Today LB and I decided to take a drive into the country to find some old railway siding, Prime Ministers, Premiers, hopefully find some previous DNFs and maybe a set of keys!oOn our way to the old railway sidings, new caches, we pulled up here, with fingers crossed, to see if we could make the find. The BBB caches always tease me, and most of the time I cant find them! Today was different. LB and I used a number of TOTTs to reach this cache including the dogs bed!! GeoCleo was not impressed!TFTC Tk2Keep smiling ??Lib ladder, bed grabby tool as nd pricks
Out this way with Cheezel to grab a few caches. Found and stamped the log.Another evil hide!
A quick drive by here today TFTC Heres a favourite point because I love cactuses
Found it quickly, retrieved it more slowly and carefully. Luck we had our Totts from the CITOs. They work well
Decided to head out and do some caches with sixpak69, most of which he had already done however I wanted to turn some into smiley faces. We spent a couple hours driving the back roads before we met up with friends in Port Wakefield to do the adventure lab together.
Another Big Bad Brad cache and more scratches to add to the legs and arms. These caches sure are torture. Log signed and cache replaced as found. Last cache for the day, time to get out of the heat.
Thanks for the cache placement Big Bad Brad and thanks for the company sixpak69, KBKL and Littletrer.

Back in Ardrossan for harvest work. Still very little work with all the wet weather that has been around so we decided to head to Clare for a caching run. Sunday all went to plan until about 3pm when the sky got black then the wind picked up and the hail and rain tried to blow us off a hill. Not to mention during the day a pigeon crapped where we'd rather forget [xx(] and Mr Felix got a very large splinter in his arm which took a bit of retrieval.
Monday we woke to the fact that it had continued to rain all night and was now freezing having gone from 22degrees yesterday to 10 this morning. [8] So we decided to tackle a few previously solved puzzles before heading directly back to Ardrossan.
We managed to find your cache on our sojourn.

As always I don’t like these caches, but we detoured past it to try our luck, parked at the posted and saw it from the car, love that. Cache signed and is all good
Today we headed home via an indirect route from the Clare carnival June long weekend event, we stopped by a few caches along the way.
Thanks for the cache

Today headed out solo for a big day of caching around Port Wakefield and a bit of the peninsula for some fishing and then home via Balaklava.
Enjoyed the day out but was knackered when I got home. Some great hides and a lot of manky mint tins.
Got a bit sun burnt. Enjoyed a lovely packed lunch on the peninsula.
All up just over 50 caches found for the day as well as the lab caches In Port Wakefield.
Thanks to all the CO for the hides was a good start to the New Year.
Sadly a dnf for me here. TFTH

????????TFTC This is our second BBB for the day!And yes we are gluttons for punishment! And yes more ??was spilt in the retrieval of this cache. The log was in great condition, we did the usual signing & dating then returned the cache back to its hiding spot.Lets hope theres no more blood spilled as we set off to add more smiley faces to our maps. ????
Mr Felix is working in Bowmans for a few days. After work he headed out to pick up a few caches along the drive back to Balaklava.

Much like Brisal5, this cache has been a nemesis for us as well, first looking for it in 2013 , then making several more visits over the years, all to no avail [B)].
But today, our luck changed ! After searching for a very long time, it still took 10 minutes to retrieve the container.
TNLNSL. Replaced exactly as found .
Happy, Happy, Happy !
Thanks Big Bad Brad.
PS. Our date stamp time warped us a month ahead here , but the log date is correct [:o)].

I was hungry and the plant was angry...or was that me...had a search for about 10 minutes before giving up...the soursobs in amongst the fronds did not help either...

Out for another Wednesday wandering, this time we were heading to Clare with no stopping. Yeah, right. After leaving the Sewer Rats abode we headed toward Pt Wakefield so the team could get another go at a BBB cache. Eventually we got to Clare but with only enough time to find a few caches in the area. We will return.
A nemesis cache for some. I don't recall being here before. Brisal made a VERY quick find today. Cache replaced as found.
Thanks for the cache BBB.

Another Wednesday Wander for the Puzzled Puzzlers. Today's crew was myself, Sushilord, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats. The target for today was to head north toward Clare for some caching up there. But as usual there were a few detours for other caches on the way to be made.

On the road again with a few of the puzzler troupe of small animals. The Starfish, Rat, Fish lover and Adder. Our aim was to attack Clare but as usual, detours were made to pick up a few yet to find caches.
Reading that it had been checked by the owner confirming it was there we once more went for the hunt. This time it was seen by the Starfish within minutes. We are sure it was not that obvious last time we were here.
No blood drawn or screams of pain.
At long last we can get this one off the list of DNF's.
Replaced exactly where we found it so it should be easily seen by future seekers.

Time of a another Wednesday Wander towards Clare. Today's crew of puzzled puzzlers were myself, Blackadders and S.A. Sewer Rats.
Not too many finds for me today but I revisited a few DNFs
that unfortunately remain DNFs.
Back again for the third time since the container was replaced in April. Each time I come the small undergrowth plants have grown enormously. Now they are an impenetrable fortress against intrusion. Yet once again we used tools to lift and look under each plant 10 metres either side of GZ as best we could and nothing revealed itself.
Sorry to say - I think this monster plant has eaten another cache. [:o)]
**Thanks Tk2 for the search anyway. **

Another attempt with the Rat and Starfish. No finds after it was replaced 2 years ago. Definately buried under new growth so needs attention again by the owner.
Yet another Puzzled Puzzlers Wednesday Wander. Today's crew was myself, Blackadders, S.A. Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl. Our target was to wind our way up to Lochiel and try and rectify a few DNF's racked up in the past. As usual things didn't go exactly to plan and there were detours and laughs but we also got some caching done.
Apparently this was replaced in April this year. So we came in June without success probably due to the abundance of sour sobs. Or so we thought. So add another few months and we are back again. The sour sobs have died back and we can see into the belly of the beast. [^] But the beast has had a lot of babies and boy have they grown quickly.
So my three pricks or significant blood theory with all BBB hide came out...and lasted about 90 seconds. [B)][B)] In fact I probably pricked myself about six times in the first two minutes but we persevered. Usually BBB puts it where you may just be able to see some or all of it and the trick is to retrieve it safely. Nope not this one. The beast has swallowed this one as well. Started as GZ using tools to lift every leaf we could we went right almost five metres then back and then left another five metres and back. Repeat. Nada. [:(!] Defeated again. I made notes on my GPSr at the time in case I don't get to log for some time. Strangely, I noted only one word here. It started with Bas and ended in tard! [8)] Nuff said. Although I have nothing to find within 20 kms of here I will be back. [8]

I still got prickles from the BBB in Clare last week so a few more cuts wouldn't have bothered me but damned if i could see the cache.
No machete in the starfishmobile and after two injuries the team called off the hunt. Could be anywhere.
Yet another puzzled puzzler's Tuesday caching expedition. Today's crew of brisal5, Mrs. SA Sewer Rats and Doctor Owl set sail north again to where we were caching DNF's recently. Whilst doing that two weeks ago we rectified three DNF'S but added another three to the list. Although we made a lot of finds I managed to add another four to my DNF list! No matter we had a lot of laughs and I added a few unloved caches to my list along the way. [:o)]
It was only replaced two months ago. How hard can it be! [B)] But I have BBB rules of play. Three pricks or serious blood and time to move on. [B)] I moved on with a DNF. BBB pricks itches for days. [B)]

According to GPS i was standing on it. According to my Geopup I had no right being there. According to the little brown and white goat which jumped out and scared the south out of my north, I really should just pay heed to other DNF but I had to try... then the spikes hit my hand and I left... not worth the injury status after last cactus patch !
We laughed when we got to this one and had already sustained injuries at a previous cache . We decided to leave this one

Away for a weekend of caching with WhiteDog, Shonky, Uni, and Southern Cross
We started around Bowmans and finished the second day at Booleroo Centre.
Ive been here before and before and before. I've even had a flat tyre here.
Well I wont have to come back here now that I've finally found it.
I just caught a glimpse of some yellow where the paint has worn away.
No more nightmares.

On a cache hunt with Mr Froghoppin.
We searched and searched, and despite the scene of devastation from previous plant slashers we couldn't find anything looking vaguely like a cache.
A bit concerned for the environmental impact here - people have clearly been hacking at the plants by the roadside - big prickly leaves everywhere - and the plants are trying their hardest to grow and take over the world too. They probably ate the cache.
Took nothing. Left blood and dna.
Thanks for the challenge Tk2
will place on the watch list and return asap!

When I got out of the car I heard a loud hissing. Not a snake but air escaping from a tyre. A tech screww will do that.
Quickly changed the tyre and then had a cursory look before heading off.

We went as far north as Port Wakefield and then returned via dirt road after dirt road so that I could get some of those caches that no one else ever wants to stop for

After a notification from the watchlist that maintenance has been performed and confirmation the cache is present, called past today on a small detour as we headed north, the squashed weeds at GZ from the weekends mtce narrowed down GZ to two meters and a long handled shovel at our disposal managed to retrieve the ellusive cache once and for all, this was our third attempt TFTC
Since its been 12 months since the last find and this stuff is pretty thick i reckon a confirmation that the cache is still here is needed.
Found as a part of TheKellyGang, writing this as a genaric log as I was a part of TheKellyGang and am now out on my own.

First find of the day as we headed for the nearby event. Got out the car started sticking the gloves on got my extended arm thing out then walked to the search area and there it was straight in front of me so didn't even need the gloves or anything if only they all jumped out at me that easily would have saved a few pricks along the way.
First cache of the day on the way to the Second Breakfast Event in Balaklava... Went out this evening to finish the 60 series,Thought we would drive over to find this one a nice easy find,But a bit sour. Didnot need the tongs or a hint from the owner. TFTC
We got well pricked trying to find this one, and finally managed it. Not sure we are very thankful for the prickles. We're close to giving up when it was spotted.
Thought "oh no" as we saw what the cache was in..... but had it quickly on a run with mogni and deenifty. Thanks TK2 for the hide.
