Hi there Reviewer,
RE: The cache "Home to Roost"
Following up on my "Needs Maintenance" log. It is now well over 28 days old and there has been no reaction from the CO.
Could you please temporarily disable the cache to prevent it from showing up in search lists?
Regards
Ian & Penny

The cache appears to be in need of owner intervention.
I am temporarily disabling it, to give the owner an opportunity to check on the cache, and take whatever action is necessary.
Please respond to this situation in a timely manner (i.e., within 28 days) to prevent the cache from being archived for non-responsiveness.
If you require more time please be sure to post a note (not an email) explaining the situation and how much more time you require.
For ongoing issues please ensure you visit the listing and post a new note every 28 days to keep everyone up to date or the cache will be treated as an abandoned cache and archived without further notice.

Hi there akela0,
RE: Your cache **"Home to Roost"**
We looked for your cache today, but as there's so many DNf's here already we didn't see any point in adding another.
Could you please do a maintenance run - - and perhaps replace (or archive) it.
Regards
Ian & Penny

When with friends. The cache has been taken as I knew where it was. So sad it was a fun one.
After a 10 min. search decided to read previous logs and I think the CO needs to do a check.
Having a caching day in Whyalla while staying in town.
Enjoyed the area and the variety of caches. TFTC.

Still haven't found it, our 2nd visit here today with fresh eyes, still no success.
Another great find while in the area on holiday today.
Thanks for setting up this cache.
Soon had the container found and log signed.

It took a minute or so for our GPS to settle down but when it did, a quick find was made. Then we understood the name of the cache. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks for the cache akela0.
What else to do on a rainy afternoon but go cache hunting. Great cache. Cool container.
Found by Mary & David at 1040. Our last day in the Whyalla area, and we cached around Point Lowly. Multiple hiding possibilities. Loved the container. These trees are a native of India, and have been declared a noxious weed in parts of USA. Our thanks to akela0.
Found it on second attempt! First attempt was at night, too many spiders out haha!
Awesome cache!!! Defs one of our favs amazing how many different styles there are spent AGES looking for this one before, so glad someone replaced it
There used to be a lot of stuff on this block [:o]
Times change and areas like this fall into disuse
There probably used to be a geocache in this area too,
but after soooooo many DNF's including mine now,
I really think this one needs replacing
Ignore "Squash99" finder's log.
They are being a nuisance and logging finds all over the place on the wrong days

No luck for me today, I had a good look but chose to move on after searching 4 locations.
Hopefully it is still there, but it hasn't been found for 3 months.

After a lengthy search we found it on the ground covered in tree branches. Put it back to where we thought it should be and hope it stays there. Tftc
A Great weekend away doing the Googs Track with good friends. Lots of different scenery and a lot of fun
We had a great time seeing some good ranges of different styles of caches now it was time to grab a few caches around the Whyalla area.
Thanks for putting these caches out for us to find akela0

After completing our trek along the Googs Track and back through the Gawler Ranges, it was time to rack up some numbers in the Whyalla area - gee there are a lot of caches around here.
Today our focus was on the August Pipeline series then north east to Point Lowly area finishing a little earlier today at 7:30pm. TFTC.

I came to whyalla with my parents McKee Clan and Purple Gecko, I had a great time finding some great caches and even seen some that I have never seen in adelaide before. It is nice to find some creative caches. TFTC SL sorry about the generic logs.
Spy Gecko Is a team made up of spyjordy and Purple Gecko for the scouts geocaching competition. Thank you for placing caches that assist us during this competition. Tftc sl.

Was asked by local what doing i wxplained that the trees need a trim for the power network. He was happy to let me inspect then write my notes on thus phone. Muggle diversion technique number 325. What we do to get a cache. A Fav for the laugh we had driving away

Enjoy.....
Enjoy.....
This find was part of a two day geocaching adventure to Whyalla and other interesting places. We found a total of 100 caches and this cache was part of our fantastic two days. We climbed sand hills, fought cactus bushes, climbed cliffs, searched hundreds of salt bushes, phoned some friends and met some new ones. Thanks for contributing to our fun! TFTC
Having a trip to Whyalla with Trail06 on our annual post Xmas run.
We started early Tursday and got back late on Friday.
We found the Whyalla caches very testing and we had a lot of dnf's. Not sure if it was the cache vandal or us.
Thanks to all who placed caches.

Found. Never know this club was around here. Paper is full in the container. TFTC
We met yakcm yesterday at the Munyaroo 4wd caching event and she very kindly offered to show us around own today grabbing caches and also learning a bit of the history. For this we were really thank full as our in car navigator had no real idea of the streets of Whyalla and kept leading us dead ends yesterday when we were by ourselves
There would have been heard a lot of fun and laughter being had around here when it was in fall swing and with out this cache we wouldn't have known that anything was here. We did like the theme of the cache hide considering what the area is used for now, if that is still in use. the cache was a quick find and our names have been added to the log.
Thanks akela0 for the cache.

hahaha, found with geodaughter who scaled a tree, looking for birds, but the only live ones about were a pair of extremely amourous Magpies, I guess this is a sign that Spring is on its way, and that means more geocaching. Loved the container very appropriate given the nature of the cache. tftc and you might need to check the log as it is starting to look tattered maybe the Magpies tried to get a bit from the cache too damned horny little buggers.
I used to live down the road or up the hill from here and if memory serves me correct, it was the Whyalla Croque Club on this site.

Found on a drive over to Warramboo (Near Lock) for our Nieces 21st Birthday, so why not do a Few Caches on the Way and stretch our legs may take a while. Liked the Container. Geodad quick find TFTC
Love these sorts of containers - not just your average tin or jar etc. TFTC
P.S. Bit easier to find than the one at Great Wall Mutianyu...
