I am regretfully archiving this cache since there's been no response from nor action by the cache owner within the time frame requested in the last reviewer note.
Hi ishoot
This geocache was brought to my attention as being in need of an owner maintenance visit. The cache owner needs to check on this cache ASAP and either replace it or archive it, after picking up any geo-litter. See the [maintenance section of the Geocache Listing Requirements/Guidelines](http://www.geocaching.com/about/guidelines.aspx#listingmaintenance).
I've added this cache to my watchlist, and I will check back in four weeks to be sure that the maintenance has been done. In the meantime, I have temporarily disabled this listing. When the maintenance is completed, the owner can enable the listing by clicking on the link below the cache name to return it to active status.
Whatever your intentions, please **post a note** here on the cache page (not email) to let us know that you are still active and maintaining the cache. If a month passes without seeing a response, then I'll assume that this listing should be archived.
Please note, that if a cache is archived due to lack of owner maintenance, the cache is unable to be unarchived.
Regards
The Coddiwompler

Messaged CO but no reply: as per my fellow hunters' logs - got the right spot we think with signs that this was once a hiding spot but no cache to be found to us. Am willing to run in a replacement if the CO wishes.
I was out with Bennett24 and Tuolei. After a few tries at the calculation, we figured out the coords for stage 2. We fond a telltale indication that the cache was once there, but now it must be gone. I hope you can fix this one so I can make the find.
After finding the first and calcs confirmed for this one we thought we might be able to clear this one from the map as well. Hopes were dashed when we arrived at GZ; part of the attachment item seem to be there but cache was missing.
Was meeting up with a few other cachers to head out to Piha, so I decided to leave earlier and take pictures of the plaques to calculate the finals of these multis. After parking in the shade I made the calculations and realised that this one was on the opposite side from where I parked and I didn't have the time before the others arrived. So I left this until we returned to our cars and I drove by the final, parking up and walking over. Put my hand straight on the cache and when I pulled out the log sheet my hand was over-run by ants. Nice to get this finally signed off even if it did require me shaking and brushing off ants while doing it.
This evening I had a work meeting at a venue very close to Parrs Park. Also, many years ago, my wife and I used to work and flat in Henderson and we used to come walking here... and so I thought that I would return here and both find a cache while taking a stroll down memory lane on this the first day of spring. So after finding a place to park, I headed off to the plaque. However, as I approached it, I couldn't believe it as there were a group of three muggles with a muggle dog standing right beside it. Out of the whole flippin park they had to be standing there. Anyway, after about ten minutes they moved on and I was able to do the maths quite quickly. So after loading the new coordinates into my phone I was off to GZ. However, once again as I approached GZ there were muggles around including the following two animates: firstly - one little elderly Indian lady who was doing circuits of the park at quite an impressive pace... in a sari and all! That is not something you see every day. Secondly: one muggle duck who decided for some reason to trail me. Go figure? So once I arrived at GZ it was a nice quick find. While the cache was missing it's lid, the log book was nice and dry. And once again, as I was signing the log along came a couple of muggles who were also out exercising, and so my evasive action resulted in me getting a rather wet butt! Anyway, log book signed, cache replaced... all good! So thank you shoot for taking the time to set up this cache. I really appreciate your efforts in doing so. TFTC!
Had to redo the maths as first attempts provided odd answer. Container getting old and rusty. Found after mister e's football game
We found some time today to tackle this multi, while kids were busy playing in the park with their grand parents. after doing the required calculations, we headed to GZ. had to wait a bit for muggles to pass, then it was an easy find. tftc.
This was our first multi cache and we wanted to do one for the Mission GC. This was fun, we stood for a while calculating the necessary co-ords and then found it quite easily. Great cache, didn't have time to do the other multi cache in the area but will be back there tomorrow morning for that.
Attempted this one the other day, got all the required information and sat down to work it out. Got some co-ords but they didn't seem to match up. Then the rain came thundering in so I gaped it. Worked out the actual co-ords at home and went out today to grab it.
It was busy here today on this sunny Sunday morning. Plenty of parking however and we made our way to the plaque and geoboy helped me note the numbers needed. Then we headed back to the car and made the calculations and hoped they were all right. Then we headed off for the walk to gz. A few muggles around doing exercises and walking and we timed it right for a stealthy find, sign and replace. TFTC
Time for geodog to stretch her legs and Grandson to play in nearby playground. Nice simple multi very enjoyable.
Out for a bit of night caching tonight and this was first on the list. I had taken a photo of the plaque and done my legwork earlier in the week on a visit with the kids so the find was quick and easy. TFTC!
Out and about in West Auckland, taking advantage of the sunny weather today, picking up some cache finds to add to the tally. I parked up nice and close to the published coordinates and made my way over to the plaque of interest. Recorded the vital information then hopped back into my car to perform the calculations. I was impressed that my phone app had brackets so I was soon good to go. Entered my calculations into the GPSr, and yes, they look fine. Made my way to the final and soon had the goods in hand. Cheers for the multi-cache placement!
#304 Geodad, Geoboy and Geogirl (Geomum is in Wellington for the weekend) decided to spend this afternoon collecting some of the geocaches near Oratia. Deal with Geokids was to do some caches and end up here at Parrs Park. Fantastic park for the kids, one of the best in Auckland. Anyways, while they where playing I snuck off and did the 2 multis in the park. This one I completed as I was retrieving another cache. Quickly done, nice little way to spend time while kids on playground.

Had the info and headed off to the spot. Surely it was not going to be this easy. Fortunately no muggles nearby so a quick crouch, spot, grab, and run.
Did the calculations in the car and a quick find in the dark with KatMidd. Easy with no one else around. TFTC
As I was doing the other multi in the park it would be silly not to do this one too. My first calculations didn't look right, so I rechecked and just as well I did as I had somehow made a silly error and would have been heading in the opposite direction. With the new numbers entered into my gpsr, I was soon in the right spot and quickly made the find. A nice multi in a park I've never been in before
I keep driving past this cache and finally today I got around to doing it. Took pen and paper and used the calculator on the cellph and checked my co-ords twice before wandering off. Jackpot! Paper dry as, been double bagged.
Mr P and I made short work of the numbers, nice walk to GZ. Hapy last cache of the day.
Did the maths from the warmth of the car then it was a short walk and a straightforward find. TFTC!
Thought I got my figures right and thought after seeing a piece of nylon with nothing attached, that it might have been muggled [?] but I see a logged find yesterday. Back to drawing board and another walk in park with dogs......
Nice sunny afternoon sitting in the car working these 2 multi's out got this one but its now scl out time so will have to wait to retrieve other one tftc Lokky 1 10 June 2015 15:18
Fun morning with the kids at the awesome new Parrs Park playground. We found the cache by accident while looking for other cache! Still figured it out, without realising that we'd already found it. We'll have to come back now and try the other one again! Thanks for the interesting cache.
Was out this way visiting the park with the kids (who had an awesome time!) so quickly took a photo of the plaque and got them to help me work out the co-ords over lunch. Afterwards it was a quick walk for me and scooter for them to collect the cache.
Unfortunately we were unable to sign the log as the lid has been left open so the paper is just mush and a bit mouldy - I have taken photos though and can forward them if needed - loved the camo the cache is attached to!
Thanks for keeping me occupied whilst the kids played.

Found with mum (keylev) now logging under own account.
I had fun in this park especially the skating path. Thanks.

Took a couple of minutes and sat down by the plaque to make sure I got the numbers right first off. Nice couple of multis, TFTC
First set of calculations had me close by a quick re check had me spot on!! Tftc!!
After some time do some calculations we quickly got the coordinates and found the cache not long after.
Found originally as part of rebel98 team, now created own account, re-logging as rustynz
Plan was to spend time in Parrs park, exploring and finding caches. See rebel98 log, one of the first multi's solved, so happy for the find. Thanks again for the hide.

Was a little worried that I might have a problem with the calculation, but I need not worry. Thank you for the hide
Found it eventually even though I had a couple of goes at stuffing up co-ordinates. Got there in the end...note to self...do it slowly...check it..and check it again before rushing off...cheers V.
After our first night in Auckland doing caching before the Mega event, RuruNZ and I decided to do the caches in this park area - we had to go to the Dick Smith shop first as I found that I had forgotten my cable to download new caches to the gps but that was quickly sorted. As was the workings out for this cache.
Found on our MEGA long weekend.
A pleasant morning spent at the park after getting a few supplies we forgot to bring from Christchurch (like cable for GPS!). After sorting out the caches missing from the GPS kiwicampnut and I headed to this park with the aim of filling our maps with smilies. We attempted the other plaque multi first, but the time was not right to make the find.
We certainly had a warm up for Mega walking around and back and forth on the park.
Thanks.

Helped Ric with this multi ! Glad to do this one as used to live in area many years ago !
Did the required maths and luckily got it spot on. Not so lucky at GZ as a heavy shower of rain decided to drop just as I arrived to make the find. TFTMC.
Called into the multi plaque park to grab a couple of multis. Quickly gathered the information. At the final we had to carefully time the retrieval and return of the cache, but had no problems. Thanks.
Attempted this one yesterday but the calculator cut a few numbers off... went home with information in hand and worked it out the long way, Returned today and cache was soon in hand. TFTC
Thought this would be tricky so we were glad we had a close and shaded park. Worked carefully and came up with likely co-ords on first try. Pleasant stroll and easy find. All nice. PINO TFTC
Night time is the perfect time to log a cache here - no muggles!
Quick find after recording the details from the plaque earlier in the day and visited the final on way home from visiting dad not far down the road in Oratia

After finding the other plaque multi cache, it would be rude not to find this one! So sat down next to the plaque, and wrote down the letters on my hand, and as I worked each one out, put the number next to it on my hand.
Coords were then calculated quickly on the phone, and I had a laugh at the final... I had suspected this sneakyness!
Cache was then easily found too - did the whole sunbathing trick... just lie down anywhere, and pretend to be sunbathing, while using a free arm to search for the cache.
Was funny though as I passed this muggle with her dog for like the 4th time in this park... she must have been confused what shenanigans I was doing over there all over the park!!

Another nice quick and straightforward cache on a lovely morning. The puzzle was quickly solved and I walked over to GZ. There was a lone muggle exercising her dog and a few muggles exercising themselves but there was plenty of time between their laps for me to grab the cache, sign the LB and replace without incident.

Decided to get the grandson out of bed a bit earlier this morning and go on a caching raid out Glen Eden way.
While I read the questions the grandson did the maths.
Cheers for the cache.

Found orginally as part of phasevisitor team, now created own account, re-logging as yorkshirekiwi83.
Spent the morning in Parrs Park. Another straight forward calculation and we soon had the final co-ordinates, no problems with the cache either, but we did have to wait for a couple of walkers to pass.
Thanks for the cache!

Thanks for another great multi, answers quickly determined and then we were off to the final. Seems our calculations were ok for once and no problem at GZ. TFTC

Had just enjoyed a potluck dinner with howieclan. Decided to do a couple of caches at their local park before dessert. Plaque easily located, and maths done by one of dean-crew juniors. Had a laugh when realised that GZ is in view of howieclan's house, and they had been very close to final while watching their son play soccer earlier today. Didn't realise this was a premium only until howieclan came to log and couldn't. TFTC
A different plaque and the maths must of been all good as cache was right on calculated GZ. Nice to have a wander about and watch grown men running around a wet soggy field chasing a round ball. Bring on the All Blacks vs Ireland tonight. TFTC
Another short walk around this awesome park and this cache off the list as well. Cool little multi and nice hide as well. Soon after this decided to check up on my injured mate nearby. Great day of caching!

Took the photo of the desired plaque as I know that I have to come back for the other cache here soon. Worked out the coordinates at home now. Will be back to sign the log soon.
Gathered the info, did the calcs and shortly after the cache was in hand, thankfully all the soccer players were on the right fields.

Carrying on our wander through the park, thankfully evilno9 had done all the hard work and he gave me a push in the general direction of where I would find this one. Cache was quickly in hand, and log was signed. TFTC
After grabbing a couple of FTFs (including this one's twin) we thought we better come back to grab this one too. After some interesting maths equations we eventually came up with a final coordinate that was feasible Thanks for the multi(s)
Lost some valuable time looking for another cache up the road so wasn't too surprised to see a familiar 4WD drive past as we made our way to the final. Did at least get to experience my first "Is everything ok here Sir?" as the local cops pulled up while we were doing the calculations but they didn't even want to hear what I was doing before they took off again. Very well attached cache to find at the final as well. TFTC
Saw this new multi pop up, along with a nearby traditional cache, so figured I'd have a better chance of FTF here while others might go for the other. Arrived in the dark park with no one else in sight. Parked close by the plaque, gathered the info, and then went back to the car to process it while a police car did a bit of a circle around the car park and roared off back out of the park. Coordinates quickly calculated for the final and I was off - well, jumped back in the car as I sure wasn't going to walk through this park alone at night! Parked near the final and made a quick find for FTF #1098 TFTC!!!
Aha, evilno9, I thought that was you, and I was just driving back through the park to see if anyone else was also doing the multi! On the way to the trad nearby!
As we were nearby, we decided to grab this one, Nice quick little multi. fairly easy to work out, and made for an easy find at the Final stage.
TFTC.

after hitting a couple of joint FTFs in the area (including this one's evil twin), we (Furbies, Loz47 and myself) looped back to grab this one even though we'd been agonisingly close to the final (without knowing it) about 30 minutes earlier.
Nice easy puzzle with no technology challenges this time !
