Out trying to find a few geocaches before I lose my loaner car.Did the first couple of stages, and then made it to the final. TFTC. Are the drop bears riding horses now? Thats a terrifying thought.
Muggle65 and l had a few hours to do some city caching. We struggled to figure out where to park at times but we found some great caches. Thank you for the fun
Sometimes it feels we have been here before, but when you chase stuff, there is some big zag required & some awkward parking locations.
The Leap Day Mega was a great excuse to come down from Queensland and weve had a busy time exploring Adelaide and surrounds cache by cache. Meeting up with friends old and new, we sometimes cached with them and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Although I have been to Adelaide before, this trip has shown me so many new and interesting places as Ive chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites. Thanks to all COs for placing and maintaining these caches for everyone to enjoy.
Veni, Vidi, ViciHaving finally unlocked premium, its time to catch up on logs. Visiting Adelaide with the Gcrew (BFMC, Bushfire, Dromaniax, Jtreetrack2, Neville_Devil, Quickhealer2 and SimsFamily) for a mega adventure. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their caches, we had a very busy, but very enjoyable couple of days in Adelaide and surrounds targeting a D/T loop in a day and whatever other caches took our fancy. No rest for the wicked on this trip.
A couple of days off work so we can visit the City of Churches for the Great Leap Forward MEGA. The G-Crew met up at Adelaide Airport and all piled in to the Hyundai Staria Im pretty sure Staria means not that comfortable and be prepared to slide around in your seat. The G-Crew (BFMC, Bushfire, Dromaniax, JTreeTrack2, Neville_devil, Quickhealer2 and Sims-family) have prepared for months and are ready to go. Puzzles have been solved, target caches listed, spare caches ready we are to get a Leap Day fizzy grid in SA. 7 Cachers checkToTTs checkCold drinks checkEnough time hopefully. All logs were signed or stamped with the G-Crew name to save time and space in the logs.Thank you all the CO's for the contributions and ongoing maintenance. We had a very tiring caching party. Sorry for the generic log but with 100+ logs to write I'll never catch up if I don't, my logs have been at 8 months unloved so have had plenty to catch up on.
I took my first ever trip on a plane to Adelaide to cache with G-Crew (BFMC, Bushfire, Dromaniax, Jtreetrack2, Quickhealer2 and SimsFamily) for a mega leap day adventure. After months of planning and puzzle solving we hired a minivan and set off on a mission to find as many caches as we could on our leap day adventure with the main goal of completing a Dt loop in a day. We started off by working our way down to Victor Harbour via the coast, then worked our way back to Adelaide via the inland route chasing different types, sizes, JASMER's, unusal D/T's, earthcaches, virtuals and more. Thanks to all the CO's who have placed and maintained all of the caches we found on this trip, I had a great time.
In Adelaide from WA (Boys Trip!) for the mega The Great Leap Forward Here with AlliedOz, Granett, Kyzabra and The Fitzys. Were out and about for the different events also finding a few caches around town along the way. Thanks to all for organizing the mega and to the cache owners for sending us on all the different adventures, with many laughs along the way thanks Boys ????
Popped over for The Great Leap Foward MEGA event with a few fellow cachers from Perth. Were getting out and about while were here grabbing a few finds in between all the events. Im travelling with KYZABRA, Alliedoz, Granett and ROKADZ (all from WA) to see how much fun we can make caching over the next couple days. Thanks very much for the hides ands showing us a bit of Adelaide.
Found in our group of six Queenslanders unsupervised in Radelaide mega'ing. It's Leap Day which is a lot more exciting than Christmas! And we are finding a whole variety of caches today. All logs signed or stamped as SQUIRM. Thanks for the cache Freddo
Happy Leap Day 2024??The SQUIRM team has travelled from Brisbane for the MEGA. We are here for a week and a bit of Fun, Fringe and caching.I got to have a sleep-in today instead of getting up at the usual 5.15amn????.Now we are all back in Stacey's Mum and ready for a day of caching. Look out Adelaide ??
The day has finally come, its Leap Day!! Team SQUIRM are running around town in Staceys mom playing Leap Day Bingo trying to get as much as we can on our lists. Tftc FreddoFind #5679
Leap DayThis is the reason SQUIRM are in Adelaide Today is all about types, sizes, the odd D/T and anything else we step over (read detour 30 minutes to) when someone says theres a . just around the corner oh yeah, and The Great Leap Forward Mega and Side EventWe needed this cache for our game of Leap Day BingoThanks Freddo ??
I managed to time a work trip in SA with the leap day mega. Winner winner. A few convos later and AlliedOz, Granett, TheFitzys and Rodkaz were also up for the trip. What was going to be two days of caching turned into a single day (thanks qantas for the flight cancelling). So we put a plan together to grab as many variations of caches we could being a leap day. Many thanks to Freddo for placing and maintaining Beware Drop Bears!!. I was here at 10:26am on Thursday and this is my find 11192.
The drop bear is a predatory animal which drops from a tree onto its prey. As a result the species has developed well padded backsides to cope with the drop. It lives in XXXX, although many doubt they exist at all. Rincewind was pretty sure he was attacked by them. The drop-bear, or at least one of them, learnt a fairly important evolutionary lesson: never drop bottom-first onto any target, however tempting, which is wearing a sturdy and rigid pointy hat on its head. Whether it is capable of having any descendants to pass this lesson on to is a different story.
What an amazing adventure through Adelaide. This was my first time to Adelaide and we had a very long day driving and grabbing as many caches as possible. Our very lofty goal, completing a full D/t Matrix on a leap day.Apologies for the generic log, but with so many caches we got today, we didnt have much time to log them as we grabbed them.We had no issues with any containers or hides, and all were in good condition, and well maintained.I was part of G-Crew as we tackled our list, we hired a seven seater van and drove all around Adelaide. The members of our hunt were Dromaniax, BFMC, and JTreeTrack2 who did their fair share of driving and route planning, Sims_family who was on recon and puzzle solving, Neville_devil our fearless high altitude cacher, and myself Quickhealer2.We have been planning this adventure for about 10 weeks, puzzle solving, route planning, and it all came down to the big day and we did so much.I was very lucky to be invited into G-Crew, and with all of our skills and strengths we got our task doneEach log was signed or stamped G-Crew, and I thank all the CO's for maintaining their caches through the chaos of this Mega eventthanks again for the adventureQuickhealer2
Over from WA with AlliedOz, Kyzabra, rokadz and The Fitzys for a whirlwind couple of days based around The Great Leap Forward Mega event, [(GCA1DNA)](https://coord.info/GCA1DNA). Finished up with a heap of new smilies in as yet uncharted territory for me. Out and about on the big day trying to collect the 11 available icons. And happy to say we were successful, icon number 7.Parked up 150 odd meters from this one and Kyzabra reached in to make the grab.Freddo I found your cache at 10:25am, this was the 38th of 108 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 8533. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.SLTFTC
According to Google I have lived for 22 leap years + but how many more we do not know but the SA Leap Forward Mega has been and gone and what a great event. Our very lofty goal, completing a full D/T Matrix on a leap day. The G-Crew (BFMC, Bushfire, Dromaniax, JTreeTrack2, Neville_Devil, Quickhealer2 and Sims-family) have descended on Adelaide with some seriously caching goals as our sole objective, to be achieved at the expense of almost everything else (including sleep). We have to say a great big thanks to all the cache owners for looking after these caches for us to find. The hire cars had a big work out with all the gear and TOOLS that we thought we may require. We have decided to target as many of Project-GCs Leap Day badge extensions as possible, with the primary objective of completing a fizzy grid in a day.One of my first Megas was in SA in I think 2014 ( Murray Bridge) but as there, just so many caches of most D/T combos it made sense to target this Mega. We had a list of solved caches that gave a great starting point for our assault but distance was also a problem but I think we made our objective irrespective a great time was had even if we do not make our objective. Thanks to Freddo for placing this cache and keeping it on the playing field.
Hi Freddo, We found your 2.5 4.0 Small Wherigo Beware Drop Bears!! on 29/2/2024.Find 2752 for BFMC.This cache completed my second D/T loop, which then also then qualified me for a challenge cache I signed about 5 years ago!The G-Crew have descended on Adelaide with some seriously lofty caching goals as our sole objective, to be achieved at the expense of almost everything else (including sleep). With a minivan loaded with Cachers & TOTTs hopefully time is the only thing that stands in our wayWith 2024 presenting us with a leap day, we have decided to target as many of project-gcs Leap Day badge extensions as possible, with the primary objective of completing a fizzy grid in a day. SA became the logical choice due to the Mega event and the fertile, largely uncached grounds it provides for our team. Many months of planning and puzzle solving (from the simple to downright diabolical) have gone into this trip. Our selected matrix has evolved over time to account for other ongoing objectives. Fortunately, I had a reasonable list of solved but unfound puzzles from my last trip to the Tour Down Under a few years ago but the many, many hours, and many more group chat messages since we started planning this in 2023 have brought us to this point. All physical caches were either stamped or signed as G-CREW to save both time and log space. Thanks to all the COs who have placed and maintained these caches!

Well the big day is here, we are finally in Adelaide after weeks of planning . The G-Crew (BFMC, Bushfire, Dromaniax, JTreeTrack2, Neville_devil, Quickhealer2 and Sims-family) has some pretty intense goals that requires a very long day and no sleep to achieve. The last few weeks the message group has been awash with many many messages as we worked though all the puzzles in order to achieve our main goal of a full D/T loop in a day.We loaded the Hyundai Staria (Was meant to be a KIA Carnival, Not an upgrade ) with all the ToTTs we though or hoped we would need in order to achieve our goals. All logs were signed or stamped with the G-Crew name to safe time and space in the logs.Thank you all the CO's for the contributions and ongoing maintenance. We had a blast and sorry for the generic log but with so many logs to write I'll never catch up if I don't.
11:14 Well, that was something!! I came here yesterday and got the biggest scare on my trip so far when I looked IN THERE!!At first I thought - what a cool cache camo! Then I looked again and got another scare - it blinked! So, it wasn't exactly a DNF, but more like DNA because dropbear is aitting on the cache. So I came back today, dropbear is gone, phew. I stuck my arm in elbow deep - can't reach it!!! Also, my arm was already getting stuck. Scraped some skin off as I was pulling out!And only then I realized - there's a lower opening! Doh!IN - [Rebel Coin](https://coord.info/TB7QWJ3)Kia ora! Paldies! Thanks for the cache, Freddo the Frog!#10329
A plan was put together after I casually mentioned the SA Leaping Mega at one of our camping events in the wheat belt in WA last year, fast forward to the end of February 2024 and we are here for a whirlwind visit, in late out early (mostly thanks to a flight change robbing us of 9 hours here) for some quality caching and meet ups in our limited windows. Out today with Kyzabra, Granett, Rokadz and The Fitzys... all in town from WA. A beautiful day to be out collecting smiles with some solid plans on what and where, but as always the best laid plans... _______________This cache made the tight list and after some work the cache was in hand. ________________Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache Freddo the Frog you help make the game what it is today, loved that we could make it a find on our Leaping Mega adventure, cheers AlliedOz
Using the CBD as a base to follow the Tour Down Under. Gives us a chance to find a few more caches in the city. Its a tight fit but I dove straight in.Favourite point addedFreddo, I found Beware Drop Bears!! today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
After the CITO at Unley and the breakfast event at Frewville I had some time to kill before my next commitment so I went out for some caching near Frewville, Glenside and in the Adelaide CBD.
A total of 9 finds and 2 DNF's for the day for this pineapple, as well as the two events.
I have had this one sitting on my map for a while and since it was a Sunday I thought I'd try since I could get a parking spot.
I had discussed the terrain with the CO at the event earlier and thought I could handle the requirements.
I was warned about a creature living in the hiding spot. However, it seems to have moved out or is on holidays.
I could see the cache way down in there and stuck my hand in. I started to pull it out and lost my grip on it, I then got my hand stuck in the tree.
Eventually a lot of pulling and tugging I got free and was able to try again.
On my second attempt I got stuck AGAIN.
Thankfully it was third time lucky and I got the cache out with no issues and signed the log.
The cache and contents are in good order.
Thanks Freddo for this wherigo cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3368 on the 6th of August 2023.
CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it!
Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!
**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**

Time on my hands after this morning’s central breakfast event, so I thought I’d do the wherigo part of this one, and maybe return later with an appropriate TOTT.
The wherigo worked just fine, to my surprise I could actually access the cache without any sophisticated hardware props. Has it crept?
I’ve had numerous close encounters with the Drop Bears’ benign/cute/slow moving cousin, the koala, but despite living in a high risk zone in the Adelaide Hills, I’m yet to have a brush with a Drop Bear, touch wood.
Thanks for the wherigo Freddo.

There was a lit more than just bears dropping today. If I wanted this weather I could have stayed home or gone to Melbourne. Nothing that dropped hurt us so that's a plus!
Not found where we expected but in the vicinity.
Thanks Freddo
We arranged to catch up with Tassie Trekkers, who have been over here for a while, to do some caching around Adelaide and surrounds. The weather was typically Tasmanian, four seasons in one day with some flash flooding thrown in! Today was meant to be our day on the water but after meeting the owner and testing the conditions, we had to make a whole new plan for the day.
It’s become a tradition to fly to a Mega via somewhere else so Stainless steel rat, budgietas and I flew from Hobart to Adelaide a week before the big event and, after a few days around the city, worked our way up along the Murray (where we could due to flooding) via Waikerie, Mildura, Swan Reach and Echuca before heading down through Shepparton to Whittlesea where we caught up, and cached with, a few other teams including Whitewebbs, 1toolman and icybeetas.

Today we teamed up with gooseandegg, stainless-steel-rat and Budgietas to do some caches around Adelaide of different types and this was one of them.
Thanks Freddo for the Wherigo, we signed the logs as Team Tasmania, cache and contents were good.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment.

Found this cache while out caching with Tassie trekkers. Goosenegg and stainless steel rat.
A day around Adelaide, after the day on the water was canceled
Thank you for the cache.
All caches stamped with "Team Tassie"
November 2022 was planned as a trip to the Mega in Melbourne, so we flew from Hobart to Adelaide to find quite a few caches that we had missed last time. Some great caches were found, but the planned boat trip was canceled due to the weather. No matter the showers we found quite a few caches on the trip (Around 600) including a number with high Terrian values.
The drive-through down the Murray river on the NSW / Victoria border showed the impacts of the current floods. A number of caches planned were canceled due to the flooding. Unfortunately, many of these caches will have been lost to the flood. The Mega, as per the whole week, was on and off a wet time, even so a number of caches were still found with Goosenegg, Stainless Steel Rat, Whitewebbs and Tassie Trekkers

We traveled for few days and collected some different stand out caches that we had picked out for this visit, thanks!
Another year, another Victorian Mega, so where do we fly into, Adelaide like you do, after a few days in the city we ventured out into the wilds of SA before heading Northeast towards the border (You remember the name of the town, don't you?) before crossing over we teamed up with Tassie Trekkers and we all finished off the OYB series.
Our attempts at a few caches as we moved South that were near rivers were as half expected we were thwarted by floods so we didn't get to those but added the odd on in here and there.
At long last we arrived in Whittlesea for the Mega late in the evening of Friday 11th and after a quick event headed to our accommodation for the next few days. While in the area we explored the area finding caches all over the place and we even got to meet up with our Victorian ex Tassie cacher 1Toolman who traveled up from down South to join us for the day
Thanks for the cache.

Spent a week in Adelaide. Thanks to all the Cache Owners for their contributions to this recreational activity.
An interesting Wherigo experience. Enjoyed watching some locals making use of the nearby sporting facilities. An interesting game that I would like to try some time. I located the cache slightly lower than I was expecting. A nice surprise nonetheless. TFTC

I spent ages risking life and limb climbing in this drop bear hideout and was about to finally call it quits believing the bear was out for the day when I eventually spotted the cache in a didn't quite match my expectations, but left my mark in the logbook.
Thanks Freddo

Day three of my trip to Adelaide, walking around South Adelaide. After the event (rain) ttrogg had offered to take me to see a few of his favourite places and my wish list
Had problems with finding this one solved the wherigo earlier but I had to walk under trees, forgot my Vegemite was confiscated at Adelaide Airport (bringing contraband into SA) tried arguing that it was lotion to stop my ears getting burnt but they wouldn't let me through with it. Forgot to get some more from the local dispenser. Without that had to trap the drop bear fast. Unluckily diabetes makes sure that urine isn't too hard to generate but rather than repelling drop bears the pre-sweetened version definitely attracts Sydney Drop Bears, don't know how it applies to the Adelaide families, didn't want to find out.
I have also found that they don't like seeing their reflection in glasses and try to fight the intruder getting to the eyeball meat first. Damn forgot my goggles
With cache in hand we signed the log and replaced as found. Both the cache and log are in good condition. Thanks for bringing me to the area and thanks for replacing the cache Freddo The Frog

Wow what a great weekend I just had; a very nice weekend trip to Adelaide with the family and I got to meet a few cachers as well. Absolutely enjoyed Adelaide, the walk around town, the people, the laid-back environment, the layout of the area, the friendly cachers and the great caches too.
Day two of my trip and I was allowed to go out on my own for the day and cache away. I set myself a list and I wondered around down towards rundle mall, grabbing adventure labs, earth caches and anything along the way. Some nice hides and some fun ones. Some strange looks from passes by at points but no one stopped me at all. Adelaide is definitely a place I want to come back and visit again.
I got a call from James who asked how I was going and if I would like some company for the day. Why not, and with a drive around town we got in some caches that he also needed for the day. We went up to North Adelaide and the skirted around the parklands of Adelaide. I then was dropped off so as I could make my dinner appointment with the family. Thanks for the great afternoon James.
This was our next cache. While being very careful we wondered around before the final spot. With the log signed and cache replaced as found, we were then off to grab another in the area. Thanks for placing it here and the continuing maintenance.

I took a nice walk through leafy Rose Park and the parklands in the glorious sunshine. All caches found without too many troubles.
I completed the Where I Go duties amongst the frisbee golfers and the final coordinates revealed themselves.
At GZ I found the cache a little lower that I was expecting. But a good find nonetheless.
Thanks for the cache Freddo the Frog.

Happily navigated the wherigo and arrived at GZ. Looked up to the height of the terrain rating and saw nothing of interest. Shined a spotlight down the hole and found two caches, no drop bear. Signed both logs and returned them. I feel like I cheated this D/T rating, given how hard Damn Stupid was this morning. But I will take it, many thanks for this one
Sadly fake news is everywhere. The following article is just such a terrible waste of pixels. If you are not wearing vegemite behind the ears you are in danger in the Australian bush.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-01-13/uk-journalist-pranked-into-holding-a-drop-bear-during-bushfires/11863942
Visited the final location to remove second cache. Drop bear cousin in residence. He owns the location. Difficulty raised to match the claws on cousin.

Had planned to head to the eastern/inner southern suburbs to grab a few solved but unfound mystery caches...however ended up getting a few multi, traditionals and Wheerigo caches as well. Collected this one on the way home. The possum that was in residence last time was nowhere to be seen so reached in and pulled out two caches. Signed both and returned to hide. Although I do like caches in the parklands, I do feel conflicted when they are palced in hoolws used for refuge or nesting. Took the birds, birds, birds TB. TFTC
Worked through the cartridge to get the final coordinates. Took the short walk to GZ. A brief inspection revealed the most likely hiding spot. However before plunging my hand into the home I erred on the side of caution and undertook a visual inspection. A dropbear wasn't in residence but a sleeping possum was. I know drop bears can cause serious damage, but I also know the damage a possum can inflict on unprotected flesh. I'll be back another day. TFTC.
Some friends from Melbourne had told us about the dangers of Drop Bears so this cache appealed to us

Headed to the city to find a few caches, with hevwalker, before heading to the Adventure Rooms... we had great success there too, helps to have a cachers mind
That app played nicely today and I had success at every stage.
GZ located, hevwalker retrieved the cache, acquiring bonus scratches
Log stamped 3LG... prior to name change

On a geo road trip from Brisbane to the Mega near Canberra and took a little detour through South Australia and Victoria to snaffle some of their caches along the way.
I liked the name of this one so I wanted to try it. At first the app decided it would be uncooperative as it has been in the past. It's strangely one of the few times I ever see a 0 metres to GZ on this wretched device but the question doesn't pop up- it just keeps beeping madly. I worry one day that someone will call the bomb squad when its doing that, so today I switched it off and reloaded it and tried again.... and again... and again... and... well it was getting tedious so I adjourned to the nearby facilities to unload one problem. The device must have needed to unload something too, as when I'd finished I decided on one more try. The first go was a repeat of previous tries but when I reloaded it A-GAIN! it took off at supersonic speed and before I could blink, the finals were on the screen!
I've seen a drop bear at close quarters on this trip and it was BIG and SCARY!, so keeping a wary eye out for a surprise attack from above, I made my way to GZ and got my sweaty paws on the prize. Still on the lookout for drop bears and muggles, I returned it to its hide before scooting back to the car. One thing to fear almost as much as a drop bear is a parking inspector and I could see one hovering like a vulture nearby so I vamoosed before it savaged both me and my wallet.
Keeping the vegemite all to myself so will leave a favourite point to appease the dropbear, even though the app was a bit of a grizzly mongrel!

Out for a lunchtime caching expedition on the pushbike from the CBD.
Downloaded the cartridge and went for a walk from the listed coords bear-ing towards the cache, after a few hops I arrived at a likely spot, but the cupboard was bear.
Looked around a bit further and climbed a few nearby trees with my bear hands, just to be sure I was in the correct spot.
Not being able to bear it any longer I phoned the CO who confirmed I was in the correct location - the cache was indeed missing.

Out and about on a road trip to Adelaide, I was particularly targeting Wherigo and letterbox caches but there are a lot of other interesting caches to be found, this being one of them.

Team SWAGJJ is visiting the Yorke Peninsula this week to complete the geo art and collect traditionals, multis and other types along the way back to Adelaide as well. Last few days we explored and found a variety of caches around Adelaide. Seeing some amazing country side and views as well. Thanks to all the COs for placing these caches.
Day 5 of our trip - travelling back from the Yorke Peninsula through to Adelaide. Our targets for the day included more T.O.Y. caches, a virtual, a letterbox trail, and a bit more geoart. Also a few caches with some interesting D/Ts for their type. Finished the night with some wherigos... A great day was had by all. Caches logged under the "SWAG-JJ" group monkier. TFTC!
I had to get wherigo caches as I have run out of all of them anywhere near I live. So night time wherigo it was... Maybe not the best idea but we completed it! Lots of scratching around to locate the container.

A day out to learn how to do wherigos, only got this thanks to a friend but its still a day out and teaching these oldies a new thing. Tftc
Having brought a patient to Adelaide air ambulance last night we had the day off today.
Of course, I got up early despite my body telling me to catch some more sleep...
I enjoyed a great early morning walk through Adelaide and found a few caches along the way.
I tried to find this one just based on the photos but had no success. As apparently a ladder is needed I would have had problems retrieving the cache anyway...
Thanks anyway says ***kinderarzt*** from Germany!

We did the drop bears night cache last night, so having defeated the dreaded drop bears at night then, I thought this cache next just seemed to be fitting. Arrived at the location and just narrowly outran one little ferocious thing. Wandered down the hill to discover the cache it had been hiding. At first I couldn’t find it, so checked out the attributes and then climbed. Looked around up there, nothing. Climbed a little more. Thought I may have the wrong tree as the coordinates were bouncing. After taking a step back to confirm where I needed to look, I investigated deeper my original position and found the cache. Grabbed the Darth Vader TB to keep it moving, thanks. First Wherigo in Australia actually!
When I first arrived in Australia I was warned to be aware of drop bears. Never seen one, though have heard plenty on overnight camps in the bush. I didn't see any on my walk, but I moved stealthily through the trees. Left Darth Vader minding the cache... Not just drop bears to worry about now... TFTC
Seriously?
A D1.5 cache that involves walking under dropbear trees?
What were you thinking?
As my PM to you pointed out this one cost me DNA.
I expect that from the Z-man but really?
I guess I’m going to have to find more wherigos to do but not under trees!
Photo of empty dropbear trap included. Who are they kidding?

Nice straightforward wherigo. Wondered initially if we could do it as when we got near there were men putting up fencing for the race next week, but luckily it was ok. Out caching with Will of the Wisp whilst travelling around the world in 80 days to celebrate retirement. TFTC.
Out in the city today I decided I’d have a go at this, very easy to do and final co ords are good! TFTC
My preparation with Vegemite and wee was all for nought as the Drop Bear relocation process is currently occurring in preparation for the great race. The city has done an excellent job as not a Drop Bear to be found. TFTC
Wow, two Wherigo caches in two days - that is a record for me! Nice simple one this. Thanks again Freddo. Left a path tag.
After finding a few different caches earlier in the day then heading to an event in the evening, I realised it might be possible to find nine cache types today. So I sought out a wherigo that could be completed fairly easily in the dark and wasn't too far away. This one fitted the bill.
Unfortunately I didn't have a torch (other than the phone) but it was easy enough to get around, using the phone light only at the end to locate the container. A nice simple wherigo that worked perfectly on the iphone app and made up my eighth cache type for the day.
Thanks Freddo the Frog for the cache.

Completed the wherigo and arrived at GZ. Looked up, down and around the final spot a number of times. Stuck my hand in some holes against my better judgement but came up empty handed. With the light dying I decided to call it. Hope it is still there as it has been a few months since last find.

We had fun with caching few weeks here in Australia ( South Australia and Northern Territory ). Lots of geocaches and many sort of them too. We saw awesome places, weather was good all the time and people were friendly and polite. Caches were pretty similar like in our home country. Of course there were some exeptions. Nice and huge country!

Team ICE on a two week geocaching trip in Australia. Our main target was the Red Centre Experience at Alice Springs but of course we did some caching in other places too. We drove from Adelaide to Alice Springs and then back. We saw lots of interesting and beutiful places like opal mines at Coober Pedy, Ayers Rock and Kata Tjuta. Our rental travelled almost 6500km on gravel and tarmac roads. The weather was great, only on last day we got some rain.
All the caches logged as Team Ice, T-ice or Tice with kapeka, laalaa and Hiltsu. We had a great trip!
Today we headed from Adelaide to Murray Bridge. In the morning we found some caches from Adelaide area and then few monthly trails and some other caches on the way.

Last day at Clipsal and yet another early morning start. I had gathered some information on previous days on my way in and decided to make the find today, Armed with the final co-ords - it was only a short walk from the track. So before signing on for the day, I detoured here and found the likely spot. A little reach up and I felt the soft and fuzzy bear. My third WIG this week too. TFTC Freddo

found while out and about with rod81w. My first wherigo in SA. After a short walk around in circles we ended up at gz. After looking every where we relooked where we looked at the start and found a drop bear that has been munched on a little by the local rats.
I couldn't leave town without finding a wherigo with my non compliant GPS.
Luckily I was with someone with good technology and what a hide. Drop Bears do exist, don't let anyone tell you they don't.

We are in South Australia for a one week holiday at the Lady Bay Resort at the golf club near Normanville.
Day 2 - a quick trip up to Adelaide for the red Centre Experience BBQ Event and then a few caches to complete the day before returning to our unit.
I live Wherigos so added this one to our *Must Do In Adelaide* list. Glad we did, as it gave us yet another perspective on doing wherigo cartridges. Loved the final., although he could do with a bath. Sadly he has lost his bad attitude (as per the cartridge photos) and is really almost cuddly!
We did see a large flock of white sulphur crested galahs, but when I took the photo only a few were still on the ground crunching away at the pine cones.
Log signed & replaced again. Found at 4.20pm on 26th November, 2016. TFTC
