I remember driving past this site any number of times in a futile search for another cache, one i still havnt found. At the time i thought it looked interesting and a good spot for a cache so it was with pleasure that i stopped and explored a little and found this one, thanks for the chance to look around.

The trip

I have been feeling a bit off colour for a few days without much energy to tackle things at home nor even to sort out some caching. Yesterday afternoon i found myself feeling a bit better and after finishing a couple of chores i sat down to map out some caches to target to fulfill some challenges and badgegen goals. Of course i ended up with a spray of caches right across my map. How do i break them up into groups, which direction do i head for my next trip? It was late so i left it for the evening. This morning i had another look and after some dithering decided that St Arnaud was the first area to tackle. After a leisurely (late) start i am hoping for lots of lovely caches for the day.

After my usually busy Christmas and Boxing Day I was able to hit the road for a 1 week break which I was looking forward to and I had plans on where I was going to.
Then a couple of muggle friends suggested we head away together and my plans changed for the first time.
So we had a trip planned to NSW and all was going great.
Then our plans were changed with what was happening in NSW so we picked a spot on the map and that was Hopetoun.
The silo art up this way is something that we had been looking at for a while so now we had our trip planned.
Came up through Nullawil and Sea Lake to see those silos then headed west to start the silos that I haven’t done yet and we stayed at Hopetoun for a few days to visit the rest of them.
It was time to head towards home and after stopping in Woomelang for some great art then Birchip, got to Donald in a very roundabout way and finally reaching my destination for the next couple of nights St Arnaud.
Last time I was up here it was for the Mega so it was good to be back up hear to clear out a few more caches.
Now a good story would be that I spent a lot of the lockdown solving a lot of puzzles but with a lot of help I had the final coords for some more.
A nice day dawned after all of the rain that we had last night and I was not sure what the tracks would be like but there was only one way to find out.
Good thing about satellite maps is that it shows you a lot of tracks that don’t appear on normal maps and how to get to them.
I have been to this place before and had a good look around and have also driven past it a few times while doing some laps.
This one took a bit longer to find as my GPS wasn’t happy with the area but I got there in the end.
Thanks FUF009 TFTC

The puzzle was solved before we arrived, and as there was still a bit of daylight left after we finished what we had planned to do, we had a look at GZ. A great piece of industrial history to explore - we were surprised how much there is still to be seen and wondering what might be held in the shed now. A FP for bringing us here with a neat puzzle task.
Bonus for us: We are the first finders in 7 months, we are stoked!

St Arnaud Day 5
With the event now over we have stayed one extra day to do a few more caches.
This afternoon we concentrated on finding some isolated caches. Surprised to come accross the old Eucy plantation & seeing the ruins. FP given
This town has the most amazing & inventive caches that we have found in any area. The locals should be proud of what they have placed here.
Many of the puzzles which we had spent hours pondering over, we had solve before leaving home.
Thankyou for placing this cache FUF009

Hi, my name is DARKSIDEDAN and I have a Geocaching problem. Its only been one day since I found my last geocache. Today I gave into temptation and binged on several caches including this cache. For many people who geocache if a fun activity, but for me it is an addiction. I needed to get out and find some caches today to satisfy my endless thirst. I have a Geocaching problem.

Do you have a Geocaching Problem also? Please look at and answer the following questions.
1. Have you missed classes, work or family functions because of geocaching?
2. Have you ever taken your entire lunch break looking for a Geocache?
3. Do you have trouble going anywhere without first checking for nearby caches?
4. Does geocaching come up in almost every conversations you have?
5. Do you always carry a pen with you no matter where you go?
6. Do you log in to Geocaching.com more than once a day?
7. Can you recall the name or GC Code of a Geocache you went to 6 months ago?
8. Do you ever find yourself in the local dollar store buying swag or logbooks?
9. Do you drive past any location without saying “That’s a Good spot for a Geocache”?
10. Do you lie to others about how often you geocache?
11. Do you use geocaching to help you relax?

If you answer “Yes” to more than 3 Questions, You have a Geocaching Problem. Help is available for your addiction, you are not alone. You can break the Geocaching Addiction Cycle. Thanks for the cache.

I was assisted to solve this puzzle at a puzzle and pizza night prior to the Mega event at St Arnaud so it was one I really wanted to find...

LiB, scramping & I were still out after midnight doing a spot of night caching...
We found this interesting spot at the Eucy Plantation...
Things look a lot different by torchlight...

This weekend was the St. Arnaud Mega event and I was looking forward to hitting the road for a few days doing some flat out caching, visiting many new and amazing places and catching up with lots of caching friends. The event was a great success and heaps of fun. The caches provided by the local cachers were, in many cases, absolutely mind blowing (FUF009 caches most notably). All in all it was a great weekend, very warm weather and lots of caches found.
Cache found and log signed. TFTC.

Find #4002
Mystery Find #693**

St Arnaud MEGA Day 1. An early, but not too early start for the first day of this Mega. More excellent caches around St Arnaud to be found and this was one of them. SteMicMitSar and I joined forces and we set off together to tackle those caches which we didn't have time to find over the Grand Final long weekend.
Another puzzle I need some help with. I love poking around old machinery so this location was of particular interest to me.

**Thank-you to FUF009 for placing this geocache**

Found during a trip to St Arnaud to attend the Mega event.

FeatherWaite, gridge98 and I left Adelaide on the Thursday, taking a circuitous, but scenic route to St Arnaud to pick up a few caches in some other Victorian LGAs. We met up with Freddo and Davidwazza at the event that evening and teamed up to complete a couple more caches that night together before camping out of town.

Over the next three days we cached very solidly in and around St Arnaud, finding a diverse range of Traditional, Multi, Unknown, Virtual, Letterbox, Wherigo and Earthcaches as well as attending all the events associated with the Mega. We also managed to complete all the Lab caches over the weekend. Logbooks were signed D.E.F.F.98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo and gridge98).

On the Sunday afternoon, after the final GIFF event, FeatherWaite and I began making our way back to Adelaide, picking up a couple of caches before camping in the Little Desert NP. The following day we continued towards home with a side visit to Mount Rescue to pick up a few caches along the tracks there.

Thanks to all the cache owners for placing and maintaining the caches. They included a huge variety of containers, hides and puzzles, many of which were very clever and/or amusing and had obviously taken considerable time and effort to construct. Thanks also to all those who organised the Mega and the associated events. I’ll be looking forward to the Mega at Millicent in South Australia next Easter!

Found on the trails.

Twelve months ago as we finished the Parkville Mega we were advised by someone that the next Victorian Mega event would be held in Saint Arnold. Somebody else told us that the Mega event would be held in Saint Arnood. And then another said that Saint Arned was the Mega event venue. Who should I believe? Struggling to understand the English language at the best of time. Freddo speaks two languages, Australian and Bad English.
Move forward a year. There is a cluster of events, including a MEGA event, at this town called St Arnaud burning a hole in my GPSr. The big white Pay Hero is loaded with GPSr, TOTT and camping gear and we headed east with a collaboration of like minded South Australian colleagues. DavidWazza, e.gregory1, Featherwaite, freddo and Gridge98 make team DEFF98.
Thursday: 5am event at a bakery in North Adelaide. The bed wetter team meets and says that this is way too early. Travel 500km east for the Thursday evening event. Freddo gets a prize. I am no mug. Camping in the bush under the stars.
Friday: Up early and headed out on the trails. And then back to our campground for a CITO! I am sure we did not make that much mess last night. More trails and 200 caches find for the day including a cluster of caches where freddo left DNA. More bush camping after a great meal in the Sporting Club.
Saturday: Up early for an event. Who puts an event on at 8am. Damn South Australians that’s who. After the event it was back on the trails and the Pay Hero is getting dustier and dustier. Found some awesome caches. Freddo the metallurgist was very impressed with the welding. Quality fabrication. And then another CITO. This time at the dump. Plenty of rubbish here. Some of it good stuff. Can I take some home? And finally a giant queue for a free meal. Nothing attracts a crowd like a free meal. The moment of the evening was receiving a Hall of Fame nomination. That prize is going straight to the pool room.
Sunday: Another night camping in the bush. Some fabulous night caches walks were undertaken. Night caching is a special form of entertainment. We spent the day cruising around picking up the left over unfound caches and meeting heaps of new friends. Boycotted the GIFF event since it did not show the freddo film “Cache Confusion” https://vimeo.com/372568752. One minute and forty four seconds of your life you won’t get back. A quick speech and it was back on the road for home. Well Horsham. More camping. This time by a river.
Monday: Caches around Horsham and following the Duke’s Highway back to Adelaide. Time for a shower for this smelly geocacher. An exhausted chocolate frog slept well.

We came, we cached, we ate, we slept; repeat for five days of fun and dust.

Easter 2020 sees South Australia hosting the next Easter big MEGA event, GeoVenture 2020 at Millicent. GC82DAN. Check it out. We would love to see you there.

A weekend of caching with AlphaDeltaIndigo and Ying-Yang in St Arnaud, along with a heap of other people. We stayed at Wedderburn, and commuted to St Arnaud each day, and what an amazing area this was to cache in! We very much enjoyed our trip to the Northern Grampians Shire! My fifth Victorian Mega (sixth overall) and can't wait to come back next year and do it again!

This was find number 2 of 28 for the day for me. TFTC FUF009!

Found during a trip to St Arnaud to attend the 2019 Victorian Mega event. The weekend was spent primarily with e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo, and gridge98 as we geocached around the vicinity of St Arnaud. All of the events and CITOs were attended, we completed the available adventure labs and lab caches available at the showgrounds, many of the creative trails were gasped at their construction, and interesting puzzles were solved and collected during the weekend.

We all left on Thursday in two separate cars, and met up at the evening event, before finding a camp spot for the night in a very CITO location. On Friday, we targeted the StARS (St Arnaud Ramble Series) and the higher quality, well-constructed geocaches that were famous here in St Arnaud, and got lucky with the 2019 published series that we managed to snag FTFs on. Sunday had us continuing to find the other sets of high-quality caches around the neighbouring town parks, the challenge series, before spending a few hours at geocaching HQ participating in the labs that had been published. The event was also great to see some of the South Australians honoured with geocaching life awards (in amongst everyone on the list). Our final day, Sunday, had us do a big loop finishing off our geocache collection, driving all the way out to Kooreh and around via Stuart Mill, walking the conservation park at Mount Gowar, and finishing off at the GIFF event. A massive weekend that turned out to be a great mega! Thanks to all those who organised the Mega and the associated events. The variety between the local high-quality caches, the new series placed by the mega team, and those who needed to be around for the labs and main centre fielding questions was appreciated immensely.

Today, we continued with the well-constructed caches, starting off at the original series, *Fire Break Track* FBT, followed by the *Loop Track* LT series, visiting a few geocaches in between. We then called into Mega HQ to register our attendance, and then progressed through the Challenge series. We finished off the day with the CITO event and a few miscellaneous and puzzle caches around the area, and then had a well-deserved BBQ dinner at the event. We also completed a few night caches towards the west of St Arnaud, which turned out to be great and easily followed. This cache was found during a side route to our adventures. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks FUF009 for placing and maintaining this cache. The logbook was signed as DEFF98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, FeatherWaite, Freddo, and gridge98).

Found as part of our trip to the St Arnaud Mega event. On Day 1, e.gregory1, gridge98 and I left Adelaide on the Thursday morning, straight after the Earlybirds event in North Adelaide. We travelled a long and circuitous route via Bordertown, Nhil and Warracknabeal to find caches in 5 additional Victorian LGAs that I had yet to visit (namely Buloke, Loddon, [Greater Bendigo - I’d previously visited], Mt Alexander, Hepburn and Central Goldfields). On Days 2-4 we met up with Freddo and Davidwazza. As a group we systematically completed each of the many series around St Arnaud and found all other caches along the way, signing the logbooks as DEFF98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, Freddo, Featherwaite and gridge98), as well as attending the events and completing the Lab caches. After the Mega, e.gregory1 and I headed back to Adelaide camping out in Little Desert NP overnight. On Day 5 we had intended picking up caches around Mundulla and Mount Monster but a last minute change of plans saw us head into Ngarkat CP instead, for a solid drive and a few extra rewarding cache finds. Many thanks to all the cache owners for placing the huge variety of caches around St Arnaud and to all those who organised the Mega and the fantastic weekend away. Thanks for the puzzle and cache FUF009!

*Cache find # 10114.*

Day two of the St. Arnard Mega event had us looking for this cache.
Since I was last here I was able to get a few more puzzles solved for this trip so we had to go and find them while we were here this time.

**Thanks to FUF009 for placing this cache.**

The crew had solved this before our trip, the cache was found all in good order.

What a big trip this was! I headed over to St Arnaud for the 2019 Victorian mega with e.gregory1, Davidwazza, Featherwaite and Freddo for the long weekend.
The weekend was filled with a lot of finds ranging in puzzles, a few events and some very well constructed hides around the area.

Day 1: I headed over with e.gregory1 and featherwaite, with the aim to collect some unfound LGAs for the guys, with only a 500km drive to the mega from home we added an extra 450km to the trip by going over to Bendigo and further south exploring some regional towns, overall we added an extra 6 LGAs with only 18 finds for the day. Was great to see some of the interesting little towns and what they had to offer for future visits.

Day 2: As a group we hit the trails in St Arnaud as a group signing the logbooks as DEFF98 (Davidwazza, e.gregory1, Freddo, featherwaite and gridge98) to save a lot of room in the logbook. We started off with the geoart Stars and thought it would take most of the day, as we finished it in 2.5 hours we were a bit surprised so hit the well constructed caches in the south of the town in the bush throwing a CITO in the mix. All the caches were amazing and something you don’t see anywhere else. Adding in 15 FTFs along the way with: everlasting, crank1 and Pwola. The evening settled in and we headed into town for a buffet dinner and a catch up with some familiar faces.

Day 3:
After attending the GV2020 event for the morning we set off to hit the last of the trails left in town of the metal containers, followed by the challenges for the mega as well as quite a few trads around the back roads. We ended the day by having a go at the lab caches at the mega then off to the CITO. I don't think I have ever seen so mant people at a tip before. Topped off the day with an evening event.

Day 4: By today the town was almost cleaned out and only a few caches to find, so we did the last few caches within a rough 15km radius driving around finding the odd cache here and there. The GIFF was finished off the mega so we decided to head to Horsham for the evening.

Day 5: After leaving our camp site for the morning, we cached for the morning around Horsham collecting a few grads and a well earned swim. Then made the long drive back home to Adelaide.

Thanks to all the COs for their cache placements and the Geocaching Victoria crew for organising a fantastic weekend away.

**This Cache:**

Heading towards the CITO via a back road so we could grab a couple of caches along the way! This solved puzzle was the first, so we pulled over and started the search.

Myself and ZQX took some high ground, whilst DSD went lower and had his hand on the cache quickly.

Thanks for the cache!

**Today:**

Day 3 of the St. Arnaud mega with DSD and ZQX!

Today's main goal was to complete all of the lab caches, swap pathtags, complete our registration, hit some of the traditional trails, some more letterbox's and of course the two events + CITO. We also ticked off a few more solved puzzles that were on the list! A 12 hour day between the first and last find!

Thanks again to all the CO's for your efforts Smile

Found at 7:35 am.
I arrived the day before the St Arnaud Mega so I didn't have to rush to find everything I had targeted and it made it so much better with 3 days and not just 2. Today was about finding a few solved puzzles, looking for all the challenges and starting on the star puzzles.

This one I wrote a quick program and work to cycle through all the possible combos so my brain didn't have to think...well it did to create the program for a couple of minutes and I soon had a good looking GZ. Was nice to come and sign the log today.
Thanks FUF009 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

It's hard to give a puzzle a red hot go if you're not great with logic but combine it with numbers that you don't love either and it's lucky to get looked at. Judging by previous finders GZ sounded like an interesting spot so all thoughts of frustration were put aside and MrsG gave it a shot. With no sign of a solution it was shelved. [xx(] The next day, another look and what a surprise, a solved puzzle first time. Big Grin

After the St Arnaud Night Dinner Event we decided we weren't done for the day. A night bike ride in The Eucy was the plan and this was one of the caches we found. Enjoyed everything about this cache, thanks FUF009.

Left Hobart very early this morning, feeling the effects now! Decided to head to the St Arnaud area to complete the challenge caches and any puzzle caches that we have solved. We didn’t want to do too many long walks as we didn’t want to be too late arriving in Maryborough, visiting Lady membsec’s Mum. The next few days will be divided between quality time with the mother and geocaching.

Lady membsec loves these type of puzzles and soon had coords. Lovely area and great coords lead to a quick find.

A few days off so BettyBoo3747 and I decided to head to St Arnaud.
Day three... We joined The Morris to complete the new series Out & About, then back into town for the lunchtime event. A stroll around the AR cache, then off to do the first part of the BW series. Rounded off with the dinner event and a couple of night caches.

Solved these equations ages ago and fortunately placed the final into GSAK.
Last night we did the night cache but forgot about this one, we corrected that this afternoon.
A very interesting spot, and the history was good too.
Thanks, Robmc.

A lot of favourite points coming up. After lunch and the walking tour it was off in the car with Robmc to finish off the BW series we started yesterday. Finished the day with the dinner event and the remaining two night caches.

You may have heard this before as I am plagiarising dalerious' log from last year........

This puzzle I could do. Wink
Didn't say I did do. But I could.Cool

Loved wandering around here. Interesting cache page too outlining its history.

Thanks FUF009

Knowing we would be coming to the area we looked for a number of puzzles to solve. This one looked interesting and we soon had the logic and maths flowing. No problems with the hide and we completed the signing duties and re hid. TFTC.

Interesting story about the eucalypt industry - wonder why it was in so much demand at that time.
Thanks FUF009.

Sunday morning was a chance to pick up some solved mysteries and the odd trad' before having to make our way home to the old "bump n grind". [^]

This puzzle I could do.Razz

Muggle Hubby loved browsing around these old Eucy places, so dalerious and I left him to it, whilst we located the cache.
Thanks so much for the chance to stretch our legs, find a cache, and add a smiley face to our maps.

I have just about a hundred caches to log so please excuse the generic log for a lot of very fine caches that was found and placed by a few different hiders.
I must say a special thanks to Flo, Wayne and Simon for the vast amount of work that they have put in to provide us cachers with Events, and some very creative hides this weekend.
Lotus Cache phoned the ageing Bushfire so we decided to meet up and continue to find all the new caches on the the BW series and then turned out attention to a few solved mystery caches before dinner and this was one of them.
I printed this cache out way back on the 13/02/2013.
Thanks FUF009 for cache.

Seems we may have traversed private propety without realising. : Cleaning up a few long-time solved puzzles while in the area. Found with Mr Fergzter Thanks for the awesome days geocaching and all the work you put into this trail and all the other great caches.

After finishing the nearby new series of geocaches for the St Arnaud weekend myself and Wozzle68 set to finding a long list of puzzle caches that had long been on my list for many years, however I always ran out of time to find them. Well no more. Today was the day to clear out as many as we could. Another interesting place. TFTC FUF009

I have had this puzzle solved for so long I doubt I could solve it again. Now visiting St Arnaud for the last time in the short future, I thought it was time to collect a few caches. So I forced the CO to drive and finally have my name in the log book. Tftc

Up from Melbourne, for a few days on the school holidays for a mini Geocaching holiday / adventure in the St Arnaud area.

Knowing we would be up this way, we have spent the last month slowly solving as many of the puzzles in the area that we could. Luckily, most of the ones I couldn’t solve, Mrs P. could solve. We didn’t manage to solve all in the area, but we may have solved more than we will have time to collect!

An interesting spot here. Thanks for bringing us here FUF009.

I had a bit of trouble solving this one I am not happy to say , but Mrs P solved it within minutes...

Then today when we went to find it, I couldn't locate it. Mrs P came up with the goods. Mrs P writes the cache notes on our travels. I am reading her notes now - "I solved it, I found it, Cass" !

What is she trying to tell me.

Thanks for the puzzle FUF009

Staying in St Arnaud for the weekend and hubby was happy to come out for a drive. Had solved this and it hadn't been found for some time, so happy to see it was still here.
Thanks FUF009 for placing the cache for us to find.

Thanks FUF009 for the cache.

An interesting old place. I wonder how long ago that the distilling of eucalyptus oil here ceased. I love eucalyptus diamonds, especially when I have a cold.

GoodLook wanted to head to St Arnaud for the events there and needed a 4WD......hence Harry was put back into service Cool and we made the trip there and back without any mishaps Surprised
Considering that we spent around 3 hours in the Little Desert, playing in the sand, yet didn't get bogged at all that was impressive Razz
Over 3 fun filled days we experienced some great countryside [^] and great caches Cool, some fun times with the very friendly Victorians Big Grin and just a few mosquitoes too Wink
I had only 1 Sad DNF over the 3 days (bloody nemesis caches!Twisted), attended 4 Cool events and made 43 Smile cache finds some of which near St Arnaud were just absolutely amazing! CoolSurprised[^]Cool

A very interesting area and history which I'm glad that you brought us here to see [^]Cool

Beautiful spot.

What an amazing 3 days spent with Locus Cache whilst on a girls caching trip! SurprisedWinkCool

We travelled from Adelaide to the lovely St Arnaud area to enjoy a weekend of fantastic events whilst finding a number of caches on the journey, in some spectacular locations...ohhh...and at times the conversations were so amusing we just couldn't stop laughing!! haha [:o)] Big Grin

Some of the stand out moments included driving into the Little Desert National Park and turning a 1.5*T into a 5*Terrain! So instead of being there for a 30 minute cache, we went on a 3 hour unexpected adventure!! SurprisedBig Grin

We saw kangaroos, emus, lots of birds and a whole heap of water due to recent heavy rains.

On the Saturday we spent all day with the gorgeous micaparamedic...LOL...and we not only found some awesome caches, but we literally BOUNCED all around Kaye's car -Harry- as we ventured on the many bush tracks...we even had conversations about all sorts of fruit - pineapples, blueberries and cherry tomatoes to be precise! Red FaceRazzWinkCool

All in all we attended 4 wonderful events this weekend, 3 in St Arnaud and even made it back in time to attend one of Freddo's very cool events in SA - GEOCACHING ROCKS!!! [:X]

Thanks for the cache FUF009! Smile

This was a straightforward puzzle and we soon had a set of viable coordinates. Today we went to look for the cache. Our road GPS took us by a most circuitous route but on the way back, we found a much more direct way. Once at GZ, accurate coordinates led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks FUF009 for the puzzle and cache.

Having attended an event nearby, brisal5, Anymules and myself needed to stretch our legs and go geocaching.
I really like puzzles where Maths is the challenge... was solving when I got an email saying all sorted.... but at least my quick look and put me on the right track.
Thank you

Staying at Redbanks overnight with Anymules and Mogni to attend the 3 months till the Surf Coast event in St Arnaud. Cool Up early we have all morning to cache our way to the event. In preparation we had solved 25 nearby puzzles so they were on our 'must do' list. A day of caching with me usually involves blood spilled, a fall and/or ripped clothing. I wonder which order they will be in today? Not to mention lots of laughs and adventures. Razz
20 cache finds and no DNFs later we found ourselves at the event we came for. So after a few snags, a few chats and lots of trackables discovered it was time to cache again. [^]
This little puzzle caused a bit of grief doing it by hand. So open up excel, put the formula in and try a few combinations and it quickly fell into place. You know the drill. Geochecker smiled [^] I smiled Big Grin and all was good in the world again. All that was left was to find the cache.
What a great little spot. Took a couple of looks before the cache finally revealed itself. Been a few trees fall down since it was hidden me thinks. Smile Log signed and time to admire the structures.

This morning we set off with McLookers to pick up all our presolved puzzles in the area , hoping to finish before the Surf Coast BBQ lunch event. The weather was being much kinder than the day before with the rain holding off as we drove around the St Arnaud area from cache to cache enjoying the sights as we went. Luckily we can report zero dnf's and 100 % success. A nice maths problem for the mathematician in the team giving us a very likely set of coords.
Thanks FUF009 for bringing us here.

A bit of a mind twister but we were able to make the puzzle work in the end. Thanks FUF009. A quick find with The Tritonz in an interesting area.

We (Team Clarmensma) decided the long weekend was a great chance to head over for a day in St Arnaud to complete the BM challenge, target some puzzles and nab as many others as we had time for. Oh and throw in an event also!
A fantastic day was had finding some awesome caches. TFTC!

With a long weekend for us all, becca85 & GemmaSistema decided to make a caching day trip to St Arnaud which of course included myself, boo09 & the Junior Sistema boys (AKA Team Clarmensma) Our main aim was to get through the Bush Meander series and then try and knock off some puzzles (Mum is doing a 31 in 31 days challenge).
We managed to complete all of the BM series (SO AWESOME!!!), plenty of puzzles, attend the event & lots more in between. A huge, enjoyable day was had. Thanks to all of the wonderful CO's for a fantastic day!

It's amazing what places you find! Again a hidden gem here! Thanks for the puzzle and the cache Smile

A massive day today caching in and around St Arnaud with becca85 and our 4 geokids ages 5, 6, 6 & 8 (or boo09 & neisha07). We left home at 7:30am and returned at 10:30pm. So a massive 15 hour day of which we just about cached non-stop for 12 hours. The kids were brilliant all day. We made a dent in the caches with close to 60 found but we will still need to return. A big thanks to all the cache owners - just a fabulous day with such variety.

I spent way too much time on this puzzle last year then decided I needed a break and would get back to it. Luckily Gemma came though with the goods.

With a long weekend ahead of us, GemmaSistema & I made the plans many weeks ago to meet up in St Arnaud today to do the award winning Bush Meander trail and as many others as we could fit in.
Leading up to it we had all puzzles within 30km solved. We cached from 9am til 9pm, with 4 children including boo09 & neisha07 in tow, stopping only for our hour long Lunch event.
Such an amazing variety to be found. My St Arnaud map is now more than 50% Smilies but still plenty more to get to so we will certainly be back! TFTC!

Found while out collecting solved puzzles in between the lunch and dinner events at St Arnaud today.
This puzzle didn't give us much trouble, but the final location was awesome! Spent a lot of extra time just enjoying the site. No wonder we don't get big numbers in a day but this is why we love geocaching. Thanks for the puzzle and for the hide FUF009.

Staying a few days in St Arnoud this morning we woke to 'sunshine' yay. Straight away we offloaded the bikes and headed out to visit the town caches.

After lunch we headed back out in the GeoCruiser to grab a few caches close to town. Wink

So much history in this region, just lovely.

We were heading back to town being that it was approaching dark o'clock when we noticed the night cache. Oh lets go and take a look see if we can pick it up early. Oh what's this a solved puzzle (yes Mrs Felix solved it earlier in the week)

So we headed to this one as we waited for the sun to set. Well Mr Felix headed out to find it given the terrain, but he came up empty handed so after a few minutes Mrs Felix limped over and said what about this cache[?] Razz oops.

Thanks for your cache to feed our GeoAddiction.

I remember when I saw my first eucy distillery, memory tells us it was at Wedderburn back around 2011. We bought some of the oil and we still have some of it to this day, so much purer than the stuff you buy at the supermarket. SL TFTC

Suscoe's 30th find of quite a few this afternoon after arriving in town to set about finding some caches.
The sky was threatening and from time to time we got wet with a little drizzle and then the sun smiled on us and the jackets got dry.
The puzzle was solved and the chance to find presented itself today.
An enjoyable expedition and the cache was there waiting for us as we had hoped for.
Thanks to FUF009 for this great puzzle, we saw some country side we haven't seen before.
