Such a nice day that I thought that I would try and knock off some more of the SWH caches and a few others on the way. Most were found quite easily although a few took a little longer. It was so green down here with lots of fat cows and some beautiful wildflowers to look at. Only a couple of DNFs so a good day Tftc
Out on a SWH caching run today, first day of annual leave so of course have to put it to good use! Nice quick find on this one, we all love a park and grab! Great sneaky hide too! TFTC
On our way down to Burekup so we decided to find some cool caches along the way!
A great hide here in a really cool place. Thanks!

On a bit of an impromptu caching run on the way back from collecting the toaster after leaving it behind at the church youth campsite
I was resorting to past logs when Lonewolf yells - “I found it!”

Day Eleven of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the morning on the South West Highway between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra, and the afternoon trying to find a cache that still exists on the way back to Rockingham.
A nice hide in a very public place (lots of school groups out on the oval today)
The log was wet so BB replaced it with a rite-in-rain log.
Thanks, Robmc.

#12696. Day 11 of our WA holiday and our 6th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to tackle the SWH Series between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra. We managed a nice run of 44 caches before lunch and then the wheels fell off somewhat as we made our way home via Mandurah. So many caches were not viable so we didn't feel like wasting time searching. It was hard to find some caches that were still in play.
There was certainly plenty of activity on the far end of the oval here today. Fortunately they weren't interested in what we were doing. This was a bit of a nasty sneaky hide. Rob brought it over to the car and then we discovered that the log was indeed wet and also extremely full. We left a new log sheet today and continued on.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil

Decided to try and get all the caches on the west side of SWH on way home.
Found the log was wet, I dried it as best as I could.

Thank you! I decided to head down to Pinjarra for lunch and head home via the south west highway. Happy to make the find here.
Spent the day trying to finish off the rest of SWH and had some success but had to give up when the rain became too heavy and persistent in the afternoon. This is one of the caches I was lucky enough to find. Thanks for placing and maintaining it!
Out and about bright and early grabbing some SWH caches. Thanks to the COs that have placed and maintain these for our caching pleasure.
Quick find of this clever camo.
TFTC Keego_and_Chil this is find # 2434 for us.

This was our first full day of caching from our base at Mandurah, many of the caches we found, belonging to the various series, which appear as green snakes on our geo map of this part of WA.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing caches for everyone's enjoyment.

Hi there Keego_and_Chil.
We found your cache **"SWH...FelixII"** at 2:44:00 PM today. This cache makes our find count 14880.
Our plan for the day was to complete some of the SWH series, together with a few others that were also close to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive attempting caches to the left on our way north and picking up the ones we missed on the return trip. We found a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way, and also managed to pick up a couple of trackables.
Today we found 35 caches & DNF'd 3. Without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** Good. We replaced the log.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge if the container was large enough.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Out and about exploring the area with CAD - staying in Pinjarra for a few days visiting family ... We are on a year long caching adventure around Australia from Darwin... Found after a short search - log is almost full ... Thanks 4TC:)
Found it took a couple of looks but nice spot for the geopups to run around and a bite to eat
Holidaying in the area with tmann421, collecting some caches along the way.

Out night caching with Moneydork and Semik after the WA Goes Big 2016 Dinner. TFTC.
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during WA Goes Big 2016. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
The WA Goes Big 2016 event provided the perfect excuse for me to pack up the wife and travel across to get some caches in WA. I have previously cached WA in 2008 (Perth to Geraldton and back) and 2011 (Kunninara) so it was great to head south from Perth this time.
This series was close to where we stayed during the WA goes big event at Pinjarra.
It was great to have such a great range of quality caches close to the event. TFTC.

Found the camoed micro cache during WAGB 2016 event with the Cherad team. TFTH Keego_and_Chil.
Travelling to Pinjarra for the WA Goes Big weekend after flying over from NSW on Wednesday. Searching for the SWH series plus a few extras. Most were found, interesting variety of caches containers appreciated, a few took a bit of searching to locate and there were a couple of DNFs. Also found was an ants nest, a bee hive and an emu!!! Thank you to all the COs for putting out these caches.
Have no idea why I did not find this last time.......Oh well glad to have changed a sad face to a smily.
Thanks K&C.
Thanks K&C.
Took a drive out to do some more of the SWH series. It was a warm day, but perfect for car hopping along the highway. I couldn't believe how quickly I found this one, but it could have others scratching their head for a while. Very clever camo. TFTC Keego and Chil, deserves a favourite point from me.
TFTC - Headed out today to extend our finds on the SWH series. We had a great day out with lots of fun finding the caches. Nice camo.
Looked for this one high and low about two years ago, fresh to caching... Happened to be doing the new Lakes rd series with my sister Kylestell, and this little gem popped up, finally I have the smiley... Thanks for the awesome find!
Running up the numbers today in readiness of my 3000th find in Albany next week. Had a go at my unfound SWH caches down to Pinjarra and then some Greek Alphabets on the way back plus a few others here and there.
Was foiled by the camo here for a while. Came up with the goods eventually though.
Keego_and_Chil I found your cache at 9:40am, this was the 13th of 56 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2927. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Drove up to the West OZ Geocaching Meeting in Gosnells and decided to leave early and find a few caches along the way. Unfortunately it started raining heavily with a thunderstorm arriving quickly. So geoP had to make a quick dash out of the car to find the cache. Cache spotted quickly, signed and rehidden. tftc sl tnln
One a cache a day mission for the summer school holidays. Was on my way to North Dandalup so stopped and grabbed a few SWH caches on my way. On arrival at GZ the place was empty, have been here a few times to watch friends at Carriage Driving events. Lovely spot here. Cache was an easy find in it camo. TFTC
Tftc nice easy find with blaze169 and grene11 on our way down the SWH grabbing geos
Spent the day collecting SWH geos with baconfamily33 blaze 169 and geogranny. Most of the caches were park and grabs but a few stumped us and we got a few DNF's

Couldn't find it then got back in car to drive off and AHA I noticed it! Great hide
Originally logged under family name of clan-wallace now slowly transitioning to new name
I had the pleasure of working with Clan-Wallace to find this one. We have had a wonderful day together and I am enjoying seeing more smiley faves along this highway
I had the pleasure of working with Felix II on the registration desk at WAGB 2015. What a very pleasant couple. This cache will also contribute to the WA Rural Towns Challange as it is within 2kms of North Dandalup. TFTC
The 8th attempt with no joy on our drive to WA Goes Big in Busselton, she had already found some of these but too good an opportunity to miss out while we had the time. She could not even remember where it may have been, so we drove on.
Thanks for this clever hide K&C

I was out of the house early and heading from the Perth down to Dunsborough. What a perfect opportunity to cruise down the South Western Highway and rack up a few caches along the way. I would have loved to hunt for these all day but my time commitments curbed my efforts to stop at Pinjarra. I found this to be a much more scenic trip than via Forrest Hwy and there are so many more places to stop along the way. When I arrived there was an sharply dressed muggle tucking into some rather early lunch, so I decided to follow suit by doing the same. He had the bigger lunch, but I am a particularly slow eater, so he finished before me and took off in his car, allowing me to take time and consideration in hunting this cache. It was a tough one, there were so many possible hiding places, but after systematic elimination of all options, I eventually discovered it. All up it was half an hour, plus eating time. But I needed a good break from the driving, anyway. I am sure FelixII are proud of this one. TFTC Keego and Chil
After heading up the hill to sort out some weekend leave, decided to have a leisurely drive back down the highway to home while adding a few caches to the tally. After a 4 month break from caching, it was good to get back into finding a few. A bonus; having relatively little traffic on the road today! Knowing FelixII, I was not disappointed with a well disguised cache. Had a good idea of what I was looking at. Have been watching their destinations on Facebook; that will be me one day!!!
My GZ wavered between 3 items. It finally settled on the least likely but that was indeed where the cache was. TFTC.
