Time for a Tuesday Trek for three Confused Puzzlers.Today's plan was for ttrogg to pick up The Rat from the Rat's den .Then travel south to meet up with the Starfish. We parked the geo mobile, and went for a walk in the scrub.A quick find and stamp for the Rat. Tftc
Was in the area for a couple of other caches so dropped by here for a look Spent about 15 minutes searching, looking everywhere without any joy.Noted that the previous 3 cachers that looked for this one had logged DNFs and its been about 16 months since last found.Ive therefore replaced the cache with a preform tube, near the end of the log and under it Happy caching folks
We looked everywhere, and found plenty of great places to put a cache. Unfortunately none of these places contained a cache.
Will be back when the grass has died off a bit.
Will be back when the grass has died off a bit.
Searched high and low (literally), but came up empty handed, our only DNF today. Alas. Foud lots of places that would have been perfect for it, hope to come back one day and cross this last one off the list for the park.
We went for a walk in my raincoat but it didn’t rain. I found the cache and signed the log.
This is my third time in the area, and second attempt at this one. I am usually down south in the summer months, and the first time I was here I disturbed a rather large snake. Not knowing where he slithered to, I slithered back to the car and left, without attempting any of the others in the park.
Today was different, I parked safely to the east, and headed directly west to the cache. I recognised the tree, and still took a look around for the slithery one. Too cold for him today. I found the cache quickly, nice location, great camo, cache in good condition.
Thanks for the cache duncast, find #7019 at 3.29pm

Headed south again today with the main aim being some walking in the 80 Acres Park just a bit south east of Happy Valley for ten traditionals. Managed to find eleven other traditionals on the way there and scored a bonus of a puzzle in the park that I had on the To Find list.
Last for the day and another quick find.
Thanks to duncast for putting out this cache for me to find and the maintenance required to keep it going.
*This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).*

No snake seen here today but a nice walk up the hill to Gz the cache was found in the obvious place and is all good
With the whole day to kill and an early birds event in the city I decided I would head to the southern suburbs after being down the last night I wanted to clean up a few more of the caches in the area and mainly targeting the walking caches. All up 39 finds for the day.

With my hand sanitizer to eliminate any chance of COVID19 and the usual 'out in the field' gear, i was ready for another days exercising and caching of course, down south [^]
80 Acres Park is a lovely place to visit and walk to get caches but try not to stray from the paths coz you'll get scratched and sliced by the brutal undergrowth and b*stard bushes [B)]!
{I reckon i nearly lost a pint of blood today, post 6 finds and 2 DNF's }
This one was find #1 and it's dry log was signed at 09:48 on Wed 22 April 2020.

The last find on our way back to the car! We will have to return another day as it is a nice area! TFTC
Geocaching for the day and getting very wet feet. Geokid 9 worked this out pretty quickly. TFTC
Decided to head to 80acres to do a spot of caching before heading out for Sunday lunch with the geohusband. Should have brought them along for this walk as the hound would have loved it especially all the rabbits, will have to come back with them both to pick up the ones I dnfd today or didn't have enough time to complete.
Totally underestimated the terrain and the wilderness, the paths seemed to mosaic all over the place so did lots of scurrying back and forth to find paths to the caches. There was a lot of up hill too, and dogs and muggles on bikes.
But in all it was a lovely walk and I picked up 6 more caches for the tally. Then off for a well earned roast lunch (beef with Yorkshire pudding, delicious).
This was my first find for the morning, took me a while and then had a head slap moment. TFTC duncast

One of my goals for this year is to fill in and many of the 83 calendar days that I am missing having found a puzzle cache. To date I have crossed out 34 days but missed 12, so I was to eager to cross off another required day today. [^] Unfortunately none are very close to home anymore and so I found myself traveling 40 kms to 80 Acres Park to grab a puzzle find. May as well enjoy the sunshine and grab the others scattered around the park.
After spending a very long time for a DNF I came out of the scrub to find a large open area. [^] Approaching GZ I saw the local kids had been building a shelter near it. Luckily the cache was still secretly hidden nearby and found in great condition.
**Thanks duncast for this cache. **

It was a nice sunny day to take the family out. We had fun climbing over the tree and took a while to find it.
Nice way to start the day wit the geo-pup - sun shining, a decent path, manageable undergrowth... but it was all downhill after that...

This area has been coming up on my radar quite a lot recently as un found aches close to home are becoming fewer and fewer. A nice walk too gz and the cache was found after a brief search of potential hiding spots.

Couldn't find this one the other day so today in the nice sunny weather I put my geocache head on and found it in 10 seconds haha!!!
No need to worry about bees today, the hive was abandoned. Quick find by the geomissus. TFTC.
Found with NiciDanielle and Zoe the GeoDog. Would've gone straight past this one when we did the multi-cache recently but ran out of time and our focus was elsewhere. Nice hide TFTC
Mr Tardis and Mini Tardis went for a nice short walk today to find this one. Mini Tardis found the cache in the first place he looked - don't you just love it when that happens?
Signed the log. Thanks for the cache duncast.

Not so short walk if start at other end of park but used to do it with cattle dog so she could chase rabbits and foxes by day and night. Also used to eat bees but they less active today cause of cold so log was signed.
Always discover something new in this park. Ground us greening up. Beautiful time to walk here. Tftc
Nice easy find. Please be careful if you are allergic to bees! The have set up a hive right near by. TFTC TNLNSL!
When will I remember that if I take my sunnies off I don't need a torch??? TFTF
Glad of the log to sit on and rest. Lovely view. Suggestion. Don't wear sunglasses and hope to see cache !!!

A lovely walk through bushland finding a number of caches. I managed to fall into a creek on the way to the cache but a bit of blood and a few bruises are all part of the sport! TFTC.
Wandered up from The Gnomes are Watching, enjoying the stroll through the reserve. Thanks for the cache duncast!
Went out this afternoon to grab some of the near home caches around Happy Valley and Aberfoyle Park. Some were walk ups and others a little more walking required.
Quick find and sign. TFTC.

Had to come back for another look. Caleb'sGrammy found it in the same place I looked!
Finally got a chance to return to this walk to grab the hides up the north end. Great area again, TFTC
After searching for gnomes a leisurely stroll to the tree Island was in order. A quick find of the cache was made and now its time to go hunting wabbits.
Thanks duncast for the cache!

Was out with Madham02 walking the dogs and grabbed a few caches in the area. Had a nice stroll to this one, and soon had the cache in hand, signed the log and replaced in its hide. Then headed home for much needed refreshments. Thanks for the cache duncast.
Nice location and a good cache. After finding the cache, headed NW across country in the general direction of relatives house, and had to walk West the whole way inside the North boundary of the golf course because there was no exit through houses onto Fraser Ave. TFTC
Visited this area after attending a nearby geocaching event. I enjoyed the stroll to the cache, including the friendly (or fearless) corellas feeding on the ground. Found the cache in good condition. TFTC duncast.
