ks and elite dude, our GPS had us nowhere near it! A favourite from us for sure though!

09-Oct-12
Found again by Roma and Max.
Having been FTF on the original location of this container we decided to investigate its new niche and soon became aware it was going to be equally as difficult to locate second time around.
Once found we recognised that it was the same neat and well camou'ed container that we had handled on our previous visit nearby.
Cheers leoch00ks1 & elitedude,
from Romax.

07-Oct-12
We woke up this morning to a much better day today with the sun shining and we again joined forces with Alansee to see what was in store today. We parked the car and headed off to gz and our hearts sank a little as we saw where the GPSr needle was pointing. We searched for quit awhile with no luck thinking that this maybe a DNF and the Alansee made a comment that changed our search pattern a bit and about five minutes later the well hidden cache was in hand and we were soon adding our name to the log.
Thanks for a very sneaky hide.

07-Oct-12
Found with Team Crackers. We had decided not to do this one in the dark a couple of nights ago and were glad that we did. When we got to GZ we all rolled our eyes but started searching. With no result after a moderate time we started discussing options and after a little longer Mr C came up with the cache at one of those options. And despite a somewhat misleading comment on a previous log!

Great camo but an an interesting place to put it.

29-Sep-12
Suscoe took far too long here on the pile!
It was a very sunny afternoon thank goodness!
We wandered about and tested every possibility.
Even tried a call for local knowledge but no help.
So just as the call was finishing Mr S looked and there was the camo, how did we miss it?
This is a very good task, worth a favourite from us.
Thanks to leoch00ks1.

09-Sep-12
We searched and searched, thinking if it was a camo container it could be anywhere. The other issue was that the gps was wavering so after 30 mins we gave up. Will return another day when we don't have to rush off for roast lamb tea. Thanks leoch00ks1. Interesting spot.

08-Sep-12
what nice camo

27-Aug-12
A little tricky in the dark! But great camo tftc

19-Aug-12
No luck today

11-Aug-12
Spent way too much time at this one and didnt come up with a cache Sad

11-Aug-12
had a good look but no luck for us today

10-Aug-12
Second attempt at this one, was to meet acjgrant a GZ at 5pm, but cheated and got a head start! After looking for about 1/2 an hour, acjgrant showed up and found it within 2 minutes!!!! Our head start didnt help! Great hide, great location and a lot of fun. TFTC Smile

10-Aug-12
Looked for this one for about 30-40 mins yesterday but no luck.
Today's plan was to meets fnlee at gz and conduct an all out assault on gz but on arrival I spotted something that reflected the name of this cache.
Whoo hooo found it.

An old saying plays in your head .. Sticks & Stones ... so perhaps "sticks & bricks - could give you a fix". Well at least that is what you hope! We searched high and low, in and out, to the point where we were sure the prize must have been cast aside by an overzealous cacher. A sideways glance on leaving, Oooooh No! What a clever hide!
We wonder if, given the challenge here, perhaps the Difficulty rating could be a tad higher. Todays satellites had the cache location right on the edge of our primary search zone (GZ 5m ENE) but it still gets a favorites tick from us.

TNLN . . . SL . . Thanks for the hunt leoch00ks1.

Back for a 2nd look with some different cachers with no luck! Will return, determined to find!

13-Jul-12
Wow what a spot very wet due to recent weather conditions, gave it our all but unfortunately did not come up with goods, will to return to hunt another day

12-Jul-12
The search area did not look promising on approach but I concentrated on where my GPS was indicating and sure enough I found your cache which blends in really well here.
Thanks

08-Jul-12
I have searched here on 2 separate occasions, both for well over an hour! Today I had finally declared defeat but kept looking half-heartedly anyway. And then I saw it, the camo design was obvious and in plain site! I was hit by a sudden wave of emotions, frustration that I had missed this for so long and such relief to have found it.
Thanks leoch00ks1 & elitedude, now having found it I can say I really enjoyed the challenge and wish all the best to those that follow after me Smile

07-Jul-12
I have been here twice, both times for over 10 minutes, i know its there i just can't get my hand on it! i will not give up on this one! its a good challenge!! Smile

29-Jun-12
Phew! Had to give up on this one. B1 & B2 spent ages searching all manner of nature and man-made objects, but no luck. We were wet, tired, hungry (well B2 was) and it was getting dark. We had a few not founds today, which lowered our mood for us geo-cache beginners. Practice makes perfect so after more experience caching we might come back and search allowing for more time. It must be fantastic camouflage and cannot wait to discover it. We wonder, like the rest, why there are bricks dumped here? Thanks leoch00ks1 for testing our stamina.

Very cute kids loved it

04-Jun-12
The drizzle has set in by the time I approached the cache, and the GPSr didn't want to play! I arrived at one end of the search area and it said 10 meters to the other end. I walked to the other end and I was still 10 meters out! The GPSr just didn't want to settle here - bounced all over the place. Don't much mind a needle in a haystack, but that was a bit too much of a search area. Another day.
Thanks, Robmc.

18-May-12
This one was like looking for a needle in a haystack, glad I brought my gloves with me. I had given up when I noticed something different out of the corner of my eye. Clever hide. Enjoyed the search, but only because it was a successful one in the end Smile TFTC

15-Apr-12
I nearly turned around and left when I saw what was at GZ. Man, a person could be searching here for hours. But, I resisted the urge to say it was too hard and looked for about 30 minutes before finding the clever hide. My GPSr was a little unsteady and put me about 5 metres away from final.
Thanks leoch00ks1. I wonder how these bricks came to be here. They are a unique design.

08-Apr-12
Took a little while but we finally found it.

08-Apr-12
OH WOW....... didnt think we would ever find it. But eventually it stuck out.

26-Feb-12
Found by Mary & David at 1225. Now the name is clear. A nice section of bushland. Shame about the rubble dumped here though. At least it makes for good camo, and it's not as bad as searching in rocks. Our thanks to leoch00ks1.

25-Feb-12
found it at 4.10pm. When we got to gz we were like Ah Oh! This was going to take a while to find but to our surprise it was found very quickly. Nice cache. SL TFTC

Found at 4.10pm. In 500 years archeologists will be digging up this area with some weird story of how these "artefacts" came to be. I've never seen a cache container like this one before...good one...Very lucky to have found this quickly, It could've been an annoying search. TFTC.

17-Feb-12
Just as I was giving up due to the trust of this gps again. And I noticed something finally.... Yah!!

14-Feb-12
Found beside man eatting stumpy tail lizard

09-Feb-12
We have been saving a few to fill in our calendar and this one was for tonight. I laughed when I saw the search area - Mr Morris groaned. He was the one who found it though. A very neat piece of work. TFTC

08-Feb-12
Yayyyy 3rd attempt and cache was found.i even picked it up this morning but didn't no it. TFTC
Can't wait for the next
Was sooo close to an FTF

08-Feb-12
Found by Roma and Max.
Max had a quick look last night and decided daylight would be a better time to search in these possible surroundings.
However it wasn't entirely a lost cause as he had the pleasure of meeting up with some of the Toonies team.
Came back in this morning with Roma this time, and guess what, she had your well constructed and very cunning container in hand in short time, pretty much where Max's receiver was indicating last night!
This happens quite often with our team!
Thanks leochooks1 for some excellent camo, well put together
Regards,
from Romax.

07-Feb-12
On site within minutes last night and again at first light without any luck
Talk about a needle in a haystack
Will be back
