A long day of driving with the initial target being my final page on the Victorian Country Road Atlas challenge. Once that was ticked off I started heading for home with enough time to stop for selected caches along the way. After a couple of finds further east in Orbost this was the next one I identified that would give me a quick break from the monotony of the long drive. It was a bit more of a diversion off the main road than I had anticipated but a quick find once I got to GZ. My fourth in a total of 20 finds for the day. Took nothing, left nothing, signed log and visited some trackables. Thanks for the cache Nautilus7497.
On my way to cape Conran decided to follow your advice to stay off the hwy. Enjoyed the trip and the cache.
I remembered I needed a cache for today to keep my finders streak going so I dashed out here to find this one. An amazing amount of mosquitoes attacked me while I was wrestling with the lid so this was a particularly fast park-n-grab!
Thanks for find #1653

Our week camping in Dargo has been moved due to the East Gippsland Bushfires. Our thoughts are with all those affected.
Now that leaves us with a day of caching around Stratford.
Nice easy cache this one. TFTC

We are staying in Stratford for a Anniversary weekend away and so we could find The Billy Goats Gruff as the last cache for us for the Ausmer Challenge this morning. Yeehah! After finding that and a few more on the way home from Mitchell River National Park, GMelb who has a virus needed a nap before we headed out again in the arvo for some caches in Stratford. This was the fourth for the arvo. We saw a really beautiful rainbow on the way to GZ but there was no-where to stop to take a photo and by the time we got to GZ it had lost 3/4 of it's colour. Cache was nice easy find. We recovered a bit better

This was the first time I managed to show my parents what this Geocaching lark is about. "But it's in the middle of nowhere!" If only they knew. TFTC
Missed the parking spot for our intended cache so turned off the fwy here to backtrack around. As an added bonus it took is roght past this cache so we felt obliged to stop and make a quick find!
Found on my adventure to the 2019 OzGeoMuster in Wollongong. A few crazy long days of caching working my way through a huge number of towns en route from Geelong to Wollongong and back, a different route each way leading to different caches, different CO’s and different vista’s, all enjoyable. We targeted caches with a number of goals in mind. Jasmer months, D/T loops and LGA’s were high on the agenda, with priority also given to virtuals, large caches and whereigo’s.
Thanks to Nautilus7497 for placing this Regular Traditional cache for us to find. This is find 1361 for BFMC.

Camped at Heyfield after returning from Tasmania. Out for a few caches today. Third for the day, quick find, cache and contents all good, good coordinates. Took nothing, left nothing. TFTC
We're from Arizona, USA, on day 11 of our top-o'-the-bucket-list dream trip through Eastern and Central Australia. Today we're leaving aptly-named Eden on the long (for us, at least) slog to Foster, VIC.
This turned out to be a quick and easy find for us. If you're having trouble looking for this one, you might try using our listed coordinates which are about 10-12 metres off the posted coords. The cows seemed pleased with our presence. Thanks for the cache.

Continuing my journey through Victoria to pick up caches for the Victorian LGA Polygon Challenge & Victoria Country Road Atlas Challenge. Managed to get another 2 maps ticked off and 2 LGA's. TFTC.
I remember going to Bairnsdale years ago this way, but not sure if it was ever quicker. We stopped and got this one today as it showed close by, so another one to the tally.
Thanks for the placement here.

2nd day of our visit for the 2 months to Alexandra event. Found with Shai.Marelle. Sun is coming down, almost bringing our adventure to an end. Never travelled this back road and glad we did today. TFTC
Found by Mary & David, in company with Alansee, at 1230. Heading home from the Bairnsdale Event yesterday. A nice quick find. Might now be time to look for lunch in Srtatford. First weekend of the school holidays, and traffic is very heavy on the highway. Our thanks to Nautilus7497.
Found this cache on a trip from bairnsdale to Melbourne and had a bit of extra time to stop on the way.

Headed up to Lakes Entrance today so decided to take 'the back way'..! Knew there were a few caches along this road so pulled over to the side to look up where the first one was, and wouldn't you know, we had pulled up right beside it. Made quick work of the find, signed the log and off to the next one! TNLN. Thanks Nautilus
On my way to Munro for work, I snuck this way for the cache. No worries finding it, but opening it was another story. Once I did, I screamed. I was rushed by at least four large huntsmen who have taken up residence in the cache as the lid is warped and the cache's inside is now accessible to them. I signed the log, shut it using my pen to push the lid down and kicked the camo back on top. Those spiders will probably be back in there for the next finder, beware.
Not sure about the "Needs Maintenance" attribute, as tho the container is hard to open, and close, the contents were dry and intact. No critters inside.
Good coordinates meant a quick GAFF1 find @ 1330, (after heading on out to find an Archive trig point not far away.)

We left Stratford headed for Lakes Entrance and took the backway. A lovely quiet road with room to pull off with the geovan. Thanks for placing caches along this way. Left TB and took TB. TFTC
The cops were waving everyone down this road today. We found a place to park off the road nearby. Left a TB - Adventurous Koala. Took army man, left caterpillar. TFTC

Travelling to East Gippsland today, I did some caching, and this was one of them. tftc.
Out on Easter Saturday to visit my daughter camping at the blue pools. No muggle husband in sight (left him on the golf course). Managed to grab a few caches, left many as too many muggles around. TFTC
