Taurus Six and I have taken an extra day off work for the long weekend so we can meander our way to the Perth Hills where we will spend the three days . Great weather for ducks today not that we are complaining however because there certainly has not been much rain of late and we definitely need it. A leisurely start had us at the Crooked Carrot for brunch before hitting the highway. Our aim was to collect straggler caches in the Peel and Murray areas before switching back to the South West Highway via Lakes Road geocaching along the way . All in all a fantastic day exploring and geocaching and we are not totally wet .This was our nineteenth cache find of the day and we decided to clear up a few more of the SWH series as we made our way to the Serpentine Jarrahdale area . Thanks for the cache find .
Heading home after a few days camping in Dwellingup. My drive back is also an opportunity to make a dent in the SWH caches along this stretch - happily another 10 were turned yellow, along with a few extras along the way This was one that I stopped off at. Another quick easy find here! No problems - TFTC
Heading out after bedtime I headed this way and parked up on the side of the road.
Picked the most open path to GZ and found the container within minutes.
Was stoked to see the original log book still here, testament to a good hide.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing SWH...Wileyclan for me and others to find.
I added my name to the log at 19:41 on 2/2/2023.
This is find number 6590 for me.

Nice quick find here after completing the Momentum Obstacle Course Race in Keysbrook TFTC
Snagged of a couple of finds for today on the way home.

The Shire were working on the road just to the south but the pull in and thick bush near GZ made this a pleasurable hunt. No need to pretend I am looking at wild flowers!!

After the rain interrupted us hunting gnome hunters we thought we would fill in some gaps on the SWH. We stopped and made a quick park and grab. We made our mark on your log and returned your cache back to its place of hiding. Now on to the next. TFTC Keego_and_Chil.
Found with axell33 after spending some time on the gnome series up te hill. Happy adding the the SWH series. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Baldivis.
We headed out to collect some more smilies around and along the SWH today, we are happy to say that we came up trumps here, most of today's finds were quick, we loved the variety of caches that we came across, thanks to all CO's that placed these caches for us to find TFTC
Such a nice day that I thought that I would try and knock off some more of the SWH caches and a few others on the way. Most were found quite easily although a few took a little longer. It was so green down here with lots of fat cows and some beautiful wildflowers to look at. Only a couple of DNFs so a good day Tftc
Found on the floor so have replaced in a more secure place where i think it came from. TFTC
Headed out on this nice Saturday arvo with the hubby to pick up some caches a bit further away from home to help us close in on a milestone soon. Quick find and replaced as found. Tftc
#12683. Day 11 of our WA holiday and our 6th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to tackle the SWH Series between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra. We managed a nice run of 44 caches before lunch and then the wheels fell off somewhat as we made our way home via Mandurah. So many caches were not viable so we didn't feel like wasting time searching. It was hard to find some caches that were still in play.
Another find, our names added and we continue on.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil

Day Eleven of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the morning on the South West Highway between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra, and the afternoon trying to find a cache that still exists on the way back to Rockingham.
Another walk across to the other side (we were travelling south)
But a very impressive tree here.
Thanks, Robmc.

A overcast but fine day to be out and about. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ... Whilst I don't know this team, I thank them for contributing so that we have another cache too find. Managed to grab 18 today. I will be back to collect the remainder along the trail.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Keego_and_Chil. Appreciate your effort.
Greetings from Victoria.

Spent the day trying to finish off the rest of SWH and had some success but had to give up when the rain became too heavy and persistent in the afternoon. This is one of the caches I was lucky enough to find. Thanks for placing and maintaining it!
Out and about bright and early grabbing some SWH caches. Thanks to the COs that have placed and maintain these for our caching pleasure.

Hi there Keego_and_Chil.
We found your cache **"SWH...Wileyclan"** at 11:40:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 14904.
Our plan for the day was to complete some of the SWH series, together with a few others that were also close to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive attempting caches to the left on our way north and picking up the ones we missed on the return trip. We found a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way, and also managed to pick up a couple of trackables.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge if the container was large enough.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Making my way back to Perth to fly home tomorrow after having a great weekend at Fairbridge/Pinjarra for the WAGB event. This is a great series and help me remember some of the cache names over the weekend. Thanks to the COs.
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during WA Goes Big 2016. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
The WA Goes Big 2016 event provided the perfect excuse for me to pack up the wife and travel across to get some caches in WA. I have previously cached WA in 2008 (Perth to Geraldton and back) and 2011 (Kunninara) so it was great to head south from Perth this time.
This series was close to where we stayed during the WA goes big event at Pinjarra.
It was great to have such a great range of quality caches close to the event. TFTC.

Found on a fun day caching with Micaparamedic and Ahomburg. We found almost all caches including a couple that had not been found for a while, and a couple of clever hides.
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing this cache.

TFTC - Headed out today to extend our finds on the SWH series. We had a great day out with lots of fun finding the caches.
Running up the numbers today in readiness of my 3000th find in Albany next week. Had a go at my unfound SWH caches down to Pinjarra and then some Greek Alphabets on the way back plus a few others here and there.
A quick find on this one after banging my head on a low hanging branch. Ouch!!!
Keego_and_Chil I found your cache at 8:42am, this was the 6th of 56 finds for me today and brings my total find count to 2920. The cache was in good order and I replaced it as found.

Drove up to the West OZ Geocaching Meeting in Gosnells and decided to leave early and find a few caches along the way. Unfortunately it started raining heavily with a thunderstorm arriving quickly. So geoP had to make a quick dash out of the car to find the cache. Cache spotted quickly, signed and rehidden. tftc sl tnln
We wanted to go to the falls today but it's been closed due to fire risk. So we've come in search of tea instead.
Thanks for a pleasant diversion on the road.

After heading up the hill to sort out some weekend leave, decided to have a leisurely drive back down the highway to home while adding a few caches to the tally. After a 4 month break from caching, it was good to get back into finding a few. A bonus; having relatively little traffic on the road today! Cache was lying out in the open, fully exposed.
Was intending of starting a different series but my motorbike decided to be difficult and military stacking it (lol) and snapping off her brake lever we just decided to get a few more of th SWH series in the long trek back home. Tftc
A day caching with S'n'N planning to tackle the Stand by Me series on our pitbikes. But after a failed mission due to the bikes breaking we decided to hit the SWH instead. TFTC
TFTC! Out for a weekend caching run to Bunbury with Cravo10 and ItsKate to complete the South West Highway trail, some Moneybox caches in Capel and of course as many others along the way. Thanks
Doing the south west highway trail with barnzy12 and itskate today. The weather was amazing and made for a great day. Started at 6am in byford. Signed the logs in a few different variations from full names to first letters and date.
Out with Barnzy12 and Cravo10 on this beautiful Saturday on a long hunt from Byford down to Bunbury, what an amazing day. TFTC
I took the chance to get out of the house and find a few caches today by heading to the South West Hwy and ticking off as many as I could from Byford to Pinjarra. I started at about 8.30am and finished up just before 6pm. I stopped for lunch at the Pinjarra Bakery before heading north again to grab the ones on the other side of the road. I'm sorry for the standard log, but there were too many for me to remember each one. TFTC Keego_and_Chil
This was one of the finds I had today. A great weekend traveled down from Geraldton to spend all day Saturday Geocaching with my Sister we found 61 all up completely worn out but what an Awesome day.
