I was really wanting to find this one as its been a long time since someone has but after looking around for awhile I came up empty handed.

Thanks for the cache Uddrchaos.
Found this one during summer 2014 but only just getting round to logging it now. Tricky to find but we did it!
A 3 day caching expedition with Freddo, Astro, WhiteDogGang an Four Fun.
Apologies for the generic log but we did a few trails and some of the Mountopoly series. We also did most of the BLE series.
The mozzies were full on at times and it rained most of the first day.

Lovely little devil
Cache found on the Joy of SECS tour with four-fun, Freddo, thewhitedoggang and Team Waldron. There were a stack of boxes to find so we pushed on. We even had a quick round of Mountopoly and a couple of Powertrails to add to the fun. The weather was cool and sometimes icy so wet boots were the order of the day.
Thanks to UdderChaos and clear skies from TeamAstro.

#320 caches found Beautiful forests out this way. So peaceful & relaxing. Looking in one spot with not much luck, we all turned around & walked back out then Geomum says "aww, so cute", kids say "where", I say "the cache". We loved this series of these creatures. So glad we headed out further to do all these. And what a nice sunny day to do these as well. A great day had by all. We thought these were our favourite. TFTC
A nice hide and cammoed cache!! Been to this area a few times now and never realised that you cant drive in!! Well I did but I promise Mr Ranger I wont the next time!!:)
Cheers for the cache!
Cheers for the cache!
We rather enjoyed this container, although one of its limbs had fallen off. As previous logs had stated the ranger had left a note with some regulations, one of which is no cars allowed (oops). Future cachers may want to stick to this in order to keep the peace with the government. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC. Found whilst on a "whilst the muggles sleep" hunt.
Was suprised at some of the regulation reminders from the ranger
Was suprised at some of the regulation reminders from the ranger
Out with Blinky and mum clearing up a few of the near to home caches. The previous finder to us was the ranger who wrote some reminders about using the area and fire bans etc.
Great container, but it does need some TLC
Thanks

I parked the geomobile nearby and wandered quietly in toward where the Basan was supposedly hiding
Listening carefully for the "basabasa" which would give away it's location
I was careful not to look away from the GPS when I heard it
That way it was still there when I found it [:o)]
The poor old thing is looking a bit worse for wear.
One of it's legs has fallen off
I put it back as best I could and so the Basan stands on it's own two (deformed) feet again
I wouldn't want to see this endangered species go the way of the dodo

Found during the Big Little Event in Nelson. Caching with Whites on Windsor, lolfrog, and Team Pedal Pushers.
So pleased to find this one after fighting our way across the forest, I think we may have come from the wrong direction. Good one!

Last day in Nelson after Happy Pants headed home this morning... Decided to grab some caches whilst attending the Big Little Event... Found with 3InOne as we meandered through these pine plantations...

#3545 I think we approached this from totally the wrong direction [:o)]. We parked by the roadside and headed into the scrub passing over 2 tracks which looked like a MUCH better option than the route we were taking on foot....nevertheless we were committed! We are notorious bushbashers (always take the hard way in & find the path on the way out ) so being made of sturdier stuff we scoffed at the bush and the barricades it tried to present, we laughed at the scatches (but not so much in the shower that night!) and the dry bush stuff that was falling off us the rest of the day...... All of a sudden something mythical was staring at us - the poor thing just balancing. Nice container & aside from a detachment issue the cache was in good condition. Replaced him teetering for the next finder. Thanks UdderChaos for the fun [^]
Locus Cache, DennisC52, and myself joined up with FireSafe and HoneySucker to continue caching. This time on our way to Beaker's 'Border Bottom' cache and Margaret Rose Caves area....

Found on our trip to the Little Big Event with Firesafe Hurtle and locus loved the cameo thought it was brilliantly done
Sunday at BLE and Huurtle, Dennisc52 and I set off to replace a cache which had been lost in the recent bushfires
There were a few caches on the way and, luckily for me, the boys were happy to head for Dartmoor where a couple of months ago in 40 odd degree heat while riding my motorbike back from Halls Gap I had stopped briefly, seen the nearby caches and just been too darn hot and tired to get any...... so today was the day [^]
Later on, we met up with Honeysucker and firesafe and continued caching until well after dark: 4WDing on dirt roads, beaches and through the forests [^]
A HUGE day of attempting 47 caches: 45 successful locus cache events [^] and only 2 DNFs
I am really loving the camo on these caches and am eagerly awaiting finding others now, to see what else you surprise us with
Our apologies if we left the Basan legless and thanks to If for replacing it [^]

Found at 3:38 PM GAFF1 in the company of Phetlern, Squalid and ruralslicker. Ha! Nice camo which stood out - wouldn't say heavily camouflaged, but effective.
Interesting that a few cultures had fire breathing dragons - there must have been something in it [?]
Thanks UdderChaos,

We were lucky that there was a trail to this one, making it a swift find. We liked the "camouflage". TFTC.
What fun driving along the border.
I do love a border cache and this one was even Mythical.
Parked and went hunting. We found a creature sure enough.

Loved it!! Definately a mythical creature we were happy to find. Awesome camo!! TFTC.
On the way to Portland for a swim meet, and what a great excuse to do some caches along the way.. Coming up to this one we spotted a huge and hungry wedge-tailed eagle snacking on the side of the road. He took off as we pulled up for a closer look, soaring towards the scrub (maybe a hint??) Another great Mythical Creature, and a lovely day for a walk as the sun kept trying to poke it's head out. TFTC
Such a beautiful area, one of those we just would not of known about if not for this awesome hobby, thank you for showing us. As last log mentioned, one of the features have become unstuck and need a little TLC, nothing in car to help fix this sadly, still looks very cool though. Took: TB, Left: Rubiks cube. TFTC.
Nice drive on a cold wet day TFTC

Yay! My very first FTF. Ah what a character! Thanks Udderchaos! A nice afternoon out with Goshaz.
Found out with Hiluxury who was keen to get her first "first to find" Luckily she found it before me and managed to sign the clear log book.
You were right about it being heavily camouflaged. It was very difficult to see.
