In fairness I didnt search for very long as I couldnt find anything that fitted the hint, I didnt want to disturb any of the rare plants, and the day was heating up and the flies were becoming active! However, thank you for bringing me to this place, the graves are very poignant And it was wonderfully peaceful and thought provoking here this morning
Interesting to see this up here in the back of the cemetery cache seems to be missing so replaced with a mint tin
With a few days off back in Adelaide I decided to head to the mid north again after still having some caches to find up this way from my last visit 2 weeks ago, nice to be driving around on the back roads exploring new places and seeing the country side.
Thanks for the cache

Interesting area, spent some time here. Annoying bull ants and orb spiders, but no cache. Reluctant to step into the grave site, all other areas searched.
TFTC. Day 19 of honeymoon caching trip. Staying at Crystal Brook with glorious weather on our last “big” caching day before heading home !
Happy caching and safe travels!
Happy caching and safe travels!
Another cache found with richlink on our 2022 South Australian Adventure. Another very chilly morning had us rugged up well. This is why we love geocaching!
We are enjoying our time travelling SA. Fantastic towns, ruins, beaches and cliffs. Thanks to all the COs for taking us on a geo-guided tour.

Out in another chilly day with rain ️ threatening. Ranging a bit further afield from Port Pirie with iluvtrekking exploring the surrounds. Loving these back country roads - our type of caching. Thanks Tk2
Walked into this one and found an appropriate access the the back area. An amazing little gem that is rarely seen, unless your the resident kangaroo in these parts. A little bit of history just clinging on. Fav from us. TFTC
Took off to the North with Jack the Monkey, Sebastbat, and Purrfect Di today.
Dropped in on a medieval fair and saw cacher Chrispy89 along the way!!!
Thought we'd better find some caches too...
So off we went again, after stopping for some regional icecream
Quite a bit of history here and an unexpected find in the outer edges of the graveyard!
Cache in peace.

TFTC SL It is very well hidden. Only cachers would find this. Bet half the towns people don't know that this is here. Found while exploring the Gladstone area.
TFTC this was indeed a hidden cemetery. We signed & dated the log then placed it back where we found it. It’s so sad to see that quite a few babies are buried here.
8578 Located by baby&Mrs gopher at 1420. The flowers are out in full bloom after the recent rain. SL Tnx Tk2
Breker, found this interesting place, scared a mad hare!!
If it wasn’t for our caching friends places like this would never be known about. I believe our historic places should be signposted, and made accessible to everyone and maintained. I’m certainly glad I had the opportunity to see it.

this is as far as i got on day 1. Stayed overnight at Gladstone and after putting up the tent and cooking dinner i went about clearing the town out. I started to wonder if the co ords where out till i found the " hidden cemetery ". heading in the direction of port Lincoln for some 4 x 4 caches in the national parks and the kayak caches down there. I left a day earlier than expected so getting some " bonus " caches in on the way down there. quick find.
Camping in Jamestown for the weekend to attend an event and maybe see some airplanes! HHmmm I seem to have lost my eyeglasses...If anyones finds a random pair of specs at the cache, could you contact me to arange their return.. Wow, after a walk through the cemetery and out the back gate, I was not expecting this hidden cemetery! A quick find after reading the headstones. Thanks for bringing us out to this forgotten place. A fav point from us TFTC
We made this trip up north to pick up some of the caches we keep driving past as we head to/from the outback .
Well, we weren't expecting that !
TNLNSL.
Thanks Tk2.

That was unexpected. I hadn’t read the description just the name and was thinking well this is hidden way out in the open. However as I got closer and found the back gate I realized something was up and read the description. A fantastic extra. Fav point allocated. TFTC
After a day out hiking on the Heysen Trail a caching session with Malco! was required. Great hides in Gladstone. Thanks
On the way home from our annual pilgrimage to Darwin for the V8's, this time from the east coast. TFTC.
I love cemetery caches, there are so many stories....Out and about with Budgie 23. TFTC.
Hi there Tk2.
We found your cache **"The Hidden Cemetery"** at 11:13:00 AM today. (This makes our find count 15958).
We cached around Gladstone today. On our trek we found a variety of container types. & ended up finding 4 caches with 0 DNF's.
Thanks for placing this cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels, & this spot is certainly well hidden from the general public
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** Nothing.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

In Jamestown for a few days, heading to Pt Augusta and picking up a few caches. TFTC
Oh now this was an interesting location. I actually quite like wandering through a cemetery every now and then and I found the walk up the back track into the 'field'/ old cemetery was fascinating. How interesting!
Found whilst driving home after attending my first June Long Weekend Event (JLWE) - Wacky Wirrabara Wonderland!!
I had a ball this weekend and I can't wait until next year's event [^] . I was invited to team up with the GOTHS, and due to their experience, strategy, creativity, hard work and energy we ended up coming joint 3rd! Woo Hoo!! SOOO AMAZING!!!!
Most of the attendees camped at the camping grounds, but there was a small group of Wacky Geocachers who stayed warm and dry at the local pub - Seascout78, Laighside Legends, Astro, four-fun and myself
We all had a blast - heaps of fun, laughter, fishnet stockings, deadlines, no door on the shower nor on the women's toilet area in the accommodation (OMG, totally crazy but true!!! [:(!]), great food, great company [:X], early starts, late nights, alcohol, shed parties , freezing temperatures, someone needing a 2 hour nap during competition day , clear skies, Mark's spectacular driving [:X][^], sliding down a hill , mud [:(!], a 350m walk down and up a steep difficult hill when we could have driven to 30m from the cache [:(!][xx(]! Haha and they are the things I am able to mention, the info that needs to stay in the memory bank would be a more interesting read I reckon!
Please note, the caches I found this weekend may be signed as "GoodLook", "GL" or "GOTHS" - as I was an honorary member of this wonderful team of people: Brisal5, Mogni, Aussie M&M and alternkia for this Queens birthday long weekend.
Thanks for the cache!

Away for a weekend of caching with WhiteDog, Shonky, Uni, and Southern Cross
We started around Bowmans and finished the second day at Booleroo Centre.
Yet another cemetery. We were there just as the sun was setting. A long walk through snake country.

Our forth and last cemetery cache for the day. Wonder why this part wasn't fenced off and included with the rest of the cemetery! Had an interesting experience here, Mr Beetle was bitten on the foot by a large ant but the fun didn't stop there. He though he had brushed it off but it had crawled up his trouser leg. Think you can guess the rest!!!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Touring Australia having left Perth in late February we are leisurely touring South Australia.
Staying in a 'Free Camp' just out of Crystal Brook. It rained really hard overnight and we werent sure what the day was going to bring.
The morning was okay but some of the dirt roads we were to attempt were impassable! [xx(]
So a modified list was called for. Just after lunch the skies opened so any walking caches were also scratched from the list for today.
We enjoyed our tour of Gladstone, Caltowie, Jamestown, Bundaleer and Georgetown. Some very pretty and interesting scenery.
Very interesting to see the GZ here. Nice to see such friendship carry on.
Thanks for helping us tour this region by visiting your cache Tk2

After completing our 2nd trip around Australia, we are now heading towards Alice Springs.
Left Auburn today, and drove to Murray Town, caching along the way.
A nice surprise to find, this small extension to the cemetery - a great piece of history.
Cache was found quickly, and in good condition.
Many thanks for the hunt today, Tk2.

My favourite find for our little trip North - I would have snapped this little place up for a hide too! Loved it and the history SL Thank you for bringing me here
Made our way here, as my Bestie loves these sorts of interesting places.
Found the cache out in the open, so replaced next to one of the brick pillars, and secured with a couple of rocks.
Very interesting that these graves are outside the cemetery proper.
Thanks for bringing us here TK2.

What a lovely little well kept cemetery out in the middle of nowhere... there was plenty of kangaroos around amongst the graves.. Never seen that before...
Took us a little while to find the cache but only because "Someone" wasn't looking properly.. Probably took us a lot longer than it should have...
Thanks Tk2 for the cache.

Very interesting, tftc, geo kids not real happy about the large bull ants nest close by.
Thanks Tk2 for the cache, Thought GPS was steering to a wrong GZ, but it was spot on, A historical site. Got to GZ only to discover I left the pen in the Geo vehicle, however returned to SL and spotted a Fox. TFTH.
Many thanks from Peter for this cache on the 13. Australia Trip (2012/2013).

Found on the "I'm not Diving with the Great White Sharks trip". A great day weather wise and caching wise driving from Adelaide to Port Lincoln.
A top spot out the back. I looked and looked then paffed. Confirmed that this one had disappeared from its hole. The green lid was still there. I replaced this one - hope that's OK Tk2? Abuse me later if it's not!
Thanks to Tk2 and clear skies from TeamAstro.

Travelled north to finalize the quarterly BAS inputs and an afternoon free - what else to do?
Enjoyed my time rambling through the area and collecting some caches.
This was the third cache attempted, and I must admit initially didn't think that the cemetery was hidden at all. How on earth did you fond this spot?

Wow. What an interesting place. Is there a reason that these people at the back have been left out in the cold. Actually I like the way it is all returning to natural park. Bury me under a tree.
It certainly is a very hidden place. A pity there is so much unmarked history here.
Soon found the correct cutting edge, signed the log and were on our way. A very cold afternoon with a strong breeze blowing. TFTC TNLN SL
