Today the geocaching plan for Taurus Six and I was to meander our way to the International Geocaching Day event in a Toodjay. We have both taken the day off work to give us more time to get there and of course more time for geocaching . Our route was to come up the South West Highway and collect a few caches along the way, specifically between Serpentine and Byford. Brunch at Byford before heading to Armadale to pick up a couple of Adventure Labs . The next stop was a couple of caches in the Kalamunda LGA , because we have not yet got that one yet. Before hitting the Toodjay Road from Midland . The weather was overcast and a little cold in the morning and then the sun came out in the afternoon, however it was perfect for geocaching. All in all a great day of meandering, exploring and geocaching .This was our second cache find of the day along this very busy stretch of the South West Highway. Needed to wait a few moments for the traffic to subside before tackling this one. Luckily it was a nice quick and easy find. Thanks for the cache find.
I had to explain cache to a council worker who was spraying. Took a bit to find it

Out hunting down a few caches in the area, over the years I have found over 50 of Rudi63’s hides, so it was nice to find his SWH tribute cache. A quick search revealed the cache and we soon had your log signed and cache returned to where it hides. It’s always nice to do a welfare check on a cache that hasn’t been found for awhile, happy to say this one is doing well. TFTC Keego_and_Chil.
Out with axell33 and the geopups for a few caches. Nice to get a couple more SWH caches, still plenty more to collect! The cache is in good condition. Thanks for the cache.
We headed out to collect some more smilies around and along the SWH today, we are happy to say that we came up trumps here, most of today's finds were quick, we loved the variety of caches that we came across, thanks to all CO's that placed these caches for us to find TFTC
Such a nice day that I thought that I would try and knock off some more of the SWH caches and a few others on the way. Most were found quite easily although a few took a little longer. It was so green down here with lots of fat cows and some beautiful wildflowers to look at. Only a couple of DNFs so a good day Tftc
Headed out on this nice Saturday arvo with the hubby to pick up some caches a bit further away from home to help us close in on a milestone soon. Quick find and replaced as found. Tftc
3rd find for the day. Thank heavens not as tough as some of Rudi's geocaches! TFTC
#12681. Day 11 of our WA holiday and our 6th day based in Rockingham. Robmc and I decided to tackle the SWH Series between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra. We managed a nice run of 44 caches before lunch and then the wheels fell off somewhat as we made our way home via Mandurah. So many caches were not viable so we didn't feel like wasting time searching. It was hard to find some caches that were still in play.
We have done at least one of his caches this trip. Searched a little while before we found it. Names in the log and we continued on.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil

Day Eleven of our holiday in Western Oz.
Bettyboo3747 and I have spent the morning on the South West Highway between Jarrahdale and Pinjarra, and the afternoon trying to find a cache that still exists on the way back to Rockingham.
This was a big "small"!
Done a few of this cacher's hides on this trip.
Thanks, Robmc.

A overcast but fine day to be out and about. Parked nearby and strolled to GZ... Whilst I don't know this team, I thank them for contributing so that we have another cache too find. Managed to grab 18 today. I will be back to collect the remainder along the trail.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for our enjoyment Keego_and_Chil. Appreciate your effort.

Spent the day trying to finish off the rest of SWH and had some success but had to give up when the rain became too heavy and persistent in the afternoon. This is one of the caches I was lucky enough to find. Thanks for placing and maintaining it!
We stopped and let the house float that has been bothering is pass. This was the perfect excuse to pull over.
Thanks

Out and about bright and early grabbing some SWH caches. Thanks to the COs that have placed and maintain these for our caching pleasure.

Hi there Keego_and_Chil.
We found your cache **"SWH...Rudi63"** at 11:52:00 AM today. This cache makes our find count 14906.
Our plan for the day was to complete some of the SWH series, together with a few others that were also close to the highway. We thoroughly enjoyed our drive attempting caches to the left on our way north and picking up the ones we missed on the return trip. We found a variety of container types and sizes hidden along the way, and also managed to pick up a couple of trackables.
Thanks for placing the cache here, without geocaching as our guide we would never have found so many interesting places on our travels.
**Coordinate Accuracy:** We found the cache around 2m from where the GPS said we should be looking.
**Cache Condition:** The container and log book are in good shape.
**Took:** Nothing.
**Left:** A Smiley Badge if the container was large enough.
Thanks for the hunt today,
Regards
Ian & Penny.

Making my way back to Perth to fly home tomorrow after having a great weekend at Fairbridge/Pinjarra for the WAGB event. This is a great series and help me remember some of the cache names over the weekend. Thanks to the COs.
**this is a late log** I have recently made a major upgrade to my GSAK license and found this lovely feature that automatically tells me what caches I have marked found in GSAK but never logged on geocaching.com!! Yay, Clyde, you can have my money anytime! The caches I am logging in this batch were ones I found during WA Goes Big 2016. In an interest to get completely caught up, I am logging my past finds in bulk. I still have work to do after this, as I need to locate my notes from all of my earthcaches, but once those are in, I should be very close to current. I appreciate all the effort you go through to create and place your hides and do not for one second take it for granted, I just need to get caught up so I can return to my once pleasant logs. Cheers!
The WA Goes Big 2016 event provided the perfect excuse for me to pack up the wife and travel across to get some caches in WA. I have previously cached WA in 2008 (Perth to Geraldton and back) and 2011 (Kunninara) so it was great to head south from Perth this time.
This series was close to where we stayed during the WA goes big event at Pinjarra.
It was great to have such a great range of quality caches close to the event. TFTC.

Found on a fun day caching with Micaparamedic and Ahomburg. We found almost all caches including a couple that had not been found for a while, and a couple of clever hides.
Catching up with some late logs, therefore this unfortunately is going to be one of 'those logs'. I apologize in advance for the generic log, A combination of limited time and too many to log dictates that a generic log is best. I have enjoyed the hunt and being outdoors in this great country of ours, partaking in a pastime that I thoroughly enjoy. I usually head out by myself, but I thank those that have had the misfortune of my company in some of these ventures.
Thanks Keego_and_Chil for placing this cache.

TFTC - Headed out today to extend our finds on the SWH series. We had a great day out with lots of fun finding the caches.
Tftc nice find with blaze169 and grene11 on our way down the SWH grabbing geos
Spent the day collecting SWH geos with baconfamily33 blaze 169 and geogranny. Most of the caches were park and grabs but a few stumped us and we got a few DNF's

Nice quick snatch and grab caching down the SW highway today thanks Keego & Chil
Got a bit confused here as I look for quite a while on the wrong side of the fallen tree, walked around and bingo there it was. Thanks for the hide K&C.
With the sun about to go down on the shortest day of the year and in the pouring rain I decided to give this one ago on my way home as I could hopefully do a dash n grab. After a quick search I saw a nice hollow and thought "ahh i bet its in here". So I wearily put my hand in brushed away the leaves and thought got it! Pulled it out but alas - thats not a cache thats an empty coke can!
So after another quick search of the area as the skies opened up again I found the real cache.
Made the dash back to the car before opening it up in the dry to sign the log. Raced back and replaced the cache - nice little grove meant it went back exactly where it was found. TFTC
