Attempted this one and noted that a new fence has been erected. It appears the cache has gone missing as this fence appears only a few weeks old.
Mr NZT put the call out for who would like to join him for a walk and potentially some park and grabs afterwards. So, Mr HeMaLuDy contacted him and a plan was formed. Having completed the walk and with the afternoon free we made a plan to pick up some park and grabs. At GZ we quickly figured out that the fence had recently been replaced so no container here. Mr NZT has submitted a maintenance request.
A new fence has been installed and its obvious the cache has disappeared! Will also do a maintenance log for the CO
Very cool to find this as has not been found in a wee while. Original log and stunning view on a beautiful sunny winter afternoon with a waxing moon.
Amazing view! Awesome to see the log was first signed in 2012 and it’s the same log book!
GPS almost bang on but I've checked the other one before find it.
Lovely view especially in the morning hours.
Picked up on my weekend journey.

Nice cleaver little spot. Had to look around for a bit but eventually found it. ️
Thank you so much for bringing us to an awesome view! This is definitely a cache worth visiting... although it was a bit challenging to actually locate thanks to things being a bit over grown. Found after a more concentrated search. TFTC
Taking the scenic route back home with themexikiwi and her mum and we figured we'd try our luck along here.
Couldn't find this one after a decent search so will have to come back some other time and try again.

Nice short drive from home to collect this well hidden cache for the 7 day challenge.
As part of a 7 day challenge went for a short drive to locate this cache. Beautiful views from up there. Thanks
Our travelling a few back roads. Enjoyable day. The view is fanastic up here. Tftc
. On a small road trip with Mcjandals over to the Waikato. Lots of fun and good weather until the end and then it was time for home. Enjoyed some roads off the beaten track as the main ones were very busy. Think the farmers in the area will be glad of some rain. Thanks to all the COs for some great caches TFTC
On a roadie with NZ Flossy. I am logging using the Cachly app template so please excuse generic logging along the way. It’s just my way of keeping track, but I do genuinely thank each and every one of you cache owners for taking the time and energy to place these caches. Many Thanks for bringing me here. Cheers
No joy for my niece and I, we searched all around the hint objects and in the low pokey bushes covering gz. Decided to move on.
We were looking for a spot to pull off and have morning coffee and this cache was ideal. A lovely view out over the Hauraki Plains - a bit hazy but still a good panorama.
+ a marble, - nothing.

With my afternoon largely free I decided to head out of the Auckland urban limit and take a drive in the country. The weather started off fine enough, but I have now encountered a patch of gentle rain. So, while the views from up here were still scenic I couldn't see as far as a sunny day would have allowed. Anyway, I parked up just along from GZ and made the short walk back. Cache was soon found after checking a likely spot of two. Cheers for the cache placement!
Beautiful lookout i bet however today it was too wet & foggy. Will be back on a sunny day to take pictures
1.05pm. On our way to Hamilton on a fantastic sunny day so we took this short detour. Soon found the cache at a place that deserves a favourite point for a great view across the plains to Te Aroha and round to Thames.
Thank you. David and Noeline.

We detoured to get the four Quine Road caches today. This was the last one and took longer than I expected. As it hadn't been found for a while I even wondered if it was still there. Backwards and forwards and a bit further from the post and there it was heavily concealed with a good growth of grass. Thanks for the cache Boges
Took ages to find the natural camo was working well ...very embedded..signed and returned thanks Notes for the cache
Up in Auckland for the weekend with Team bop (myself Philip.Perry and TNXPRO ) collecting a few of the puzzles we have solved. We had an long tiring weekend but still managed to stop for caches on way home.

Has been a long weekend of caching in Auckland and on the way home we still had time to pick up a few.
Thanks for bringing me here.

On the way home from our latest Auckland mission and I appreciated the story behind this cache. A neat little detour and a great view. Spent longer searching then we should have but got there in the end. Cheers Boges, TFTC.
Out enjoying a nice country drive and a few caches on the way. always a great idea thx. another smilie.
I had some time to spare while waiting to meet up with a friend for lunch in Morrinsville so decided to capture the new caches in this area and saved this one until last. The weather was glorious and crisp with views which made it worthwhile to stop and enjoy before heading back to town. Easily spotted and logged. Grabbed the TB as I plan on heading off to do more caches somewhere tomorrow and will help it on its way.
Nice view, thank you!
I just had like 5 min time to search as I have to make my way down to Hobbiton in time. And since my GPS struggles here as well I had to abandon it
Have a great day!

Sveppi and I have an errand to run nearby today... well, nearby enough considering we are coming from beyond Rotorua. We left early-ish and drove slowly, stopping for morning tea/lunch along the way. Took a few of the back roads to Morrinsville, then through here to our destination beyond. Was surprised to see how narrow the road was. Looked like the farmer was working at the woolshed nearby. Parked the car on the grass and it took us quite a while to find the cache. Yes the view is not bad. Sveppi took a couple of pictures of the bulls in the paddock while I signed the log and traded TBs.
On a "collect chicken" mission with fanfan-77, we took a detour up this road to look for the cache (and see the view). Took a bit of looking but finally fanfan-77 spotted it. Nice Jersey bulls in farm opposite. Discovered TB. TFTC
Nice spot to visit this lovely sunny afternoon after completely one of the local hikes. Your totally right - it is a nice view.
Had come down to Huntly for the night for the 18th@18 Christmas event.
On way back to Auckland I was visiting Husband grave at the Waiti Uru pa near Tehuna. Wasn't quite ready to visit so continued on a bit to find this cache and enjoy the views

A quick park and grab while on our way to visit family just down the road. Lovely quiet country roads around here. Picked up a TB, TFTC!
Nice find and swapped tbs

TFTC! A quick park & grab on our way home from camping at Miranda. I see this cache has been quiet for some time so have dropped a TB to encourage another visitor cheers for the hide!
Heading south to Morrinsville with a few stops along the way. It was good to get off the main highway. Much more pleasant along here. TFTC
I was on a mission to pick up a particular cache in the Wairaki area and any others that were nearby as well as the ones on the way to and from.
There a some good views over the Hauraki Plains and to the south from up here.
Cheers for the cache.

To keep our current streak alive I was charged with the job of getting the cache for the day as it was my day off paid employment. I've been looking at this cache for awhile wondering when we would get a chance to pick it up. After Mr 3 threw a lovely tantrum I decided a drive in the country was in order to get a cache and for him to have a small nap and be a much nicer child for the afternoon. I was under time pressure with school pick up and swimming lesson rapidly approaching so was disappointed I made the search take far longer than it should have and probably took the wrong route to GZ as the trip back was much quicker. But the end result of having a cache for the day and a much nicer child for the afternoon were all worth it along with the lovely view. I also placed an ANZAC coin in the cache. TFTC
Found while taking the long way home, after doing a cache maintenance run through the Hauraki Plains. A quick find due to spot-on co-ords. Sadly we chose a bad-weather day so there wasn't much of a view, and Mrs nzk got wet retrieving and replacing the cache, but we'd never been here before and appreciated the placement! TFTC!
Searched the fence line in vain, only to find that we had parked exactly opposite the correct spot. Of course, that was the last spot we looked! Good view today across the plain. Have passed by this cache many times but never taken the time to do the detour until today. TFTC
I was in the general area for work and once that was done with I went to find a few caches. This one wasn't where I thought it might be - thankfully - a quick find and a nice view. TFTC, Biggles.
678 Have travelled past both ends of this road many times and often thought "Whats up there". As Street racing in Paeroa cancelled due to wet conditions so taking the long way home. Geocaching instead. I have the opportunity. Now I know. Good view.
Found on our way back to Hamilton having spent the last week of the school holidays having a great time in Whangamata. Great weather and it’s always hard to leave the beach but we figured we should pack up early and head home before the rest of the holiday return traffic hits the road. Our young teens groaned when I suggested the longer route home via Thames and Turua, instead of Waihi, so that I could pick up a few more caches but then agreed on condition that they chose the music for the drive home: a decision I very quickly regretted! By this point, we'd settled on singing along very loudly and very tunelessly to some 80s rock anthems ... 'another bites the dust' seems very appropriate as our cache haul increases
This one was a bit of a detour from our route onto Morrinsville but it's been on the edge of my closest to home map for ages and it's long overdue that we find it. The road was quiet today so this was another easy pullover stop. Good hint so junior hopped out and did the deed; a nice quick find and home we go! TFTC

I found out that Kauri Rd stops at the Quarry, then got onto the right road to this cache. TFTC.
On our way down to Matamata for Christmas, took a little detour to grab this one and a lovely view of the plains & the Kaimai's, tftc
Found it after some searching. Co ords at little off on my GPS, but there are only so many posts in a fence line.
Tftc! Quick find today, with yodabeach. Weather wasnt particularly pleasant, but even so, the views were nice. Would be spectular on a clear day.
On the road again with Gap (of Fap and Gap). He has a small job to do and we are combining this with a sweeping cache hunt through the northern Waikato.
This is my first stop for the day, though Gap has been here before... He gets around. We climbed above the fog and frost of the countryside below. It was a little warmer up here too. The views would have been exceptional on a clear day, and I can appreciate why this cache was placed. TFTC.

Slieschke and I decided to take a detour back from Hamilton to Auckland to collect some lonely geocaches. Great view from GZ. TFTC
Found with alpenmilch80 on the long way back to Auckland from Hamilton to pick up some lonely caches for a license challenge. A wee search at GZ until alpenmilch80 spotted the obvious. Great views of the Kaimais from here. Thanks!
Another weekend, and another KiwfruitsNZ/Vamber caching adventure.
This time, it was to secure the "50 caches in a day, 1km+ apart" requirement for our Geo Challenge Licence #9. After 12 hours of caching, covering several roads between Auckland and Hamilton, surviving several downpours of rain, and the odd "interesting muggle", am pleased to say that we claimed our 50 caches (plus one more for the daily cache)!!

Today was spent, alongside our caching buddies, KiwifruitsNZ, securing the last of the requirements for our Full Geo-Licence Challenge - find 50 caches in one single day and where each cache found must be at least 1 km from any of the other caches! A daunting target and task, which resulted in a 12 hour day, but it's done! Yay!
#39 of 50, thanks for the cache!

I've travelled this road a few times over the years as the view is so wonderful. Glad there's a cache here to entice others to the views too! As I hunted for it, I was joined by Doris and the other cows. They seemed quite interested in caching - I explained it as best I could, not sure how much sank in though TFTC!

What a great detour, even in this unsettled weather. Found a TB here, haven't seen one for ages! Left a ladybird.
Like so many others I too have passed this road end so many times. Great to get up there for the expansive view. Dropped off a TB [8)]
The views are indeed worth the detour. That's our find for today in the challenge. Thanks
On holidays from Australia so we must hunt down some caches while we are here, a very quick grab on our way south, SL, Took TB left coins, TFTC
Finally had time to pop up and do this one. Great views from up here.
Thanks so much for placing the Geocache in my name.

Over in the Waikato today taking the kids on a caching mission to places where we have not visited before. First time up this road which I would never have visited otherwise. Magic views today over towards the Kaimais and Firth of Thames. TFTC
First time along this road and pleased to find great views from GZ, and a cache of course.
