Apologies that I couldn't attend - illness got in the way.
Very supportive of this type of event though and I hope more are organised in the future - I'm sure they'd be very appreciated by many.

Why am I sooo blind? The hints, some subtle, some sledge hammers, were flying thick and fast, and sometimes the sledge hammer didn't make a dent.
Anyway, I came away with enough info to keep me going for a while on the puzzles discussed, and to get me trying some other puzzles where there is a very small glimmer of light far down the tunnel.
Thanks hgl for the organisation, looking forward to the next event.

An early morning start for the intrepid puzzle-solvers, reverberating to the sound of dropping pennies. Thanks for the great company, and the flurry of subtle and not-so-subtle hints on some problem caches. Thanks, also to hgl... very much looking forward to the next event!
Found a car park. That must be the difficulty 1.5 part of the cache. A very pleasant spot to eat breakfast. Interesting crew. There was some hints, which will mean a lot of hard work for those that attended.
There was a small groups of dedicated SAPS (that SA Puzzle Solvers) out for breakfast this morning, there was a veteran, lots of hard working solvers and even a virtual frog.
I was off to a good start when it turned out that my first puzzle I had basically solved, but got 1 number wrong that had totally thrown me .. great to have a safe environment where I can be told that I am a dork!
Puzzles worked on included Dead Language, 5th Symthony, Cache Record, Lege et lacrima, iTurn Animation Too, Stick to the Music, R U Game?, Vivid Mix, Orange, Don't Pay The Ferryman and Chocolates.
We will organise some more puzzle events, if you were unable to make it today, and interested in a future early morning get together - send me your e-mail and I'll add you to the list.
As already mentioned, I will follow this up with a weekend get together and Puzzle Solving 102 tutorial session.
Thanks everyone for a friendly and productive breakfast!

My HUGE apologies! I did not put this event on my diary and I just realized I missed it!!!! I'm so sorry!!! And I was gonna solve a cache or check puzzle, too!
Some puzzles were making my brain hurt so I was keen to get down and get some help. I think my brain hurts more after being there, but hot some much needed tips on puzzle solving methods. Thanks hgl.
Only 7 cachers were awake early enough to attend this event (although not all looked bright eyed and bushy tailed when they rocked up).
The puzzle hints came thick and fast though (outbound as well as inbound) and everybody (except Freddo/Fredd0 who has solved and found just about every SA puzzle) came away with some good information.
As an added bonus the foundation was laid to organise this event on a weekend maybe even with a ‘puzzling 102 presentation’ from yours truly.
Thanks for getting the ball rolling HGL!

Well that's the earliest I've gotten out of bed in quite some time...
Never-the-less everyone else was wide awake and ready to solve puzzles!
Thanks to hgl for organizing it!
And I'm keen for another - just not so early and maybe for a bit longer!

Wiil be there! Great idea, hope it becomes a regular feature of the caching calendar...
Miss 5 is sick, so no need to do drop off in the morning, hence I can attend. Stuck on some of the recent hard puzzles. Bfe's, vivid mix, shonky computer/no place like 127...
Would have loved to be there to get some help, but unfortunately timing won't work out for this one. Morning or evening should be OK just depends on the day. I hope it is a success so that there will be more to come!
Turns out I have the day off so I should be able to make it. Our house seems to be surrounded by tough puzzles like these: GC14KCC, GC1HTYT, GC23XBB, GC1RHX2, GC11Q0P, GCNWDD, GC1GM2C, GC1EVRV.
I am sorry! I had good intentions to get to this event, however slept in and then was running late for work Ill come to the next one.
Mr Tardis is in support of this event, but unfortunately can't make the time due to work commitments.
I must be doing OK, have solved many on LLegends's list, but there are also many others I have no clue how to start.

Would live to attend as I'm new to all this and can't even work out some of the most basic puzzles yet! But with 3 kids under 4 that time is impossible! An afternoon or evening one would be great.
Would have loved to come and learn a few tricky puzzles solving, but due to it being during the week unable to attend
I will stop by. I'll pick an easy one in order to get something accomplished because I can only stay for 30 minutes (I start work at 8, fortunately its close!). Sef-- I'll bring one of YOURS!
I would love to go and put faces to the names that I see solving these puzzles, but unfortunately I'm working.
Hopefully next time.
Hopefully next time.
Why do these events fall on rally Week will be in the forest playing with rally cars so a no show for me
Although I (Mrs Wibble) start work at 8am most days I can probably stretch it out to about 8:30 and therefore attend from 7:30 to about 8:25
LL's list covers a lot of ones I'm having trouble with, and quite a few I might be able to help with, if I can remember how I solved them.

There are days when working 15 minutes from home sucks
If I left the city at 8am I may just get to work by 8.45am so I figure, as much as I have been thinking how I would love to have people to share puzzle solving duty with, this is one event I can't get to
Have fun people

If you are interested; however the time does not work for you; let me know I will try and adjust for next time!
ill try to come before work, might have to leave a little bit before 9 though. Id like some help with the 'Head bangin' caches, I think there is 3 to do and I have been banging my head trying to solve them!
Impossible for me to come for a breakfast with school drop off at the same time
